Tao was practicing his martial arts in the gym, looking over his shoulder at the shadows that were nearby. He didn't want to be caught off guard
"There's nothing there, I checked" Mel said as she walked in and placed her gym back down, before doing some stretches. "Trust me since those files were stolen" she said
"You're not related to a villain" Tao snorted
"No, no I am not; doesn't mean I'm not hiding from one" Mel said as she practiced her Capoeira
"You're part Brazilian correct?" Tao asked
"Yep, Brazilian-Australian, and you're?"
"Chinese-Japanese-Australian" Tao told her "My father was Japanese-Australian while my mother was Japanese-Chinese"
"What how did that work?" Mel paused
"My grandfather is the villain Onikage" Tao sneered punching through a punching bag, sand spilling on the ground. Mel frowned as she knew who Onikage was. "My mother was so scared of him that she fled to China where she met my father. They lived happily until my grandfather became the number on villain in China. It was at that point they met Mr Outback when he was helping on a crisis. He helped them get asylum over here, and then I was born five years later" Tao said "What about you?"
"My mamae came from a small town on the edge of the Amazon. It was beautiful there the lush green forests, the bright birds flying through the town. It was parasio she said" she smiled before she started to frowned "Until a Cartel came to town; they forced the people to start growing and harvesting coca plants, capturing the rare species of birds to sell on the black market and the worst thing they did...was execute anyone with a quirk!" she snarled. "The cartel leader laughed as the people with quirks were lined up one by one and shot, stabbed, burned" her fires started to flow. "And those without quirks were usually sold off to quirk factories"
"Quirk Factories?" Tao asked not liking what he was hearing
"Exactly what it sounds like, a place where they take quirkless women and force them to become pregnant, giving birth to babies with quirks. Something they would find a way to implant a quirk in the women before they were taken so they could get new powerful quirks. They were usually used by the rich and powerful" she said "When my mother was a young woman, a task force of the UN and several international pro heroes entered the village. They quickly hunted down the cartel dogs, but one of them put up a good fight, this pedaco da merda de javali was their executioner." she growled.
Meanwhile half a world away a man dressed in chainmail, urban camouflage pants with various belts, sheaths and pounces pulled a knife out and held it up, his Mayan skull mask reflected in the blade. he turned to the man who was tied up behind him
"Feel lucky" he said in a deep scary voice, "For this day is the final day of your suffering" he said walking forward "You messed with the wrong politician" he said shoving his blade deep in his stomach and turning it, making the man who was a target for the English Mob Namely he was a star witness in the trial of politician they had in their pockets.
"Nice work as usual Butcher" a voice said making the man look at him
"Ah Colonel Cash, it is good to hear you are out of the prison they put you in" Butcher said.
"Indeed, glad to see you are still getting work as a mercenary
"I prefer hired knife" Butcher laughed "So, what can I do for you?" he asked
"Onikage's grandson. He's a hero course student in Australia" Col Cash said making Butcher perk up.
"The same nation as that man" Butcher said as he ran a hand over his mask
"Indeed, I want to hire you to take out the boy" Col Cash said showing him Tao's file "And to sweeten it, you remember the village you were first hired to take out all the quirk people, where you met 'that' soldier?"
"I do" Butcher scowled before a picture of a girl was placed on top of Tao's
"That's his daughter, who's mother was a member of that town; one lucky to survive to blades" Col Cash smirked as he turned to the man, fury showing all over his body "Now, I abhor violence against women and children. So you are only allowed to pick one to use as bait, the boy to lure out Onikage by order of him, just to see if he's a threat to him. The girl to lure out your prey." Cash told him, a serious look on his face. "If there is so much as a scratch on the girl and my granddaughter's friends have a new playmate...you!" he said seriously "So are we in an accord, Felix?" Cash asked as he held out his hand
"Yes we do" Felix said shaking his hand, an evil smirk on his face as he did so.
"Good" Cash smiled as he left some of his villain namesake behind. "For you troubles" he bowed his head and left, a portal forming after we left the area where Butcher was working, which lead him to where his granddaughter was waiting.
Tao was walking around the local gardens at sunset as he admired the flowers as they were bathed in the golden light of dusk. He enjoyed this time of day
"Tao" a voice said making Tao go on edged as a wearing black samurai armour and a black oni mask walked out of the shadows
"Grandfather' he growled, getting into a stance "What do you want?"
