It was early in Class 1-1's dorm when Miss Rouge entered with a fresh face. The new student had just arrived from London
"Welcome to the dorm you'll be staying with, sorry you couldn't meet any of your classmates since its early" Rouge smiled
"It's okay" they girl said as she placed her belongings down and looked around "I must say this place is rather homey" she smiled
"Thank you Miss Watson" Rouge said. "Now there is one thing you have to be careful of, and that is w have Heteromorphs here" Rouge said "I know your previous school didn't have any, so please treat them as you would any other normal person" she informed her.
"I understand" the girl nodded
"That being said" Rouge said as went to the kitchen and started to make coffee, which she put near a vent and used her quirk to make it spread around the dorm. The new student also inhaled
"Oh my, such a fragrance" she smiled
"So, you like coffee?" Rouge asked.
"I do indeed" she nodded
"Oh good morning miss" Angie said as she Kylie and Julie walked in wearing jog bras, yoga pants and their joggers
"Oh good morning you three, early morning jog?" Rouge asked
"Sure did, we're trying to maintain our fitness" Kylie said making water fly into a glass "Who's this?" she asked
"I'll let you all know" Rouge said
"I thought Mr Long was looking after out dorm?" Angie asked
"He's busy looking into something involving the Nations Incident" Rouge said
"We understand" Julie nodded.
"Okay miss Crimson, what's going on?" Jack asked as he bit into a piece of toast, smothered in Kakadu Plum Jam.
"Seriously dude, a light spread is all you really need" Billy frowned
"Well...what's going on is for the next little while, I'll be your Dorm caretaker while Mr Long is on a research mission" Rouge said.
"Wait, Fuzzy's on a mission?" Bruce asked
"We rarely hear about him going into the field" Oscar said drinking his coffee.
"Indeed, but given what happened with Atlas he was asked by AHAB to check out the incident personally" Rouge informed them "It may be some time until; he's back. So, I'll be taking his classes as well until we can get a substitute teacher in"
"Okay, next question...Who's she?" Matilda asked pointing to the new student, most of them took in her private school styled uniform, her caramel brown hair was pulled up into a high ponytail, and her bright green eyes were behind a pair of oval shaped silver glasses
"Good morning, I'm Marybell Juliet Watson, I come from Lady Guinevere's School for Young Heroines" he said "But you may call me Mary" she curtsied "And my hero name is Nursemaiden."
"Okay Watsy, why is a Pommie doing in our dorm?" Zack asked
"Excuse me?" Mary asked
"She's an exchange student" Rouge said
"If you must know I was suggested I get out to see the world, and he had selected this place since he also went here" Mary said
"I see, well G'day and welcome to Jackman" Zack said
"Thank you" Mary said stiffly, her training as a young lady trying to help her maintain her posture
"So make her feel welcome okay?" Rouge asked
"Yes ma'am" they all said.
"Marybell Juliet Watson, she has a healing quirk, only she can feel their pain" Mr Jackman said "recommended to us by one Dane Whitman aka The Black Knight; a British Pro Hero"
"Indeed" Dragonfly said
"But why?" he asked
"Not sure" Dragonfly shrugged
"Could be protection" Footyman said
"I doubt it" Mr Jackman said "But question is what are we protecting her from"
"Maybe Director Ayers has an answer" Dragonfly said
"I don't know, anyway we need a pro hero to look after Hamish's class" Mr Outback said
"Do you know which one?" Rouge asked walking in
"Not yet, still deciding" Mr Jackman said "hopefully soon, so how is Miss Watson settling in?"
"Well" Rouge said awkwardly.
"You may call me Mary, and only Mary! there will be no MJ, no Belle, NO WATSY!" she shouted
"Okay, okay chill!" Zack said
"We're sorry about what he called you" Angie sighed
"He tends to give people nicknames without thinking" Matilda glared
"My Bad" Zack blushed
"Hard to imagine you're the son of the third ranked hero" Mary said
"Yeah I am, you got a problem for it?" Zack scowled making his quirk spark off his hand
"Easy mate" Jack said as he looked around "So what kind of quirk is yours?"
"I'm a healer, but I feel the pain I heal" Mary said
"I see" Angie said
"That will be handy" Julie said
"Indeed, though e don't get into many fights" Oscar said
"So who is the last leader, you I take it?" Nary asked as she looked at Angie
"No, I'm the leader's girlfriend" Angie said.
