"Come now girlies, you think you can beat me?" Butcher asked as he held out the knife at them, the girls were standing in a close group ready to either run or fight
"We're not scared of you" Kat said
"Yeah" Indy said
"What you think you can stop me?" Butcher asked as he ran at them,. Indy moving to the front and using her stopping quirk to freeze him in the middle of his lunge
"What the?" Butcher asked
"Is there a time limit on the thing?" Shelly asked
"I don't know, I haven't tried it that way, I've set froze them and then had someone attack them and release it so they're redirected" Indy said
"Hope it stays that way" Matilda said as they ran through the red lit corridors. Soon they collided with someone
"WHOA!" they all shouted
"Mel!" the 1-1 girls cheered hugging their friend
"WEDNY!" the 1-2 class girls shouted hugging their friend as well. "You girls okay?"
"Yeah, but this guy is someone who wants to capture Mel" Wendy told then
"Why?" Angie asked concern in her voice
"Dad was one of the guys who tried to take down the Cartel Butcher was working for when they used tyranny to control my mother's village and killed off any quirked people" Mel explained "And now he wants to capture me and hold me as bait to try and get my dad here so he can kill him"
"Wait they killed people with quirks?" Kat looked scared
"That means" Julie said
"We're going to be his targets" Kylie realised
"Great" Matilda frowned.
"not if we're smart" Angie said "I'll get the teacher" she said unfurling her wings to fly off, only for a pulse of energy hit them, causing her to fall flat on her face "What the?" she asked
"ANGIE!" Julie panicked.
"My quirk" she panicked as she tried to move her wings
"A quirk canceller!" they realised
"It may have been expensive. But it was worth it" Butcher laughed as he pulled out his knife.
"Great! I think a quirk canceller was deployed" Wedgetail said as he was in the air scanning the school.
"Acknowledged" ANZAC said "So, they're playing dirty"
"Unless, he's quirkless meaning that they're on level ground with quirk ability, only
"Do we know the location of everyone? Skylark asked
"I'm just checking now" Wedgetail said as he scanned the area. "Okay looks like most of them students are in their dorms thanks to the emergency protocol of the school"
"That's good" Knux nodded.
"Hang on I got a small group and of crap, Butcher is near the group meanwhile two more are on the other side of the school, I'm guessing one of them is Onikage" Wedgetail said
"I'll head over there" Knux said
"We'll go as well" Taipan and Smoko nodded as they rushed over.
Tao quickly blocked Onikage's fists, which stung
"I will beat you" Tao panted as he tried a series of high kicks, aiming for Onikage's head.
"Nice try, you have a good technique, but you have a sloppy tell. I can see your "I'm not a master like you ASSHOLE!" Tao shouted as he kicked at the villains head yet
"I'm guessing you didn't finish the first level of your training until you came here," Onikage frowned "That's why you are so sloppy. I trained your mother better then that" Onikage frowned and then proceeded to use the same style of martial arts against Tao, showing off the difference of skills between the two, which was overwhelming. Onikage then grabbed Tao by the shirt and flung him into the wall where he's shadows grabbed him and restrained him. "Maybe under my tutelage you will be a better fighter, and hopefully you'll finally join me in being a true villain." Onikage scowled as he moved Tao closer to him.
"Never" Tao weakly said
"Shame" Onikage frowned before throwing him back into the wall, before grabbing him and throwing him into another wall, then using his quitrk fired Tao at his kick
"KNOCK, KNOCK!" Knux shouted breaking through the wall
"Pro heroes" Onikage growled as smoke filled the room,
"I blocked his vision" Smoko said
"Thank you" Taipan drew his swords and rushed off, swinging them wildly to try and score a hit on the shadow using villain
"This would be better if we had a light user" Knux said
"No kidding" Taipan said as he switched his visor to a different viewing mode so he could see in the smoke
"Do you have a visual?" Smoko asked
"Negative, he must have entered a shadow" Tapian said drawing his sword and twirling it. Knux shot his spikes out to add piercing function to his punches.
"I'm not liking this" Knux grunted.
"None of us are" Smoko said.
"Okay let's see, if I can find that Butcher bastard" Wedgetail said as he pulled out his guns and loaded them with the air bullets made from his quirk.
"We understand" Skylark said via the radio
"Where are you?" Wedgetail asked
"I'm heading for the first year dorms" Skylark old them.