"I can't say hello to my grandson?" Onikage asked
"No" Tao growled
"I am here to warn you, that a villain has been hired who is a killer for hire to use people here as bait" Onikage said "And no this is not my plan, but one to draw me out so he can get me out of the picture, after all we are like ice and fire, we don't get along"
"And you're warning me why?" Tao asked sneering.
"Simple, you are my grandson" Onikage sighed "Even though it may not seem like it, I did love your mother, I still smile as I remember her laugh as she was small" Onikage smiled
"I don't carom you are a villain, and I'm a hero student!" Tao growled as he charged his fist with dark energy "And I will take you down!"
"I see, goodbye, Tao, we will see one another again, maybe even soon" Onikage frowned as he walked into shadows
"Asshole" Tao frowned as he threw a fist into a tree nearby, cracking it.
"Onikage" Mr Jackman softly frowned as he viewed the security footage, he was sure something was wrong. "After all most of his old crew were now a part of the Cabal, but there were a few missing namely Lizerd and Rammer. He heard that later was taken out and there was no word about Lizerd; which was possibly a good thing in his mind. Since he was a sick freak
"He was here?" Mr Long asked as he walked into the room.
"He was" Mr Jackman said "But I wonder why, a warning or something?"
"I'm not sure" Mr Long said "But I'm guessing it might do with the appearance of Felix Ballista aka the Butcher suddenly showing up in the local area.
"What!" Mr Jack gasped as he looked at the report "DAMN IT!" he snarled "I thought we heard the last of him in Brazil all those years ago!" he snapped
"I'm sorry sir, but do you know this guy?" Mr Long asked shocked
"I was a part of the team sent to take down the cartel that had hired him" Jackman said "back when I was still active as Mr Outback, I was in my early days of pro herodom then. We thought we rounded everyone up, but obviously we didn't since the Butcher is free and possibly in league with the Cabal" Mr Jackman said
"So what's the plan?" Mr Long asked
"I'm not sure" Mr Jackman frowned.
"Void" Onikage said
"What's up Onikage?" Void asked as he coughed, reeling from the time he attacked the Coliseum Island hoping to get payback on Kirby, much like Shigaraki his body was heavily affected by Zack's quirk making him require a rebreather to help until he fully healed
"They are sending the Butcher after Tao" Onikage frowned
"And you're trusting me with what?" Void asked
"Stopping Butcher from killing him, I want you and Mudball to do this" he said
"I'm sorry but I can't. We're about to head out to find Rammer" Void shrugged "Besides I get the feeling that AFO is wanting to finally get rid of you or something"
"Ah my rival. How dare he take Japan from me?" Onikage raged
"You still hate him for kicking him out of the country. You don't know that there are whispers that he's the original quirk user. As in the first one to get a quirk?" Void asked
"I do" Onikage said "But, he annoys me" Onikage barked.
"Geez, if you two put your problems aside and work together All-might would have been a memory long before his retirement" Void chuckled
"Shut it Horatio" Onikage said
"MY NAME IS NOT HORATIO!" he shouted. "It is Nullius Slade"
"I must admit I would change my name as well if I had one like Horatio Von Flintoff" Onikage said as he flicked his cape and walked off into shadows
"Geez he's in a bad mood" Void said "Asshole" Void muttered as he walked off.
"I can smell them" Butcher sneered as he walked along the crowd, a mood and surgical mask covering his face to hide his inedited from. He was heading toward Jackman, where he's prey was. Only he needed a new blade since he couldn't get any though the airport. "Here" Butcher said as he walked into a hidden building, where he pulled out a blood covered jack of Heart and placed it on the counter.
"You're the expert that was brought in, huh?" the man behind the counter said as he opened a box and showed him a bunch of blades. The Butcher picked up one and looked at it
"Nice design, forged at out of spring steel, sharpened with and appleseed edge and the balance is perfect" he said as he looked them all over "I'll take the set"
"Master Dingo thought you would" the seller smirked
"He made these blades with his quirk?" Butcher asked
"Indeed, and he wanted you to have this one on the house' he said passing a bowie knife to him "Made out of weapons grade titanium, sharp enough to carve through any type of flesh in an instant" the owner said as the Butcher tested it out "Perfect" he laughed as he saw a new ma this one was a dark grey skull mask. He Looked at it, "I usually do Aztec or Mayan, but this I can do something with" he said as he pulled it on and looked in the mirror "Very nice" he laughed
"Is that all?" the shopkeeper asked
"A map, and the location of the Jackman Foundation for Heroics" Butcher smirked evilly.