"This oaf?" Mary asked
"Yeah so what?" Zack glared "You got a problem with me?" Zack asked
"I might" Mary said glaring at him
"Anyway, it's time for PE" Zack grunted as he walked off
"Man, I've never seen him like that" Digger said
"I know" Oscar nodded
"Hey Mack, think you can find out?" Paul asked
"Why not Angie?" Paul responded
"don't look at me guys, I don't know why he gets like this" Angie said
"All Mary did was bring up his mum." Cathy said
"Maybe he holds grudge against her?" Kat asked
"No, it's something else" Tim said
"Did you guys forget, he's part lightning, and part wind. Mary may have only mentioned his mother as a dig at him" Billy sighed.
"THAT BITCH!" Wyatt snarled
"What should we do?" Indy asked
"I'm not sure" Angie said as they head for PE.
It was lunchtime and Mary sat by herself, enjoying her salad sandwiches while reading a manga she had come to enjoy quite a fair bit. She was smiling as she was finally reaching a part that she was waiting for: the confession.
The group played and just relaxed until the sun started to dip
"Say did you want to go for a walk?" Kurahashi said
"Sure why not" Nagisa said as the two walked off. Once they were further away from the group Kurahashi stopped
"Nagisa, there is something I want to talk to you about" she said
"Same here" Nagisa said looking at the sunset was starting making the water reflect golden light it had started to cast as the sky started to be filled with different colours. Kurahashi looked down and then removed her shirt
"Nagisa?" Kurahashi asked
"What is it?"
"I have something to say to you" Kurahashi said
"Okay" Nagisa said turning to see that Kurahashi was standing there wearing a bikini that looked like Captain Marvel's uniform which made Nagisa gulp 'Oh boy'
"I want to say that even if we have been in a fake relationship. It has felt real to me and I'm not sure if you felt that same, but either way I can genuinely tell you that I've fallen in love with you" Kurahashi said looking down while blushing. Nagisa smiled walked over to her, tilted her head up.
"You read a Geeky love?" Matilda asked as she was passing by
"So, you going to tease me about it?" she asked bitterly
"No way, wait...is that the new volume?" Matilda asked excited
"It is" Mary said starting to feel a bit more confused about it
"NO WAY!" Matilda exclaimed shocking Mary, "Do you think I can borrow it once you're finished with it?" she asked
"You read a Geeky Love?" Mary asked blinking
"Are you kidding me, I run a fan group between the different academies" Matilda pointed out.
"Wait, You're Rockingbird23?" Mary asked
"I am, so which member are you, I'm guessing NurseinGl4sses?" she asked
"I am, I was wondering if I can join you on the next inter-academy podcast call?" Mary asked
"Of course. Say what do you have against Zack?" Matilda asked joining the new student
"OH nothing, I just didn't like what he called me, since the bitches at me old school would call me that, and I despised them" she admitted, biting into her sandwich "Oh wow"
"That's Tuck-shop for you; he's food is great" Matilda said digging into some Mac 'n' cheese. "So you don't think he's some scum since he's dad is a villain?"
"He's father is a villain, yet he's here. No that actually makes him more admirable" Mary admitted.
"I agree" Matilda said.
"I'm sorry" Zack sighed.
"It's okay" Mary said as she and Zack walked through the halls of the academy
"I heard from Matilda" Zack sighed "and I think you're a great addition to our class."
"Indeed, so where are we headed?" Mary asked nervous.
"To see two of the most brilliant students" Zack said "Archie and Micah."
"And they are?" Mary asked
"We're you're friendly tech support" Archie said as he rolled out of the support lab
"Indeed, so how can we help you?" Micah asked
"I was wondering if you can update my costume" Mary said handing the guys a suitcase.
"Miss, we would be insulted if you didn't ask" Micah said
"Shall we have a look?" Micah asked as he brought over a mannequin and pulled out what looked like a typical nurse's uniform
"I see, going for the healer look are we?" Archie asked
"I am" Mary nodded
"My word, you're English" Micah said "Sorry for not picking up on that"
"I mean the old school nurse's dress is always a classic, but you're going to want something" Archie started
"Tougher; leave it with us" Micah said
"Thanks guys" Mary said "How much?
