Captain Lightningbolt yawned as he was escorted into the Hooligan centre of the AHAB. He would love to be asleep more snuggled up with Holly in his arms especially she was only wearing her
"Ah morning James" Wallaby said handing him a cup of coffee
"This had better be good" James snapped
"It is, what do you know about Frostbite Syndrome?" Wallaby asked
"It's a side effect of ice based quirks, it started to literally freeze the user's bodies. The most they use their ice the quicker it spreads, thankfully its uncommon since their body are adapted to the sheer cold needed to produce ice. But I fail to see what that has to do with me" James said.
"The twins" she said sternly
"No" James gasped
"Yes, they are starting to succumb to it" Wallaby said showing him some photos of the twins
"How long?" he asked
"Not sure, that is why we're sending you guys on a new mission" Wallaby said
"And that is?" James asked
"You're going to kidnap Rei Todoroki" she smiled
"What" James said gobsmacked.
"WHAT!" the other hooligans asked
"Yeah, we're kidnapping the wife of the number one hero in Japan." Captain Lightningbolt said
"Oh that's bullshit, why would we?" Boomerang asked
"Us" Thredbo said
"Meaning?" Feedback asked
"We have Frostbite Syndrome" Perisher said
"What?" Cruncher asked
"HOW!" Huntsman exclaimed
"Those with Frostbite syndrome only get it if they only have one parent with a cold usage quirk" Thredbo said
"And since our mother doesn't use ice we got it" Perisher said
"So, now we need a sample of blood that comes from a pure ice user, and that person is a member of the Himura clan"
"That is why you're going to Japan" Wallaby said "You're going to kidnap Rei Todoroki"
"So, we can find out how the Himuras don't get frost bite?" King Brown said
"Basically" Wallaby nodded
"FORGET IT!" Captain Lightningbolt said "Yes we've gone against heroes, like that asshole Gallant. But we weren't going to kidnap their loved ones, especially on as high profile as Rei Todoroki!" he snapped.
"Oh, don't worry this will be easy; she's in the hospital getting a mental health checkup" Wallaby said
"No" Captain Lightningbolt said
"Too bad, you're going" Wallaby said "and we deploy in five."
"You're really against this" Eclispa said
"I am" Lightningbolt said
"Can we go back to when you tangled with Gallant" Perisher said
"It was awhile ago when he was visiting Broome" he snorted
"Still, you took on one number one pro you can do it again" Feedback said
"And we recruited you why?" Boomerang asked
"Not sure, but they are paying me well" Feedback shrugged
"Asshole" Cruncher said as he turned to his friend "I know you man, there's something you're not telling us"
"Holly knows Rei" Captain Lightningbolt said softly
"And that's why you don't want to do this correct?" Cruncher asked
"Yeah, can you imagine what would happen. I know I'm a villain and she's a hero, but I think that would be the straw that broke the camel's back."
"Don't worry we'll finish this mission and make sure everyone gets what they want" Cruncher said
"But how?" Captain Lightning bolt asked
"I do not know" Cruncher said.
They were outside the hospital where Rei originally stayed. Thredbo and Perisher were chomping at the bit to get in there and find her
"Easy you two" Captain Lightningbolt said "She's not here yet" he said
"When" Perisher said
"Soon" Boomerang said as a taxi pulled up and Rei got out with a woman and an unexpected wrinkle
"Shit!" Lightningbolt growled "We're pulling out!"
"We can't" Perisher said
"I'm not doing a mission when my wife is in there as well" Lightningbolt pointed out.
"So what?" Thredbo said "We're doing this to save our lives! I'm sure she'll understand,"
"No, Rei is Holly's friend. We're pulling out!" he said
"Isn't there another Ice user we can find?" King Brown asked
"No, there's no time" Thredbo said. "we're moving in now!"
"NO, WAIT!" Lightningbolt said as the team rushed in "Damn it!" he snapped following them.
Once inside the group looked around.
"So, where do we go next?" Thredbo asked
"How about away from the armed guards; you boofheads!" Captain Lightningbolt snapped as he pointed out the guards
"Oh yeah" they said
"So, will this be taking very long?" a deep voice said
'oh you got to be kidding me!' Captain Lightningbolt groaned
"What is he doing here?" Thredbo asked
"It shouldn't dad" the young woman said
"And what is the Australian doing here" Endeavour said making Holly glare and smiled
"I'm here because I was in town and I was supporting my friend" Holly replied
"I don't trust you, especially with that villainous husband of yours!" Endeavour snorted
"Why that asshole" Lightningbolt sneered ready to flash fry Endeavour
"Easy mate" Boomerang said "Huntsman track her down"
"We're in a hospital you moron, there are too many smells here" Hunstman said
"Drats" Boomerang said.
