Logan was in his office thinking about how the spot had attacked his school and nearly kidnapped one of his student. The mere thought of it making his blood burn as he gritted his teeth
"They'll rue the day they attacked" Logan started before a ping sounded on his computer. He looked at it and went rigid in shock, reading it again and again to make sure that this wasn't a joke
"But the Murray!" he exclaimed making a couple of teacher run in
"Are you okay sir?" Dragonfly asked
"Does he sound okay?"Smallish replied
"You are not going to believe this" Logan said showing them the email.
"By the Murray is right" Dragonfly said.
"KEEP THOSE LEGS UP GUYS!" Mr Franklin said a she was teaching PE with Class 1-1. They were currently doing laps in the gym
"Come on, we had a class clash a couple of days ago" Jack said
"But we also kicked a villains ass" Bruce stated
"I can't keep going" Kat whined
"Just a few more" Indy told her
"Come on" Angie encouraged her
"FINE!" Kat shouted getting a boost of speed and continued
"That's it baby" Jack cheered before the announcement chime sounded
"What's wrong?" Mr Franklin asked concerned
"Attention all Staff and Students, I have a major announcement, We've been chosen to represent Australia at the Tri-Heroic Nation Games; for the first time in 30 years" Mr Jackman said
"WHAT!" the student said
"No way, I wonder who our opponents are?" Mr Franklin asked
"What do you mean?" Angie asked.
"I mean that the Tri-Heroic Nations is an event where three countries are chosen out of the nation of the Heroic United nations, which the current standing in about 21, so a 7th of them compete. Now the thing that makes it so interesting is this: The three contenders don't know who is who, so in other words we we're fighting until we get to the Island of coliseum " Mr Franklin said
"The island of coliseum?" Matilda asked
"Think of it like I-Island, only made for the Tri-0Heroica Nations game
"So we won't know we're playing against until he get there right?" Zack asked
"Correcting, and its completely random so we don't have a way of picking who we fight, because quite frankly, I won't mind you guys striking down the students of Watiki High of Heroics in New Zealand" Billy said
"Sternben Academia of Germany" Paul said
"Paladin" Bruce said
"McAvoy" Oscar said
"I think taking on both UA and Kirby would be an awesome amount of fun" Zack smirked
"Kirby and UA?" Wyatt asked
"Yeah" Zack said "specially since we've seen the talent from them, especially since the Gentlemean incident" Zack said
"Yeah, they do have a good relation with this so they would be going all out against us" Angie said
"When is it?" Jack asked
"Usually a week of the invitation being since out, now there are three basically events; the first years, the second years and then the third years. And you can guess the strongest gets called the champion and they are automatically called back, sadly I don't know who the last champion was" Mr Franklin said
"What do you say guys?" Zack asked
"LET'S DO THIS!" the class shouted in hope of winning.
"Just kill me mow" Matilda said as she looked at the Tri-Hero Nation uniform they were wearing,
"It doesn't look to bad" Zack said as he admired it.
"Green and gold are our national colours after all" Angie said
"You're saying that because your wings have a golden hue to the" Kylie said looking at the gym pants and polo shirt combo which was dark green with gold stripes going from the right shoulder to the left hip with the Southern Cross on the right sleeve and the kangaroo on the left sleeve
"This is it, is everyone ready?" Mr Jackman asked
"Yes sir" the class said
"Alright, do us proud Class 1-1" Mr Jackman said
"You Got it" Bruce nodded
"OZZIE! OZZIE! OZZIE!" Mr jackman cheered
OI, OI, OI!" the class shouted back
"know that whoever you face you will make me proud about how hard you fight these event, after all he last time Australia was here 30 years ago, but now you're here ready for a fight"
"AS WE WELCOME THE NATIONS!" the announcer called out
"Now go on' their headmaster said smiling.
"Yes sir" the first years said
"WELCOME TO THE 44th TRI HEROIC NATIONS! " the announcer shouted "A special tournament held every 3 years! Like the individual Hero academy games these are special games that replace the pre-quirks called the Olympics, Now the next four days will be filled with action, excitement and thrills as three nations: The returning champions and two randomly selected nations to go against, so without further ado let's get things started, so get ready AS WE WELCOME THE NATIONS!" he called out making those attending in real life cheered. "And first up is one no one expected: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN AFTER 30 YEARS AND 10 GAMES AWAY WELCOME BACK TO COLISEUM ISLAND...AUSTRALIA!" the announcer called as several sections of the crowd were one their feets cheering loudly as the team from Jackman walked in, they were all in shock
"I didn't think we'd get this reception" Angie said
"No, but we need it" Zack said as he looked to his left seeing the teams of the second and third years
"Let's do this!" Oscar shouted making the three Australian get hyped out as they were now in the middle of the arena.
