"Thanks for doing this Belle" Indy said as she and the rest of her classmates were brought up to Belle's private beachside manor for the Australia Day weekend. Belle smiled and hugged her sister
"No worries Indy, you guys deserved it" Belle laughed as the rest of the classmate were looking around
"Got to say Miss Beachley this is premium" Kylie said smiling
"It's okay, say isn't, one of you guys missing?" Belle asked "And please call me Belle"
"Oh that would be Kat; she said she needed to head home to Darwin" Julie said "She'd hope she can come down here afterwards"
"Well you guys have three days here:" Belle said "so no need for her to rush, I'm guessing it involves her family?"
"Oh yeah, her uncle and aunt are becoming citizens of Australia" Bruce said as he looked out at the waves
"About time, I mean I heard what had happened with them, I mean they had a hard time coming here" Matilda said
"Okay" Belle said smiling.
Soon the group were settled in, choosing to play a game of Kelly pool.
"OH, COME ON!" Oscar shouted as his twin sister sunk the ball with his number on it
"Sorry Ozzy" Nikki apologised
"It's okay Nik" Oscar sighed sitting down,
"At east you weren't the first one out" Crash said
"I'm sorry!" Indy exclaimed
"I know I know" Crash smiled as his new girlfriend hugged him
"Still can't believe those two finally got together" Paul said
"No kidding" Mack said
"And you and Fern" Zack reminded him as he got up and sunk Nikki's ball.
"Aww" Nikki frowned
"Sorry Nik" Zack said before he sunk Angie's ball
"Oh, well at least now I can go pick out which bikini I am going to wear" Angie shrugged
"Why not the one from when the Kirby guys visited?" Julie asked
"Oh yeah" Angie smiled.
"They were good choices" Kelly said
"Kirby visit?" Belle asked as she walked over with Indy
"Oh yeah some Kirby High students visited, when we had that rain" Zack said
"I See" Belle said. "So you hitting the beach?"
"In a minute" Paul said.
"So where are the girls?" Tim asked
"Getting ready" Oscar said slamming down a caramel mocha
"Easy on the coffee there" Wyatt snapped as he hammered in some stumps
"Beach cricket?" Zack asked
"Yeah" Wyatt said looking at him "You do still play don't you?"
"Not in awhile" Zack said as he picked up a beach cricket ball as Bruce grabbed teh bat
"Come on mate, have a bit of a bowl while we wait" Bruce said
"Sure" Zack said as he bowled a shot.
"So, where at the guys?" Julie asked
"HEADS!" one of the guys shouted before Angie quickly grabbed the cricket ball right in front of Julie's face
"There" Angie said pitching it and hitting the wickets as Tim nearly made it
"Wicked arm you guy there Angie" Oscar said
"Thanks" Angie said as she and the girls walked over to the guys
"Looking good ladies" Crash said
"And you as well, now that you're not wearing that white and red striped abomination" Indy said hugging him
"Now if only we can get our other stubborn couple together" Bruce said
"You mean" Oscar said indicating Wyatt and Cathy
"How are we going to do it though?" Julie asked
"Why not just ask if they like each other and go from there" Kylie said as she was blowing up a beach ball
"Good point" the couples said
"Enough of that, why don't we go for a swim?" Matilda asked
"Sounds goods" Angie said before she was hit in the head by the ball Kylie had just blown up, "Why you"
"Uh oh" Kylie said as she got up and ran for the water. The rest of the girls rushing to join them laughing in joy.
Meanwhile Kat and Jack were among those who were watching the citizen ship ceremony as some of Kat's relatives had come from South Korea to live in Australia, unlike them Kat was born in Australia, her father moving to Darwin due to work and meeting her mother who is a Korean Australian they loved it ever since. One of the reasons Kat never went back to was because of the Reptilian Heteromorph next to her. She leaned on him as he patted her hand smiling; her parents were nervous at first since they heard he was a bit of a trouble maker but after meeting him and finding out how nice he was basically adopted him into their family, her mother happy to have another mutant into the family. After that the two families met and got on like a house on fire.
"Someone's happy" Jack said.
