Well the new path starts with the new year! Technically speaking the beginning of this section starts off near the ending point of chapter 29 as that when the domino effect of changes begin , remember the () symbol to go directly to the new/different content, while not much currently after "the storm" arc passes it changes a lot more from the previous path. Month 3: Week 1: The Storm Part IV

I-City conflict: Momo, Kirishima

Momo's group and Kirishima's group had quickly made their way into I-city and could already see the giant octopus-type monster having attached itself to a large building, people were running away from the concrete that rained down below, and the heroes got to work protecting as many people as they could while death gatling tried to formulate a plan of action the monster was still mostly concerning itself with the building it was attached which was a blessing and a curse as someone informed the heroes that said building wasn't evacuated yet which meant that they needed to operate even faster with coming up with a plan of attack death gatling first immediately turned to momo to ask the girl if she had any explosions she could use to blow the creature up but to his disappointment she hadn't while she had some decent grade explosives she doubted if they could destroy the monster in its entirety but that would have to suffice for now. They all decided to make a plan to go towards the opposite side of the building. The group made their way up as Butterfly dx using his wings flew up grabbing a hold of Bone and Death-Gatling to rise to the rooftop. Momo and Kirishima soon followed him using a grappling hook to zip towards the top.

As the five of them got up there, they grimaced at the sight. The creatures' multiple limbs were wrapped around the building, but two of its larger tentacles were completely blocking the smaller ones and any access to the building itself for their plan to work. So they improvised. The first thing Death Gatling instructed was for Momo to make him a couple of spare grappling hooks so that he could get down safely from where they were, and the reason Butterfly DX couldn't do it was that he was required along with himself to distract the monster, and with that out of the way, they group separated. Bone and Kirishima jumped down towards a smaller rooftop as momo followed them with her grappling hook as they got into position and Momo crafted two cannons and signal that she was prepared the mission was a go, death gatling was the first to make his move his gatling gun revved up and unleashed a burst the bullets impacted against the side of one of the larger creatures limbs being shocked that it was completely resistant to the burst of bullets as the dust scraped off the large tentacle but it reacted much to his expectations as the creatures peered around the corner revealing a plethora of eyes around its main body, one of its large tentacles unlatched from the building and continued to make its way towards him to squash him. He hurriedly jumped out of the way, still firing off another burst to keep the monster's attention.

Butterfly DX was stricken by surprise when he rounded the corner of the building the beast was attached to and saw its many eyes looking at him but he was just barely able to avoid another large tentacle that launched out at him, he used his winged breath scale powder explosion to cover the creature and it's eyes in a gunpowder smoke before igniting said smoke causing it to explode, it didn't have much of an effect on the monster but it did surely pissed it off as he was suddenly struck by a large tentacle but as the hit connected he couldn't help but smile as he heard the sounds of multiple cannon shots in the distance and as he moved his head enough to look back at the creature he could see it begin to fall and but that was all he saw as his visions were then blacked as he crashed into a building.

The plan was successful as the cannons went off and shot off the smaller tentacles, and the creature started to fall off the building, but the cannons didn't stop there momo fired one more cannon shot that blew a hole in the side of the building. Even from the distance they were at, they could see several people were still inside the building. momo created multiple stationary ziplines before creating several grapples before sending both Kirishima and Bone forwards towards the building they got there as momo supervised the ziplines and keeping constant watch of the monster's movements it took a bit to right itself up again as it thrashed its tentacle to and fro, some of the people already started to return to her position using the zipline but she could tell some were hesitant but one smack and heavy rumble from the bottom of the building quickly got them moving as they started to on their way on the zipline as well screaming the entire time even when they sat foot on the safety of the opposite roof. Momo, using her binoculars, looked to see if any more people were coming but it didn't seem like it. someone told her that Kirishima and Bone were doing checkups on the other higher floors assuming that people on the lower floors had a chance to evacuate already but there was another shutter in the structure followed by two more as the monster finally got back up and ripped the building foundations from its structure and the stability simply followed suit collapsing.. Momo was worried for as she watched the building fall completely on top of itself, she breathed a sigh of relief that she than found two parachute slowly coming down next to the collapsing building the monster was to busy consuming said building to pay attention to them as they came down each of them carried five people along with them clinging to the two for dear life.

As they got down, the crew immediately got to work, escorting the survivors out of harm's way and into the shelters while relaying the information to death gatling, Momo could hear the rounds of his machine gun cracking over the com as he replied, signaling that he was still in combat against some other enemy, and that there were other lower-level monsters still prowling the streets below so that they should keep a watch out and avoid fighting the larger monster until they could call in for reinforcements. Momo immediately requested if she should call for drive knight assistance, but Death Gatling immediately declined that request completely before reminding her of rule one of their fields. Momo was fairly astonished by the remark and couldn't believe that he would let his dislike of the S-class bleed so much into his hero work, but she would relent for the moment at least. She didn't know where Drive Knight was at the moment, but given the state of the affair, she did not doubt that he would be in the field as well. The four of them had never linked back up with death gatling, and his radio had gone silent for some time, but they still followed his orders, ignoring the larger monster that was continuously about to enlarge while dealing more with the smaller monsters invading the city. Once they were taken care of, they decided to regroup, but Bone and Kirishima spotted something off in the distance, or rather, someone. It wasn't Butterfly DX or death gatling, but instead it was another hero, likely one of the city's normal defenders.

The man was about to be crushed by a bus that the monster flung his way, but both Kirishima and Bone were there to protect him, using their bodies to deflect the bus as it crumpled around their frame. They were about to escort the fledgling hero away, but he gestured to some of the other heroes that were with him. Their three bodies lay unconscious in the street, but they were soon getting pulled in by smaller tentacles for a moment before Momo shot them down using her sniper, making them fall back to the ground, allowing Kirishima, Bone, and the new arrival to save them, but also angering the monster completely as it started to rampage towards them while the three heroes fled over the top of their heads had shot out a canister that impacted against the creature and exploded in a large amount of tear gas, agitating the monster severely enough for it to stop following them and instead opting to rampage elsewhere.

Bone , Momo, Kirishima, and the new arrival Red Muffler were all taken to the shelter along with his unconscious comrades battery man, bun bun man, and funeral suspenders all took shelter under an walkway under a highway as they witnessed the large monsters rampage, Momo was still relatively fresh going by her watch she created 5 tons of material so far so which mean she has 75 tons left to go but she still didn't know what she could do to combat that squid monster, it's grown to such a massive size and increased its durability to the point where none of her explosions could damage it, she radioed in one more time to death gatling who surely wasn't out of the fight yet if she were to guess as she was about to call drive knight for assistance whether he wanted it or not she was cut off from her communications for a moment as she listened in on what was happening with her current party when bone suddenly decided to jump off the walkway and approach a overturned milk truck, he proceeded to drink a lot of the milk from the cartens which as kirishima explained would have the effect of boosting his bone density but surely he didn't think that would be enough would he?

Momo thought and kirishima attempted to say the same but the hero was adamant and he couldn't stop him from dropping down they didn't know much they could do as the man stepped into the open road and screamed out his bone density times five technique but as if the world was cruel the man was instantly slammed into the ground by one of the creatures large tentacles, Kirishima panicked and left cover himself to provide some help if any he could provide, he couldn't really do much to the monster himself but he still tried in some vain attempt to help his mentor, who Momo didn't know would still be alive after such an attack but kirishima wasn't going to give up until he knows for sure the man was dead as he used his focused hardening on both of his arms to the maximum creating two very sharp knives as hands that he thrusted into the monsters tentacle getting about an inch through it's thick hide before going back again and again get slightly deeper each time but apparently to the creature it was nothing more than an ant bite as it did not react at all.

Kirishima's continued thrusting ended when Momo yelled for him to clear the way and having turn back and seeing what was coming he did so jumping out of the way as death gatling death shower commenced the bullets went sailing past him and struck upon the creatures hide the small indent he made into it allowed the bullets to penetrate even deeper along with the normally faster acceleration they held when he used said move it took the nearly the entire amount but eventually the monster actually reacted to being attacked and moved his tentacle from over top of the downed hero as it turned to look at them directly kirishima used the opportunity to hurry and check if bone was ok and thankfully the man was as he breathed a sigh of relief and picked him up he was surprised that despite the attack the man could sort of get his legs under him and help kirishima with lifting him up but his arms hung loosely and his breathing was ragged and pained Momo speculated that the man likely had several broken bones all throughout his body just staving off a full body fracture. Death Gatling was laying low for the moment, taking most of the small fry monsters in the city while he waited for his reinforcements to arrive on the scene, which they did. Four more A-class heroes had joined their ranks: smile man, narcisstoic, peach cherry, chain'n'toad, and...

"Iida, you're here?" Kirishima questioned him as he went to check on his friend, as he too was out of breath. Iida was still catching his breath, as if out of thin air next to him, flash just teleported there.

"Facing a monster with such half-assed battle strength will only make the monster angry and the damage spread," Flash remarked, death gatling turned his head, his agitation clearly on his face.

"Half-assed, you say, how do you plan to fight? By yourself?" Death gatling said angrily

"Shut up and watch me. Your analysis was that of Kindergartner's level; the eyes are the weak point of any living creature," the blonde regarded dismissively.

"Well, shouldn't we work together?" Boom, the next word died as the sonic boom completely scattering the heroes present, flying towards the rubble of the buildings. Iida caught on to Kirishima, who had kept a hold of Momo as the others continued off but got up rapidly to see what was happening. None of them saw what happened after the first eye, but the man suddenly appeared right next to them again as blood started to splatter all around them. The monster had all of its eyes punctured, and a number of the large tentacles were completely cut to pieces. The only one that didn't move was Death Gatling, who stared at the scene with bitterness. But the battle wasn't over as one of the creatures' smaller tentacles attempted to stomp down on flash, but the hero dogged out of the way. The creature was in severe pain, lashing out in every direction in a desperate attempt to eat even more buildings to recover itself, but that wasn't all. All the large tentacles that flash cut to pieces also started to open up and resemble miniature forms that continued to consume the objects around them and grow bigger themselves.

"This is bad; there are even more of them now, and the bigger one is causing even more damage!" A red muffler remarked

"Shit, leave it to the S-class, alright. We have to fall back!" Death gatling remarked as everyone made their way back. He turned to see one of the largest tentacles start to come down over the top of them, but aimed his weapon and shot out all of the remaining bullets to scare the monster off. Thanks to its wounds, it allowed him to damage it enough to pull its tentacle back. Flash stayed close by insulted that the creature was still alive but before he could start to use his secret technique to wipe the thing away for good the monster started to be pulled upwards along with the miniature version of the being as it clumped up into a ball and raised straight up into the air this violent pull even ripped up more concrete and threw it into the air which the heroes below had to evade but looking up smile-man made not that the cause of the sudden phenomenon was none other than tornado of terror the creature was lifted off into the air and soon later the body was mutilated as the body started to twist and shape in on itself as she seemingly crushed the thing in her grasp like a silly putty toy, the blood spilled down on the ground blood coating the floor near them before the monster was in a nice relatively small spherical ball that dropped down in their mist.

"What are you all doing? In a time of crisis, how can you all just be doing nothing? And flash your S-class, aren't you? Take your job seriously, then!" tatsumaki ranted

"You simply stole my prey! I had the situation under control, you child! Don't think you are stronger than me!" Flash yelled back, and both S-class heroes shared a glare before Tatsumaki just turned and left, followed shortly by Flash, who turned away and started to proceed forward, remarking that Iida should hurry up and that they were leaving. Momo, Iida, and Kirishima quickly got together and discussed for a moment. Momo got Iida some water and created some ice so that Iida could cool down his mufflers just in case something happens on his travels. While Iida was feeling a mixture of emotions, he was slightly happy that Flash was upset, and he was glad that the two of them were ok. They all checked in on everyone to see what was happening or if anyone else was in trouble; they didn't see Uraraka, but the brunette confirmed she was fine, and Uraraka claims that Todoroki, Bakugo, and Midoriya were "stable" but wouldn't elaborate further on that front. Iida left shortly after, and Momo was just finished creating more ammunition for the death gatling, who, despite the monster's defeat, still seemed agitated, even more so than before if she was reading him correctly.

Given that kirishima's teacher was no longer physically able to continue fighting they simply took the man and the rest of the wounded back out to the hospital but before they could continue on with their patrol however Kirishima had gotten a message from Mizuki that told him that the shining prodiges were being deployed but the place was frankly surprising to both of them it was even more surprising that darkshine was deployed their as well and hearing that kirishima also wanted to join in the conflict and momo was the only one that could actually make that happen in a reasonable time frame with her bike although even with it, it would take them nearly 2 hours to cross the 24,140 km and the battle would likely be over by that time before she could ask drive night to release four tiers from her safety lock which would triple her speed and allow them to get there within 25 minutes, drive knight allowed it and after asking death gatling to take her leave he to also allowed although he said that they would be coming with them but they wouldn't be waiting up for them and just like phantoms all of tha A-class were off, leaving the behind while momo got her bike ready, they sure were fast here in this word she thought for a moment before her and kirishima was finally able to get into the bike and were off.

The flight towards their objective was relatively calming; nothing seemed to go wrong, and the increased speed was fairly manageable for her. Kirishima was just happy to be a part of the ride. The computer made the top part of the bike see-through so the two of them could see the skies overhead as they flew past. This time proceeded fairly quickly, all things considered. The computer let out a warning before decelerating and lowering down to the ground before switching back into her bike form. Even from this distance, she could see the scattered fighting all around the vacant cityscape. There was a large hole in the ground where monsters were seemingly pouring out, but what truly caught their attention was none other than the large black dog that was present among the smaller-level monsters. So far, it wasn't doing much of anything but waiting, but the monsters around it seemed to ooze caution when regarding it, along with the shining prodigies present.