"Oh, please tell me someone else has a smarter plan besides that!" Lightningbolt said
"Excuse me" Perisher said walking over to the front counter "I'm here on HeartHero weekly, and I was hoping I could interview Rei Todoroki; it's for our married to hero specials"
"I'm sorry we can't give that information out, but if you want you can wait for her" the receptionist told her.
"Okay, thank you so much" Perisher said as she walked away "Okay, screw stealth" she said once she got back to the group
"Finally going loud" Feedback said
"Belay that!" Lightningbolt said "If they kept her here then they would have kept her blood here"
"Your point?" King Brown asked
"We leave Rei Todoroki and take her blood, that way you can get your cure and we don't have to kidnap the woman" Lightningbolt said
"Our objective was Rei Todoroki; so we take her and then we take her bloodwork" Thredbo said "Split up and look for her"
"Since when are you taking charge?" Lightningbolt asked
"Wallaby" Thredbo said
"She said if you refused we are to take charge and make sure this mission done" Perisher said
"Let's go" Thredbo said
"Oh shit" Lightningbolt said as he looked back seeing Holly and Endeavour deep in conversation 'Do I blow it?' he mentally asked as he ran off. Holly saw him
'What is James doing here, what could the Hooligans be doing in Japan?' she mentally asked.
"So should we think Good Old James Ryan is going soft on us?" Boomerang asked
"No, he's just set in what he believes in" Cruncher said
"Whatever, he's softness is going to cost us this mission" Boomerang said
"Do you know why he doesn't do kidnapping or assassinations?" King Brown asked
"No" Boomer said
"We were once sent on a mission before you and the twins joined" Cruncher said frowning
"It didn't end well, since a little girl was caught in the crossfire. A little girl who looked like Brandy" Cruncher told him, making Boomerang understand from how he saw his team's leader act from that mission to the Adelaide Central Market. He looked at them
"That's why we're not following the twin's plan, we're going to find the blood work of Rei Todoroki" Crucnher said
"So, you're after her blood" a voice said
"Holly" Cruncher said surprised
"I was here as a favour from AHAB, but imagine my surprise when I see their specialized secret operations unit sneak into the same hospital as the wife of the number one Japanese Pro Hero. What are you up to?" Holly asked
"Wallaby wants us to extract Rei so that they can use her blood to make a cure for Frostbit Syndrome" King Brown said
"Shit, who has it?" Holly asked
"The twins, they have it" King Brown said
"How long until they freeze?" Holly worryingly asked
"We're not sure. All we know is that Wallaby is trying to get us to do this" Cruncher said
"And what happens when you complete this mission?" Holly frowned
"We're not sure" Cruncher said before a small explosion was heard "Crap!"
"WHY AM I DEALING WITH THIS WALKING FIREPIT!" Captain Lightningbolt said as he blasted Endeavour, who threw a burning spear back.
"You're up to something here" Endeavour scowled as he sent another at him.
"And if I weren't" Captain Lightningbolt shouted firing back, looking behind him he saw Perisher run down the hallway "that icy bitch" he snarled as he shot a small bolt at her legs, stunning her as he turned back to the problem in front of him. Endeavour was one of the worst foes for him, the only other Japanese hero he didn't want to face is or rather was All-Might, thankfully he retired, now back to the main pain in his ass. "Look all we're here for is information on Frostbite Syndrome" he shouted using his electricity to create a shield to block Endeavour's attack.
"And you think that the best way to get that information is through my wife" he snarled "And you're trying to kidnap her"
"That is one way to look at this" Lightningbolt said as he got ready to fight.
"Where is she?" Perisher asked as walked along the halls, her legs numb thanks to her leader
"Relax," Eclipsa said quietly "We'll find her"
"We have to" Perisher said
"Excuse me" a woman said, the two turned around to see the younger woman who was with Rei and Holly "But we are we hearing an alarm?"