"Of course, my family is now over here and we don't have to head back to Korea; besides I would miss you too much baby" Kat kissed his snout making his scale blush
"Easy you two" Kat's father said making Kat blush and reply to him back in South Korean, making him smile
"Now please be upstanding as the national anthem is play" the hosts of the event called out making everyone stand up and sing along with the Australian national anthem. The new citizen's having a bit of trouble wit the words,. "Now join me in welcoming my newest Australian citizens" the host cheered making the crowd cheer loudly. Kat jumping slightly on the spot with Jack next to her chuckling and smiling at the adorableness of his girlfriend.
After Kat and her family were waiting until her other relatives came over,
"KAT!" her cousin said running over and hugging her
"Congrats Juni" Kat smiled
"Thanks" Juni said "Now I can try and get my Australian Heroic License" Juni said smiling
"I hope so, but if not you can still head to Jackman as a third year" Kat said
"Is that your school?" Juni asked
"Yes, it's the best in the country" Jack said "Oh where are my manners, I'm Jack Hogan and I'm dating this pretty kitty" Jack laughed
"Juni Moon" she said
"So, what now?" Jack asked
"I'm sure mum and dad have a banquet to celebrate, then we head for the Gold Coast" Kat said
"Oh please tell me we're not using the HVT" Jack groaned
"HVT?" Juni asked
"High Velocity Transport, basically aircraft that can get us anywhere in the country lightning fast, It affects his stomach" Kat told her.
Oh" Juni said blushing "So what's on the Gold Coast?"
"My friends were invited up there for the weekend, but since you guys were becoming citizens, I figured we'd come here first"
"Cool" Juni said
"Yeah" Kat said before the trio were called, they went over and prepared to leave.
Back on the Gold Coats the group were enjoying a meal of pizza
"Oh come on man, who ordered the ham and PINEAPPLE!" Wyatt said
"I did" Indy said taking a piece "What?"
That's disgusting, I MEAN WHO HAS FRUIT ON A SAVORY PIZZA!"
"A Canadian Greek" Indy said
"Pass me a piece of the BBQ Chicken," Crash said
"Sure honey" Indy smiled.
"Those two are cute together" Paul said
"I agree" Matilda said "So you and Olivia huh, when did that start?"
"Not saying" Paul frowned
"Any seafood?" Mack asked
"AH here" Kylie said handing him a piece
"Cheers" Mack said
"Meat lovers" Bruce said taking a big bite of the piece he had, enjoying the tastes of beef, sausage, pepperoni, bacon, cheese and sauce. Kylie giggle as she wiped some sauce off his knee.
"Oh yum" Angie said taking a bite of a yiros pizza, getting some garlic sauce on her cheek, which Zack wiped off
"Any Supreme?" Nikki asked
"Oh here" Belle said as she handed Nikki a piece
"Ozzy, no coffee man" Zack said
"But, come on" Oscar said
"No you and Nikki used your quirk during the game too much" Angie said
"Especially after retrieving Matilda's top" Kelly said biting into a bacon cheeseburger pizza slice.
"Can we not mention that again, thank you" Matilda groaned
"How did that even come loose?" Mack asked
"I have no idea" Matilda groaned
"It's okay girl, at least you had your back to the guys when it happened" Cathy smiled
"Yeah, good thing" Matilda growled at her.
"We're just kidding Matilda" Angie said
"Indeed" Nikki said enjoying the slice of Peri-Peri Chicken she picked up
"Isn't that spicy?" Oscar asked
"Sure is, but a nice spicy" Nikki smiled
"Is it bad that I miss having Kat and Jack around?" Julie asked
"Nah love" Oscar said holding her
"Man this is good, where did you get it from?" Zack asked
"A local joint, their jaws dropped when I placed the order, because I only get 1 or 2, but never a dozen large pizzas or 12 garlic breads" Belle laughed
"What we're growing heroes" Paul said
"No kidding" Belle laughed, "But you guys are some of the best hero students I've seen"
"Thanks" the class said
"But that being said, you guys do have to be more careful, especially since you guys might have pissed off the entire Guild, and Cabal with your defence of your classmate from Spot" Belle said
"What do you mean?" Mack asked
"I mean we were careful" Tim said
"And we sent him back home" Billy said enjoying his pizza
"Because they may target you like the League of Villains do with the UA Students" Bell said "And I want you guy to be careful" Belle said
"We understand sis" Indy said hugging her sister
"Good" Bell smiled "Now I hope you saved room for dessert because I got some Lamington ice cream" she happily smiled.
