"That's…a lot to take in," sensei said in confusion. I pursed my lips, my hands in behind my back. "I do believe you however, it makes a lot of sense, even just…with your relationship with the boys and myself." She sighed and looked at me fondly. "I knew there was something strange about you the second I saw you during the Chuunin Exams."
"Was it all?"
"No. It was…a big question I had, but it is not all." I glanced at the Mizukage hat next to her on her desk.
It was January, sensei had been the Mizukage for a few days now. I had told her everything about being a Yuurei. Like Yagura had suspected, sensei had asked me how I knew so many things. I told her, plain and simple.
"The other thing is your status in the village. You became a kunoichi here due to circumstances only you and I know and the Hokage would gladly get you back."
"But?" She smiled faintly.
"Well, I don't want to see you leave. You are a part of Kiri like any of us, even more so now." I rubbed my nose when I sniffed. "I will not force you to stay if you don't want to stay, of course, but I would be sad to see you leave."
"I'm the reason plans had to be changed at the last-minute sensei," I reminded her bitterly. She pursed her lips. "If it was not for me, you would not have been captured."
"Nothing happened during that time I cannot handle, and we are shinobi. We adapt with the cards we're dealt with. But we're also humans with feelings." I scoffed.
"I'm sorry, but this whole shinobi thing is just…bullshit, straight-up bullshit."
"It is," she agreed. "It is a bullshit that shaped our society though." I shook my head.
"Yeah, I know that too much." I took a deep breath. "I…I don't know what…I can't be a kunoichi in Konoha anymore, that's something that can't be changed by anyone. The best I could do is having a civilian life there, I'm not even sure if my title of Seal Master is still legit and…well, you know what's coming, so does Minato, I'm not sure I can handle sitting back while people I care about just…"
"I get it. I am going to start talking with Hokage-dono seriously. We'll see for Suna later." I averted my eyes when I spotted the worried glint in her emerald eyes. "Don't look away from me when I'm worried about you."
"You shouldn't," I mumbled under my breath.
"Yet I do. Very much so, and so do the guys. Haku told me since you found that scroll in your house, you have been acting off."
"I'm…fine. I mean, you'd need to define the word 'fine' but…"
"What do you want Akane?"
"…I want to fix my mistakes." She furrowed her brows. "Shisui became a missing-nin because of me and…"
"From what you have told me it is not exactly what happened."
"It feels like it, okay? I need to…I want to look for him and reintegrate him in Konoha. I want to kick Obito's stupid ass to the ground and…Kiri was fine without me before; I don't think I am neces…"
"You're not necessary, I agree."
"Aouch?"
"It doesn't mean we don't want you there. You need to be useful to belong."
"You still need a purpose though."
"Of course." She took a deep breath. "I have a suggestion, an offer, for you." I furrowed my brows. "I want you to remain attached to Kiri but I can't pretend what is coming is not concerning so…I was thinking of giving you the same role Jiraya-sama has in Konoha." I frowned.
"What do you know about his job?"
"Enough. Hokage-dono mentioned it; he said you would not stand to be stuck in one place."
"So, I'm roaming free, but I keep my status as a kunoichi here. I'd be a what…a spy? An informant?"
"All of the above if you wish. On the continent, you'd be our representative, our ambassador, you'd act in our name and give us information first and foremost. You would remain part of Kirigakure; however, you're the leader of the Yuki clan and I can't let you leave now." I pursed my lips. It was to be expected, of course. "You'd need to contact me often, just to let me know you're still breathing but…"
"I'll take it," I interrupted her. "Sorry, I cut you off but…I'll take it." If I could look for Shisui…
I mean, he'd be with my dad and all of that but…I couldn't let him stay in the Akatsuki any longer, I just couldn't. I had to see him, see if he was still himself…
Now Kiri was stable, I could not help but think about what my father had potentially done to him to…In retrospect, sensei's idea was wonderful. I didn't even have my own apartment or anything, so I was leaving nothing behind here.
"I'm going to ask you to stick around until the end of January though, I still need you for now." I nodded.
"Of course, of course, just…thank you. For letting me do this."
"Well, I'd rather let you go than have you leave without my knowledge." I smiled sheepishly. "You can go."
"Thanks sensei, love you!"
I stopped at the pharmacy on the way home. I had been having headaches recently. Dai had prescribed me some painkillers; it was good for now but…I had the feeling I'd need to take two pills at once at some point.