Mel was humming along as he showered after her training, one of the things she loved was taking a hot shower, so hot the water was nearly her quirk making it so she didn't get burned by the scolding water. Plus the steam made it seem she was along even when she was with other people
"You have a nice voice" someone said shocking Mel who looked to see a member of Class 1-2
"Oh hey Wendy" Mel smiled, sticking her head out "The water is fine"
"As usual" Wendy said walking in and started it. "So, my class had an adventure."
"What happened?" Mel asked worried
"you know K'Wame?" Wendy asked as the water soaked her hair "Turns out he's the prince of Wakanda and he's now adopted the title of Black Panther"
"Seriously?" Mel asked shocked, nearly slipping on the wet floor.
"I am" Wendy smiled as she enjoyed the water. "So we got that, what about your class?"
"Turns out the Cabal is targeting our new classmates Marybelle" Mel said
"The Pom?" Wendy asked as she soaped her body up
"Yeah. We're not sure why" Mel frowned
"It could do with that Terrance Ryan guy" Wendy said
"Terrance Ryan?" Mel asked "I wonder if he's related to Zack"
"I don't know" the weather user shrugged before the lights went out and soon the emergency lights flashed on.
"That is not good" the girls said quickly finished their showers and getting out to get
"So what is with the power outage?" Wendy asked
"I'm not sure" Mel said as they looked around. "Wasn't there a villain on the cabal that could control shadows?"
"Yeah, Onikage" Wendy replied making the two girls nervous
"Back to back" they said watching the hallways
"I'm seeing a flare or something" Weny said making Mel look nervous
"We going to attack it?" Wendy asked
"I hope not" Crimson said as she walked into view, holding up a ball of light
"Miss Rouge!" the two girls looked relieved
"You two okay?" the teacher asked looking around
"Yeah, so what happened?" Wendy asked
"Power outage, meaning we're on condition red. Hence the red lights, usually that means an intruder" Rouge explained.
"A villain attack?" the girls said
"yeah, but we're not sure which one" Rouge said
"This is Monster. Do you read me Rouge?" Monster asked over the radio.
"I'm here Hamish, what's wrong?" she asked
"we've identified the villain, one Felix Riveria aka Butcher"
"Did he say Felix Rivera?" Nell looked shocked
"You recognise that name?" Rouge asked
"He attacked my mother's village. He was the one who would kill anyone the cartel's would want gone"
"Shit" Rouge said "So we have someone with a grudge. Mr Outback may have to come out of retirement" Rouge frowned.
"You sure?" Monster said over the radio
"I am" Rouge said.
"Felix Riviera" Mr. Jackman fronted before he put in a call
"Hey Logan, haven't heard from my old mentor in a while" ANZAC Said
"Yeah, I have a problem, Butcher is on his way, or is here" he said
"Wait you kidding me?" ANZAC asked "Good thing I'm here I'll round up a few of the others and come to get them"
"Thank you" Logan frowned as he looked on the infrared monitors "I'm also worried about another member of the Cabal rocking up"
"I'm guessing Onikage?" ANZAC asked
"Yeah, he popped up here the awhile ago and wanted to talk with Tao" he revealed.
"He's grandson?" ANZAC Asked "I thought he abandoned the kid"
"Me too" Mr Jackman frowned, looking over at his uniform on the wall.
"I'm dead meat, I'm dead meat" Mel panicked
"No you're not" Rouge said firmly
"He may try and use you as bait for something" Wendy said taking a hunch about what was happening.