Angie got up early and put on her fitness gear before heading down to the beach, hoping to get a quick workout in before the others wake up. She gently started stretching, warming up the different muscles she needed to exercise, including her wings
"HEY ANGIE!" a voice called out, making the winged hero look to see her missing classmates Kat and Jack had rocked up
"Hey guys, about time you got here" Angie said hugging Kat "how was the flight?"
"I think I left my stomach at the Darwin airport" Jack groaned.
"Still having trouble with the HVT" Angie said
"Yeah" Kat said "so the others asleep?"
"Yeah" Angie said "I'll take you up to the house" she said unzipping her jacket and walking them up
"It smells salty" Jack said
"That's the ocean " Angie said
"Oh, I'm not use to it" Jack said
"I'm a river kind of guy" Jack stated
"Okay" the two said.
Once they got inside the house, the sound and smell of breakfast being cooked filled the noses of the three teenagers
"Oh good morning" Belle said smiling
"Belle, what are you doing up this early?"Angie asked
"I thought I would cook you guys breakfast, and meet the two that just came in" Belle said "I hope you didn't have to wake up too early" she said
"No, we took the HVT" Kat said
"I thought I heard our lucky cat" Julie said as she and Kylie walked out in jog bras and yoga pants.
"Hey guys" Kat smiled hugging them
"Good flight?" Kylie asked
"Yeah it was" Kat said.
"Morning guys" Indy said slowly waking up
"Hey Indy, you awake yet?" Belle asked
"Nah uh" Indy cutely said leaning on the breakfast bar before a cup of coffee was slid over to her. "Thank you" she said as she enjoyed the rich drink, waking her and making her realise her friends were here "oh hello guy when did you get here?"
"Just now" Jack said flopping down on a couch
"SON OF A BITCH!" Paul exclaimed "Jack, get off"
"Oops sorry" Jack rolled off
"geez man" Paul said cracking his back "Wait, JACK!" Paul shouted before they were all pelted by pillows as the guys were roused by the smell of food and the sound of Paul being flopped on
"G'Day mate, how was the ceremony?" Zack asked
"Not bad, man" Jack said before he told them all about it as more of the students woke up, several helping Belle with cooking breakfast
"That sounds lovely" Nikki smiled
"Indeed" Matilda asked
"So what's on the agenda today?" Indy asked as the phone rang.
"Belle over here!" a photgrapher said as Belle posed in her hero costume. The Jackman students were nearby
"Sorry guys, this was a last minute thing" Indy shrugged
"It's okay, at least we're not slacking around the house" Jack said as he and Bruce moved some equipment around for the behind the scenes crew. They were surprised when Belle showed up with their students
"Hype guys why aren't we being attacked?" Mel asked
"Australia is special when it come to days off" Zack said making everyone turn to him "You see since their a silent agreement between the heroes of villains. On certain public holidays no one does anything. The villains don't do crimes, the heroes don't fight them and everything and those days are Australia day, Easter, Christmas and Anzac Day"
"Oh" Mel said
"Still can't believe that the villains like to have a bit of a bludge" Oscar said
"More likely trying to get rid of the hang over' Belle said as she walked over "And thanks guys for just being cool with this"
"It's okay sis, trust me on this" Indy said
"Good, because you're up next" Belle laughed
"What?" Indy asked as Belle pushed her towards the changing area "But we're on a beach!"
"So what?" Belle asked
"Can we join?" Angie asked
"I don't see why not, I've got some bikinis you guys can try on" Belle said
"Nice" the guys smirked. Zack frowned for a moment and headed off
"I Gotta check on something" he said.