"I am very sorry," Minato told him the second he stepped in his office.
"Why?"
"I need you to postpone your surgery." Itachi raised a brow. "We've been keeping an eye on this island, the Isle of the Lost."
"They have started to make some noise."
"I need you to lead a team there, around first and then try to get inside to see what is going on."
"I don't think getting inside would be easy."
"Well, let's say I'm giving you the power to do the mission as you feel as long as you learn what is their goal. I have the Tsuchikage breathing down my neck wanting to position troops in the Land of Fire to attack the place."
"Oh." It was bad. "And I suppose you let him, or he forces his way through the country?"
"Pretty much. Our forces are still wavering, like Suna and like Kiri. Kumo stayed at bay but…you never know with the Raikage." Minato sighed. "There were not this many threats of war before, was there?"
"You have had time to make a real, solid name for yourself Hokage-sama." When Tsunade had become the Fifth Hokage, she had been busy getting Konoha back to its stability after Orochimaru's attack, which had been worst. Suna had been worst as well. Kiri had been…well, Obito's playfield.
"I could do without the ripple effect of not dying," Minato whispered under his breath. "I'm sorry for rambling and asking you to do this."
"You're going to be the target of my mother's wrath, not me." A nervous chuckle escaped the Hokage's lips. "I know how to fight with this anyway."
"It's still not something you should…I'll run this by Tsunade-sama anyway." Itachi nodded. "That reminds me. Akane is leaving Kiri." Itachi perked up at that.
"…to go where?"
"Around." That was not… "I have been talking with the Mizukage about her special case and it was obvious to us both that she would leave Kiri at some point, so she is going to do the same job Jiraya-sensei is doing for Konoha as well as being Kiri's spokesperson on the continent. Point is, I might ask for her to tag along your team." He nodded. "Unless if you feel you cannot work together."
"No," Itachi refuted immediately. "We can work together just fine." The suspicious gaze of the Hokage made him a little bit nervous.
"Alright. Anyone you feel better to have with you?"
"Kakashi-san and Tenzou-san."
"Yamato now, but okay. You can go, I'll make you come back the three of you later, but you'll go to the hospital first."
He looked at the sunny sky when he was outside and smiled to himself.
Akane was leaving Kiri, kind of. He couldn't be happier about it.
"Don't get pregnant, stay in touch with us and…"
"Why do you keep telling her not to get pregnant each time she leaves on her own?" Mangetsu interrupted Dai.
"You never know!" I rolled my eyes and hugged Haku tightly.
"Don't forget that you can take money from the treasury Haku, it is what it is made for," I whispered in his ear.
"I know Uzu-nee." I squeezed him tighter. I loved hearing him call me 'Uzu-nee'. "I need to breathe…"
"I'll come back, if just to teach you more about Ice Release, even if you know your fair share about it." He chuckled weakly and tapped my shoulder.
"Sure but…oxygen…" I let him go.
"Oxygen is overrated." Zabuza-san punched me behind the head. "Hey!"
"You're embarrassing Uzumaki." I gave him the finger. His eye twitched.
"Can I count on you to convince Hoshigaki-san?" He sobered up and grunted.
"You're getting your hopes up for nothing."
"You never know." I was trying to get Hoshigaki-san involved in Kiri, well at least make him develop an interest in it.
He had told me Itachi had a way with words. I asked him why help Obito, well Tobi to him. He said he had given him an objective and knew what to expect, what his role was. I asked him if spying on me was making him feel like his purpose was worth it, which shut him up. Then, I told him Kiri was changing, that what his generation had to live through would end and that he could help with that and get a purpose there.
I reminded him he was not the only one who couldn't find himself in the mist, and that he could stay in it or leave it and join us in building the village anew. Hopefully, it would make something click in his mind.
"Be careful out there," Naoto whispered in my ear as we were hugging.
"Got it." After one last hug for sensei, I left.
I was on the continent four days later, in the Land of Frost. I found myself an inn and spread a map of the continent on my bed. I circled the Isle of the Lost, well where it was in the sea, and the Land of Iron in red. Those were two places I knew Shisui knew. The Isle of the Lost was…a big no no on my own, so the Land of Iron it was. I could look for this Shinobu and try to see if she had heard from him.
It took me a week to reach the Land of Iron. I was not wounded like the first time; it was way quicker to get there. Once in the snowy country, I found my way to Kinzoku. I located Mari and the kid, Haruto if I remembered correctly, and found myself a spot to spy on them. I could see their heads through the window of the apartment.