"NEXT UP LADIES AND GENTLEMEN I HOPE YOU'RE READY FOR THE NEXT NATION, LET ME HEAR YOU GO PLUS ULTRA FOR THE NATION OF JAPAN!" The announcer shouted as walking out with a set of white gym clothes, a red circle on their chest as the pants faded into a red colour were the first of Jackman's opponents.
"JAPAN!" the Aussie kids said
"That means UA!" Bruce gasped, Zack smiling at this as he saw a familiar green unruly mop of hair.
"NOW LADIES AND GENTLEMEN TIME TO WELCOME BACK OUR REIGNING CHAMPIONS WITH BACK TO BACK VICTORIES OF THE LAST TWO GAMES: AMERICA!" the announcer said as there walking out all smiles and cheers were the winners of the last games walked out in red, white and blue uniforms.
"Isn't that?" Kylie asked
"The guys from Kirby?" Julie added on
"Oh shit, I think Zack was right" Bruce muttered making everyone look at the first year team captain
"Struth" Zack shouted.
"YO IZZY, BOB!" Zack shouted making the two he called out to look over at him, both of them smiling
"Hey Zack" Bobby said bro hugging him, before Izuku doing the same
"Good to see you again" Izuku said
"Yeah, I mean the last time all three of us was together we were facing down a madman" Zack laughed
"Gentlemean" The scowled.
"Anyway congrats on being chosen, the 34th was the last time Australia was picked, and it wasn't pretty" Izuku said
"Yeah well, we can fix that this year" Zack smiled
"USA, USA, USA, USA, USA, USA!" the crowd chanted as the Kirby team waved and cheered
"They're fired up" Izuku said
"Yeah we are, best thing to hear them chant for us" Bobby smirked
"Watch this" Zack smirked as he walked away from the group. Izuku and Bobby looked at him as he inhaled
"AUSSIE, AUSSIE, AUSSIE!" Zack called out
"OI, OI, OI!" the crowd cheered back
AUSSIE, AUSSIE, AUSSIE!" Zack called out again
"OI, OI, OI!" the crowd cheered back as well, making Zack smirked before Angie walked over
"May I baby?" she sweetly asked
"Go for it love" Zack kissed her cheek and stepped back chuckled
"Do you come from a land down under, where women glow and men chunder" she sweetly sang
"Can you hear, can you hear the thunder" the rest of their fellow students sang out before the crowd joined "YOU BETTER RUN YOU BETTER TAKE COVER!"
"oh shit" Bobby said
"That was something" Izuku gulped
"Reminds me of the International Australian Rules Tournament, man that was fun watching the winners of that try and not to get flogged by the Aussies" Zack said
"Australian Rules?" Izuku asked
"Their national football code" Bobby answered
"Ah" Izuku nodded.
Marly Airheart was one of the best third years at Jackman, some her the phasing hero due to the fact she was usually unflappable. Nothing would or could shake her especially when she used her quirk to make herself intangible and phase through things, only that wasn't the case right now; for standing there was a sight she never thought she would be seeing, clad in the American uniform were her cousins long though deceased.
"Hey Phasma?" her best friend Cody asked as he saw her "You good?"
"No Cody...I'm not" Marly said "I'm not good" she seethed before walking over to the two Airheart girls
"Brittany I'm not a little girl anymore" she whined.
"Could have fooled me" Brittany said
"YOU TWO!" Marly shouted making Riley jump into Brittany's arms
"What do you want?" Brittany asked suddenly being protective of Riley who was placed behind her big sister
"Oh you're and Australi-" Riley was cut off by Marly hugging them tightly
"We thought you two were dead" She teared up
"You know us?" Brittany said
"Oh sorry, I'm Marley Airheart" Marly introduced herself shocking the two girls. "And I'm your cousin"
"No FREAKING WAY!" the Airheart sisters said
"So they were right when they said we had Australian blood." Riley said
"Yeah and it seems to have come from our dad's side" Brittany smiled "We have more family" she said softly.
"I know" Riley started to tear up, Marly doing the same and gently pulled the pair into a loving hug. The Americans and the Australians were watching this a smile on all of their faces at the sight.