The fighting continued to commence in such a wild spectacle of brawling versus many different things, such as claws, teeth, and fangs. The heroes were doing somewhat well, especially with the arrival of Darkshine on the field. Momo was taken aside during the conflict by one of metal knights drones he was going to attempt to use her to feed the drones materials so that they could fix the breaches inside of the building, kirishima had joined just in case some of the monsters were waiting in ambush for her down below, metal knight confirmed that their indeed were monster located down below but he doubt they would fight them, as the two approach the largest hole with the drones fixing whatever facilities they could they had run into two monsters in particular that were of note to them that decided to stay behind one of which was forest lord who looked at them as they past and the second was game-bersu he was completely fred from it's restraints and seemed to be talking with something a small black creature as it noticed them it snarled at them before kicking off and leaving both momo and kirishima prepared for a fight but the monsters wasn't interested in them as it simply grew a large arm and swatted them out of his way only saying that "gyro-gyro" has his own plans for them.

The creature crushed a couple of the drones on its way out as it escaped to the top where the fighting was, and almost exactly after the emergence of the black creature, another rumble shook the building, this time tearing another hole in one of the outer walls and running back upstairs. They were surprised to see Darkshine getting up from being knocked down and wondered what could have possibly done such a thing. But though the wall came to another light source, Kirishima tried to react as quickly as possible when darkshine simply stood they're watching the attack coming but between the two of them they could likely take it but momo sure couldn't she didn't have an impossible hard body or a body hardening quirk so she was vulnerable she crafted a large shield to protect herself but going off the how it melted through the very association walls he doubted that it would hold up so he moved to cover her himself on top of it but…he tripped and at that moment he was filled with an immense sense of panic as he believed that his friend was going to die in front of him he could only get a grab a hold of her feet as the blast connected with a reverberating crash of explosion as he expected he was fine but what he cared about was if momo was ok..god he hoped so but he was shocked and elated to see that his friend was alright she was just fine? But that wasn't all she hardened but not only her, but the shield she created as well. Was that her awakening? He thought for a moment, but as he lifted his arm off her foot, the hardened skin simply peeled off and fell to the floor. Kirishima looked at his hand with amazement before looking towards Momo, who was equally surprised but ignoring that amazement. For now, Kirishima turned to see if Darkshine was ok, and after a moment of worry when the man didn't call out or say anything to him, Darkshine soon stepped out of the shadowy tomb where he found himself, and while unharmed, he still looked down at himself, almost as if mystified by something, but he seemingly snapped out of it and went back out through the whole that he came in from.

After fixing the holes inside, Kirishima made his way back outside along with Momo, who had fairly tired herself in her efforts to help Metal Knight rebuild the prison systems, needing 35 tons of stuff to fully fix it, leaving her with only 40 tons of material to spare before she was utterly tapped out. Luckily enough, the fight was over by the time they came out again. Several monsters were killed, but some were captured. The A-class hero had arrived sometime after they had entered as well, but the large black dog and small black creature from inside were also gone. The fight was over, the battle was won, and now they only needed to take care of the wounded and hope that the worst had already passed.

V-city rescue: Zombieman, Silver Chain, Jackie, Sigismund, Toru, Tokoyami

The day started fairly simple for Tokoyami and Toru. While it was no longer necessary to do their traditional meeting point, it was still near the bomb's dojo, but instead of going inside the dense forest that surrounded his dojo, zombies would simply wait at the edge of it for them to arrive. While he took care of matters of his own, Tokoyami would drop Toru off at the hospital to say hi to her boyfriend while he would either simply go straight to the zombieman's location or, if he was training Sigismund at the time, he would take the time to patrol by themselves while it had its own set of dangers. They didn't approach monsters of any higher threat level then tiger, which coincidentally started to happen much more lately, or in its stead, no monster at all would appear. Sigismund would definitely need a partner in the event that he decided to become a hero. The first main point was that in actual combat, his ability, or rather monsterfication, left his normal body vulnerable to attack, making it a big weakness for him. Another weakness was that his monsters were only allowed a set distance from the body until they simply could not move forward anymore. The distance grew from previously to about 100 meters, but that just brought him into his next problem. The actual monsters he doesn't control while most of them were indifferent. In many of the situations that he went through, some were a bit more tricky than others. Shadowman wasn't much for proactive fighting; he was more of a reactive fighter; he didn't want to fight unless his host was endanger or could be in danger, which drew the two at odd when it was his day and he wanted to go on patrol, but Tokoyami continued to emphasize how the two of them should compromise and that besides, it would allow him days off as his parents still wanted him to pursue his education after all, although he needed to receive private instruction from hero association verified instructors just for safety sake.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, there was Amaterasu, or if he remembers right, Sol. The lion wanted to change her name when she figured out what the sun was and went with one of the "dead" languages versions of it since it sounded the coolest. The lion was already ready for a fight anytime it truthfully got the chance, and it cared very little for its host life, whether that be because of its lack of care or just a battle craze. They didn't know very much, but at least it could be reasoned with, like Dark Shadow and Shadowman, shining light, and Sol got along rather well together, even if the lion monster mostly just wanted to fight all the time to pass the time. Taking her out on patrol was rather simple enough; it just needed to keep Sigismund extra safe. The other monster was more hit or miss when operating out in the field the strongest one was a demon even higher than the likes of himself and shining light in her base state it was a dragon type but it seemed indifferent to about anything happening around it and would mostly just lounge around even when manifested he didn't care what they named him so they just decided on dragon lord until something better appeared or the creature wanted to be called something, the weakest monster was a large naga type creature that they called apopthis this creature while the weakest was the most violent and would kill anything it deemed their enemy while it was protective of its host it was purely out of the idea of its own survival and while it did somewhat enjoy combat like the sol it was crueler and mercy or capture was seldom an option this even included criminals to as which left things very complicated on patrols.

The other two monsters on the list were a large wolf monster that he would have liked to call Fenrir, but the two of them opted for the name Rengar. Rengar was essentially a mix of Sol and Shadowman, while the monster also liked to fight and cared for its host. Out of all the monsters, it was undoubtedly the most "normal," being calm and reasonable, along with being understanding, getting a baring of the situations before doing anything, and following instructions.

The last monster was the second strongest but it was completely the most chaotic she was in the simplest terms a tanuki thankfully it wasn't exactly one-to-one with its myth counterparts having large testicles but given that it was female it did have a fairly large bust in its stead although it didn't flaunt this off very often after it manifested unless it was trying to get a rise out of Tokoyami in particular, it had a unique ability to transform into basically anything it's seen before even people but when doing so the transformation was always noticeably off from the original in some ways or another, but the tricky thing about her was that she was a fairly big prankster and that was putting it lightly as sometimes her pranks involve directly endangering her host or just adding more chaos to a situation that was currently at hand and to that end they named her eris after the greek god of discord and strife.

The strength of the monster progressed naturally through the week, getting stronger and stronger until Saturday. On Sunday, things took a wild turn for Sigismund because all of his monsters would be able to manifest and therefore speak to him, which meant that he would have six different voices in his head at all times, which was draining on the small teen. He never felt like doing much on those days besides sleep, which before he couldn't, but now that they had a place for his monster to go free, he could at least be somewhat relieved of their constant bickering and comments. The monsters were tolerant of each other enough; Eris mostly kept trying to tempt Dragon Lord to do anything, but that was a failing battle; Rengar and Sol would mostly fight amongst each other; and despite him being formed on Thursday and Wednesday, the fights usually just amounted to draws, which suggested to Tokoyami that Rengar was likely holding back on the tiger to spare its feelings.

Given the day of the week sigismund was with his parents for the day so that left Tokoyami to just go and visit and pick up zombieman instead, as he landed down they both exchanged a greeting before getting down to business and this was mostly directed towards this mysterious monster group that they have been getting clues of recently the fact that the dragon level monster elder centipede was apart of the mix was somewhat troubling two dragon level monster maybe even more given that the monster(s) up on the mountain was also a dragon they couldn't rule out the possibility of other dragon monsters whether that be they were outright created or joined of their of their own free will and that fact truly frightened Tokoyami whom briefly mentioned the fact that even one dragon level monster took multiple S-class to defeat but zombie man simply shook his head stating that he shouldn't believe about all that junk the association says about disaster level and the corresponding hero response he doubted tatsumkai would have struggled with the monster they faced on the mountain and the fight was only a drag on the mountains side mainly due to the fact that metal bat wanted to fight the monster one on one after the genos was taken out, darkshine was able to handle the monster fairly easily by himself. Tokoyami was fairly surprised by that fact, but he wondered if the hero was just attempting to ease his worries; he didn't seem like the type to do so from how long he knew the man, so maybe he was telling the truth. The greater concern about that was troubling him however was if the facts did line up and this secret monster base was located in Z-city inhabited zone then that hero saitama or caped baldy as he was called in the hero registry based his home he found it completely unlikely that a movement of so many creatures would go unnoticed this should go doubly for his so-called apprentice genos or demon cyborg that was in the S-class that joined the association exactly when he did and Tokoyami already could predict where this line of dialogue was heading towards as he questioned if he believed that the two of them were traitors and zombie merely smirked and nodded his head in response he's been sharing his information with Child Emperor and that was the conclusion that he was led. zombieman himself believed that he was jumping the gun a bit but he was a scientist so it was reasonable that he would want to air on the side of caution which he couldn't blame the kid for.

Tokoyami asked for the hero's thoughts about the matter, and Zombieman shrugged while blowing out a puff of smoke before scratching the back of his head. He didn't know where his opinion lay; if the evidence they gathered indeed proved correct, then why wouldn't such movements have been reported? The subterranean king was just as strong as the deep sea king on that device, but according to the device, he also showed up earlier than either. Genos was present and fought the deep-sea king and lost. If he defeated a creature of similar power previously, why would he struggle to fight another monster of similar power? Also, if he did beat that monster, why did he not recall it? He was at least part machine-correct, and the data had to come from somewhere, right? zombieman offered but Tokoyami knew the hero was leaving out another possibility to the question so he voiced it for him that the data for the monster could have come from caped baldy alternatively and the hero nodded that would solve a few of the issues but in that case this supposed B-class well actual C-class at the time would have been able to take out a demon level monster and firstly not brag about it or report it and secondly must have been so casually that he didn't even remember the conflict as it was so beneath him as he knew the S-class felt that way facing most demon level threats well besides him and puri-puri prisoner, they were the physically weakest of the S-class so even some demons could give them trouble from time to time.

Tokoyami countered by saying that he heard from a friend of his, the forest lord, that several of the S-class were originally down in the lower ranks as well, and this may very well be a similar case. Zombieman considered that for a moment, but that was what the hero association examinations were for; they completely re-evaluated and adjusted the parameters of the test to account for such people. He countered that his two friends and the man's very apprentice himself also joined directly into the S-class, so why wouldn't he have? Zombeman questioned, and for that, Tokoyami simply had no answer. If the man was as remarkable as Bakugo claimed he was, then he should have been allowed into the S-class or at least the upper A-class; something was indeed amiss with him. Zombieman let out a sigh before concluding that they simply needed more data on the person in question, which was the prime reason he was going to spend the day patrolling around Z-city to see him in action and see what he was like, and Tokoyami nodded. After that conversation, it was about time for them to go and pick up Toru from B-City Hero Hospital, but instead of flying over to B-City, the three of them opted to instead take the train so Zombie Man could collect his thoughts. Toru didn't have much to add to the conversation they were having, not knowing the bald man or the cyborg at all, so things were in relative silence as they traveled.

Toru would take the down time to try and talk to Tokoyami about his crush on Asui but he would deny it and given his anatomy and lack of body language she couldn't tell if anything she said was getting to the dark teen or not but shinning light had discretely whispered to her some advice on reading his head feathers and watch how they swish and change to tell his mood and she realized that she was indeed getting to the teen at least partially but before she could imply even more teasing remarks suddenly the train that they were on shifted and shook and slowly came to a complete stop the light went completely out and soon after several rumblings started to occur making Toru freak out and while the other two simply looked at her skeptically and after recovering enough she also tried to deflect that shinning light was also scared so they shouldn't only look at her funny either, the spirit made itself visible and while she didn't comment Tokoyami did see a noticeable shiver run through her frame similar to Dark Shadow with his fear of lights she was scared of a lot of darkess in fact their new normal mode of travel was flying to avoid such issues and to get him more used to it so he didn't doubt that shinning light was a bit apprehensive about the current situation but only expressed it verbally in saying that, she would have preferred to fly instead.

Luckily for them, Toru was there so she could partially light up the space with light, allowing everyone to see within the darkness of the small train cart. At first, Toru and Tokoyami were simply content with their being a simple error or hold-up on the station, but Zombieman wasn't so sure. In all his time as a hero, he's never seen any time something metal knight created malfunction or mess up before, and while he wasn't saying the man was infallible or something that rumbling from before seemed to indicate that there was more to it, almost as if to answer his query. The cart that they were in started to violently rumble again, shaking as if the very earth started to shake, and it very well likely was soon enough that a dent was seen and a hard bang was heard at the bottom of their cart, making all of them look down to where the source was. This bang started to increase not only in speed but also in strength as the floor started to dent upwards. Toru was fairly creeped out but still maintained her light to see but focused it largely on the noticeable bump that drew up from the floor as the bang continued. The zombieman gestured for them to stand back away before the floor.