I narrowed my eyes at the ginger-haired woman going there. She knocked, Mari opened and greeted her by calling her "Shinobu".
So, she was Shisui's girlfriend Itachi had told me about.
I widened my eyes when I had a hand on my mouth and was taken away. The second my feet were on the ground, I elbowed them hard in the ribs and spun around, my leg raised so I'd kick them in the hand. They grabbed my ankle and sighed.
"Shisui?" I said with a frown.
"Hey, long time no see Akane," he greeted me. He let go of my leg and we just looked at each other. "I understand you…" I slapped him. Hard. He took a step back, a hand on his cheek. "Yeah, I figured that much. It still hurts less than Itachi."
"Do you want another one?" He shook his head.
I still pushed him in the snow.
"I trusted you!"
"Yeah, yeah, I know and I'm…very, very sorry I kind of stabbed you in the back, okay?" He stood up and removed the snow from his clothes.
"Kind of? How about having a very painful stab wound in my thigh!?"
"…well, at least you know you can freeze a big distance on the sea." I narrowed my eyes at him. "Okay, you are…mad, and rightfully so, I understand but…" His shoulders lowered a little, his eye sad and ashamed, guilty. "I really am sorry."
"I know." I hugged him tightly without any notice. He didn't move for a few seconds.
"You know hugging an enemy is not…"
"Are you still?" He sighed and wrapped his arms around me.
"Not anymore." Thought so, he wouldn't be in the Land of Iron, where shinobism was not allowed.
Yeah, I made up the word "shinobism".
"Come with me, I'll explain everything once we're inside."
"My father better not be waiting for me there," I said more seriously.
"I'm very much alone, don't worry about it."
He led me to a hotel room, the receptionist staring at us for a little bit too long. Clearly, she thought we were going to bang. When Shisui closed the door behind him, I eyed the mess in the room critically.
"Do you happen to have Healing Seals by any chance?"
"Always, wh…" I didn't finish my sentence. He had removed his shirt, letting me see the reddened bandage wrapped around his abdomen and ribcage. "Shisui!"
"Can you stop scolding me for one second please? You helped with it you know." I rolled my eyes and made him sit on the bed. I removed the dirty bandages and unsealed my medical kit. I started to work quietly. "So, you and Itachi left together and…"
"We hooked up several times, he confessed but we're not together," I retorted sternly, my eyes stuck on the wounds. "What happened to you?"
"I ran away, I deserted, call it whatever you want. Madara did not appreciate it, or the Leader." I widened my eyes at him. "I'm lucky to be quick."
"You faced the Rinnegan?" He nodded.
"Since I joined, I started planning different strategies to fight each member off."
"What prompted you to leave?"
"You." I raised a brow and looked at him. "Madara, he came to me demanding I help him make you join us."
"…he used you as leverage to make me join."
"I'm aware. Anyway, I refused, and with your dad in the Akatsuki, it was impossible to make you join willingly anyway. Then he started saying he was fully aware we had helped you and Itachi and Leader-sama got involved and…a fight broke out."
"How did you escape?"
"Ushio helped me." I scoffed. "It may be hard to believe for you, but it is true. I honestly don't even know if he is still in the Akatsuki either." I pursed my lips, his wounds cleaned.
"Did he try anything weird on you? Seals or…" He shook his head.
"You hate him, and you have good reasons to but…he's been a pretty okay guy to me." I frowned. "I know it sounds weird, and if you get mad at me for it then I can't do anything about it but…we got along well, and he taught me a thing or two and…"
"You're bestie with my father," I summed up, shocked. "That's…I don' t have the words."
"You're not mad or…"
"Dude, he killed my brother!" I interrupted him, slapping the seal on his gash. He winced. "He…URHGH!" I made hand signs and my seal glowed green. "You spent four years with him and now…"
"Well, he did drag me to that shrine to help you out," he reminded me. I pointed an accusing finger at him, but nothing came out.
"Did he tell you he tried to sacrifice me for some dark clan ritual?" He was confused. "I knew it, selective information giving!" I removed the now blank paper tag. "Shisui, he's…well I can't say how he is because I barely know him but…"
"I've spent as much time with him as you did." I blinked. Four years…
"Huh, that's weird to think about." I shook my head and put a Healing Seal on another wound. "Anyway, he's bad news! Just ask Minato-san!"