"Excuse me?" Archie questioned.
"How much for it?" Mary asked
"You pay?" the guys asked
"For additional changes to our uniform outside of the original design" Mary explained
"oh" The tech said
"We don't have that here, heck we have one of the best for making costume and gear" Zack informed her.
"I've heard," Mary nodded.
"Okay, so leave it with us" Micah said "and we'll design something a bit more rugged for you"
"While still being cute" Archie laugh, oh before you leave" Archie said as he typed something on his control pad revealing a room in the lab "Strip off your uniform and step inside so we can get measurements"
"WHAT!" Mary exclaimed.
"Huh, that must be Miss Watson getting measured" Rouge said
"uh oh" Dragonfly said
"Uh oh, what uh oh?" Rouge asked
"This exchange is also protective custody for her" Dragonfly said
"From who?" Rouge asked
"Jackson Ripley aka" Dragonfly started before pulling up a masked face
"GENTLEMAN RIPPER!' Rouge panicked as she stood up and looked "Why is that nutcase targeting her?"
"I don't know, but we do know he's tangled with Dane Whitman" Dragonfly said
"Gentleman Ripper vs. the Black Knight?" Rouge smiled.
"They're trying to find out why, but that's why we're housing Miss Watson" Dragonfly said
"I'm going to rip his insides out through his mask's eye holes!"
But he's not that dumb" Dragonfly said "between the top 10 of Down Under, those 'Hooligans' and our kids I dread for any villains that are dumb enough to think they can try something on Australian soil" Dragonfly said
"heck, even if we're no longer proper pros we can hold our own" Rouge added.
"That was embarrassing" Mary said
"You get measured for a new suit?" Angie asked
"Yes" Mary blushed
"Relax, those guys are pros, they won't use it to perv on you. They're to gentlemanly for that" Matilda said
"Indeed" Mary nodded
"Oh hey Mary, Tim-Tam?" Tim asked
"Oh thank you" she said taking a chocolate biscuit, and biting into it "Oh my, so good"
"Oh guys, check out the time" Julie smirked making the girls look at the clock
"ALRIGHT!" the girls all cheered.
"What, what is it?" Mary asked looking alarmed.
"It's time for us to have a bath" Indy said
"A bath?" Mary asked "You have a bath here, when we all have bloody showers?"
"We have those as well, but you'll see" Angie smiled
"BLOODY HECK! WHERE DID YOU GET THIS!" Mary shouted upon seeing a massive pool of hot water
"It was built by the school a couple of years ago" Angie said
"Sadly we can't use the rainwater storage system for it" Kat said as she lowered herself in the pool
"HEY!" Matilda said. "At least rinse off first!" she snapped.
"We did" Nikki said
"So you guys use this?" Mary asked
"Yeah, the hero course girls take turns with this, and Class 1-1 gets it first" Angie explained.
"UI see" Mary nodded
"So I heard you like a Geeky Love?" Indy said
"I do, I even have the volumes" Mary told them
"Another good series in Witchblade in the Darkness" Kelly said
"You read that one?" Mary asked.
"Yeah, too bad it got cancelled" Julie sighed
"True" Kat said "So how does the confession happening"
"You can read it once Matilda is done with it" Julie smiled.
"You got the volume with it in it?" Kylie asked
"Sure do" Mary smiled as she relaxed "So good"
"I think she likes it" Angie smiled as she and the rest relaxed as well.
"Okay Miss Watson" Archie said as he rolled into the dorm later with a briefcase on his lap "I have you new uniform here, just as requested" Archie said
"Oh, thank you" she smiled taking the briefcase "Can I try it out, right now?" she asked
"I'd be offended if you didn't" Archie smiled as she skipped off. Kelly saw this and smirked
"Got a little crush do we?" Kelly asked making Archie blush
"no" Archie quickly said.
"Me think thou doth protest" Kelly smirked
"I will stop making your bras" Archie said
"Okay stopping it now, but you have to admit since your last girlfriend, no one has made you like this" Kelly told him
"Yeah, but look at me. I'm in a freaking wheelchair!" Archie stated "No girl wants a brain on wheels"
"I do" Mary said walking back out, wearing her new costume which looked like modern day scrubs, only light pink with some black leather on the knees, and protective pads for her elbows, finished off with a pair of black and neon pink fingerless gloves.