Whatever came up out of the floor before its head was unceremoniously popped open by the round of zombieman desert eagle, the muzzle flash briefly lit up the hole the monster was attempting to come through, revealing even more monsters coming up from behind it, and zombieman responded by simply letting bullets rain downwards into the hole, shredding through the monsters coming up, but that wasn't all. The very walls of the cart started to bang before suddenly the wall behind Toru was pierced by several tendrils wrapping around the girl, shining light reacted dashing forwards and bisecting said tendrils before they could do anything Toru quickly left the walls as more breaches started to happen around the cart as claws, tentacles, and whatever bloated appendage started to seep through the right side it looked like it was about to burst but there was a large holting scream and suddenly the bloated appendage started to simply leave out from the hole it made and a number of the things on the side of the cart simply started to retreat as well even the monster in the hole zombieman were shooting inside of suddenly start to retreat but in that case, they could understand not wanting to die from being shot given that zombieman had a surprising number of magazines within his trench coat.

As the attack seemingly ceased, there was more rumbling. Zombie Man made the inquisitive decision that they needed to exit the cart immediately, but given that they were underground, it would suggest being buried by gravel and dirt if they made a hole, but he believed that they should take that chance, and on the fact that the monster themselves were tunneling, which suggests that the way out was probably already dug for them, after switching magazine types and gathering everyone to a certain wall, and then firing the bullet left the chamber in an explosive degree of power and hit the side of the wall before exploding it into dust and fragments. allowing them to see the railway, and true to his word, along the railway were a number of holes that lead up towards the surface.

As they could see sunlight suddenly peering through the dark area, the only lights were the red flashes of emergency equipment as multiple small robotic drones attempted to fix the damage done or were completely smashed beyond repair by the monsters that passed through. Given that the railway was blocked by debris, the group's only way out was to use the holes dug out by the monsters, but most of them were only small enough to fit one of them at a time. Not wanting to leave anyone behind, they all decided to take a separate hole. Tokoyami dawned his golden fleece and flew up and into the hole, while Toru used her light manipulation to create a circle under her that would thrust her upwards and outside. Zombie Man alternatively used his grappling hook and climbed through.

The first to make it up top was Tokoyami; they were in the middle of Z-city and could already tell that something was amiss as numerous black smokes rose into the air. The two of them, then received a message from the association talking about the state of emergency, the two of them looked at each other for a moment before waiting patiently for zombieman to arrive above ground it took the hero much longer than they did and they soon found out why when he came out of the hole in the ground with blood drenched all over his trench coat and his swords covered in the stuff as well they couldn't tell which amount was his or someone else's but given his healing factor they ignored it for now, he apparently already knew about the situation as he closed to the surface and had gotten contacted by the hero association, he was more surprised by the fact that both of them were unharmed and had made it out without facing any monsters in their path but he let it slide for now as he was tasked with assisting V-city and with that out of the way the three of them were off having Tokoyami fly them all the way their as fast he could go, zombieman would normally run but given all the monster around he would inevitably be caught up in the some scuffle delaying him.

Toru only typed to their friends as they traveled the distance was just over 16,000km so Tokoyami would get their normally in about 30 minutes more precisely being 26 minutes but shining light was faster than Dark Shadow was when in the air combined with the height they were flying at which increased her speed the higher she was meant they they would get their within 20 minutes which still left her with things to do while in transit other than create a dome of light around herself so she wasn't just completely jostled or messed with by the air pressure of flying that fast even though zombieman seemed unaffected although he was still mildly annoyed that he couldn't pop a smoke with how fast they were going Toru looked over the city they were passing and was worried about her friends and boyfriend he said that he was doing fine but she really didn't know anymore and than she thought about Jackie and what she was doing while the girl was probably slightly better than her in martial arts and she had her light bending abilities to also fall back on and Tokoyami and Zombieman..she was just a civilian she really hopes that she would be ok.

The three of them finally arrived to V-city but before the three of them entered into the city, they had a talk, Zombieman wanted to confirm with them the message the association had sent out about how they weren't exactly taking prisoners and what they would do with that information now both teens didn't really have an answer for the man in this regard zombieman just let out a simple sigh he wasn't going to force them to kill anyone nor was he dumb enough to tell them to just sit down in a time of crisis not that they likely would follow that command in the first place which they both agreed with so instead he told them that they needed to find a place to store the monsters they captured while he wasn't one to disobey an order he also wasn't one dumb enough to ignore potentially dozens of potential intelligence opportunities the monster will likely have, Tokoyami correctly guessed that the hero assumed that this attack has to be from those of that group of monsters they were deliberating about, and Zombieman nodded at that. He didn't expect to learn too much from the monsters they captured if the leader of this group of creatures were smart, that is, they would likely send out the grunts first, but there could be a few diamonds in the rough or organizers if you will to direct the madness going on around.

The two understood and with that they were on their way, the first thing they did other than rescuing people and escorting them to shelters was try to come up with an idea of where they could contain the monsters that piqued their interest for now most of the monsters they encountered were wild and feral none of them could even speak and attacked things indiscriminately and were put down just as indiscriminately by zombieman who had an idea of where they could potentially store monsters, he leads the teens through the ravaged part of a city and where they came upon a bank not just any bank mind you one that was funded by the association itself this was where most of their money would be located or transferred through there was one located in every city and due to its importance, it was one of the most heavily built which could be seen by the destroyed or damaged structures around it.

They entered the building and upon seeing the S-class hero the citizens inside were immediately relieved believing that the worst of the storm was over but he couldn't quite relieve them just yet as things were still going on outside he only told them that he needed to rent out their vault real quick for some prisoners and despite the reluctance of all the staff there, they eventually gave in and gave them access they needed to clear things out a bit so that the monsters didn't trash or damage the money inside but after testing things out himself he was sure that the vault could probably hold a couple of tiger level monsters or so and with their prison secured he split off from them and relied on Tokoyami's judgment in the monsters he would capture and so that the two groups could do what they did best.

Toru was initially confused by the remark as they parted ways, but Tokoyami explained that he enjoys events like this combat that causes rivers of blood to spill, and this was such an occasion, and Toru shivered at the thought that someone they were training under seemed so chill. Tokoyami merely nodded in reply; he understood that everyone had their inner darkness. He and Toru quickly got to work helping other people throughout the city while simultaneously keeping an eye out on some key important monster figures that they could verify in the crowd. Unfortunately, that was much easier said than done. A lot of the monsters were mostly feral, seemingly lacking any type of thought process, but they started to find a pattern while there existed monsters that would just boldly attack anything. There were certain monsters that had objectives of their own, as they would ignore fleeing civilians or people unless they literally bumped into them.

These monsters were seemingly targeting the heroes themselves, and it was undoubtedly a planned assault as the monster would usually counter the heroes' abilities, leading them to be on the ropes a lot of the time before Tokoyami and Toru went to help out while they couldn't save many of the creatures that attacked the heroes, as many of the heroes affected were extremely vengeful and were more than willing to kill the assaulting monsters, but they did manage to capture at least one of them and take them back to the bank after having knocked the creature out. With this information secured, they were able to easily coordinate with other heroes around them and locate some of the higher-ranking monsters of the invasion.

Toru was partially surprised when she found that clown girl from before in the city. She was under assault by a number of monsters, ranging from a number of things to these creatures, but they all had a similar theme in that they could produce sonic screams from their mouths that completely defined the area around them. the monsters must have assumed that she fights with hearing and that fighting like that would confuse her and while it did initially when she pulled up her blinder and revealed her eyes the monster were shocked and than dead soon after as the hero started to attack in full force juggling her tools between all five monsters the only thing that spared the sixth monster from another painful death was shining light protecting it and the creature was almost relieved to see them and gave up without much more of a tussle as the two of them now with Twin Tails in toe took the monster to the impromptu jail that they set up, they could attempt to take another monster prisoner but zombieman being their and having captured another monster himself suggested that they shouldn't three tigers level threats are likely the only thing the vault could really hold.

The four of them got together outside of the bank and were soon joined by shadow ring. The women who had come on behest of the association brought with her were a couple of the rated heroes as well. Most of them were B-rated and with the extra manpower they were able to more properly spread out through the city when it came down to liberating the last town and where the outbreak initially started things were stranger in the fact that the entire town was clouded in a completely dark bubble of darknesses they couldn't see into it and once inside they couldn't see outside of it, it was curious because Toru likened it to her light manipulation but just on a massive scale to cover a whole town zombieman questioned would the girl be able to counter it and after a moment of trying she said that she couldn't as she was receiving push back from places inside zombieman asked for details on that matter in particular and after attempting again she felt push back from four different places one was obviously in the center of the circle, one in the center of the circle, one in the southern region, one in the northern region, and one in the western region.

Tokoyami pondered why he would want to know that, and Zombieman explained, given that this shadow barrier was only erected for this certain spot, that whatever was inside of it must not like the sun very much, and whatever it was must have been strong to demand such effort to be carried out for it, so to be cautious, they might as well bring the lights back, which would also add to the benefit of people inside being able to find their way out if they were survivors to speak off, he added in grimace.

So after a moment of waiting for some reinforcements that this time came in the form of Silver Chain, the groups decided to split up and divide their forces. Zombieman would go off alone to handle the farthest point to the north; the two ninjas would handle the point toward the south. Everyone else, mainly Twin Tails, Tokoyami, and Toru, with the support of three B-rated heroes, would handle the west. During the process, Toru made note of how it was a shame that Dark Shadow wasn't present as he would likely thrive during such an operation, but Tokoyami wasn't worried; he's been practicing and experimenting with his new awakening and found that he could indeed swap between them at least once a day, although they wouldn't be as strong as they were naturally if it were night or day, respectively. So with that sorted and out of the way heroes made their way inside the dark orb and the first thing they realized it was dark extremely dark the lights of the town were completely out and they had to depend on their natural vision, the ninja girls and zombieman remarked that it wouldn't be an issue as they were used to working in such climates and for their group they had Twin Tails to be their guide them around she knew the city from and back due to her disability, she only asks people watch for scattered ruble that she may trip over and in the worst case scenario there was Toru which could be everyone's light although that would inevitably bring a lot of attention to them in the dark environment.

The group scattered and went to follow their objectives, slowly but surely making progress within the dark town. They could see the devastation the monster brought to the town, with destroyed and broken homes and businesses and loose debris scattered everywhere. Dark Shadow was in point, clearing a path for Twin Tails and the rest to walk unimpeded, but something was strange for him. Tokoyami noted, and likely everyone else knew as well, that there were no bodies scattered about in any of the rubble they passed or on the street. Even when they saw blood, no bodies were found, which made a number of them start to worry. They continued on slowly until they heard screaming, and that's when things kicked into gear for a number of the heroes. They encountered a mob of seemingly human people banging on a door to a restaurant that held several people inside of it. Twin Tail reacted by first throwing one of her hidden tools, making one of the angry mobs outside drop downwards as the ball hit and ruptured his skull before bouncing back to her. Before Toru could exclaim about what the hero was thinking, the mob of "humans" turned around to show that... They weren't humans at all, well, not anymore, as a number of them had mortal wounds on them combined with dry blood on their clothes. They were… those are zombies! One of the b-rated heroes exclaimed, scared.

The horde of zombies ran towards them... at the pace of a snail. After the brief shock quickly faded, it turned into disbelief at how slow the creatures were. Toru was kind of disappointed in that fact as they slowly shambled towards them. Tokoyami merely suggested that if a zombie were to exist, it would logically be more realistic for them to move this way given the rapid decay of the muscles and nerves that cause movement, along with the lack of brain activity to correctly send pulses to move. The fight was incredibly one-sided, and the heroes quickly made short work of the zombies before proceeding to the people inside the restaurant. There were around 40 people inside, a mixture of women, kids, men, and the elderly. With them in tow, they obviously couldn't just progress; instead, they opted to split apart even more. This time, Toru and the B-rated heroes will lead the people out while escorting them out of the place, while Twin Tails and Dark Shadow continue on their own.

Toru lit the path for everyone to follow as quickly as she could making detour to save as many people as they could thankfully the light that she admitted from herself must have been harmful to the monster inside or they weren't as many as she thought they be as the group wasn't attacked as they back tracked their group of 40 people soon amassed to nearly 200 as they finally met a certain edge of the circle but something seemed amiss seeing as the barrier seemed to have fallen back from the initial spot it was at which suggested to her that the being maintaining it were being defeated she thought, Toru worrying about her friend left the civilians with the rated heroes leaving hammer head in charge of the people while she ran back inside the shrinking dark dome, she quickly retraced her steps before meeting back up with Tokoyami, and Twin Tails she was surprised to see that they stood over a defeated large fat monster along with several more zombies but these were somewhat mutated with large extended arms or legs. They assumed the zombies were from the monster, along with the disturbance she felt, and Toru attempted to manipulate the field as well before halting. While she did feel less strain, there was still something close by, so the three of them started to continue forward.

As they continued, Twin Tail noted a mysterious fragrance in the air and remarked that they should at least do something to mitigate risk that it was also a part of an enemy attack, so the two obliged to create a barrier of light and darkness around their noses before continuing forward. Toru remarked that she didn't know Tokoyami had his nose in the area above his beak and he simply responded that his hair hides it well, and he simply nodded. The three continued onwards and their they encountered skeleton figures they were garbed in nothing but makeshift armor plating from the surrounding rubble, the group of them quickly dispatched and then moved past them and on to the next threat this one was a stranger person well at least to them the monster appeared differently to the beholder making them appear like their ultimate fantasy person which was supposed to disarm the monsters opponent preventing them from striking her but Twin Tail was unaffected by the visual spectacle because of her blind fold allowing her to strike the monster without care.

Dark Shadow who was also unaffected the by the creatures powers struck out as well even begrudgingly to Tokoyami himself which spoke to the potency of the monster effect, Toru didn't even attack but she did defend Twin Tail when she was about to be hit by flying debris by the monster, after it was dead the wall of darkness shrunk even more before going even further past them highlighting that the other groups were making progress. The three of them continued forward again, this time towards the center, as that's where they are supposed to meet up with the other squads. Along the way, given the absence of darkness, a lot of people in hiding started to come out. Toru quickly told them the street they could find the others in, and they all soon started moving out that way.