"But for...merda" Mel realised something
"what is it?" Wendy asked
"He's going to use me to lure out my dad and try and kill him!" Mel exclaimed
"Why?" Wendy asked
"Because he was one of the international soldiers who rescued my mum's village from the cartel. In fact I'm pretty sure my father was the one to deal the final blow to the Cartel" she said
"Interesting, I didn't know that" a male voice said shocking the three women. Out of the shadows walked Onikage in full costyume
"Shit! Girls get behind me NOW!" Rouge shouted
"Like that will help you" Onikage laughed as he sunk back into the shadows, the three looking around whiel Mel created a flame to give themselves better lighting
"Monster this is Rouge, we've just encountered Onikage" Rouge said over the mic.
"WHAT!" Monster shouted.
"Guys what's going on?" Indy asked as she and the rest of the girls in 1-1 walked over to the group of 1-2 girls
"We don't know" Fern said
"This is not good either way" Angie frowned
"Where are Wendy and Mel?" Kelly asked
"Last I saw Wendy she was going for a shower" Betty said
"I think Mel was there too since she likes to do that after her workouts" Kat said
"That is not good since we're in lockdown" Fern frowned before they heard Mayan chanting
"What is that?" Angie asked as Butcher walked into their view. "Who is that?
"I don't think we should stay and find out" Kelly said
"In other words?" Kat asked
"RUN!" they all shouted as they bolted.
"Where is he?" Mr Jackman asked
"I have no idea, but there is a bigger problem, Butcher is here and he's attacking the first year hero girls" Monster said
"DAMN IT!" he snarled "How long until the Pros gets here?" he asked
"No quick enough" Dragonfly said "Thankfully several of them were nearby"
"Plus I'm sure as heck that Sally isn't going to just sit by as her old high school is attack, especially with her son being here" Monster said
"Indeed" Mr Jackman nodded
"So you are planning on fighting us?" Onikage laughed as he phased out of the shadows
"Wow, are you ballsy!" Mr Jackman scowled.
"I sure am, but I will tell you this, I am not the one who unleashed the Butcher on you, that was another" Onikage told them
"Who?" Dragonfly asked
"You may have heard of him through shadowy whispers: All For One!" Onikage told them making the teachers worried
"Isn't he an old wives tale?" Dragonfly asked nervously
"No he's real, and he's a major source of Darkness" Mr Jackman said
"How come we haven't heard him?" Monster asked
"The world governments didn't want anyone to find out about the mastermind behind the rise of villainy after the Heroes got back control of Japan from him" Mr Jackman said
"You're kidding" Dragonfly gasped
"I'm not." he frowned
"Then how do you know?" Monster asked
"Sadly that's classified" Mr Jack man told them
"Now if you don't mind, I have a different target in mind, have fun playing with the butcher" Onikage snicked sinking back into the shadows,.
"Shit" the teachers frowned.
Tao was meditating when he looked up s his Grandfather walked out of the shadows.
"Ni Hao Tou-san" Tao said using his parents languages
"I see you can speak Mandarin and Japanese" Onikage swished his cape.
"I don't care what you think, Grandfather" Tao said charging his fists with shadow energy and threw a punch at Onikage, only for his fist to stop mid punch "What?" he asked shocked
"You didn't think I wouldn't be able to manipulate your shadow energy like I can all shadows and darkness?" Onikage asked throwing him back.
"Then I'll be you without it" Tao declared
"Come boy, for it is time I tested you. Personally" Onikage shouted as he rushed forward
"BRING IT!" he shouted.
ANZAC had gathered a small group of Pro Heroes
"What's going on?" Skylark asked as she glared at Mr Outback's successor
"Two villains attack Jackman. Including Onikage; their headmaster reached out to me so we can go in there and top them.
"Jackman!" Skylark said "Zack" she panicked
"Easy" Knux said "We got a lot of fire power here. Redback, Taipan, Smoko, you, Knight, Wedgetail, ANZAC. You've got a fair few members of the top ten; then there's me as well" Knux smiled.
"Thank you" Skylark said smiling as she stretched "Let's go save some kids"
"YOU GOT IT!" the heroes said as the moved towards the school 'Hang on Zack, I'm coming to save you'
G'day Guys Grizz here and oh boy did that end roughly and more dark back stories for the students, don't worry Mel had a good life, her mother not so much. So the Butcher was just a random idea I came up with and I seriously don't know why I gave him an Aztec/Mayan theme besides him being from Brazil. Now the cartel attacking the village came from believe it or not TMNT. So yeah look forward to the final chapter of the Students vs Villains arc before we get some fun things.
