Naomasa Tsukauchi had one of those days. When he started looking for the Mustard Gas Villain, he thought it would be easy to find him. He thought it would be enough to look up Quirkless with green hair, but of course it wasn't that simple. Apparently, the discrimination had spread to such an extent that the police stopped recording data about Quirkless in a consistent way. Now it was no longer possible to use the Quirk register to find information about Quirkless.
So now he had to go through a lot of paperwork to get addresses to be able to make home visits and ask questions.
The first person was too old to be the one Toshinori described. In addition, the person tried to call the police when he asked if he was Quirkless.
The second one was no better. He was the right age, but when the other person's mother brought Naomasa to the boy's room, he was just about to try to hang himself. Naomasa did not have the opportunity to ask questions.
"Ah, I'm not getting paid enough for this," Naomasa murmured as he began the paperwork for the next person.
(Ring ring, ring ring)
Naomasa picked up his phone and answered when he saw who it was. "Hey Toshinori, how's it going?"
"Good, I just need a break from the paperwork Nezu gave me".
"Ha, same here. Did you know that you need permission to know a Quirkless' name, home address, and criminal record?" And it doesn't say anything about age or appearance."
"Really? It wasn't like that when I was young."
"Yes, apparently the discrimination against Quirkless has gotten worse in recent years. The news doesn't talk about it either. If you don't specialize in that, you don't know. And people in Japan who are specifically focused on discrimination against Quirkless can be counted on one hand."
"Are you serious?" asked Toshinori dejectedly.
"Yes. A lot has changed since you met Nana Shimura. How are you doing with UA? Do you think you'll find an heir?"
"I can only wait and see."
"Fuck!"
"What happened?! Is it a villain attack?"
"Nope. But, I've done so many searches for Quirkless in the registry now, that they're going to check me out for Quirklessness discrimination. It will prevent me from searching for the Mustard Gas Villain for at least a week."
"Oh."
"Err. I'm just having one of those days today!"
The two Midoriya watched as The Fiend sat on the couch, covered in blankets, eating ice cream. She watched an old zombie movie with swollen eyes while mumbling something about a stupid chainsaw.
"Um, Izuku. What happened? You were out for an hour and when you came back, she was a mess. You didn't do anything stupid?"
"What? No. It's like this..." Izuku was trying to figure out what to say. But he can't say that Tanya's master has forgotten about her. "Um, you see. We met someone who was important to her, but..."
"Important? Like her parents, or a boyfriend?" Inko wondered worriedly.
"Nope. It was someone who was important to her, but she didn't know who she was. And now she's a mess."
"Oh, poor her. Who was it? Tell me her name now," Inko said, not knowing that she was planning to go to war against the War Devil.
"Oh, um. I have no right to say that."
"Ah, of course. I guess it doesn't matter. But now we have to help her feel better. Izuku go and comfort her," Inko commanded.
"What, why?"
"For there is no one better at fixing a young lady's heart than a young man. Now go," she said, pushing Izuku towards Tanya.
Um, what should I do? I'm not even sure I understand what happened. War didn't know who or what a Nazi was, and they've been together. Is this a Devil thing that I can't understand? Did she get kicked out? I'll have to ask her directly, right?
Izuku sat down on the couch next to Tanya. "So... How are you?"
Tanya didn't answer. She just keeps eating ice cream. Tears were still streaming down her cheek.
"Can you tell me what happened? I don't understand what's going on. I know I probably won't understand, but if I can help in any way, please let me know. Just so you know."
The two just sat there. The only sound came from the TV. Izuku tried to understand what it was all about until he realized it was about zombie Nazis in the snow. That made Izuku wonder what she thinks about it.
"I don't exist anymore."
"Heh?". Izuku turned to The Fiend. She had let go of the half-melted ice cream and was now completely embedded, except for her face where her swollen eyes and runny nose were lit up by the light from the TV.
"You saved me. I haven't said it before, but you saved me. When you called upon me, I was about to be eaten. If you hadn't invoked me, I would have..." She stopped, as if thinking about what she was going to say.