"There is an emergency in the hospital right now, we're just trying to find the source of it" Eclipsa said
"Okay" the young woman said not believing in what Eclipsa said
"Say aren't you relegated to Endeavour?" Perisher asked
"I am" the woman said
"FUYUMI RUN!" her father's voice roared as he three fireballs at them
"Great, he got Lightningbolt" Perisher said blasting ice at the fireballs
"Dad, what is going on?" Fuyumi panicked
"They are planning on kidnapping your mother" Endeavour frowned
"Oh great and the lightning bug talked" Perisher sighed attacking Fuyumi, Endeavour saw this in stepped in the way of the attack, cold seeping into his body, he looked up and noticed that she was lightly shivering
"Frostbit Syndrome, so you have it or starting to get it" Endeavour said
"I do" Perisher said
"And judging from your accent" Endeavour said
"HIYA!" Holly snapped unleashing a wind vortex at her "They're from Australia, I'll deal with them" Holly said "You get to Rei, she needs you!"
"Fine" Endeavour grunted, the ice melting off his body as he stood up , cracking his back as he did so "Don't let her escape"
"I won't" Holly charged at the ice user
"Oh crap!" she blocked the attack.
"Find her yet?" Boomerang asked as he watched the hunter sniff the air
"Maybe" Huntsman said "But, I'm not exactly at my best here"
"Why not?" Boomerang asked
"We're in a hospital dumbass, that means stronger smells like disinfectant, bleach and other chemicals" Huntsman snapped
"So you can't" Boomerang shrugged
"I didn't say that, it's just trickier" he said "Boofhead" he said making Cruncher and King Brown sigh
"Get that boomerang of your ready, I smell ash and attitude with hint" Huntsman said as he sniffed the air while touching the ground "of peony"
"Endeavour" Cruncher said making the four suddenly become alert and looked around
"In there" Boomerang said as he used a metal boomerang to break the lock, allowing the others to file in, Boomerang jumped in and closed the door making it tight fitting.
"A cupboard, seriously?" King Brown said
"Shush" Cruncher said as the saw the light from under the door. Once the light past the four men walked out of the cupboard
"That was close" King Brown said as he looked to see Boomerang has snagged a Doctor's coat and was pulling it on, he sighed before slapping him upside the head "No one is going to believe you are a doctor" he said
"You never know" Boomerang shrugged
"Let's just find her and get out of here before any more come" Cruncher grunted.
Rei was waiting in the test room confused, there seemed to be an emergency going on, but she didn't know what. Holly raced off once they were in and Endeavour went off somewhere, so she was kind of alone
"Hey Miss Todoroki, sorry for making you wait" Perisher said dressed up like a doctor, she made it look liek she was reading the chart, but in reality she was making sure she was going to get away with kidnapping her. "Now shall we start?"
"Yes please, but what is going on outside?" Rei asked
"Oh a group of villains causing havoc" Perisher said as she got a needle with a sedative. Once she put the needle down, she put a tourniquet on her arm and tapped the arm where a vein was "There we go" she said before she injected the sedative into her arm, knocking Rei out "Perfect" she smirked as she went to move her
"Don't even think about it Victoria" Holly said barging into the room
"Sky Lark, what are you doing here?" Perisher snarled
"Stopping you from creating an international incident" Holly frowned
"So what?" Perisher asked as she watched her brother sneak up behind Skylark "we need her"
"Because you're dying?" Holly asked "there are other ways"
"Not for us" Perisher said "This is our last chance, if we don't get her DNA and make the cure we're ice blocks"
"And we don't want that" Thredbo said before behind her, Holly spinning around and using an air blast to knock him back; spinning back aroudn just in time to force Perisher's hands to aim upward making a spike of ice stick into the ceiling. The twins were about to attack her when the area felt warmer
"YOU!" Endeavour growled
"Oh crap!" they shouted as they tried to get out of there.
"I don't think so!" he roared.
"That hurt" Captain Lightningbolt groaned as he walked into a treatment room and saw a young woman in there "Hi"
"Hi" she said
"You got any paikillers?" he asked
"No idea, I'm not a doctor" she said
"You alright?" Capt Lightningbolt asked
"My dad told me to hide as a group of villains are here" she said "I hope my mother is okay; they might be after her since she's married to the number one Japanese hero"
"Right target wrong reason, they need her for a way to prevent Frostbite syndrome, a pair of twins after her" Lightningbolt told her looking for painkiller
"But my mum!" the woman said
"Has Himura Blood, they are not able to get any type of frostbite when using their ice quirks, and your father married her for that quirk so any children he has wouldn't burn. You're brother Shoto is proof to that" Capt Lightningbolt explained
"You're one of them!" the woman gasped afraid
"I am, Captain Lightningbolt nice to meet you" he said smiling and shaking her hand before he looked for something "Me; I was against the plan to kidnap her, why take the body when the blood is easier to transport?" he asked
"That's true I guess" she said
"You're Endeavour's daughter correct?" Capt Lightningbolt asked
"Why?" the woman said
"Can I have a blood sample?" he simply asked.
