"I don't know if we should all be here" Shimmer said as she and some of the top ten heroes were standing outside of a prison waiting on a particular prisoner to come out
"I know what you mean" Taipan said
"Quite" Redback snapped as the prison warden walked out "warden" he nodded.
"Heroes, he's ready for transport. But I have to ask are you sure about this?" the warden asked
"Given that there has been new evidence come to light during his sentence. We're sure" Redback said "We've even has backup from the AHAB's special hero unit"
"Oh the Hooligans; a team I was adamantly against" the warden said
"Quit chatting" Wedgetail groaned. "Who are we transferring?" he asked
"You don't know, we're transporting Terrance Ryan to the nearest court" Redback said
"Shocksquash?!" Wedgetail exclaimed
"You realise he hates that name?" ANZAC asked
"Then why is he in here?" Knight asked
"He was framed for a big attack. Only it was a Guild member named Gentleman Ripper framed him" Redback said as the heroes were lead inside the prison
"I have to admit he's been a model prisoner, even stopping a couple of prison breaks" the warden said
"How?" Anzac asked shocked
"First time he held the prisoners in his wings with his strength and quirk, the second time he simply made barbecue" the warden told them.
"He stopped them with Barbecue?" Wedgetail asked
"He was quite famous for it, as in award winning" the warden said
"What he's that Terrance Ryan?" Knight asked
"Dude!" Taipan gasped
"I heard his niece runs it" Drop Bear said.
"This is it" he said opening the doors to the wing. "RYAN!"
Terrance 'Terry' Ryan was what would describe as 'built as a brick shithouse!' He was a 7ft man made of mostly muslce with long sandy blonde hair and hazel eyes. He was doing pushups with his feet on his bunk
"RYAN!" the warden shouted as he walked up with a group of heroes.
"What is it?" Terry asked as he finished and stood up
"STRUTH!" Drop Bear shouted
"He's big as you!" Wedgetail said
"Where's Holly?" Terry asked
"We didn't bring her in, since she's your sister in law" Redback said
"Errol" Terry smiled
"How are you feeling?" Redback asked
"Fine" Terry said
"Don't worry you'll be back doing what you love soon," Shimmer said as she produced a garment bag
"My suit?" Terry asked
"Yes sir" Shimmer said.
"This is not good" Gentlemen Ripper said as he stood with Massacre, Poisona, Mr Toon and Wallop.
"So what are we doing?" Poisona asked
"Simple, we're going to kill the target" Gentlemen Ripper smiled "Along with Miss Watson" he laughed
"Ooh that sound my kind of work" Massacre gleefully chortled
"Well I think I know what you're doing. Meanwhile you three are with me, I need to make sure Terrance Ryan does not reach that court, preferable both Terrance Ryan and Irene Watson does not reach the end of this day ALIVE!" Gentleman Ripper said "Now what heroes are with him?"
"Redback, Taipan, Drop Bear, ANZAC, Wedgetail, Shimmer and Knight" Mr Toon said extending his eye like a telescope
"7 of the top 10?" Gentlemen Ripper asked "Where are the other three?" he growled.
"Mrs Watson, are you okay in there?" Skylark asked
"I am" Irene said in a panicky tone
"Relax, the team you have protecting you is made of some of the toughest team I've ever met" she smiled
"Okay" Iren said "I just hope Mary is doing okay" she sighed
"She's with my son, and he says that they are doing very well" Skylark smiled.
"Okay I'm glad she's made friend, but I'm worried my husband will come here" Irene admitted,
"Oh don't worry they dealt with him as well" Skylark smiled.
"REALLY!" Iren asked shocked
"Skylark" Casino said walking in "Its time"
"You hear that Irene?" Skylark asked
"Okay" a woman walked out wearing a pink skirt suit and looked utterly nervous
"Thank you for doing this" Skylark smiled "A member of my extended family has been wronged and hanks to you it can be fixed."
"no worries, he saved my life after all" Irene smiled
"No worries, Road Warrior is it safe to exit?" Skylark asked
"Affirmative" Road Warrior answered.
The Pro Heroes walked out into the fresh air with Terrance wearing a bullet proof vest. He looked nervous, not know above them was the AHAB's Special Operations Team aka the Hooligans. Captain Lightningbolt frowned as he watched his Brother being placed into one of the armoured transports, he then turned to his team frowning.