"I know what you're going over there for" Wedgetail said
"You'd understand if you were a parent" Skylark frowned
"I understand. Look Redback is heading for the principal's office to form up with him." Wedgetail said
"I got some girls in the hallway" ANZAC said
"They must be the ones that were on my visor" Wedgetail said
"Yeah, and unluckily, Butcher's here" ANZAC said as he frowned
"That's all we need" Knight said as he appeared by ANZAC's side
"Yeah, so we have to be careful" ANZAC said frowning as he peeked out the side.
"I'll get their attention" Knight said as he moved swiftly
"Great" ANZAC groaned moving quickly. The girls looked scared and were panicking
"Found you my prey" Butcher aid
"This guy was probably going to kill them" AAZAC frowned as he looked out, grabbing the shield off his back and whistled at Butcher, who turned to look at him, throwing the shield at the knife carrier as Knight stepped in and got the girls out of their quickly.
"What?" Butcher asked as he was kicked in the face
"Back off Knife boy" ANZAC grabbed his shield and bashed Butcher in the face, his mask blocking it, only for the impact to whip has head back "And there's a brain rattler" ANZAC taunted as he dodged the knife Butcher was using.
"SO they sent the tenth best after me huh?" Butcher asked as he threw the knife in between his hands.
"Yeah, because there are other priorities" ANZAC taunted as he used his shield to block the knife over and over again. While those two were fighting Knight had gotten the girls out of the area.
"You're safe now, I'll lead you back to the dorms" Knight told them
"Thanks" Angie said rubbing her wings
"Still numb?" Knight asked
"Yeah" Angie nodded
"It will wear off soon" Knight said as they heard ANZAC fighting in the background.
"Okay, just stay here" Skylark said as she watched out the window, she frowned knowing that two different villains were attacking her son's school at that moment.
"Everything okay mum?" Zack asked
"Oh hey honey, I wish they were, but sadly we got two different villains" she said smiling said.
"Which ones?" Zack asked
"One called Butcher who works with the cartels and Onikage" Sally said, no longer acting as a pro hero, but a concerned mother,
"I'm going to be fine mum, we all are" Zack frowned
"I see something" Bruce snapped making the mother and son duo snap their attention outside.
"TAO!" Theo shouted
"What is he?" Graham asked
"This could be a trap" K'Wame frowned
"Geez, you think big guy?" Wyatt scoffed.
"Easy guys, we're all here for now so don't do anything stupid" Zack said
"Okay" they all said. Suddenly a rhythmic knock sounded
"I've got it" Billy said making a construct of a sword as he neared the back door.
"On 3" Zack said making Billy nod and point his sword at the door
"One, Two THREE!" the two shouted opening it up, the blade pointing at Knight who was with the girls
"Angie" Zack pulled the winged girl into a hug and rubbed her back "You good?"
"Not really, we ran into the guy who is hunting us" Angie said
"Some Latin dude calling himself Butcher" Kylie frowned
"And he has a bone to pick with me" Mel revealed.
"And then there's Onikage' Knight said "Some of our friends got the drop on him"
"Where?" Skylark asked
"The training hall, he's grandson is on the way now" Knight told her
"Is he?" Fern asked concerned
"Don't worry. I t looks like he's just a bit winded since he didn't use his quirk" Knight told them
"So what's the plan?" Skylark asked
"ANZAC is facing down Butcher while the others are dealing with Onikage, but they're having trouble" Knight informed her
"Okay Wedgetail, you hear that?" Skylark asked
"I did, no sign of Redback yet" Wedgetail said
"Wait! We haven't seen Redback?" Skylark asked looking at Knight
"That's weird" Knight murmured "Redback, come in."
"Redback here," Redback said as he was crawling along the walls "What's wrong Knight?"
"I'm just not sure where you are at the moment" Skylark said since there are two villains under attack, and I think one of them is working for Col. Cash" Skylark muttered
"Him" Redback snorted.
"So we can't be too cautious" Skylark said "Me and Knight are at the student dorms"
"Stay put, I'll be there soon, just making sure there aren't any more villains" Redback said as he jumped of the rook 'I know Col Cash, while he's a villain he's an honourable one, he doesn't attack women and children. So why did that bastard let that monster loose, unless. there's something else here at work" Redback thought as he heard the roots of a "The military,?" he asked
"What do you mean?" Knight asked
"I'm getting the sound of a chopper" Redback told them as he looked out and saw a helicopter land and a unit of Commandoes "The 2nd Commando Regiment?"
"Special forces?" Skylark asked "But why are the here?"
"My father" Mel told them
"Your dad is special forces?" Wyatt asked
"Yeah, Lt Col Douglas Bourne of the 2nd Commando regiment" Mel said
"They must have gotten word about the attack" Skylark frowned.