"There she is" King Brown said as he peered at the target
"Now we grab her and bolt" Boomerang said as fire, ice and wind flew about the room
"Not now" Cruncher groaned
"I'm going in" King Brown said as he slithered along the floor, avoiding most of the action, his tail gentle wrapping around Rei and moving her
"Hey King, when and if you get Rei bring her to the treatment room" Lightningbolt said over the radio
"Why?" King Brown asked curiously
"Because the mission is a bust if Skylark and Endeavour are no doubt picking apart Thredbo and Perisher!" Lightningbolt snapped
"I got it," King Brown said as he slithered to his group quietly
"Now let's go!" Cruncher urged
"We're taking her to a treatment room" King Brown said
"We heard" Huntsman said
"I'm guessing we're going with the blood plan" Cruncher said
"Come on!" Boomerang ran off as the sound of large explosions rang out making the group run.
"And done" Captain Lightningbolt said pull the needle out of her arm and placing a cotton swab on the entry point "Thank you Miss Todoroki"
"No worries" the woman said before the room shook as the door came off
"Sorry mate" Feedback said as he and the other besides the twins filed in
"So you are going to draw her blood?" Cruncher asked as he help set up
"Yeah, and I drew hers" Capt Lightningbolt said getting some more test tubes ready
"Pass one here" Cruncher said as he was passed a tube and placed it in the needle drawing the blood "How much blood are we taking?"
"Three to be on the safe side" Capt Lightningbolt said "Huntsman you and King Brown guard the door"
"What do I do?" Endeavour's daughter asked
"Um" they all looked at each other
"Here dear, a cookie so you can recover a bit" Eclipsa smiled
"Thank you" she smiled enjoying the rather large cookie. "Oh I'm Fuyumi"
"Nice to meet you" they all said
"Got it" Cruncher said pulling the last one out before patching Rei up
"Cooler" King Brown said as he threw a box to Cruncher as he put the blood tests in the container
"Wallaby this is Lightningbolt, things have gone tits up in the worse way we engaged two heroes" Lightningbolt said as he left the room
"SHIT!" Wallaby shouted
"We're in need of an extraction ASAP!" Lightningbolt said
"Fine, we'll extract you" she said sounding pissed.
"Fallback" Wallaby said to Thredbo and Perisher
"What?' they asked as a spear of flames was thrown at them
"You're being extracted" Wallaby said over their radio
"But we haven't finished" Perisher said
"You've failed this mission" Wallaby growled
"COME ON" Capt Lightningbolt shouted
"James?" Holly asked
"Hey honey, I'll tell you later; love you, bye!" Lightningbolt shouted grabbing the twins
"What...just happened?" Endeavour asked
"You don't want to know" Holly groaned.
"That mission backfired big time" Wallaby said ne they team was back on their mobile based "And what's worse is that this may cause an international incident; thanks to you lot"
"Blame Frosty and Elsa there!" Boomerang said
"If we listened to Captain Lightningbolt from the beginning we could have done this easier, but they went with their plan to kidnap; it was a stroke of bad fortune that you put them in charge!" Cruncher griped
"So what, we're dead anyway, with no way of getting rid of our Frostbite Syndrome" Perisher said
"Easy Victoria" Thredbo said comforting his twin, then King Brown presented the Cooler
"What is in there?" Wallaby asked
"Plan B" Capt Lightningbolt said as Wallaby opened it up to reveal the blood sampled "Both Rei and her daughter"
"I see, we should be able to use this to make the cure for the twins" Wallaby said
"Good, not NEVER send us on this type of mission again!" Capt Lightningbolt said frowning "Now if you'll excuse me, I have to call my wife and talk to her about this DISASTER!" he snapped storming off.
G'Day Guys Grizz here and we're back with the third Hooligans chapter and this time we're in Japan with a quick mission to do the dumbest things for the noblest of reasons, and yeah Feedback is in the Hooligans now only question is that 'will Feedback stay with them or head back to the bad guys' will I'll let Mrotrax answer that one, have fun finding out.
Now I want to say that I have some fun stuff coming up including a special for Australia Day on the 26th of January so you may get two chapters that week and man am I excited since I haven't actually done anything for Australia day in awhile and will be in here not a separate fic like the Chrissy specials so look forward to that