They understood that things were likely to get more difficult as they progressed towards the center and they were right previously when the main monster was protected by just rather weak monsters that Twin Tail speculated might have been originally citizens of the town, this time around the creatures were fairly difficult requiring all three of them to take out two of them, these monster were a blood red with large almost demon-like with wicked blades and spike tongues, the only positive side was that Toru being a walking flashlight was a gift for them as it seemed Zombieman guessed correctly that they were weak to light, this allowed them to get in opening shots and attacks and ultimately defeat them. But the area of darkness started to recede even further towards their position, which meant the other heroes were also winning and should soon join them in the center of the town. They at first wanted to just lay low and wait for the other teams to engage first, given how difficult the guards were, but they were soon thrust into action in the fight by the prime monster itself. This creature did not attack them outright but made itself none to them first, whether that be due to its confidence or having seen them fight, they didn't know or rather care for that matter.

The monster was a surgical mist type of monster; its very being was shrouded in a dark cloud that hid its true form as its body. All that was discernible was its many limbs and fragments sticking out, such as arms, legs, and even heads, some of which even looked fresh as the last look on their faces before their tragic end with the monster was still ever present. The monster was fairly terrifying to look at, but that didn't stop the heroes from progressing forward. Tokoyami took up the lead role in this fight, unleashing Dark Shadows Ragnarok and launching out with a fleeting blow. The large punch was countered by one of the monster creature's own darkness-harness ligament, forcing Tokoyami back before summoning even more fists and raining them down on Tokoyami's main body. Dark Shadow quickly zoomed towards his partner, including him within himself and taking the damage to but also combining into their dark ankh: Juggernaut in this form, Dark Shadow enshrouded Tokoyami inside of himself, protecting him and reversing their dynamic entirely.

This large form was about 40 feet tall but left him more rigid in his form. Tokoyami lashed out with massive claw swipes at the monster, which it blocked with two of its large arms while countering with his other six, sending him flying backwards, but before the monster could follow up with more, Toru was there in the middle. Now that Tokoyami was clear, she could unleash her light refraction technique and disturb its movement. She saw that the monster was actually being burned by the light, but it wasn't enough as one of its murky shrouds launched one strike aimed right at her. Twin Tails were there for her defense, using her hidden tools to deflect it away before grabbing the girl and carrying her out of the way of one of the creature's massive hands.

The battle continued like this for some time. Tokoyami and Dark Shadow were essentially the main forces to draw the monster's attention, while Toru would look for an opening to use her light attacks on the monster. Twin Tail kept her safe, but a piercing howl and the arrival of another monster creature stopped them. This one was completely red and full of dark purple flames. Its eyes screamed with anger and hate, but its body was badly injured; it was missing an arm and was bleeding profusely. The shadow monster ignored it for a time and "didn't want help." but when the other creature started to bud in it left it no choice, it absorbed the wounded fire demon and grew even larger in size the dark smoke around it's body grew thick with purple fire that even burned Dark Shadow upon contact, the saving grace was that the others also started to arrive and such as the ninja followed closely behind by zombieman the fight dragged on as neither side could score a direct fatal damage to the other mostly due to the monster being seemingly impervious to physical deaths as Silver Chain and zombieman should have killed it several times over when one cut it in half and the other shot it in the head multiple times.

The only guaranteed things that showed irrecoverable damage was Toru's light based attacks which got zombieman thinking of a plan it was fairly simple that they needed to get rid of the darkness dome surrounding them but the things was obviously creating the barrier and it would move around where he went so they needed Toru to simply burst through it but she believed said task would likely be impossible for her but after some inspiring words from all of the girls present she decided to at least try and do it, she wasn't going to be performing the task alone either, she crafted some weapons made of light that the heroes could use to fight back and Tokoyami had swapped back to using shinning light as well it was his job to get the final blow once the lights returned as it was nearing noon and his partner would be at their strongest.

So with the plan set into action Toru sat down for a minute within to concentrate and manipulate the barrier, she wasn't receiving nearly as much push back as before and could slowly start opening up gaps in the dome but these gaps would quickly be filled right back up as the monster turned it's attentions to it, but that was what they wanted so ther others can strike out given the immense concentration she had to focus on even opening up the barrier Toru could only conjure up four weapons for the heroes and they likely would shatter or break upon the first attack but they only needed to one time to frighten the monster enough to lose concentration and that is exactly what happened as the monster jumped away from the deadly weapons of light that focused all of its concentration.

This allowed Toru to briefly open up the skies above casting sunlight directly above the creature that recoiled as it burned away, Tokoyami and shining light wasted no time combing together and pulling the artemis bow from her back and charging up an astral arrow shot that soared through the skies…..only to miss it's target as the sun evaporated the smoke around the monster it's body was smaller than they had anticipated so the shot was off, the monster laughed as the darkness slowly accord towards it to block the sun again but it's was cut short as suddenly it was split through the head by that very same arrow Toru had used her light deflection to redirect the light based arrow back on target the creature wasn't dead however as it still began to move as it's body continued to burn away but Tokoyami activated his prometheus enshrouded him in glowing gold flames that burn brighter and brighter as he flew higher in the sky and delivering a charge attack he called olympus flame that complete split the monster in half and made it's burns even more severe as it slowly burned away into nothingness.

Tokoyami was like a bright beacon in the sky that the heroes had won, and anyone still alive had come out to witness his landing along with the other survivors that they had previously ushered off into safety. The crowds gathered and gave the heroes an ovation of applause and thanks for saving them, and while they basked in the praise, Tokoyami and Toru could still see that some in the crowd wore sad faces, an indication of those that couldn't have been saved. With the situation handled for now, the worry of the two teens came back in full force, thinking about their friends and wondering if they were okay. ZombieMan noticed this and gave them the go-ahead to leave and help out elsewhere while he handled the interrogation of the monsters they captured, likely heading towards W-city to see if there wasn't any assistance he could offer them. Silver Chain reported on their victory and soon retreated back towards O-city as well. Tokoyami could imagine where Toru wanted to stop by first and was not surprised when she said she wanted to go to B-city, but he was surprised that she didn't want to go to the hospital where her boyfriend was, but instead she wanted to go to another area where a friend of her was instead Jackie in fact, and he did so, taking her to, surprisingly, an orphanage, and Toru told him not to tell the others about it as they landed. Thankfully, the place seemed ok.

There didn't seem to be much fighting going around, maybe a few monsters scattered here and there on the street but overall ok and Toru was surprised to see that Fred was also there with Jackie and the two welcomed her and discussed what happened. Toru remarked to Tokoyami that he could go and that she would just meet up with Ojiro, but despite the situation, she still teases him about going down to meet Tsu, and while his feathers ruffled at that, he shook his head and replied that he would follow her example and go and check up on his protege. He was closer after all, and it was a shining light that added that he would go and check on Tsu after, which Toru chuckled at but nodded her head in confirmation. As Tokoyami headed over towards Z-city, he tried to remember what day it was, and thankfully it was Tuesday, which meant that Shadowman would be his chosen monster. That meant that at the very least he should be okay; stronger monsters weren't targeting civilians only heroes, and mostly the upper-class ones at that, and Shadowman, while being the second weakest of his monsters, was still a tiger-level threat in his own right.

When they initially got down there, it was somewhat comforting to see that both he and his parents were doing fine. Their house door was broken into, but given the monster's cat things on the ground and outside the doorway and none of the blood inside the house, they didn't get inside. Upon stepping foot down, he was instantly greeted by the shadowman, and thankfully, the creature didn't attack him and only allowed him entry and showed him where the family had hidden away. The family was completely relieved to see that Tokoyami was there, and they allowed their son to wake up from his forced nap. The boy instantly ran up and hugged Tokoyami, thanking him for coming even though he hadn't done anything. The parents explained that they didn't go to a shelter when they heard the sirens, given what their son was, and he understood. Tokoyami didn't know if it was clear enough to call it safe yet, so instead of having them hold up on their own, he would take them to a shelter and take the boy with him so that there wouldn't be any problems. The parents were still hesitant, as any parent should be, but they were slightly relieved when he said they would be headed to Q-city next, and after dropping them off, that's where they went all the while Tokoyami qued Sigismund on what was happening to the entire continent it seemed.

Poison at the heart of Y-city: Child Emperor, Pig god, mina, sato

Sato after spending some time in the gym with his usual crew was pleasantly surprised to go and explore Y-city it was one of the first times he actually stepped foot in the large city and he wanted to see what it was like going off of mina's and Jiro's description of it, the largest place she been to was Child Emperors lab but she was surprised by just how large the place was when he arrived as he entered into the place he was greeted by none other than mina well to be more precisely he was greeted by mina who was currently in the midst of being carried away like luggage away from a certain area and he could imagine just what type of area it was as Child Emperor made a remark to staying away from that place and that she was bothering him in the midsts of his work. Over there course of their time mina had been showing the guys mostly kaminari,sero, and Kirishima photos of Child Emperor's biggest project brave giant the small genius never really left the place because he was constantly working on it and she would give updates on what the suit would look like, seeing it in the picture just wasn't doing it justice to see how cool it looked in person. He could sort of see why Mina was so enamored with the project but he was just a bit more tolerant of the scientist's wishes letting the spectacle wash over him for a moment before going over and seeing what his pink friend was doing other than annoying the child hero.

The girl informed him that her and her mentor forte was on break for a moment leaving her with nothing to do for the next five or so minutes but now that he was here she suggested some ideas the one that caught his attention most however was some potential upgrades to his gear although he didn't want to pester the scientist given he seemed to be busy although now that he thought about it some upgrades couldn't be so bad, he never really thought of upgrading his suit before but with his new version of how he activates his power he always had the nagging feeling of worry about when he would run out of pills at the wrong time unfortunately for him he seemed to have been speaking his thoughts out loud and mina overheard him before rushing off back towards the small scientist to tell him of his problem although he was sure she was just using him as an excuse to allow her to get a closer look and despite his hesitance he allowed as he made his way over as well the thing was massive and looked straight out of an anime he couldn't belive it and he could only imagine the thing in motion.

Despite being hard at work on the robot behemoth he decided to go along with their request even though insisted that it doesn't really have to be worked on now or currently as to not distract the hero from his work the child hero was happy to oblige he stated that he could use the break from the complex mechanisms of brave giant and could work on something different for a change, especially something so "simple" he remarked casually as he brought sato along with him for a moment but just as mina was about to sneak back she was caught by one of the dogman bots which carried her along with them.

The task was simple Child Emperor remarked because he simply needed to know the volume of the container and the weight of the sugars balls within it, similar to the age-old question of how many marbles are within a given jar so with that explanation he whipped up a quick watch like device that went along his right wrist along with a belt that held containers for his capsules and once he placed the full container within them the numbers of sugar balls was revealed to him on said watch it was only an estimate based upon the weight so there was a possibility that it could be confused if something fell inside of the container which should be next to impossible so he liked it and thanked the kid and asked if he could bake him something for a reward of sorts and Child Emperor agreed since he heard from mina that he was good at baking so he would like some sweets of some kind he gave Sato the choice of whichever he wasn't very picky. The child prodigy remarked before stretching and getting back to the work on his large machine just in time as well, as forte had returned from wherever he went and mina wanted to show sato some of her moves although he remarked that there was practically no need since kirishima talks about it a lot, making the girl flush for a moment.

As her and forte got back to it and sato not having much else to do for a the moment as pig god was out doing his food challenge in the city, as he entered into the large essentially dance room and sat down and watched the two practice he was somewhat surprised by the actual motions of the two martial arts, the fluidity of motion was in complete contrast to the mix martial arts that bone and darkshine was teaching them mostly about fierce strikes to either an opponent's weak point or to open them up, here however every actions seemed to be mainly focused on the rhythm itself even if the movement in his opinion was sometimes a bit exaggerated or completely unnecessary in terms of the flips and spins but maybe that was the point while bone or darkshine would call it wasted movement and a waste of energy he did it admit it was fairly unpredictable he had a hard time discerning what was an actual attack versus what was just a visual spectacle/ flare making it more difficult for an opponent to dodge or block effectively. It was a really interesting way to do things nonetheless and if it worked out for Mina then all the power to her.

The two took another short break but opted instead of just progressing like usual in their practice just the two of them to get sato involved forte explained the gist of the practice, it was a style of the rhythm rhythm fist that was supposed to mirror amply named mirror flow their opponents and if trained effectively or the bond deep enough even able to feel their opponents emotions during the fight. Sato had heard something similar from bone that occasionally when exchanging fist you could somewhat get a tell on what your opponent is feeling like each strike carried behind it their emotions even Koda said that his coach said something similar in his practice.

The tricky part was that this type of empathy was different for each martial art and the rhythm fist was no exception it was even more difficult in that like everything with the fist it revolved around music, the key to unlocking and using the skill to the fullest meant finding the correct flow to allow the mirror to commence using it among friends was easier due to your closeness to the individual and presumably having more knowledge to judge what style of music would not only represent them but your relationship with them as well so the technique was mostly relegated to tricks with friends and family for novices but true master could even use it in combat to better know their enemy of course a mirror was only good for delaying things out but was still susceptible to falter under the prefect that you are actually able to copy the move exactly as your opponent did but it wouldn't magically buff you to the level of the opponent so in the advent of using it against a stronger opponent the mirror attack was likely to be blown back or shattered completely. This also went for if you could even mirror the attack at all, which also limited its use against monsters even with masters of the form.