"Did you know?" Bobby asked
"Nah mate" Zack shook his head.
"ALRIGHT FOLKS WE'RE JUST ABOUT TO START THE FIRST YEAR EVENTS!" the announcer said making the older year levels head back to their ready areas.
"This is it" Izuku said
"This is it" Bobby sternly said
"This is it mates" Zack smiled
"NOW PICK YOU PLAYERS FOR THE FIRST EVENT!" the announcer said. "WHICH WILL BE...THE TREASURE DIVE!" he shouted as the screen showed a wave over a treasure chest "You have seven minutes to dive down for the points disks; gold are ten, silver are five and bronze are 1. Now you can come up for air and deposit your points. Just keep an eye on them since they can be stolen from you while underwater." he said "Now let's see who they have to play from each nation
"I'll go" Jack said as he glared at the water
"Makes sense" Zack said
"Croc do move well underwater" Oscar said
"The Japanese may choose Tsuyu" Jack said as he walked over to the pool, where Odessa and Tsuyu were waiting. So Jack removed his shirt and walked to the edge.
"Hey good luck to you" Tsuyu said
"The same to you" Odessa nodded
"IN 3 2 1...DIVE!" The announcer said as the three dove in.
Jack's specialised underwater eyelids closed giving him ability to see in the pool's crystal water. Looking around he saw two silver disks; he quickly swam over to them and grabbed them beforee resurfacing and banking them gaining 10 points
"Not bad Jack" Odessa said dropping a silver and two bronze for 7 points
"Thanks" Jack then replied before they saw Tsuyu banking on of each point getting 16
"you're good" they two said at the same time
"Thanks" Tsuyu said diving back down, The other two dove down. Jack saw a gold disk and grabbed it, only to stop and look behind him and saw the Odessa was drown. Tsuyu noticed this as well and swam quickly over, looking as to why it seem that Odessa was being held in place. Snarling Jack dove deeper down and looked around for anything; the announcer was muffled due to the water, softly growling he looked around but couldn't find anything. Feeling something wasn't right looked to see Tsuyu dragging Odessa to the service, but he felt something move in the water, heading from them, growling he swam towards the girls. Tsuyu saw this and tried to swim faster; only to be dragged in the opposite direction.
'There is something in the water" Jack though 'And I think I know how to expose it' he smirked spraying his quirk out underwater, making it slighly cloudly expect the shape of a human that looked clear 'THERE!' he declared
"Oh that was clever, now you can see me" the figure laughed "I bet your wondering who I am?" he asked "I'm the one who is going to ruin the games, for I am Atlas" he laughed before forced disappeared into Bubbles "HAVE FUN!" he laughed. Jack growled again before bringing the girls to the surface as the buzzer went
"TIME!" the announce said "The winners are JAPAN on 16, Australia with 10 and America with just 7; but it is clear there was an attempt to sabotage the game. So we'll investigate who that was" the announcer said "Now, we'll have a ten minute break"
"Atlas?" Zack asked
"Yeah, that was the jerk's name. It was like he was made out of the water" Jack frowned
"But why aim for the girls?" Oscar asked
"I'm not sure, but I don't think we should pick any of them for the next round" Jack admitted
"No; that's why I'll be one of the players" Zack said
"Same here" Oscar said
"And take Wyatt" Bruce said
"Why not you?" Jack asked as the others looked at him
"Because I have a feeling his quirk may be more helpful than mine" Bruce said "Plus I want to see if there is anyone named Atlas." Bruce said
"Knock knock" a voice said
"Hey Bob! Come on in mate" Zack called out as Bobby, Izuku, Tsuyu, Iida and Odessa came in "what's up?"
"Thank you" Odessa said
"Indeed thank you, without you my classmate and my girlfriend would be at the bottom of the pool dead" Iida bowed to Jack, who's scales were turning brown from him blushing. He rubbed the back of his head bashfully
"It was the right thing to do, as a heroic student we must take up the call of heroism any time it appears" Jack said
"Wow that was corny" Zack said
"And cheesy" Bobby asked
"Shut it" Jack snapped making the group laugh. It was then Bobby turned serious
"You got any idea who that guy was?" he asked
"No, but we have a name Atlas" Jack said making the two Americans freeze
"Atlas? as in the map?" Odessa asked
"Yeah, why" Jack answered.