"Um, ok. It makes me feel better, but I don't know what it has to do with anything. Wouldn't you just be reborn if you died?"
"You don't understand. If it had been just about that, I would have just lost the memories of this life. But I was about to be eaten by him."
"Him?" asked Izuku, wondering if she had mentioned him before.
"Yes, him. In Hell, we have our own Number One Hero, but not in the way you would put it."
"Heh, Hell's Number One Hero?"
"Yes, The Hero of Hell. When he hears a cry for help, he comes and kills all the Devils there."
"What? But it's not a Hero, it sounds more like a..." Izuku didn't get the opportunity to finish talking, because Tanya just kept talking as if Izuku hadn't said anything at all.
"He was the one you saved me from. If it hadn't been for you, I would have been eaten. I saw the Nuclear Weapons Devil being eaten right in front of me. He had been a comrade. But even so, I didn't know what a Nuke or what Nuclear Weapons were."
That made Izuku pause. It made no sense. Tanya should know what a Nuke was. If she was hanging out with the Nuke Devil, but she didn't know it? Like how War didn't know who she was!
That's when the puzzle pieces started to fall into place, but before he could figure it out, she explained it.
"That's why he's The Hero of Hell. The Chainsaw Man has the power that if he eats a Devil, the "name" they represent will disappear from the public consciousness while erasing their physical existence. In other words, he eats their name and existence." She turned in Izuku's direction, tears streaming down her face. "He ate me, you saved me, but not my name, or my existence. In my world, I never existed."
Izuku could only sit still and let the meaning of this sink in. In her world, she no longer existed, or the Nuke Devil. And who knows how many Devils and their concepts don't exist anymore.
"Do you understand now why I so... I don't know. I didn't have these feelings before. I think the body I'm using affects me, but what can I do about it? I don't know what will happen if I die. Won't I be reincarnated? Or will I become a Devil with no name? I don't know and that... Scares me."
"Well, I don't know what to say. It's like you died, but you're alive. But still, you might be mortal now. This... It's beyond Quirks, beyond all I know. I wanted to help you feel better, but I only managed to make myself feel worse."
"No." Izuku turned to Tanya and felt a hand on his shoulder. She had come out of her nest of blankets. "I don't know why, it could be these human emotions. Anyway, this is new to me. Talking about this makes me feel better, just don't ask me how."
"Ah, I'm glad I could help," Izuku said with a smile.
Not too far away, just on the other side of the room was Inko. She hadn't heard all of what had been said because of the noise from the TV. And they didn't talk very loudly. From what she had heard, she could only get one thing out of it. "Oh my Izuku. You really know how to comfort a young lady. Just like your father."
"By the way Izuku, I figured out that I know of a Devil who is willing give you a contract. Maybe at a discount."
"Heh, seriously? Which Devil is that?".
"There's no one else a The Future Devil. And believe me when I say it, he's weird."
"Future?... Weird?"
"You'll see, I'm going to bed now," Tanya said, walking towards the bedroom. "See you tomorrow".
"Um, ok. Sleep well"... The Future Devil. Wait! Will I be able to see into the future? Like Sir Nighteye?
The street was full of people. Even though it was a school day, there were still many people shopping. But Tanya didn't really know how many people it takes for a street to get full.
Heh, that reminds me. I need to get an ID, but how should I do it? There should be an underworld here, right?
Inko had decided to take Tanya out to go shopping while Izuku was at school. She hadn't understood why Tanya had been sad yesterday, but she knew she enjoyed shopping. So they were out shopping again.
"Hey Tanya-chan, would you like some jewelry? I'm sure we can find one that matches your eye," Inko said, looking at Tanya's blue eye.
"Ney, it's not for me." Come to think of it, I'd be comfortable in a military uniform, but it's something I can't wear. "I'll let you know if I see something that interests me."