Having the explanations out of the way Sato and Mina got set to go against each other, sato opted to not go on and use his quirk for this sparring session after asking what score she got on that test that bakugo did on them last week he was surprised that she in fact got a higher score than he did well at least without his quirk that was she scored a .40 while he scored a .38, mina asked if he was able to beat stain then with his quirk that was but he shook his head he tried again and again but that man was just something else and Mina was confused shouldn't his number have also quintupled making him higher than stain and sato nodded his head that's what he originally thought as well and after his third loss bakugo sure did give him an earful about not overestimating and getting cocky, pot calling the kettle black mina mentioned casually causing both of them to laugh for a moment.

Sato somewhat defended the angry teen saying that he was right in a way he didn't have much experience with blade wielding opponents and while on paper he was physically superior his expertise and quirk was just too much for him to handle but he hopes to improve upon that eventually. He did beat gentle criminal though he was, while even trickier to fight than stain initially his second stage was more up his alley being able to match the strength and speed while maintaining a good enough posture to fight the rubber banding effect he had on everything and Mina could get behind that.

The two started their sparring and during the first three minutes, things were not going well their styles as he saw were still completely different although mina got in more hits than he did, although it was mostly due to not being used to such weird angles of the attack that would go through his blocks a lot of the time and his counters were always off target, messing up her rhythm was more difficult than he thought it would be. After the three minutes mark however things seemed to change with the bubbly pink girl as her entire demeanor and body movement shifted as the first of their fist collided against each other before it happened again and again almost as if she knew what he was about to do and match it; knee strike, knee strike, right jab, left elbow strike, right punch and soon after that she started to speed up this time doing the moves before he could even get them out forcing him to block a lot of them but or risk just being caught mid wind up of his attack until eventually, she ended the sparring match with her signature uppercut that completely took him out before seemingly returning to her usual self and pumping a fist in the air at her success, sato was happy and clap for her but he was curious on what song she played to match him so well and she just snickered and remarked that she played candyman and the second song was sugar crash. interesting choices he said but he guessed it worked out and now that she knew of the song's forte wanted them to spar again this time with sato using one of his pills.

the two started and this time sato was much more on the offensive mina couldn't really do much but avoid the incoming attacks the best she could even just blocking would still knock her off her game although sato was similar to kirishima in the fact that he didn't really press his advantage and let her get back in the mood, when it came time for the second song sato would block most of the strikes before returning with one of his own this one hitting her directly in the gut making her scrunch up in retreat for a moment as she retreated, sato was shocked when he narrowly dodged out of the way from acid shot his way this slight imbalance mina hoped to open up the man enough for her to get a shot in but he was still faster catching her punch and was about to push her again but he held back as he dodged out of the way of more acid spread by her other hand followed quickly After a kick from the girl whose range was extended by acid pouring out of the bottom, he quickly dodged left and right while closing the gap to strike her this time pushing inside of her next kick and wrapping her up in an arm bar making the girl submit. Mina questioned the unique technique coming from him as she never expected it with her mirror flow and sato explained that it was a spare-of-the-moment thing that he learned from watching Mizuki sometimes when she shows up during their practice.

Hearing the name again made Mina pause in hesitation for a moment and that moment wasn't lost on Sato as he recognized the girl's silent blunder he asked a question about if she used this mirror flow thing with Kirishima yet and Mina nodded but she remarked that she couldn't really find the right music to go with him, she was still trying to figure him out which surprised sato given in terms of the class they had known each other the longest only surpassed by bakugo and midoriya.

Yeah the girl remarked simply with a hint of skepticism and it seemed like she was going to ask him something before whatever it died as alarms started to blaze through the room no not just the room but it seemed like the entire building was raising an alarm, Child Emperor called them all towards the main area immediately their they saw that the boy was Fastway typing on his computer while suddenly bringing up video feeds of the city as there seemed to be countless monster attacks spread throughout the city itself, mina and sato just got a message to their phones as a large message from the association displayed itself on the large screen Child Emperor was located at stating the given emergency. The two of them had just finished looking at the message to see both of the other pro heroes' eyes on them.

Child Emperor asked the obvious question about what are they going to do now, given that monster capture was no longer an option both mina and sato didn't give much of a proper response well not one to the kids liking at least, neither really wanted to kill monster but they understood the situation enough to realize that prioritizing their safety wasn't exactly an option at the moment so they would do the best to just help people out of the chaos and if that involved killing monsters said monsters….than they would deal with the situation once it was upon them. Child Emperor wasn't completely satisfied with that answer but relented he wasn't going to ask them to sit this one out given the circumstances of the invasion although he did make some insurances to the problem in the form of forte, he told the man to exterminate any of the monsters they encountered if possible and for the second insurance was that he would separate himself from the group he wouldn't want to get into argument about sparing creatures again another time as he grabbed his backpack and started to go the opposite way their group was headed.

Forte was in charge of the trio on this mission as they rushed through the city as quickly as possible, Sato having had earlier popped a pill needed to pop another one so that he could maintain his power form each pill now lasted him 15 minutes which his new watch had a counter towards as well while redundant as he could feel the numbness approach his mind before his quirk wore off but he didn't mind the added clock it would inform others about his power that knew about it. Forte was the first to make contact with a monster which didn't last very long it was over in the blink of an eye and a shuffle of the man's feet the monster was a somewhat large dog with a mouth scattered all over its body even one scattered along its tail but blood spluttered from all of them as it suddenly makes contact with the wall its spine was inevitably shatter and died on impact, both mina and sato looked at the creature with some remorse as they carried on behind forte due to how fast the hero was in comparisons to them most monsters were already killed by the time initial contact was met with it and forte. Mina knew yelling out to the hero was practically folly given their headsets and it was doubtful that he would even listen to her, the man was completely serious about his job normally so in this situation he was likely not playing for keeps as more and more monster bodies scattered the walkway they were jogging down.

It wasn't until 10 minutes later that they came across actually people that were under attack by some goblin monsters these monsters held tough bone like weapons wielding them like clubs screeching in unintelligible shrieks and hisses their weapons seemed to have been coated with blood and from who was no surprise as around them as fire and shatter glass spilled into the streets some bodies of people was scattered about no doubt from the 9 or so monster before them that quickly hastened after a group of civilians scared for their lives as some brave men wielding fire arms fired at their approaching number the barrage of bullets was only a hindrance to the group however as some swatted the bullets from the very air using their weapons others that had concentrated their fire on one of the goblins proved a somewhat different circumstance as one round luckily got into the creatures eye but this only made it angrier as it jumped at the group of men holding their ground their fear finally eclipsed and destroyed their courage as they all tried to scream and run away and the goblin creature was already upon them thoug as its jump brought it into swatting distance this one wielding a bone club that shattered one of the men's legs but the others didn't stop to help their compatriot as they continued to run.

The wounded goblin swung at it's the man other leg shattering the second one as its compatriots chased after the people it crawls on top of the man and was about to bash his head in with a wicked grin but mina stopped it cold as she use her acid shot to completely throw the creature off while it was maximized with viscosity she also left a decent bit of acidity with this as well as the goblin creature screeched in pain as it hit the floor and rolled around trying to get the substance off mina used the opportunity to hurry up and rescue the downed man but despite his wounds and likely shock he was going through he yelled at her in an angered voice to finish it off.

She ignored him as she carried on and the man soon went silent as he finally fell unconscious from the pain he was going through the other of its kind were all taken care of by the time mina reached them although given sato somewhat disheveled look she guessed that any of the monster he fought and simply knocked out were killed by forte as well but some of them had bullet hole directly at at some of the monsters eye level which may have suggested that some of the men finished the job and as almost to confirm her thoughts many of the people here shamed her for not "doing her job" and gestures to the still wivering monster behind her that was just finishing getting the acid off itself its skin was burned away instead of green showing a slight purple color but after seeing that its colleague were dealt with it turned to run away with fear on it's face some of the people said that she should go after it and finish it off and that is what a hero was supposed to do and for a moment she.

She was about to letting the crowds anger feed into her and remembering how happy it was to torment others slowly raising up her gauntlet and about to use her acid shot again this time maximum pressure and acidity but ultimately she didn't have to as forte was their he shuffled his way close to the fleeing monster and with a back hand beheaded the creature to roaring applause from the people behind him even some rushing up and purposefully bumping into them in the process to give him applauds for being a "real hero" Mina and Sato while somewhat hurt by the lousy reception they understood it, they weren't heroes in this world sense of the word but that didn't mean they had to like it as Mina complained to Sato as they continued on the move to the next hot spot.

They weren't the only heroes in the city however as they came across other heroes as well forte called them weirdos but they were more like vigilantes they called themselves the neo hunters this group of regular civilians while opposed to the hero agency still made use of their things such as shelters in this time of crisis but they even held sato and mian in even more contempt for holding back and almost accused them of siding with the monster during this conflict, both Mina and Sato while can take criticism for their heroic duties but they drew the line of being apart or assisting in anything that was happening the two groups argued for sometime but they were just going in circles at a certain point but it was revealed to them a number of their members were poisoned and drawn off by a snake monster but before loosing them they had revealed that the monster in questioned remarked how the only people they weren't allowed to kill was those of the non-killing army members and they were to be captured if possible making both Mina and Sato speechless and unable to come up with a proper response, the only thing they did know that they had to do was to find out what snake monster they were talking about and try and find some answers.

Elsewhere in Y-City

"Monster, hold it right there! You're the one using poison right!" Child Emperor spoke through one of his machine watchdog men as the large lamia monster turned around to face him and chuckled to herself.

"Oh? Another low-class hero, how bold of you to come face me yourself. I prefer that my prey run away but I do enjoy a wannabe hero." the snake remarked

"What do you plan on doing with those captured heroes!" Child Emperor remarked as he took a glance at three heroes currently being suspended and trapped on a staff-like object ensnared by snakes the A-class hero sentai and two C-class heroes studless and ecology G were currently in the monster clutches as she waved the staff at the robot face.

"Oh these heroes, well I prefer to eat my meal fresh but having a meal in the middle of battle is so banal so they are simply paralyzed for now until I can return to my lair. Even if you were to miraculously save them they will just die in 2-3 days anyway but don't worry you will soon join them." the snake monster remarked

"Ha! Don't be so sure of yourself, monster…I, the brave hero watchdog man will not falter as easily as my comrades did. I will put my life on the line to stop you, here and now!" boom just as the robot finished speaking his sentence he was stricken fast as lighting by one of the monster's women's snakes on top of her head the blow sent him careening back but he recovered quickly.

"You can rarely recover from the poison of one of my snakes, normal animals would have found it hard to breathe from just a scratch." the monster commented

"This is nothing! As Dogman my courage gives me the strength to keep getting up no matter the odds! No matter how strong your poison is I will continue forwards until I defeat you! Doggy paddle punch!" The robot remarked as it jumped into the air, swinging its arms back and forth. But its momentum was immediately halted as several snakes from on top of her head sprang out into protection of their mother catching the being in their grasp and injecting their strongest positions into it.

"Is that all your poison is capable of!? I'm still standing!" dogman remarked as he fell and caught himself on all fours looking up at the monster, eyesight was completely perplexed by the discovery her babies had inflicted their strongest venom on this being that could normally kill even monsters in seconds the only thing stronger than that was her venom but surely if something so resistant existed the gyro-gyro would have informed her of it, but than she remembered what the adviser said to her when she was assaulting the city that the S-class hero Child Emperor was located hear and he liked to fight with toys and trinkets..this..this must be one of them she realized.

"You…you aren't human no…you're not even an organic being." eyesight said and when no answer was forthcoming to the normally talkative machine she had her answer but…strange she sensed a heat signature nearby but if it wasn't coming from it then, she turned her head as she lifted higher sticking out and retreating her tongue back over and over again just as she more precisely narrowed down the heat signatures exact location the unspeakable happen she felt a commotion on her…chest? She quickly switched her head back around to look down at the machine that so brazenly lodged itself between her bosom and before she could smack the creature of light suddenly filled her vision.

Unfortunately, I had to sacrifice a dogman robot but at least I was able to analyze the poison and come up with a countermeasure, now that she was taking care of he can move on to the next threat…or so he thought as suddenly very husky and deep but feminine voice sounded out behind him as the car that he was sitting behind was hoisted into the air.

"I found you, so it was your heat source I was sensing, you were the one controlling the robot which means that your Child Emperor." a bead of sweat ran down his face as Child Emperor started into the angry eyes of the snake, before turning his gaze to his backpack if he could just get to it he thought but he made a crucial error in glancing away as his backpack was unceremoniously grabbed by the snakes tail and the monster laughed as it fully threw the car over its shoulder as it laughed and continued to stare the hero down.

"Ah it seems you're without your little toys, small hero! You're like a frog caught in the eyes of a snake..kukuku for that explosion just now how about I eat without poison that way you can suffer and feel the full effect as I-" the monster stopped her threat as she suddenly felt something now in her complete monster from her heat-sensing abilities have also increased and something large was headed her way could it be another monster? But this size, she was supposed to be the largest creature sent to this city so what could it be? Then she heard the crashing of walls before suddenly bursting through the walls to her shock was a human, a big and grotesque one at that.

"Child Emperor-kun I heard an explosion and I came over right away. " pig god said

"But why through a wall!?" Child Emperor almost asked immediately

"I chose the shortest route possible, but now I'm tired and hungry." pig god remarked.

"Two S-class huh? Well, no matter since you are organic my venom can affect you just as well! To S-class heroes killed by me, I would instantly be granted cadre status! Now die!" eyesight remarked as she sent all of her snakes forwards towards the larger target but was utterly shocked when not just nothing happening to the large hero but her snakes were suddenly grabbed and she was lifted off her feet and dragged forwards into a widening maw as he vision suddenly went black not even her screams were heard as she was suddenly eaten head first as her tail started to enter pig gods body Child Emperor bag had slipped off but he was to consumed by what he was witnessing to pick it up.