"Cruncher, how safe is he?" he asked as Cruncher looked at him
"Perfectly. They've planned everything down to the cross on the T" Cruncher said
"They're making each van weight the same so they can't tell which van is holding him if they go that route" King Brown said
"Understood" Captain Lightningbolt said
"Look man, most of us know how you are feeling, if it was me or Victoria in there" Thredbo said
"We would be worried as well" Perisher nodded.
"And me with Natalie" Feedback frowned
"They're moving" Boomerang said as they pulled away
"Okay let's go" their leader said as he headed to a aircraft
"Should we be worried" Eclipsa asked.
"I don't think so" Huntsman held her hand. "he is worried, but that just means he is at his most serious, and that means he is at his most dangerous" he frowned
"Good point" Perisher nodded.
"Truck 3, Passing Checkpoint Bravo" Taipan said as he watched, looking in the back as he saw Terrance was jittery. "So what's the first thing you're going to do when you're free?" he asked
"I'm going to back to my shop and doing what I love, cooking barbecue" Terrance said a smile appearing on his face. "It's all about using the right spice mix, the right wood for smoking different types of meat...The look of pure joy when people enjoy my cooking" he started to tear up "And I know who would be the first customer through the door"
"Truck 2 coming up to Checkpoint Delta" Drop Bear announced over the radio
"Truck 3 coming up to Checkpoint Delta" Taipan replied over the radio. "who?"
"My nephew Zack. It was one of the places he and his mates could hang out" Terrance smiled "I was so excited when I heard he went to Jackman"
"Really?" Taipan asked
"Truck 1 Passing Checkpoint Echo" Redback called
"Copy that" Drop Bear said
"Yeah" Terrance nodded. "Super excited, and proud of him" Terrance said as they heard helicopters over head
"Crap" Taipan said "WHO ORDERED THE MEDIA!"
"I wonder what Zack is doing now" Terrance said
"Why are the media here?" Lightningbolt asked
"Coverage, this is a major story" Cruncher said
"Feedback, what will the Cabal do?" King Brown asked
"Considering that Gentleman Ripper is the true culprit, he'll probably attack the convoys. Probably send one team after the Ryan Convoy and one after the Watson Convoy" Feedback frowned making Captain Lightningbolt growl. The team were worried
"Wait, what's that?" Huntsman asked scared
"Convoy 1 this Skywatch, we have eyes on something, please wait" Cruncher said, Feedback frowned as he got a pair of binoculars.
"Crap its Poisona!" Feedback said as he realised something "She's going to attack the Ryan Convoy, and it looks like she and whoever is with her is setting up at Checkpoint Gulf" he informed them.
"Now what?" Sharkfang asked
"Some of you get down there!" Captain Lightningbilt ordered
"This is Skywatch, Convoy 1 do not proceed to Checkpoint Gulf, I repeat DO NOT CONTINUE TO CHECKPOINT GULF!" Cruncher shouted, he got static back in return. "we're being Jammed." he shouted.
"CRAP!" he shouted before he looked as Sharkfang, Eclipsa, Feedback and Boomerang jumped out and ran to where Poisona was waiting for them. "Cruncher check Convoy 2"
"Copy that" Skylark said as she hung up. "SHIT!" she shouted
"Problem?" Knux asked
"the other Convoy is about to be hit" Skylark frowned
"We can send someone over there" Knux said
"No, we have to stay together. Tell the others about the attack" she said
"Understood" Knux nodded
"Is there a problem?" Irena asked nervously. Skylark smiled
"Don't worry everything's okay" she reassured Irene
"Okay" Irene said before they skidded to a stop
"What's going on?" Skylark asked
"Gentleman Ripper and Massacre" Knux frowned as he gripped the steering wheel.
"Oh, great those assholes!" Skylark frowned, "They must be after Irene" she said
"What do we do?" Knux asked frowning.
"Guard the witness" Skylark said as she and Road Warrior got out, Who upon exiting the car saw signs of debris and used his quirk to turn into his personal armour, while pulling out his shotgun and aimed at Masacre, who created some chainsaws out of his blood and made them spin up and ran, laughing like a maniac as he swung them around, bits of the debris chipping off as he got off a round or two.