"Ah, this is great" Captain Lightningbolt said as he laid back on the beach, the rest of his team with him
"So you guys do nothing on this day while the heroes are taking the day off?" Feedback asked
"Yep" "And they just agreed to this?" Feedback asked
"Oh course darling" Eclipsa said as she laid back wearing a black, and silver bikini
"So just relax mate" King Brown said as he looked up and saw someone approaching them "Well, I'll be" he said as he got up "ZACK!" King Brown smiled as he saw his friend's son
"Hey Adam" Zack laughed
"Zack!" Captain Lightningbolt said getting up and hugging his son "What are you doing here?" he asked.
"Indy's sister invited us up here for the weekend" Zack explained
"Cool" Captain Lightnigbolt laughed
"So this is your son huh?" Feedback asked glaring at Zack
"Yeah I am, mate" Zack glared back
"I'm Feedback" the American villain smirked
"I know, I met your sister Natalie" Zack frowned
"Now now boys" Perisher said as she got up and in-between the two guys who looked ready to throw down
"So I was wonder Zack" his father asked "You want to get some grub?"
"I'm sure I can spare a moment" Zack said as the two went off smiling
"Does he?" Feedback asked
"Oh yeah" Perisher said
"All the time, he's a big family man. One of the reasons he happily agreed to become a the leader of the Hooligans" Thredbo said.
"Where did Zack go?" Bruce asked
"Not sure" Oscar said
"I think I know" Angie frowned "I saw the Hooligans earlier on the other side of the beach"
"The hooligans?" Kat asked
"The AHAB special operations team that is top secret, I only know about it because I'm dating the son of the leader of it" Angie said
"I see" Kat said
"Oh well, I think it's cool he's having some time with his dad" Cathy said munching on a Lamington
"How are you feeling?" Angie asked
"What do you mean?" Cathy responded
"Given what the whole invasion day thing that has half of the nation divided?" Angie asked
"Oh you mean if I stand with the others of my heritage? Nah mate. It isn't celebrating just the founding of Australia, but all of Australia. So yeah" Cathy said
"I see" Angie smiled.
"I am never doing that again" Indy said walking over and taking a seat, wearing a designer outfit.
"But it looks good on you" Matilda said
"Thanks " She said as she took a sip of her drink. "Anyway your turn Matilda" Indy said
"Okay" Matilda said heading over to the changing area.
"There are my two favourite boys' Holly said as she spotted Zack and James walking over to her
"Mum, you as well?" Zack asked hugging her
"Yeah; I had some work in the area so I thought I'd stay up here until the weekend is over"
"Happy Australia day mum" Zack hugged her
"Happy Australia day baby, now who wants some burgers with the lot?"
"Yes please" the two guys said laughing as she went and ordered
"Things have been crazy haven't they mate?" James asked
"Sure has dad, it sure has" Zack said as he watched the sky next to his old man.
"COME ON YOU GUY ITS GOING TO START SOON!" Nikki cried
"We're coming Nik, no need to rush us" Oscar said
"Besides some of us are carrying things" Jack said as he was carrying a big cooler
"So Captain Lightningbolt how's the villainy been?" Belle asked as she, Holly and James were walking alongside the teenagers
"Not bnad, always something to nick" James laughed
"Please tell me you haven't" Holly frowned at him
"No, no I have not
"HERE!" Nikki said as the teenagers stopped and pulled out blankets and soft drinks.
"This is the perfect spot" Belle said as they watched other people gathering in the area
"So they do this every year?" Mel asked
"Yeah" Indy said "Kind of a way to send off the Australia day"
"And what a day it's been" Zack said laying back his arm around Angie. Soon a whistling was heard before a large explosion was heard as they all looked up and saw the sky light up with fireworks, illuminating the area in bright reds, pinks, greens and gold; the sounds of awe was heard from the group
"HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY!" They all cried out happily as they enjoy the finale to a great long weekend.
G'day Guys Grizz here and like I said a second My Hero Australian chapter this week, mostly because it is Australia Day tomorrow from when I'm posting this so I figured it was a good excuse to actually post a second one this with, only you guys won't be seeing one on Sun/Mon like usual. Now this is sort of not following on timeline wise since we start school her eafter Australia Day, so this would be before their second year when the next chapter they'll still be in their first year
Now I just want to wish any and all Aussies reading this I wish you a happy Australia Day no matter where you are in the world. I hope you enjoy it and stay safe and don't drink too much