"The poison! Pig god I don't think it's a good idea to eat the head of a poisonous snake!" the child hero remarked as he gained his voice.

"It's alright, the food was good, it could be a little spicier though." pig god said with a burp.()

"Child Emperor, pig god!" Sato screamed as he and Mina started toward them.

"You two?" Child Emperor questioned.

"Guy there is this snake monster we need to find." Mina said immediately and both S-class heroes looked at each other.

"I already ate it." pig god commented.

"No, no, no pig god spit her out, please. We need information…the monsters she was a leader of some sort, they said they weren't going to attack us for some reason and we need to figure out why?" mina said.

"What's there to figure out? They want to spare you because you guys spare them." Child Emperor remarked casually. Pig god said nothing but he didn't move from his spot, the more he moved the more his food digested inside of him, he didn't know how long the snake monster had but they needed to convince the Child Emperor quickly if they hoped to save for now pig god would remain impartial.

"But if she had access to that information she must be some sort of big shot right? Probably a disaster-level demon since she gave you some trouble. " sato added

"It was because of her threat level is why we don't need to save her, we can just capture a weaker monster and interrogate it instead." Child Emperor remarked and for that the two had no direct counter but the sudden shift a car falling over shifted their attention which revealed behind it the other heroes still hung up by the staff of said monster, mina looked at the unconscious and twitching heroes and decided on a last gamble play.

"Those guys were poisons, right? We can help them if we spare the monster's life."

" I already sent the data over to the association and figured out countermeasures." Child Emperor said getting somewhat impatient this was why he didn't want to work with them in the field.

"But antivenom is created using snake venom, it would quickly speed up the process of creating a counter. How long do they have left? And do you honestly think the hero association will be worried about a few heroes in the wake of all this to focus on it?" mina said and for a moment Child Emperor thought about it, she was technically right on most accounts but he was sure that he could come up with countermeasure of his own in the 2-3 day time frame , that also relied on if the monster was even telling the truth in the first pace and they wouldn't die sooner.

hmmm and they were correct in learning more knowledge from a creature that definitely held a higher rank in their little monster group so it would be more viable so with a heavy heavy sigh he relented and went with their idea calling in an extra strong cage for the beast triple reinforced invisible wall just in case as pig god regurgitated the monster reluctantly going off the fact that he was still somewhat hungry after eating it so now he was starving, the monster was terrified as a number of her snakes on her head were melted part of her arms as well as several spots along her tail being a different color as it finally shook itself rough from the light it made as much space away from pig god as possible in the small cage hissing all the way but body language clearly indicating nothing but fear it looked to pig god and Child Emperor several times before finally moving it's eyes over to mina and sato and it's body somewhat relaxed and as the extra defensive shutter closed it off to them, the two believed that they saw the monster murmurer a "thank you." as they read it's lips before passing out due to some sleeping gas and likely it's own injuries.

Pig god was gone soon after regurgitating the creature, his size always betraying his quickness sato remarked Child Emperor programmed multiple drones to bring the cage back as Child Emperor made one remark to the two teens that while they may have saved that monster they were doomed probably a lot more to its initial fate as pig god said he was hungry and he likely wouldn't listen to them anymore given their captive already both teens didn't respond but just like all their victories that day it was bitter one. As they continued along with Child Emperor for the remainder of their time taking the wounded heroes immediately back to the lab and hopefully able to administer countermeasures as quickly as possible, pig god could likely handle the rest. Child Emperor made a mental note of that pig god profile in those plus-size magazines when they said he was resistant to poison, he also made a mental note to be more careful with the non-killing army members from now on.

J-city scuffle: Council Of The Sword, Atomic's Disciples, Spring Mustache, Jackie, Sero

Sero had decided to go and visit spring mustachio for the morning before he headed out towards J-city and the council's place and that was the only reason he decided to go to hero hospital located in B-city nothing else entirely he mostly lied to himself as he thought about what he would do after he left the hospital. Given that things were a bit hectic at the moment with this whole mysterious monster group that had been lurking around and making moves in the shadows so he wanted to spend time with his girlfriend not that he believed something was going to happen to her but he never knew when something could happen and he was a bit more worried when the girl no longer had the protection of bomb and her other classmates not that she needed of course in terms of just hand to hand she could beat him to next Tuesday he thought with a snicker. Well he would worry about her when the time came, he continued to the hospital not without getting a smoothy but not for him however but for spring mustachio apparently due to his battle with garou the man not only had a mad concussion but he also had his jaw broken fairly grizzly as well he couldn't really talk or eat solid food well but he was recovering slowly over the past week and despite his lost the man never lost any of his suave and upstanding nature.

out of all the disciples of the swordmasters he was undoubtedly the nicest even without that challenge, their master hung over them regarding himself. He stopped by to see how ojiro was doing and seeing Toru was their as well decided not to overstay his welcome and get in-between the two before heading further down to spring mustache he wasn't surprised to see that the man had company today the older light skin gentleman which was also the A-class hero golden ball here that was also on the scene during when garou fought mustachio he had actually saved the hero in fact but it was for that reason the hero made sure to meet up with is friend everyday he never got it past himself where he just stood their incapable of doing anything while his friend got attack although mustachio never held it against and when he was better he would still want to go out with drinks with his friends although maybe at different bar, the two of them also would pay more attention to what the hero guide had to say about them thinking that those journalist were fairly invasive in their little routine they had going on would have preferred to keep that stricken from the records if possible in the next edition.

Speaking of edition golden ball and Sero discussed about the latest edition which heavily featured those of the none-killing army as the big seller Sero not having any knowledge of this quickly skimmed the book and turned to his page he was on a page along with mineta and kirishima, he didn't have much juicy speculations like some of the others mostly just the generic stuff like all of them had that was instead of when it came to speculation of how he got his powers now their were discussion about what type of things he was next to to be able grow his tape elbows some say it was just tape for an assignment for school, other speculated that it was paper towels of some kind but the by far the most embarrassing was that it was in fact toilet paper which led some believe that he began his mutation while he was on the toilet this got golden ball start fully laughing right along with saren inside of him, sero was just completely baffled by that guess and hated whoever reported such a thing it was beyond dumb.

Golden ball and mustachio were curious about what did happen that day but of course his not knowing and being unable, to tell the truth, lead him to just brush the question off with its classification which he liked being able to use made him feel somewhat more special and in hindsight, he guess he was but he did make sure that to say that bathroom rumor was the furthest thing from the truth if at all possible now and made sure to asked him to spread the word around which the man agreed to.

With that out of the way Sero used that as his opportunity to take his leave, he made his way to the next stop fairly quickly going towards Jacki's place or residents which was an orphanage, he was pretty stunned when she told him of that fact but he didn't look down on her for it, only thinking the girl was so much stronger than she initially appeared instead.

But he would keep it a secret she didn't want people to start looking down on her for it which he could understand it was like their world and quirkless people essentially there was a sort of pity there that was almost touchable. He had just finished swinging over towards her residence and he took notice of a certain someone waiting outside it was Fred if he was recalling right, he knew that on the days when Toru was out doing hero work, Jackie was continuing with her whirlwind practice and Fred was one of the best in their class so it made sense that she would go to him in bombs absence.

Toru tried and successfully stirred some controversy by revealing that Jackie actually had a big crush on the young adult but speaking to the guy about it he didn't return her feelings given their age gap which made Sero somewhat more relieved about their practice time which was mostly just the two of them by themselves but not completely.

Although he often battled with the thoughts of actually getting too attached to the girl in general he knew that he would be leaving eventually and not to discount her preferably sooner rather than later which meant they mostly only had one more month to be together if the current predictions were correct but Sero was not unaccustomed to short relationships some times in his middle school days people would go out and break up within weeks of each other and he was no exception to that, his thoughts were sidelined as Jackie came out and upon noticing him ran up to hug him and kissed him on the lips, she was oftly affectionate in terms of the other relationships currently going on they were the ones that show the most public displays of their love for the other, part of him was curious if this was mostly due to the girl just trying to make the most of their fling until he had to leave away.

The two of them agreed mostly to not mention his departure from their world unless some new information had presented itself that she would need to know and partly to not constantly remind themselves of a ticking time clock which may encourage them to rush things, they wanted to keep things as casual and "natural" as possible for the time being. Sero, Jackie, and Fred talked for a brief moment before Sero needed to go; he only had a limited amount of time to hang around in the morning, even less so now that he traveled further from J-city than his initial home was.

After swimming through the city and getting to the train station he was on his way to J-city, on his way however he had inadvertently ran into one of council of swordsman unfortunately it was one of the ones that was the most hostile towards him Haragiri, he thought that he was a complete front for what the council of swordsmans stood for which was practicing the sword the to of the maximum level possible but interestingly enough he made no comment as sero made his way behind him towards the location although that didn't stop him from glaring at him from time to time when he wasn't looking well according to saren if it was to be believed he even remarked that the man was seemingly pondering something and it definitely involved himself as he apparently made several motions his way but did not call out to him before stopping saren also said that the man had a strange aura about him today which at that point sero was convinced the ghost was just playing tricks with him but even with saren was more or less behaving from now on even helping with his his awakening powers, he still was a ghost in the end searching for another body that he could fully inhabit so he didn't want to feed into him to much.

Sero made it to the dojo a little behind Haragiri the atmosphere was fairly tense going by how none of the council swordsmen even said a word his way which indicated something was up, for atomic that was normal and the others were somewhat a hit or miss if they would say something but even when the old man didn't say anything but made his way inside he knew something was amiss and it was likely due to garou attacking spring mustachio he wondered if similar to the tank tops there was some type of clause or deal of defense/retribution did. For now, he couldn't pay attention to that as he started his practice with the disciples while they waited outside.

As sero mentioned saren has been more forthcoming with his knowledge and training, over the past week he has been steadily been able to more and more be able to control the hardening of his tape, now he could make it as hard and as sharp as a sword and of course, when that was done the disciples had gotten a little bit more interested in actually training him instead of doing their own thing his tape swords were just strings of tap pressed into the shape of a sword, he needed to focus on shaping first before he could wield the thing unless he risks cutting his own hands off the edges of his tape. It also offered the greatest similarities to the disciples they mostly fought with only one sword so he did as well and come to think of it most of the swordsmen he's seen only did so as well okamitachi said it was due to the stupidity of dual wielding swords as its impact relies on a steady hand and strong motion and that real life wasn't like the fiction he sees in his cartoons and the sentiment was echoed by practically all of them however Iaian had a different take on the matter given that his swords were made of tape they lacked weight but that was made up for by the sharpness he could form it in which would alleviate some of the issues revolving around duel wielding swords but he took things one step further in saying that when they first encountered his "inner self" his use of his paper was more in the fact of ranged projectiles like throwing stars and knives and that he should look to mirror that style of combat.

Saren also sided with Iaian on this matter technically speaking he could have a near-infinite amount of blades and didn't have to limit himself to just a single one like the others did but he would need to practice to make it work. Sero mind had to work overtime to make it work however the dual process of keeping constant control of all the tape he shoots out along with their hardness and position relative not only to him but his opponents was something that took getting used to. Shaping it all out and actually using them in combat were two different things, however if he focused too much on one certain thing his other creations would falter and in battle with sharp objects it became fairly easy to become tunnel visioned on just about anything, so he simply first decided to separate the two his combat training would revolve around more traditional one swords styles training with the disciples and then another secondary more ranged style of combat he was much more comfortable with this secondary training obviously seeing as he was more about range even before his awakening and given that all he really needed to focus on was his own position and the position of his tape things were much easier for him, he could even commentate over the disciples attempting to fend off his tape, while he obviously couldn't match their speed his best bet was to overwhelm them with pure numbers and they took that as a challenge but a risky one at that, they still had the disgrace thing if even a single one of his tape managed to touch them and in that vein sero made it harder by not even forming his tape into shapes which would shrink the number of objects only shrinking them as small as index cards to attack he called it gatling index. The disciples were good however he has still yet to tag a single one of them and he would get tired before any of the three did, ensuring their victory but shaping up their observational skills as he tried different techniques and angles to attack from to surprise them.

Sero and the group decided to take a break before discussing current events.

"Today's meeting is taking an oddly long time, it's been almost three hours since master atomic went inside." okamaitachi remarked

"Likely due to the recent developments everyone on the sword council is taking this threat seriously." bushidrill replied

"Master said he wanted to bring the entirety of the council of the sword down on garou…but is our query worth the extra attention?" Iaian remarked

"The hero hunter, his real name is garou, I heard that he was originally bangs' top disciple. Master atomic always held bang in high regard so he's likely taking no chances with his top student. " bushidrill said

"Then what if I were the one that brought him to justice? Given that master and bang compete amongst each other so much I'm sure that would make him happy." Iaian remarked with a smile.

"According to reports garou has defeated numerous heroes including tank top master and Nichirin's top disciple spring mustachio. Do you think you would be capable of doing the same? Especially with just one arm Iaian?" okamaitachi queried.

"I won't know until I face him, But it would be a disgrace to garner this force for someone unworthy of it," Iain remarked looking down at his sword.

"Hmph.. no, there is no need to pursue personal vendettas in this case, especially against someone who strayed from the path, master's right to form a competent elite team to deal with the problem once and for all." bushidrill remarked

"I heard some of the tape boy's friends had some encounters with the guy himself. He likely can give off some more information about this garou." okamaitachi remarked before scanning the area not finding said tape boy questioned where he went. ()

Sero had snuck off away initially just to go use the bathroom in a porta potty nearby but after some convincing from saren and taking a chance with the ghost for a moment the two of them circled around next to the dojo hopefully none of the other disciples could see him he would sure get into a lot of trouble so in that end he allowed saren to have control of his body, he uses his tape more intresignly than he thought he would instead of walking around and moving with his feet instead he opted to moe around on top of the very tape itself like makeshift hover shoes , woah he definitely needed to start thinking more creatively he thought with his powers he thought as he lowered down next to one of the windows and placed multiple pieces of tap on it before actually giving him a warning all he heard was his voice remark enchantment hearing talismon a sharp pain suddenly flashed through sero's head but is screeched was muffled by tape his very own tape but the next thing that surprised him was that he could actually start to hear inside of the place.