"So now what?" Billy asked
"Stay here" Skylark frowned as she walked out "That's far enough"
"Step aside Skylark "Lt Col Bourne said "I'm here to see my daughter and arrest Buthcer
"I'm sorry but this is a part of an AHAB operation" Skylark said
"I know, but we have unfinished business with him" Bourne said
"I heard" Skylark frowned as she was ready to blow her away
"I know how you feel, but trust me, even the Director has agreed to this as long as we work together" Bourne said
"Fine, but juts know if my son, or ANY of his friends gets hurt in anyway" Skylark threatened him
"Understood" Bourne said "MOVE OUT MEN!" he shouted as the Commando unit saluted and moved to guard the perimeter. He then turned back to Skylark "You married Captain Lightning-bolt?"
"I did" Skylark nodded.
"So the military got involved, very rarely do they move in when heroes are involved" Onikage frowned before he ducked into the shadows
"Damn it" Redback swore as he slid onto the roof and glared at where the villain was "I missed"
"But barely" Onikgae said
"Onikage, I heard about why a villain of your calibre would be here, but why your grandson?" Redback questioned
"Let's just say there is someone I want to protect him from" Onikage said "One who I don't care if he is dealt with, since once he is gone I can get my original turf back" Onikage told them
"So you want All For One gone" Redback said
"You know about him?" Onikage asked shocked, turning to the Number 1 Australian hero.
"Yeah, upon reaching number one, a pro hero is allowed to know about certain secrets and given the rise of villaisn that includes what orthe biggest threats are." Redback explained
"I see" Onikage nodded, "Then you are in the know was to what
"now to take you in" Rebdback said
"Oh please, you won't be able to" Onikage sunk back into the shadows putting Redback on the defensive. Hearing footsteps behind him Redback whirled around and fired a webshot
"Easy friend" Taipan said as he held his sword up
"Sorry but you can't be careful with Onikage" Redback said
"Yeah" Taipan said as they stood back to back, weapons at the ready
"Is the kid okay?" Redback asked
"Yeah, the girls are back in the dorms and Tao is nearly there himself" Taipan informed him
"Got it" Redback told him.
"TAO!" Fern shouted as she saw her friend walk in the back door
"I'm fine" he coughed
"No you're not" Knux said as he helped him over to the couch "Looks like the first years are all in one place"
"Indeed" Skylark said
"and the commandos are guarding the school" Knux said
"Even if the villains are already in the school" Skylark grumbled
"Who's leading them?" Knux asked
"My father' Mel answered.
"so Lt Col Boune, energy absorption quirk" Knux told them
"Could be handy" Knight added making Knux jump
"DON'T DO THAT MAN!" he shouted
"Sorry" Knight replied "Wedgetail, where are they?"
"I lost sight of Butcher, ANZAC?" Wedgetail asked
"He used a fire extinguisher to escape. Give me a few minutes to track him down" ANZAC groaned
"Damn it Jim" Skylark groaned
"HEY You try fighting him" ANZAC said
"Um mum" Zack tried to get his mother's attention
"Yes Zack?" she asked before the girls was smashed in and Butcher walked into the room.
"Lookie lookie what I found" Butcher chuckled
"A room full of heroes?" Knight asked
"Maybe he is dumber then we though" Smoko said as he twirled his karambit
"Looks like I lost that bet" Knight said
"Funny" Butcher said "too bad I only attack you two" Butcher said "But maybe my hand around that girl's neck is what will bring out her papi" Butcher laughed
"Why don't you look outside?" Mel smirked
"What?" Butcher asked before a red to appeared on his chest, where he heart was.
"So he is here" Butcher said as he deflected the shot with one of the knives her brought with him.
"RIVERIA!" Lt Col Bourne shouted from outside. "COME ON YOU BASTARD, YOU DONE CHASING CHILDREN?" he shouted
"Oh I am for now, vamos acabar com isso seu Bastardo!" he laughed
"Oh you got mouth on you" Lt Col Bourne said as he drew a knife.
The two clashed blade and dodged each other's punches and kick
"You gotten better Bastado" Butcher smirked
"I can same the same to you as well prick" Bourne snarled. Once he got close Bourne unleash a burst of energy at the villain, who ducked it and punched into his stomach making the commando cough up blood
"You like that?" Butcher laughed and he stomped Mel's father into the ground repeatedly while laughed
"Surprise" Bourne said as he shot and energy burst at Butcher, striking his face earning him a boot to his
"You think that you can little soldier" Butcher spat. "I'm not going to let you live. And then once I'm done you're little girl will feel my knife" he shouted making everyone scared, all but Mel. Since all she was able to do was cower as she felt fear "I'M SO PISSED OFF MY MAY SCREW THAT MAN'S RULES!" he shouted
"That man?" Angie asked
"Col Cash, he hates violence against women" Skylark said "And children" she frowned, this made something spark inside Mel.