"You think that was not a big part of my job?" He sighed. "I've reported to him, so I guess it would be best to directly take this matter to him." I bit my tongue to keep a snarky remark to come out. "Why are you here?"
"I was looking for you." He raised a brow and I sighed. "I'm…allowed to go wherever I want, the Mizukage granted me permission. I'm like Jiraya-san in a way and I wanted to look for you and see how…I could extract you from the Akatsuki." He snickered for a few seconds, but seeing my face, he stopped.
"You're stupid." I glared at him. "Akane, I'm serious! Didn't Itachi give you my message? I know what…it's dangerous! After Kiri, diving straight to the Akatsuki is like begging Madara to abduct you!" I averted my eyes.
"I know bu…"
"No but!" He jumped to his feet and started pacing. "That's reckless on so many levels! And I'm a criminal Akane, it's not as if I could go home as if nothing had ever happened! I'm not like you!"
"…it doesn't feel right to go back to Konoha without you." He stopped pacing and licked his lips. "You weren't supposed to be in that position in the first place and…"
"It's not your fault, I'll repeat it as many times as necessary for you to believe it." I took a deep breath. "Don't stay away from Konoha for that reason. If you can go back to it, then go back. I'm not telling you to move back there but…just to see everyone." I looked down. "I'm not your responsibility Akane."
"Hum…" He sighed and ruffled my hair. "You deserve better than…this."
"Come on, you don't even know what I've got here!"
"Your girlfriend?" He blushed a little. "She made Itachi blush by some…statements."
"Oh damn it," he muttered, a hand on his face.
"She looks pretty."
"She is, yes she is." I raised a brow at him.
"She knows you're here, right?" He pursed his lips and shook his head. "Shisui!"
"I just…I tried to go and meet her, but I got cold feet and booked this room instead. What if she has a boyfriend?" I gazed sternly at him. "I'm here for business anyway!"
"What kind?"
"I…I've been keeping an eye on the Isle of the Lost, they're after the kid." I pursed my lips. "A delegation is going to come at an official party with officials from Kinzoku and the province. I'd like to say they would not sell a kid but if they realize it is shinobi-related, they might. They very well could be bribed too; they are quite corrupt around here."
"So, you're also trying to protect her."
"Of course, I'm not…she's had a complicated life already, even if I'd love to, I know staying in touch with her would only put her in more danger and I can't have that."
"Huh, so that's what had upset Itachi then." He frowned. "He didn't go into details, just that you had used him and I as an example."
"…I see. Should I expect another punch from him?"
"Dunno." I stood up. "So, when is that gathering and what should I wear?"
"Excuse me?"
"What, I'm here, I'm not going to let you dive into danger without me! We work together in the shadows, don't we? You're no longer in the Akatsuki, I have a lot of freedom…"
"I'm trying to redeem myself."
"And I'm helping you." He pursed his lips. "Do you want me to remind you what happened last time?"
"No need." He put his hands on his hips. "Fine, I guess we'll go shopping tomorrow in the better district."
"Yaye, shopping!" I knew he was already sick of it.
"That…is a surprise," Shinobu stated. She moved aside, letting Itachi, Kakashi and Yamato in. "And who are your friends?"
"Hatake Kakashi, and this is Yamato," Kakashi replied with a nod.
"My name is Shinobu." She turned back to Itachi once the door of her office was closed. "Now, it is not that I am not glad to see you Itachi-kun, but if feels like shinobi business."
"It is." He turned around to face her. "Has anyone come for Mari-san and Haruto-san?"
"No, they live a pretty quiet life here." Itachi pursed his lips. "At least until now."
"We have tracked people down to here from where they were extracted. It is not a coincidence."
"…it must be for the banquet." Itachi raised a brow. "The Land of Iron stays out of shinobi business, it has been shinobi business since you have been involved, correct?" Itachi nodded. "Then, one way or another, they are going to go through the officials of the province to avoid getting in troubles with samurais."
"How likely are they to agree with people from the island?" Yamato asked her. "If we have to help officials from here to get to the boy, it complicates things."
"I doubt it will go there; the province is corrupted. They're easily bribed." Kakashi glanced at Itachi.
"It looks like we're going to a banquet."
"I could get you in, at least a plus one." They all glanced at Shinobu. "I could possibly expand my business."
"It's dangerous," Itachi told her sternly.