"Ooh, that was close Massacre chuckled before he jumped on Road warrior's shoulders and headbutt him, making blood fly out of his nose, something that Massacre turned into small darts and shot them into Road Warrior's hand, making him drop the weapon he was holding. Skylark saw this and used her quirk's ability to fling Massacre away from Road Warrior
"You good?" Skylark asked
"I am" Road Warrior said
"Good" Skylark nodded as she and Casino got ready for battle.
Pulling out some cards and charging them while she ran at Massacre, once she was in range he quickly flung them at the blood user, which exploded on contact. Skylark used the widn to move in closer and kicked him in the neck as Road Warrior covered his fist in stone, punching Massacre in the stomach making him force air out of his lungs.
"Good shot" Casino said as she threw another card at him.
"Wait, here's the Ripper?" Skylark asked before a scream was heard
"IRENE!" the heroes shouted
"Uh huh huh, one wrong step and she losses her mind in my fear" Gentleman Ripper said as he produced a large antique butcher's blade. This is the same knife my ancestor Jack the Ripper used to carve up Whitechapel, in fact I believe one of his victims was named Mary, isn't your daughter's nickname Mary?" Gentleman Ripper asked, his tone of voice completely different from the way he was threatening her
"You know Gramps, I don't want to fight the elderly" Knux cracked his knuckles before popped his blades out and rolled his shoulders.
"Knux, remember we're going to do this together" Skylark said
"We move together" Eclipsa said as she and her small team were guarding Convoy 1 as Poisona stepped out,
"Oh crap" Feedback groaned "Hey honey" he shouted and waved at her.
"FEEDBACK!" she exclaimed "What are you?"
"Working" he shrugged
"WITH THEM!" she snapped back
"oh boy would not want to be in his shoes" Mr Toon said as he appeared with a bucket of popcorn in his hands. "want some?" he asked making Sharkfang growl at him
'oh okay" he quietly ate it as the Hooligans watched.
"WHY ARE YOU WORKING WITH THEM!" Poisona asked angrily
"They paid me" Feddback shrugged
"So what about Puppetress, she was paying you 200,000 dollars, how much are they paying you?" she asked cocking her hips
"a cool two mill" Feedback replied
"two million?" Posiona asked shocked "You're shitting me"
"Nope, they really are paying me two million bucks to work with these jokers"
"HEY" Boomerang shouted
"Does Puppertress know?" she asked
"Nope" Feedback said before he leaned in "I'm also on the inside working for good old puppetress, finding out these guys weaknesses" he whispered
"He's good" Sharkfang thought 'he turned traitor while making them believe he's a double agent, but seriously they paid this punk ass two million dollars to be a Hooligan?" he mentally asked before he heard the sound of crunching popcorn. They all looked at Mr Toon who was still munching on it.
"What?" he asked before pulling out a massive cinema styled drink. "Oh right" he put the snacks away and grinned as he pulled out a massive boxing glove and pulled it on. "Night night" he smiled as he punched the Hooligan.
"Give them a wide birth!" Taipan ordered over the radio
"COPY!" the other drivers of Convoy replied as Taipan put the radio back and looked back at his passenger. "You good?" he checked
"Yeah I am" Terrance gulped down his nerves
"Relax man, we'll get you there in no time okay?" Taipan asked as he looked at the guards who nodded.
"I know" Terrance looked out the small window in the back
"Still thinking about your nephew?" Taipan asked
"Yeah I am" Terrance nodded
"So what's his favourite?" Taipan asked
"Huh?" Terrance responded
"What is his favourite type of Barbecue?" Taipan expanded his question making Terrance smiled
"He's partial to the South Carolina style and Outback style" Terrance smiled and chuckled. "Last time he came to my shop he and his two mates Bruce and Oscar were covered in dirt and blood after they were in a street brawl with some guy they didn't like, so I grabbed all three of them and dragged them out the back and grabbed the hose before spraying them down; after that I threw them uniforms and told them they would be working there until I closed. Of course being teenagers they didn't like it, but I just glared at them and they started working slowly enjoying it more and more they worked. Once I closed up shop I sat them down with some food and gave them the lecture of what they did was wrong, why they shouldn't have done it and that they should never do it again" he explained before he looked saddened.