"So we stepping in soon right?" Knight asked
"You betcha" Smoko said
"MEL WHAT ARE YOU?" Matilda shouted seeing her friend charge out there.
"I must admit, I am having more fun facing you two then I would my own grandson: Onikage laughed as he formed claws of shadows on his hands and swiped at the two heroes. Redback dodging it while Taipan blocked it with his blade "That blade, I recognise; The sword of the Midoriya clan
"Yeah it is so what?" Taipan asked
"What is a man of Japan, doing in Australia?" Onikage asked curiously
"I have my reason" Taipan said
'He came here because of his daughter didn't he?" Redback though as he shot webbing out at Onikage, who ducked into the shadows to dodge it "Damn it hold still" Redback snapped as he Onikage jumped out of the shadows behind Redback and swiped at him with his claws before Redback dodged the claws and punched him in the gut.
"YES!" Redback cheered
"I'm impressed, it's been 2 years since I was hit by a non quirk attack, or it being light based, but now I'm got to have to kill you for it" Onikage said
"MEL WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" one of the girls shouted making the three on the roof pause
"They're not serious?" they asked as the saw Melissa
"Well, this is a plot twist" Onikage said as they saw Mel throw a ball of fire at Butcher, which knocked him off course and saw her.
"No" Redback paled
"GET HER AWAY WITH HIM!" Taipan said as he flipped off the roof.
"Well time to leave" Onikage said as he slipped away.
"HEY!" Redback shouted "Damn it!"
"MEL!" her father shouted as she got in between the two
"Don't worry papi I have a plan" She smirked
"Oh, oh, oh you think you're so clever little girl?" Butcher asked passing the knife in his hand back and forth "hen when don't you watch him die" Butcher turned and swung the blade
"NO!" Bourne shouted as Mel quickly dove in between him and the blade "MELISSA!" he shouted making Butcher laugh loudly before they both heard Mel laughing
"What if so funny?" Butcher asked "WHAT IS SO FUNNY!"
"You're boss said not to harm any women or children right?" Mel asked "So what do you think he is going to do when he finds out you attacked a teenage girl?" she smirked showing that there was blood on her hand and a wound on her stomach. Butcher paled at this and looked around
"You tricked me" he said looking around
"Feeling a bit nervous?" Mel asked before a small spot appeared in the air
"No" Butcher said as the spot expanded into a portal and out walked four people, one looked like a gunslinger, one looked like a Aztec god, the third was a monster and the last one was
"Himiko Toga?" Mel asked
"Oh wow you're bleeding pretty badly" Toga laughed
"Sweetheart, not now" the monster said
"Sorry my Black Pudding" Toga smiled and walked over to the group
"Lt Col Douglas Bourne, what an honour" the gunslinger said
"Showdown" Bourn frowned as he held his daughter, making sure the wound wasn't bleeding
"You won't do anything to me" Butcher spat
"Oh don't worry we won't, but she will" Showdow said as he sniped the ankles of Butcher, before his son Predator grabbed him by the neck and slowly dragged him to the portal, while he was struggling to get away.
"I'm so sorry for all that has happened tonight, and don't worry we'll be giving y'all a grace period" Showdown said "So heal up"
"Bye now" Toga waved.
"okay, what was that?" Mel asked
"You don't want to know" her father said.
"Onikage may have hinted that there is some bad blood among the members of the Cabal" Redback said as he met with the pro heroes "Especially if they hired Butcher to capture Mel to bring out Bourne"
"Not to mention that he was hired to flush Onikage out" Taipan nodded
"You think they will keep their unity until the end?" Skylark asked
"No doubt, they didn't form the Cabal just to have it crumble." Redback frowned "No, they want something else to crumble"
"What is it?" Knux asked
"Hero society as a whole" Redback said making all of the pro heroes look nervous.
G'day Guys Grizz here and wow that was a wild ride and we got to meet another parent of the students with Lt Col Douglas Bourne for the 2nd Commando regiment who is one of our special forces. Plus more cameos of the villains. The biggest thing I wanted to do with this chapter was showcase the pro heroes in action which I hope I did well in this chapter since most of them haven't been seen since Chapter three while others have had more screentime. Next chapter is going to be a light hearted one involving some love so we won't be doing this heavy action stuff for a while again.