"Do you think I don't know that already? I don't want shinobi bringing troubles to my business, and having someone in the crowd would be better, wouldn't it?"
"She's not wrong," Kakashi told him. Itachi pinched the bridge of his nose for a second.
"She's a civilian."
"A civilian who could be useful." Itachi glanced at his teammates.
"Could you give us a minute?" They left without a word. "Alright, what is this about?"
"It's…" She sighed. "Someone told me they thought they have seen Shisui-kun in town." Now that was unexpected. "You came with these two because of him, now he's here and with what you said…he'll be at this banquet!"
"He could be here as an enemy."
"I just…I need to see him, even if it's just for a bit."
"It's dangerous."
"Well, I'll go there on my own then, how more dangerous could that be?" He frowned at her. "Or you can come as my date and bodyguard."
"You're manipulative." Her dark blue eyes became distant for a brief second, before the deceitful glint in them came back.
"I didn't keep this business afloat without learning a thing or two. Your world is not the only jungle in the world." He was fully aware of it already. "I'm going anyway, so if you care about my safety, you might as well…"
"Fine, I'll be your date." She clasped her hands in front of her with a grin.
"I heard they were having a Ninjo-Banashi play as entertainment." She pinched his flak jacket. "You are going to need a suit." He frowned.
"It's modern attire? Not traditional?" She nodded and he almost sighed. He had never worn a modern suit before, had no idea how to tie a tie and…
"It's more practical at least," she reminded him. "I'll tie your tie for you Itachi-kun."
"Hn." She pinched his cheek with a chuckle.
"Aren't you just adorable pouting?" He removed her hand.
Shinobu had insisted on paying for the suits for the three of them. Yamato and Kakashi would go around, trying to gather information on their own while he'd go in the middle of the crowd with Shinobu. He had a dark gray suit, a red dressed shirt with a black tie and black formal shoes. He readjusted his tie for the hundredth time once they were in front of the building, people going in.
"It can't be that uncomfortable," Shinobu nagged him, holding his arm.
"I'm not used to it," he retorted coldly. She was wearing a long mustard-colored evening gown with a deep cleavage and a yellow fur shawl at her elbows.
"Get used to it then." They entered the building. A samurai checked their invitation and let them in the ballroom.
It was a very big room, with a stage in the back. People were talking around tables and there were copious amounts of food at the buffet, waiters going around with drinks. Shinobu whisked two champagne flutes and handed him one, which he turned down.
"Seriously, what do you do for fun?" Certainly not taking part in mundane parties. He would rather go to an official gathering of his clan than be here.
There was a play, close to being explicit during some scenes, and Shinobu elbowed him in the ribs as they were clapping.
"That's the provincial lord," she whispered to him, talking about a middle-aged man with graying hair. "The other I do not know."
"I do," he replied curtly. The blond man had been at the Isle of the Lost.
Itachi felt a breeze of air in his back. He looked above his shoulder but saw nothing.
"What's this?" He opened his hand. There was a note in it. "That's a girl's handwriting."
"That's…"
It…looked like Akane's.
It said to go to the back, close to the food storages near the kitchens. With Shinobu. They exchanged a quick look and Itachi slipped his arm around her waist firmly before heading there. Itachi skillfully avoided any staff member, but there was no one once they were near said storage.
"How can you know this is not a trap?"
"My intuition."
"Do you listen to it often in your line of work?"
"Not often enough." There were quick footsteps not far. Itachi grabbed Shinobu and entered the food storage with her. It was a small closet, and he was completely stuck between her and the shelves behind him.
"It's tight," she grumbled, moving to try to get more comfortable.
"Stop moving," he told her coldly. He could do without her rubbing her breasts against him.
He grabbed her arms to make her stop, but the sudden move made her twist her ankle. He kept her from falling but somehow, her dress moved aside, her bare breast now against him and visible under the light of the lightbulb above them.
"Oh no," she sighed, not embarrassed at all. "Put it back please."
"I beg your pardon?"
"I can barely move my arms!" Still, it was highly improper. "I'm giving you my authorization."
"It's…" How could he even end up in such a situation?
With one arm firmly secured around her waist, he pressed her against him as much as possible to get some space between her and the shelves. She leaned her bust back like she could, flashing Itachi in the process. He shut his eyes immediately and found the fabric of the dress. He hastily put it back, Shinobu giggling at his embarrassment.