"What?" Taipan asked
"That was the last time I saw and talked with Zack. After that I was in London for a vacation when I was arrested for what I'm going to get retried for" Terrance said
"We'll make sure you can work at you shop again" Taipan nodded
"Thanks man" Terrance said.
"WATCH OUT!" Skylark shouted as she used the wind to push Massacre back as Casino charged some more cards and flung them at the villains they were fighting. who was not making it easy to fight as he wouldn't stand still. Road Warrior grabbed his shotgun and aimed at the threat only to hear people screaming. He gulped as he started to hear things.
"Max?" Casino asked as she placed a hand on his shoulder, only to flinch when he shook off the hand and pointed his gun at her.
"He's under the effect of Ripper's quirk" Skylark realised before the two heroes realised that there were more and more screaming. Through which came a loud laugh as they saw Gentleman Ripper standing there laughing
"Oh perfect chaos. How will you beat me and calm down this crowd down" he laughed before they lost track of him.
"NO!" Skylark asked as she looked around
"IRENE!" Casino shouted as she ran over to the car where they had last seen her, only to see the door was wide open and Irene gone. "SHIT!" she shouted "IRENE'S GONE!"
"No, no, no" Skylark panicked.
"OOF!" Sharkfang shouted as he landed on Eclipsa
"This is getting us nowhere" boomerang called out as he watched the convoy pass them. A smirk on his face as he threw more boomerangs at the villains
"They got pass" Eclipsa whispered a smiled on her face
"Good" Sharkfang said before Feedback was knocked back into them.
"I always hated that part of her quirk" Feedback groaned
"Hey you decided to date her" Sharkfang quipped
"Yeah yeah" Feedback got up and used is quirk to fire soundwaves at his girlfriend, who in turn made a barrier of plants. She growled when the convoy got away from them, she was in even less of a good mood as her boyfriend uppercut her before hitting her with a sonic attack "Sorry baby"
"Its fine, after all we're not the only ones here" she smirked
"What?" Feedback asked.
"This is truck one passing Checkpoint India" Redback spoke as he and the other trucks passed through "Now what could they have up their sleeves before he saw a scrawny man step out in front of his truck and looked up "No way" Redback said in disbelief as the scrawny man looked up and just simple smiled before raring his fist back and punching the air, launching a huge shockwave at the truck Redback was in, only for him to quickly jump out of the truck as it crumpled into a ball "You must be Wallop" the number one pro frowned
"Yeah, and as you know my quirk build up makes my strength double with every hit I land. And I've been using a punching bag so I can do that to you truck, and once I find that Patsy Terrance Ryan, I'm going to land a punch on him" he smirked.
"I'm not going to let you do that" Redback said as he fired off several web bullets at the villain, who just dodged and weaved as if he was a pro boxer. Redback suddenly backflipped onto a wall to keep some vertical distance from the villain.
"what's the matter spider' Wallop taunted him as he punched the wall Redback was sticking too making cracks form in the wall, "But once I'm done with you you'll be nothing but a red mist" Wallop laughed as he threw more punches making Redback move.
"I can't stop doing this" Redback muttered 'hopefully Taipan and the others have moved Terrance, otherwise we'll be in big trouble' he thought.
Irene was panicking and badly as well, she didn't even know where she was going. The urge to run was too strong and she had to flee. Leaning against a wall she caught her breathe. She thought she was safe there, only then did she hear the scrapping of a knife along the brick wall near her
"Little Mouse, come out and play" Gentleman Ripper laughed as he dragged his antique knife across the bricks, making Irene's heart rate race . Gasping Irene put a hand over her mouth to try and stop herself from screaming. She was dead and without her that man, the man that saved her life that day was going to be locked away forever.
"I see you" he laughed, making her scream in fright.
G'day Guys Grizz here, and I though this was going to be late due to me getting new upgrades and hardware in my computer, thankfully they are all working and I was able to get this up
Now I had mentioned Terrance Ryan in the past and needed a good place to show what had happened as well as having Mary's mother Irene to be brought in to complete a subplot about those two characters and bring in Mrotrax's London villain Gentleman Ripper pitting him against my top ten Aussie heroes and the Hooligans, who's leader has a personal stake in this event. Also this chapter was going to be a single chapter only for me to decide to split it in two since I have some great things coming up