"Spring mustachio, one of our most promising students, fell to garou the other day. I fear we as the sword saints can not let such a challenge go unpunished. Some people call themselves heroes now, to begin with, it was only a matter of time before someone who hates heroes would rise eventually, if all they do is kill monsters they are no different from huntsmen and who also receive pushback occasionally. These heroes you associate yourself with Kamikaze, are any of them stronger than me?" Nichirin asked before sipping his sake.

"Strong heroes? There are but a few even fewer that are stronger than anyone in this room. I'll bring them to the council at another time but for now, as previously I want to talk about bang you all have met him before. Currently, he cannot be contacted and he has expelled all of his current students even going against the hero association regarding the non-killing army brats, even going so far to close down his dojo as well all to stop the hero hunter." Kamikaze said, earning surprise from his fellow council members.

"Perhaps he was too ashamed of his former student to face anyone?" Nichirin remarked

"Tying up loose ends before the final battle he must be prepared to die."Ahamare said

"Or maybe he plans to take responsibility and die with him." zanbai said

"Whatever the reason bang wouldn't take these measures if he wasn't serious, there's a chance that he might lose," Kamikaze said s

"I thought you acknowledged his skill?" zanbai remarked

"It isn't that I doubt his ability, but he raised garou from a young age and despite his skill the truth is, that bang is a kind man I can't hold out the possibility that he may hold back and in the battle, to the death, a moment's hesitation can cost you your life." Kamikaze remarked

"But the hero hunter doesn't kill people, even the C-class heroes he encounters still draw breath." ahamare remarked

"This is true, although for how long that gonna last we don't know what worries me during the conflict about the two is that garou grows stronger with every hero he defeats, another S-class hero tank top master described him adapting and improving during battle, he has the potential to become a grave threat. If he and bang were to clash and bang losses due to holding back I fear that he will grow even more substantially. That's the reason I say we find garou before Silver Fang and kill him ." Kamikaze said

All of the council of swords began to agree with Kamikaze and offered their aid in finding and putting an end to garou all except one who simply started to laugh, haragiri. The swordsman balked at the idea of once again Kamikaze using the council of swords for his nonsense hero talk questioning who he was aligned to and what his true purpose was as a swordsman or a hero before continuing and taking out bag and plopping it down in the middle of their circle front of the bag opened up as it landed revealing some sort of bugling mysterious fleshy fruit.

"These are monster cells. If you take them inside of yourself you will shed your human limits and go beyond. In other words, you become a monster, the monsters created their monster association and organization to fight the hero association, they spoke to me the other day and convinced me to give up on being human in exchange for immersible power, so I joined them " Haragiri remarked looking down at the fruit before slowly reaching for his sword and taking a stance as the other just gaped at him fools he thought so smugly.

"After eating them you will all feel an incredible surge of power, I could win against all four of you right now. This is the power of transforming into a monster." haragiri remarked as his body started to morph and transform but while doing so suddenly from underneath the floorboards struck out multiple pieces of tape sharp as blades piercing him through his knee, shoulders, hands, and feet, the council all looked on quizzically before a sudden tearing down was heard from the wall behind the former council members…it was none other than sero his eyes glowing red and his ghostly echo as he spoke.

"Yes this is the perfect opportunity I have been waiting for, you dropped your guard focusing so much of your attention on the council! Now you're trapped. I can only assume after hearing your former friend's monologue that you do not need him anymore, correct?" saren voiced through sero as he took steps closer to the struggling monsters but his body was unresponsive to him. Nichirin looked to Kamikaze for any sort of clue on what was happening right now and what was happening to the boy but he simply held up a hand to placate him before turning his attention back to the possessed sero.

"And if we said yes what do you plan to do?" Kamikaze asked

"Well, if he is no longer in need of his body, I will take it for myself." the ghostly sero remarked stepping even closer slowly but steadily approaching the crouching monster the swordsman all looked to atomic for instruction on this bizarre situation and atomic simply nodded at the ghostly sero and twirled his hand in a proceed motion and the rest of the sword master just watch as sero came closer and closer to before unleashing a trail of tape from his elbow and sticking into the monster's chest who was screaming blasphemy all the while as the swordsman watched on sero eyes soon lost all their red color returning to black and soon after a moment collapsed on the ground into a knee clutching at his head, the monster haragiri on the other hand stop talking altogether before being amassed in a dark aura and body slumping to the ground almost lifeless.

The samurai watched the spectacle with some hesitance waiting for either participant to move a muscle. Kamikaze kicked sero in the knee, making him lean backward in pain before gasping out.

"Ow man." sero spoke

"Is that spirit gone kid?" atomic asked

"Yeah …tsch…I guess so that's how he got me the first time so I guess it should work." sero said as he rubbed his knee along with his throbbing head and just as he finished speaking the monster's body began to move. It was enveloped in a green aura before he started to laugh and stood up to his full height.

"Perfect, in that case- what are you doing brat?" Kamikaze remarked as Sero stood up and pushed in front of Saren and let out a chuckle.

"Come on now, I'm not that dense…Saren that you, I'm fairly sure he still wants to kill you." Sero remarked to the man behind him. After seemingly another couple of seconds that green aura around him faded as the man looked back down at everyone.

"It's me, this body will take some getting used to but it's strong. I can feel its power even now, a much more suitable vessel." Saren remarked

"Well now we still have problems, wouldn't want to lose that body now would ya." sero remarked as he drew even closer to saren as saren looked at the teen and then towards atomic samurai, ah he see now the dilemma he's been put in, he could attempt to cast some magic but he didn't want to make any sudden moves, he didn't know the capability of these swordsmen just yet and he didn't want to prompt them into action so the teen was protecting him even now huh? Such an idiot, he thought with a smile. So instead of doing anything he decided to simply talk his way out given that most of the council members were completely confused he started to explain himself and what he was, they didn't completely believe him of course especially Kamikaze believing that this was just another attempt by the kid to save a monsters life so to prove to them that he was being real instead of telling them about himself he started to tell them all about sero, which the teen despite some of the embarrassing things he said had to comply and confirm for them so that they could believe it and they slowly started to come around to it.

"If what you say about yourself is true, how are you in complete control of haragiri?" amahare questioned. Saren looked at sero for a moment and sero knew what the stare suggested and the boy simply nodded his head. It was a secret they wanted to keep but I guess sharing it wouldn't hurt that much, not to these people at least.

"That's simply due to him being protected by some mysterious being that brought him and his friends here, you may have guessed that he and his friends aren't normal and you would have been correct in that assessment they're likely not even of this plane of existence." Saren finished

"What or who is this being?" Kamikaze asked

"I don't know but it called itself god," Sero remarked with a shrug and for a moment all of the council of the sword took a minute to deliberate what to do next asking both of them to wait outside but before leaving Saren made note of saying that their true headquarters is likely to be attacked any moment now, going through haragiri memories he hated this fake place they made for Sero and wanted to return towards their original base of course remade into his own image. This got the council of swords up and moving while the three disciples were questioning why Sero was inside the chambers but atomic samurai in further discussion telling them that they needed to proceed quickly. It should take them 12 minutes to get to the original base in G-city.

Sero questioned why they would make something so elaborate just for him even having the association people in the city in on the ploy but the matter was simple they couldn't trust him as he was to secretive and they thoughts were proven correct with what he told them, now normally it would take them 12 minutes if they ran the entire way something off 12,000km but saren remarked that he could get them their instantly if they allowed him but obviously they were still hesitant to trust the monster spirit hybrid but Nichirin said that he would go and if sero trust Seran than he could and slowly everyone agreed as well with that set the nine of them huddle together while saren prepared a spell to transport them their it took a while since it been some time but he eventually remembered and with a flash of blue light they were gone and reappeared in a nearly identical place.

They still had some time before the monsters arrived, so another proof of loyalty was commenced as the council tasked Saren to kill the monsters sent to destroy the building, and the ghost obliged while the others sat and watched. The monster came just like he said they would march down the path of the brazenly and in the open, they were surprised to see that haragiri was already there and questioned him about his mission and he lied and said that he was forced to kill all the swordsman but he quickly moved on and wanted to confirm the number of them present and after getting the sufficient data saren went to work, there were a dozen of them of various shapes and sizes but that didn't matter to them as in the next second they were dead sliced to pieces with no one was left alive and saren was just laughing and gazing down at his blood-stained sword with a smile.

He once again praised his new body strength before he went slowly to join the others. They were still hesitant around him and given that the door to the dojo was wide open instead of closed like it usually was, something told him their master was as well. It took another five minutes before atomic came out and addressed the elephants in the room so Sero took out his phone which he had on silent to see that the monster association was making even bigger moves than he thought and the crew of them left to take care of any other monster in the city, atomic samurai keeping a close eye on saren the whole time.

Insects attack J-city: Metal Bat, Metal Knight, Garou, Koda, Aki, Torax

Koda and bad had the unfortunate opportunity to be doing body guard service for some association backer and his son, Koda even while traditionally nice and kind to all also felt fairly odd about the whole arrangement the first thing they actually ended up doing was coming and "suggesting" for him to skip class for the day solely for the fact that the son wanted to "play" with the monsters under his control but it became immediately clear that the boy was not one of the gentle types he was almost immediately antagonistic against both aki and Torax leaving to both not really liking the boy much if at all, Torax actually snapped at the boy which immediately changed the kid's mood at least to not entirely focus on them while they traveled although it did get the kid and his father to start bad mouthing Koda instead which he was willing to take as it was the better alternative than pissing Torax off but bad stuck up for him at least somewhat in that regard as well when the two started to take things to far and suggest that he has a different set of monsters assigned to him if he could't control them properly at all times.

The group of five finally arrived at their destination which was called mouse sushi, as the name implied it was a small sushi shop, given the size of the place and the establishment not allowing animals the monsters had to wait outside, and after talking to them both agreed and were more than fine with not spending more time with that kid so they were going to relax outside waiting in that instance Koda just opted to wait outside with them and just get his food to go with them. Metal bat was jealous that he found a reason to separate himself from the father, son duo as bad was forced to sit inside and watch as both the rich father and son not only seemed impressed by the "poverty" of the food along with completely breaking the rules of the establishment by putting the plates back on the rotating belt which without the people wouldn't be able, to sum up, their prices at the end, not that price mattered to the two in particular bad noted but it as just being polite and courtesy to the employee which the father seemed to have gotten as he kept his plates but the kid kept putting his place back angering metal bat greatly but thankfully before he could act on his anger and things of that nature he started to get a phone call and decided to go back into the bathroom to take it.

It was his sister she was curious if he was going to come and pick her up to go shopping unfortunately he couldn't come along due to the mission she offered that instead to send Koda over in his stead but he also denied it saying that he had to stay their on the mission with him as well it was something important going on for the association so they forbade him from telling anyone else about it but he wouldn't lie to his little sister if she wanted to know he would tell her but that was if she really wanted to know so for now he just said that he would explain later and despite the girl saying that she was going to cry it took a lot of his willpower not to break and just rush to her side and she hung up soon after tears already evident in her tone, he was saddened he hated to make his sister cry he would never just blindly be told he's doing something ever again even if it came from someone from the top he thought before suddenly the entire building started to shake and he heard a loud crash from the other side of the builing laog with screams of the s.

He hurried back inside the main place and saw what was happening a large centipede was holding the boy hostage meanwhile behind it was a large planet-type monster this one had carnivorous plants for arms and legs but it was facing away from him using its arms to strike out at the tiger in hopes of biting it but the tiger was swiping at the creature with its claws completely tearing off one it's limbs making it scream in pain, for Koda and Aki's part they were busy getting hurt and damaged people out of the way and out of the shop those that weren't crushed or swallowed up by the large hole the monsters made that is. Koda was just returning and bad called out to him to let out a screech and Koda nodded letting out a vice shout the screeching sound made the large centipede monster completely drop the kid allowing bad to rush in and bisect it with just a swing from his bat, Torax knowing what was coming adapted completely shutting his ears to avoid the stunning voice before he lunged forwards embedding his teeth into the second monster and ripping outwards tearing the creatures head from its shoulders.

The father and son quickly reunited as the father surprisingly had started to record the fight and the son was just surprised by how quickly the fight had gone and he was saved, bad caught a plate of sushi that was about to hit the floor and quickly swiped at it and ate it, couldn't have food going to waste well more than it already was from the monster attack but none of this made since they said that garou was supposed to be hunting the association, not monsters so why did they show up? They had a picture of the kid so something was going down but was the hero hunter a part of it?

He thought for a moment before the centipede creature that he was laying on started to ramble about his back story that nobody asked for but the punchline about his story was that there was always someone bigger than you in this world and as he finished the grounded once again exploded open this time forcing everyone still inside the building out pushing even Torax out that was eating the plant monster both him and metal bat recovered on to their feet while the others face planted and slowly started to rise this new senior centipede wanted revenge for it's junior and while bat wanted an answer on what they wanted that could always wait until before but before he could charge at is new target a mist started to permeate the air and another monster started to crawl out from between the girders. Koda, Aki, and their two charges dropped unconscious and while the tiger was somewhat shaky he remained standing on his legs.