Um. Is that something Izuku needs when he summons The Future Devil? Or something that I need? Living like a human being is hard. Tanya thought about what to do. Then she saw something and stopped.
She didn't know why, but she had a feeling of something. If what she had seen had been a military uniform, she could understand that she would have reacted, but it wasn't. So why?
"Tanya-chan. Is there something wrong?" Inko had noticed that The Fiend had stopped, and now he looked at her worriedly.
Tanya tried to come up with an excuse, but she came up with something better than an excuse. A silly idea, but a fun one. And just thinking about how Izuku would react made her smile.
"Hey Miss Inko. Do you think Izuku would like it?" asked the Fiend as she pointed to the object that caught her eye.
It took the Midoriya a second to understand what she meant. At least he thought she understood what she meant. "Oh, I think he'll love it," she said with a smile.
Kaito Muguruma walked into a shop. He had run away from home to become a villain under the name Mustard. Of course, he had planned everything in detail and had a place to stay. Now all he had to do was think of something to do as his first illegal activity. But first he must get a costume.
There is a company that focuses on Cos Players and sells materials and costumes. Their main customers are those who want to dress up as heroes and anime characters. Now they're in trouble because people are now coming to them instead of going through the "underworld" black market to get equipment. So now villains go to one of the company's stores and special order a villain costume. Why? Because it's much cheaper. That's why Mustard came there.
"Let me see. If they have military uniforms, it can work. Because I'm not immune to my own gas, I have to go through Giran to get a real gas mask," he muttered to himself.
"Hands up! This is a robbery!" shouted a voice from the other side of the store.
"Oh fuck me. Why now? When I'm here?". The villain wannabe went down on the ground and crawled under the suits on hangers. But he was still visible.
Oh god, oh god. I need to find a better hiding place. The locker rooms! If I can get there, they won't be able to see me. Kaito looked around cautiously and saw that the two villains were some distance away from him. They didn't look in his direction. And they were huge! Both must have a Muten-Quirk.
Kaito quickly shrunk into a locker room. Yes! Now that I'm here, it's never going to find me.
"Hey bro. Go and check if there is anyone in the locker rooms. We can't have someone calling for a Hero yet."
Ahhhh! Why did I think they wouldn't check in locker rooms? It's such an obvious hiding place. Now they're going to find me! I have to make gas now. If I can make enough, I can nuck them out.
The villain wannabe started to create a small amount of smoke around himself, but before he could create a larger amount, something pulled open the door to the locker room.
"Hey! What do you think you're doing?" said the huge villain with the elephant's head.
"Oh shit!". Is this it? My death? I hadn't even started my villain career yet.
Elephant villian pulled Kaito out and he started screaming. He just screamed. No words, because he knew it didn't matter. He couldn't shout that he was a villain. He hadn't committed a crime yet. So it didn't matter. All he could do was hope that a Hero would come and save him.
And a hero came, but not a Pro Hero. Out of a locker room came a maid and kicked the elephant villain in the face. She was strong. It was evident from the sound of her stamping the villain's head into the ground.
"Heh, what the hell do you think you're doing?" asked an elegant yet dangerous voice.
When Kaito looked up, he saw something incredible. A Foreign Beauty with short blonde hair and a blue eye. The other eye was covered with an eye patch that perfectly matched the maid uniform she was wearing.
(da dump)
Heh, what's this feeling? Wait, I recognize this feeling from descriptions in my manga. Is this true love?
Well, it looks like Mustard has a crush on Tanya. Thanks again Shiro007 for the suggestion. I don't know how far it's going to go, but I'm sure it's going to be fun.
Why a maid uniform? How do you think Izuku will react to that? That's the only reason Tanya needs. However, she forgot how Inko might interpret it.
Now I'm going to go back to writing more on the popular pilots. I've noticed that there is only 1 story with Harry Potter and Mashle: Magic and Muscles. How? Mashle: Magic and Muscles is so inspired by Herry Potter that it's not even fun. No, that's why it's fun. But still - only one? Fanfic Authors, what the fuck?