"Wow" Archie said
"Thank you" Mary smiled.
"N-N-No problem" Archie blushed before he received a peck on the cheek. Once she was out of hearing range,
"Told you" Kelly said
"Yeah, yeah shut up" Archie smiled as he left.
"Not bad" Zack said looking at her costume.
"Thank you" Mary smiled.
"Like we said Archie and Micah do good work with their hero gear" Zack smiled
"Indeed' Mary said before she was bumped into by someone
"Oh excuse me" the girl said
"Oh hey Annie" Zack said "You're class doing hero exercises?"
"Yeah we are, but I need to get my med kit" Annie said "Oh I'm sorry, Annie Cross aka Nurse" Annie smiled
"Marybell Watson, Nursemaiden" Mary smiled
"You're a healer too!" Annie exclaimed
"I am" Mary said "I'm from England though"
"Oh I have friends over there, they go to McAvoy" Annie said
"Oh I'm from Lady Guinevere's" Mary told her
"I see" before their phones buzzed making Zack pull his out.
"No way!" Zack gasped
"What is it?" Annie asked as they checked their phoned
"You're back in when the games resume in three months?" Mary asked
"I guess so and we're up against America and Japan again" Zack said
"But why three months?" Mary asked
"Probably to review security measures and make sure nothing like Atlas happens again" Annie said
"Congrats you guys" Mary said smiling
"Indeed" Zack smiled as he looked excited. "Man, that is so cool" he smiled before he looked at Mary "and by the way, it's our school Mary. While you're here you're one of us. A Jackman student to the core" he held out his fist.
"Indeed, now thing let's get some fear dinkum training in" Mary fist bumped him
"Nice" Zack laughed "you're sounding like an Aussie already."
"So they've been chosen again huh?" Mr Long said as he was meeting with the America Teacher Jet Falcon and the Japanese teacher Aizawa
"This could be bad, but at least they're giving them enough time to make sure Atlas or something like him doesn't happen again," Aizawa said.
"I agree" Jet Falcon nodded sipping his coffee. "So any information on the reason Atlas showed up?"
"No, but I discovered something more disturbing" Mr Long said as he slid over several photos "They were there"
"What?" Aizawa growled
"Most likely spying on them to see what would happen" Jet Falcon said
"Frankly I'm surprised the Spot was there given what happened to him last time he tangled with my student" Mr Long said proudly
"Do we want to know?" Jet Falcon asked
"Oh, nothing major just kicking the Spot's ass" Mr Long smiled
"Look at you acting like a proud father figure" Jet Falcon smiled
"Coming from the biggest Papa Wolf in the America Hero Community, I'll take it as a compliment" Mr Long smiled
"Really" Jet Falcon deadpanned.
"Either way, we need to make sure their not planning anything" Aizawa said, making the two nod.
"So what are they planning?" Mr Long asked.
It was late at night when Mr Franklin was doing his nightly rounds of the night, when he heard something. He opened his sports bag and pulled out his Port Adelaide Power jersey and pulled it on, inhaling as his quirk adapted to the jersey giving him electric powers.
"OKAY Who's there?" he asked as he looked around, his electric powers lightning up the area, where there was nothing. Frowning he turned his powers off, which confused him since there was light, turning around he saw a guy in a neon orange Zoot Suit, which was glowing bright Neon "And you are?"
"I'm Mr Toon" the man said "And my quirk, turns me into a living cartoon character" he laughed, sticking his thumb in his mouth and blowing into is thumb, making it triple in size. "HEY LOOK MA!" he shouted as he threw his arm back, it going several meters "I'M LUFFY!" he threw the punch forward, making it collide with Mr Franklin, sending him into a tree and knocking him out "ooh that's got to huuuuuurrrrttttttttt! Now then, those files are calling" he called out before he left the scene, leaving behind his hat and a cloud of dust shaped like him, only to have his arm reach back and grab his hat.
"I hate Toons" Mr Franklin said as he black out, groaning.
G'day Guys Grizz...here, did I just make a reference to the The Mask...I think I did, anyway I figured they could use a cooldown chapter and I figured why not introduce a new character and that is Mary Watson, who is Class 1-1's new healer and just having her around.