Well at least someone stayed up, metal bat thought as he remarked to the cat being too sleepy to continue to fight but Torax rebuffed him and said that he still had the energy to spare. With that taken care of the two charged at their targets Torax would take care of the plant monster while metal bat fought the centipede, Torax battle was one of annoyance the plant creature's tentacles held little stingers on the needles like jellyfish any time it touched his body it would send a jolt through his systems causing irritation and pain but at least he could still move simple enough to fight back at least somewhat, metal bat, on the other hand, wasn't having too much of a fun time either he started with defending against the creatures grand march which utilized its body and numerous legs to strike him on all sides but he was able to smack it away, but the creature used that moment to strike at the tiger instead proceeding forwards to strike at it's blind spot smacking the large beast into a house nearby which crumpled down upon it. Bad wanted to intercept but his body suddenly felt heavy and couldn't move.

The centipede seeing the tiger down both turned their sight on the S-class hero that was not moving the plant monster had been constantly spraying it's hypno-scent into the air and eventually it started to affect him as well the two demon monster taunted how would handle them now but bad was too tired to reply the centipede charges at him again smacking him but even as he felt the pain his body only felt sluggish and tired hit after hit the centipede continued along with some zaps from the planet monster when it could squeeze it through the unrelenting assault but after crashing through a buss had an idea so he smacked himself upside the head this time first once and then again and again until four times finally getting his fighting spirit to kick in and his head instantly started to clear the monster were stunned but before either side could do anything else the plant monster flower was blindsided by Torax's tail transforming it into a massive flower traps and consuming the top portion of it's head as senior centipede turned around surprise it was too lae for him as metal back struck the centipede once so hard that it completely combusted.

After the fight was over metal bat completely forgot to ask why the monsters were attacking in the first place. Bad yelled at the tiger for not sparing the plant monster and the tiger yelled back saying that he never agreed to spare anything and blamed him for not sparing the centipede. The two bickers somewhat until two people rapidly approached it was two heroes apparently the C-class mohican and the B-class pineapple both of the heroes were their to help and they had squared off against Torax but metal bat just informed them that the fight was over the monsters were dead pointing to those two corpses on the ground next to them, but they pointed to the large tiger that was their but bad defended for him saying that it's one of forest lords who the tiger was inspecting along with Aki , Metal Bat checked over the association protectees and after seeing that they were just sleeping he ordered the two heroes to take them away and get them to one of those fancy shelters the association has for people like them and for Torax to go with them.

while the tiger didn't like taking orders he simply compiled especially with the as cracks started to suddenly form into the ground which everyone awake immediately took notice of the cracks stopped talking as suddenly the sun was eclipsed as a massive monster sprung up through the air, it's large purple body immediately clueing the heroes off on what that monster was it was elder centipede informing meta bat that it was a dragon level threat but the man was seemingly calm about the news and told them to go on ahead, Torax didn't know if he was crazy or just believed to much in himself but he wasn't going to waste time asking questions. He shot out a web from over his body and strapped the four unconscious people to himself and started to run away along with the Two arrivals riding his back.

Elder centipede spotted them and yelled that they wouldn't get away and charge forwards towards them the heroes on top of Torax yelled a warning as the monster dives down it's body just barely fitting through the gaps of the buildings but the sudden sound of a large metallic clang ringing through the air and the almost endless rumbling finally ceased even Torax looked back to see what happen and even he was shocked by what he saw the massive centipede was completely stopped by the small human but that was short lived as the S-class hero was completely brushed aside by it's pincer sending him flying into a building and the monster turned back it's attention to them once more as Torax turned back around and continued to run away but the monster was still gaining on them even when Torax would twist and turn through the city but that only resulted in more collateral damage as the heroes on top of them would say but they didn't seem to care too much he must have thought as the thing chasing them was still coming and still gaining how fast could something like that move Torax thought as he continued but suddenly more resounding smacks rung out and this time it as met with a roar of pain from the beast body did a weird jerky motion as it's body flung buildings and ruble everywhere.

Torax looked skywards just in time to see something fling off the creature before noticing that a large part of the building was going to collapse on top of them the heroes screams were muffled as he wrapped them all up with his tail as his body morphed protruding a bone like defensive cage all round himself and his passengers.

After the initial fall Torax quickly dug out of the gravel and debris before releasing the bone cage and dropping the two still panicked heroes who were gasping for breath. One of them looked into the sky and saw that elder centipede was currently under attack as multiple large explosions dotted its body but Torax noted how the rockets didn't seem to even damage the creature, the heroes pointed out where the missiles were likely coming from it and it landed down in front of him, it was a large machine that took a moment to noticed the heroes as it looked at Torax it asked him where does he stand, Torax simply replied that he's in charge of protecting these people as he gestured to the people attached to him and metal knight said nothing but told them to leave the battle zone as his weapon testing was not meant for show and with that out of the way three of them were off and metal knight continued onwards.

The three of them ran for a couple of blocks but were intercepted by three monsters dropping down in front of them: a sludge monster, a bird monster, and a rhino monster. The first to speak was the sludge monster who wanted Torax to surrender the father and son. Torax hesitated for a moment before shaking his head the bird spoke up next noticing another individual strapped to the large tiger it was also someone of interest, it asked if the teen could control monsters but Torax played his cool and didn't react leading the monster to stare at him questioningly. The bird then asked another question seeing if this would garner a reaction he asked where was metal bat he was supposed to be fighting the elder centipede but he didn't see him and the Torax merely looked off in a given direction before looking back phoenix curious and decided to investigate telling the sludge creature to follow him and the rhino to take care of the rest.

Elsewhere in S-city: metal bat

Garou had arrived at the site of the disaster. Originally he was planning on paying a visit to watchdog man but once he heard that a dragon-level threat was fighting Metal Bat nearby he just couldn't refuse such a delicious offering. While originally he believed that he would be getting maybe some sloppy seconds of a weakened hero after having fought a dragon-level threat upon actually looking at the giant centipede wreaking havoc through the city he simply didn't know even if the man survived the conflict or not, they just seemed comical, he wondered could he just fight the monster instead killing something that killed an S-class hero would be just as good right?

But then people would look at him as a hero, not a monster, he thought with a sigh maybe if the thing was in his neck of the woods but not now, someone else could take care of it, or not didn't matter to him, it just sucks that he made his way down here for nothin- his thoughts were immediately halted as something flew right past him and he turned just as the sound of the railing behind reached his ear as it crumpled with the sudden lump of mass upon, that lump of mass, however, was none other than metal bat himself the man seemed completely defeated which confirmed his fears of his defeat as he looked back to the rampaging centipede in the distance well there was still always watchdog man he thought but he was again surprised this time a welcome one as the hero rose once again still willing to fight the centipede but he had to get through him first.

Even if the man was beaten up and bloody he didn't hold back as he launched his first strike utilizing the old man's technique to not take any chances he was still an S-class hero one of the weaker ones but still as his attack was blocked by the pummel of his bat, making garou smile even more.

The idiot finally caught onto who he was and garou always loved that his reputation precedes him but that only meant the hero new what he had to do as the two charged at each other, the fight between them was simple garou could see it all the sluggish and one dimensional movements were easy to avoid and counter with an attack of his own even landing follow up attacks but something was off as he dodged out of the way of a downwards swing at him.

The amount the man was bleeding should have been debilitating but he kept powering through if anything he seemed to be just fine and dandy like the blood was just a decoration is this what people called the "heroic spirit" he asked aloud to the hero, but a sudden metal bat clouded his vision causing him to dodged out of the way, something was definitely going on that swing almost seemed faster than before and his counter attack that would usually stagger the hero now was just eaten his kick that had solidly landed directly on the hero bloody forehead barely budged him.

He dodged another flurry of swings and another downward swing that this time struck the ground and confirmed that he was getting faster and stronger somehow, he had an idea and raised at him with a barrage of attacks they all landed but again the man was now like an impenetrable fortress his body did not falter from his assault as he muscled through and swung his bat again but despite the explosive power of the attack he still couldn't land a hit as he jumped away and landed on a fence and questioned the hero about this strange ability of his but all he got in response was some cheap talk about "fighting spirit" which just ticked him off which was further by the fact that the hero still wanted to fight against the centipede was he looking he down on him? Garou thought angrily.

He jumped down from the fence kicking up a sewer top simultaneously and kicking it towards the hero as a cover for his movements the hero reacted obviously and hilariously going into a batter pose and smacking the things away like it was a softball but he left his side open by moving and his confusion about where he went relaxed his body allowing garou next flurry of blows to stagger than man backward a bit before he could refocus and push through it.

Despite his constant beating he still thought he had a chance against him whatever this fighting spirit was didn't matter as long as the idiot couldn't hit him he would be fine he exclaimed as he struck again and again after every dodge. his next kick was suddenly blocked by the hero as he started to rapidly spin around in circles using his "killin' move'' savage tornado but in actuality, the move was nothing but a playground stunt he nearly laughs at the stupidity of it spinning in circles and hoping for the best is that really what an S-class hero is capable of when backed up into a corner?

But speaking of which he was backed up into a corner was this the real goal with that kiddy-like move? And to make matters even worse the man rapidly spinning was actually pretty good he couldn't find a pathway through it which meant that there was only one thing he could do was deflect the blows and force and opportunity he felt bad that he had to use the geezer move against such a child-like attack but he wasn't going to take unnecessary damage either due to pride.

So he started to slowly but steadily deflect all of the blows but he wasn't just deflecting them he was guiding them away from himself like a wind current and this new current he created will be repeated by the idiot unbeknownst to him leaving him plenty of room to use his next attack faijin blast taking the momentum of the tornado and combining it with his own power and the fajin technique that mossy hair kid did allow him to strike metal bat much harder than he could own his own and the effect was immediate causing the hero to get thrust back and spit up blood as he did so before he landed on his back and it didn't seem like he was going to rise again.

Garou was satisfied with his victory like tank top master metal bat was just a simpleton just throwing around his power it was the exact type of thing bang's anti human martial arts were meant to takedown but…woah those swings they were fairly powerful even though he was reflecting them using the geezer moves, he would give him one thing he was powerful he was simply outmatch who knows what would have happened if he actually managed to land a hit on him but just as he thought that his instincts flared and he turned around as quickly as possible just as another voice rang out behind exclaiming "brother!"

the strike that was about to hit him completely stopped in its tracks allowing garou to get the upper hand again and knock the hero back on his ass again as he was paying attention to his sister, apparently the two of them were had a deal going on where he wouldn't commit violence in front of his sister which was a dumb thing just in general but especially in a fight but just as he was about to beat on the hero again his sister halted him as she sped over to get in between them, hehs she's pretty fast for a kid her age. There was a brief pause as garou planned his next move but another nagging feeling in the back of his head was bothering him like he was being watched from somewhere so he dropped it and let the little girl have it.

He already won the fight and had no point in continuing as he started to walk away. He kept an eye on the duo as he rounded a corner metal bat was going to continue to fight but his sister must have knocked the wind out of him as he collapsed on the ground unconscious it was at that very moment that something seemed to seep out of sewer drain and garou was on it in an instant crashing down on the sludge monster with a fist. It survived surprisingly enough but before he could finish it another monster came down. It was a bird monster of some kind and it offered him an invitation to some monster association he wasn't interested in so he ripped it up and threw it in its face but unbelievably despite his spectacular refusal it didn't give up yet and remarked that they would speak again.

Back to Koda()

The two heroes were completely hopeless in facing the monster before them this rhino was clearly above their capabilities despite all their efforts and the monster told them as such rating their special moves and detesting their strength, Torax for his part did not move or budge from his position but he did not speak or say a word the heroes assumed that he was waiting for a command by forest lord and without it, he couldn't do much of anything which forced them into fighting the monster, soon after the monster gave it's rating the bird monster returned and told him it's time to leave, despite the monster wanting to fight the robot hero the crane refused before turning his attention to him, the crane quickly smashed both of the heroes into the ground using its feet and while standing on them looked directly at him and spoke.

"You can talk freely now." phoenix man remarked

"I guess I wasn't as convincing as I thought." Torax replied simply.

"So you are not under control?" the rhino remarked

"No..never have been." Torax replied simply

"Well, what are you going to do now? Will you stand in our way as well? We monsters need to stick together. If you're worried about the teen have no need the gyro-gyro has plans for them and an invitation to join" phoenix man remarked, Torax was intrigued by that but when he did not proceed forward the rhino added on in threat.

"I ain't above crushing you right here and now."

"That will be unnecessary, you want the child no? I'll hand him over. As for the other request, I'll wait for him to wake up to offer my own, where will this request be given to them?" Torax asked as he used his tail to slice down the kid and threw him over to the rhino monster.

"Thank you for your cooperation, they want the meeting to happen tonight near the edge of Y and Z city. This will be the only offer if they decline or fail to show there will be no going back, choose the right side the human's time is over"

Phoenix man remarked before flapping and flying away to get elder centipede's attention allowing the beast to swallow him whole which it proceeds to do with the rhino monster before backing into the whole from once it came and after that everything went silent. Torax not having much else to do smelled the air and continued towards the smell of metal bat who was unconscious next to his sister, the girl welcomed him and soon after the people attached to the large cat started to wake up just as well but Torax would only allow Koda to explain what happened to the currently panicking father.

Well I probably use these endings notes as mostly as messages for the future story, so again the next place has been selected it will be Pokemon XY ALL OF IT!(anime, movies, game, and manga) I'm just starting the anime today but I have seen about 6 or so retrospectives of the games and some searching around bulbapedia to find the differnceces between manga, anime, and game that need to be reconciled for the story.

I have a rough outline of how the story will go which is:

I have also figured out what the teens will do for money since you know, they'll need that since they have none and their funds are not compatible with the world and also found a way to tie them to the core cast of characters from the series as traditionally they would have no reason of really sticking around each other than just passing greetings BUT there is one more thing that needs to be done before that which requires you all once more but that will be for March as that requires you all to learn more about the Good path which at that point will be halfway through so it will give everyone enough to make that choice.