"You'd have an easier time fighting the league of villains, the guild and the coalition at the same time and winning then this guy" Bobby said
"No one know who he is, what nationality he is or what he looks like all they know is his name Atlas and his quirk: Earthbound which allows him to change the composition of his body to anything natural on planet earth" Odessa explained
"One second he would be water the next stone then fire" Bobby said
"I thought he was a Myth!" Iida panicked
"And what's worse is, what he's body is made out of he has mastery over" Bobby added
"Shit, his like the Disaster Quartet" Zack whispered "And those bastards are ones that every villain stays clear of"
"So how are we going to deal with this?" Bobby asked.
"AND THAT IS TIME!" the announcer said, signalling the end of the break
"Let's do this" the heroes said.
"OKAY; LET'S SEE WHO THEY HAVE FOR THIS ROUND!" the announcer said as the first years all walked out. Each of the groups nodded as three from each side walked out "FROM TEAM JAPAN WE HAVE... IZUKU MIDORIYA, SHOTO TODOROKI AND KATSUKI BAKUGO!"
"Great the Three Musketeers of Class 1-A" Angie groaned
"They're not going to go down easily" Riley nodded
"FROM TEAM USA WE HAVE...BOBBY WALKER, REGGIE MILLS AND TERRANCE STEEL!" The announcer continued
"they picked Terrance?" Julie asked
"That could be trouble" Kat said
"I Agree" Bruce nodded "But I think the team we have is able to get the job done" he chuckled
"AND FINALLY FOR TEAM AUSTRALIA WE HAVE...ZACK WALKER, OSCAR COSGROVE AND WYATT JENKINS!" the announcer called
"Why would they chose Wyatt?" Matilda asked
"I hope they have a good reason" Billy frowned.
"THE NAME OF THE GAME IS TRI-BALL!" the announcer said "This game is a simple one, get the ball in the goal, but why is it called Tri-ball...simple its played in three two half rounds. After each round ends the nations switch end. The first half of the first round has Australia attacking and Japan defending" the announcer explained. "The second round will be Japan vs America and then the final round will be Australia vs America. The winner will be the nation with the most points. SO LET'S GET TO THE FIRST ROUND JAPAN vs AUSTRALIA!" the announcer shouted "GO!
"SO how are we going to handle this?" Izuku asked
"I'm not sure, but we have to keep them from" Todoroki started only to be interrupted by the sound of the goal siren going off
"WHAT!" Bakugo snapped "HOW THE HECK DID THEY GET A POINT"
"the game just started" Izuku looked around as the ball popped up in the centre of the attacker's field, the three kept their eyes on it. One second the ball was in teh air the next it wasn't. They all looked around for it, only to hear the buzzer go again
"HOW!" Bakugo snarled
"Todoroki!" Izuku shouted
"You got it" Todoroki stamped on the ground making a wall of ice in front of the goal
"That will stop them" Bakugo smirked, only to have the wall be destroyed.
"Oops" Zack smiled as he had destroyed the wall
"Nice one mate" Oscar said "We've got 2 points"
"Time for a hattrick" Wyatt said as the ball appeared, flying up in the air
"Play time round three" Oscar said grabbing the ball and quickly throwing it to Wyatt who was near the goalpost. With a firm throw the ball was in the goal for a third time
"YES!" they all cheered
"AGAIN!" Bakugo snapped
"Come on you three, KEEP UP!" Oscar sped off towards the ball.
"STOP HIM!" the trio of Japanese heroic students shouted rushing at him.
"Oh yes, the tri-heroic nations, I remember having such a blast when I was here as a hero, of course I was a pro and so I couldn't compete." Atlas laughed as he watch the Australians decimate the Japanese players "I have to say, having a speedster, a guy who can hit anything and a dual elementalist is fun" he laughed. "And against One for All, explosions and icy hot this will be fun" he laughed, his body being revealed looking like quartz with a verdant green mohawk. He opened his eyes revealing them to be a pair of spinning Earth "This is the last one, and I'm going to enjoy tearing down this heroic society and world." he said.
G'Day Guys Grizz here and wow what a way to start off the next major mulitparter: The Tri-Heroics featuring Class 1-A from UA in the first time in the main fic, they were in the xmas spin off, and of course they're facing off against the Aussies and Yanks. Plus that Aussie Aussie Aussie is an actually thing that happens and Down Under is like our second national anthem and is usually sang at sporting events to hype up our guys. Now I'm not going to reveal much about the Arc villain but I will tease he's based on a 90's classic. The next chapter will focus more on the games and Atlas wil show up again