"You know, I'd almost think you don't think I'm pretty Itachi-kun," she whispered against his lips with a sly smirk, her hand on his to press it on her boob. She was…so unnerving, and had no sha…
The door was opened. Itachi opened his eyes and looked to his right to find Shisui, the older Uchiha's eye darting between him and Shinobu, and his hand on her breast.
"The fuck?" he muttered. Itachi barely opened his mouth that Shisui turned around. "Don't lo…" Akane's head popped above his shoulder and took in the scene with a confused look on her face.
"What are you doing?"
His body moved on his own in sheer panic. Itachi left the closet, his eyes stuck on Akane. She stepped to the side, looking at Shinobu up and down and then glanced at her chest.
"Not fair," she muttered.
"It's not what it looks like," he stated, ashamed that something like this was coming out of his lips. "It…" he trailed off, realizing both Akane and Shisui had formal attires. Shisui was wearing a suit with a bowtie, his hair shorter.
His eyes were stuck on Akane. She had a long, tight black dress that pooled down her feet. It was opened on her right leg to her mid-thigh, letting him see the black heels she was wearing, and the stockings she had. The long sleeves turned into flowing sleeves at her wrists down to her second knuckles. Her hair was tied in a low bun, her bangs shorter on her forehead and longer on the sides, framing her face in loose curls. She had makeup on, but his eyes were stuck on the deep-red lips she sported.
"Oh," she said, before turning around. Her back was bare, an intricate see-through lace-pattern connecting the sides of the dress. The black fabric ended just a few centimeters above her butt. "Here, your eyes are happy?" He nodded, his throat dry. "So, what were you two doing?"
"Nothing," he reiterated.
"Is she the girl?" Shinobu asked him in a whisper, but loud enough for Shisui and Akane to hear. He stepped to the side, putting distance between them as Shisui just…sighed.
"I knew something like this would happen," he muttered. Shinobu narrowed her blue eyes at him.
"Well, if someone had told me he was in town, maybe it would not have happened." For the first time, Itachi heard actual resentment in her voice.
Shisui and her exchanged a long gaze, which ended when his cousin shook his head, taking a step back. Shinobu closed her hands in fists at this.
"We have a mission Akane," Shisui told her. Akane shot him a pointed look Shisui ignored.
"We've already explained everything to Kakashi and senpai," Akane told him. "Find them, we're in… a hurry." She walked to him and put his ponytail on his shoulder before nodding to herself. "Here, better." Then, she left.
He gulped quietly as he watched her leave, his eyes roaming hungrily on her retreating figure.
"You're into her very much, and definitely not gay," Shinobu commented. It broke him out of his reverie.
"Let's go find Kakashi-san and Yamato-san."
He was on a mission. Sure, Akane was drop dead gorgeous and he had a good idea of the things he wanted to do to her but…he was on a mission.
Itachi was hot. Smoking hot. I had never seen him in a suit before but…dang it.
"So, she just enjoys making people uncomfortable and doesn't shy away from…using herself?" Shisui sighed as we were back in the crowd.
"Pretty much." Shisui had spotted Shinobu immediately, then Itachi and told me she would most likely try something to make him uncomfortable.
Of course, seeing Itachi with his hand on her breast was not…nice, but at least I had been warned.
"You can't run away from her," I reminded him. He rolled his eye.
"Sure, but can we focus on our mission for now?" He made me spin and did a dip. I leaned my head back, catching a glimpsed of Itachi and Shinobu watching us.
Shisui pulled me back to his level, his hands on my waist and mine on his shoulders.
"Don't let them break your focus," he whispered to me, our faces close to each other.
"I know."
When both targets left the room, we danced our way out of it to follow them.
Thanks for reading. I hope you have liked it, please do let me know in reviews! Thanks to the Guests for the reviews!
So I'm not entirely back yet, but this arc is short and done so I'll post it. I'm not sure how often yet though, but I talked with some Brits this morning at my internship who understood me when I spoke English so it put me in a good mood and I felt like posting. As a warning though, when I wrote this arc I was kind of going through seasonal depression (thanks January) and kind of a mid-life crisis I think? I was confused about where i would go after my degree and felt like I was sooooo behind on life, it was not a fun month. Anyway, taking a break from writing did me some good because ideas started to flow again. It's slow, but it is here. My thesis is going, I have 87 pages out of 100 so it's coming along, and if anyone wants to know anything about King Arthur in Marvel comics or mangas, well I'm here to tell you about it now!
Alright, update finish!
Bye!
