Clinton was waiting the lobby of the building the were in as several people, most of them rich walked in and greeted the man.
"You right Clint?" a voice asked making him turn to see his friend Knight walk up
"I'm better you're here now Damon" Clinton said as he saw his old friend walk up with a glass of soft drink in his hand "not drinking?" he asked
"Nope, need to stay sober in case a villain attack, and you know which one I'm talking about" Knight said making Clinton frown
"Andrew Blake aka Clownface" he said knowing about the new villain that was on the rise
"Yeah, 15 dead in a week, each one having their face frozen in a smirk" Knight said sipping his drink
"Yeah" Clinton said looking at his arm where he's quirk was located.
"Don't think about it" Knight said
"Why not?" Clinton replied before Knight turned his head to make him see his date from Japan, she was wearing a sparkling sky blue cocktail dress with a diamante choker, her steps making a soft clacking noise as she walked towards them, Clinton started to feel hotter the collar at how beautiful his girlfriend looked.
"Wow, Ryoko you look stunning" Clinton said kissing her
"Thank you, and you look dashing as well" Ryoko smiled "Knight"
"Pixie-Bob" Knight smiled
"On the job?" she asked
"Yeah, Clownface is apparently on the prowl" Knight stated
"I heard about him, he has a quirk that makes people laugh themselves to death right, like that guy Mr Smiley" Ryoko said as she was lead inside by her Australian boyfriend
"Indeed" Knight said.
"Thank you all for coming to the annual Longbow Charity Gala, where we raise money for a god cause, and this time that cause is the rebuilding of areas affected by villain attack, since as you know over the past year villains have been more aggressive since the fall of All-Might and groups like the Cabal Now we can't do much but there are those out there can and will do a lot of good with the funds we raise here tonight" Clinton said smiling as the crowd had given him their attention "So once again from the bottom of my heart I thank you for your generosity" he raised his glass "So let's all raise a glass in cheers for this event" he said "TO THE FUTURE!"
"THE FUTURE!" the crowd said
"THE FUTURE!" a voice cackled making everyone freeze, Pixie-bob and Knight getting on guard
"Clownface" Knight snarled as a man in full tactical gear, which was brightly coloured his face down up like a clown's, he laughed wildly . Clinton was ready to wipe out his bow and fire a arrow in his throat.
"Such a wonderful evening" Clownface laughed as he walked around "ooh that's a lot of money, is it for me?" he asked laughing
"No its not" Knight frowned as he started to draw his sword
"Oh no, the big bad shadow walker" Clownface panicked before he let out a laugh "Oh, you're going to be fun!" he said aiming at Knight "Nightly night Knight" he laughed.
"NOW MOVE IN!" a voice in the crowd shouted as a young woman with long crimson hair, bright amber yes and wearing something akin to blue and silver Elven next a guy wearing a long black duster and a silver mask appeared, then a werewolf walked jumped in.
"Wild Hound, Silver Hood, time down the clown" the woman said
"Got it Eldar" Silver Mask said as he pulled out a pair of double barrelled revolvers and shot at him
"YOU GOT IT" Wild Hound the werewolf howled as he raced in there with his claws barred
"I'm sorry everyone, but we're the Vigilance" Eldar said "I'm the leader Eldar" she bowed. They gave time to let Clinton slip away and enter a secret room where he changed into his Bowman costume and deployed his quirk.
"The vigilance?" he asked concerned "I thought they were a rumour" he frowned grabbing his quiver and rushed out a different entrance. Once he was out he pulled on a bracer and pulled out an arrow as he saw a Clownface thug. Tapping his shoulder Bowman knocked him out when he looked in his direction. "And I thought there was more the three of them" he said moving quietly, his bow quirk ready to be used. Once he was up high enough, he aimed at Clownface, who was being attacked by Wild Hound, the werewolf of the group who was jumped and slashing at him, the mad clown losing his weapons to the mad dog, Eldar the lead was cutting down his thugs.
"Is that all?" she asked
"Seems so" Silver Mask answered as he banged the head of two clown thugs together and looked around, spotting movement "ABOVE US!" he said making Bowman jump down and elbow Clownface in the head knocking him out, the three vigilantes stepped back and gulped
"Aw shit" Knight muttered
"Is that?" Ryoko asked
"Yeah" Knight answered.
"You're the Bowman" Wild Hound said
"I am" his disguised voice said as he glared at them from under his hood
"You're like one of the greatest vigilantes ever!" Silver Mask said
"Not a compliment" Bowman frowned
"I'm sorry, they're just big fans of you their inspiration. I'm Eldar and these are Silver Mask an Wild Hound, those not here are Shelllraiser, Berzerker and Moonwing" Eldar said
"I see" Bowman nodded as he watched Eldar stepping back and blocking a sword strike from Knight
"KNIGHT!" Bowman gasped
"I'm sorry but I have to bring you in" Knight said
"Why because we're just doing something without a quirk license?" Sliver Mask asked "How do you know we don't have them" he asked
"Enough" Eldar said before she pulled a paper bomb from behind her back "I'll talk to you later, Bowman" she said throwing it on the ground, making a thick black cloud of smoke appear
"STOP THEM! Knight shouted as they got away.
"So the Vigilance, a network of Vigilantes around Australia, the main group working out here in the Gold Coast" Clinton read "Members have been found as south as Port Augusta and as far north as Broom" Clinton read off
"So they are real" Ryoko said as she handed him a mug of coffee. "You going after them?" she asked
"I may" Clinton said sipping his coffee. "And there are four others out here that weren't apart of the group. I'm cutting them some slack since they help stop Clownface"
"I see" Ryoko said as Alanna walked in "hey Alanna"
"Hey Ryoko, Mr Queen here are the final figures for the fundraiser last night" she said handing a file to Clinton, who opened and read it a smile on his face.
"Impressive, this was better than last year" he said as he put the folder on the desk and opened a document and filled in the details, frowning where he checked something.
"That was too close" Silver Mask said as he was resting in their lair, his silver mask in his had revealing a face full of freckles and dark brown hair
"But you have to admit, meeting Bowman was cool" Eldar said brushing his dark purple hair before grabbing a bag
"You have to go into work?" a man with round glasses and an apron on
"Yeah" Eldar said as she looked at herself in the mirror "I hate it but we need funds"
"Then quit" the man said "You know I can use my military pension" he said turning into his werwolf form
"I'm fine hound" Eldar smiled as she walked out the door.
"We need to some work from Longbow or something" Silver Mask muttered.
"We do" Wild Hound said "Any word from the others?"
"No" Silver Mask admitted "Maybe they found something"
"Let's just hope so" Wild Hound nodded.
Eldar walked up on stage wearing a naughty schoolgirl outfit and started to use the pole to dance, she enjoyed her night job as a vigilante and but her day job as an exotic dancer was a well paying one, even though she had to put up with various glares and wolf whistles. She did enjoy the dance aspect of it, it was also a good spot to get intel on villainous activity due to all the criminals that use it as a secret meeting place. She smiled as she slid down the pole, revealing her silk underwear under her mini skirt, the music thumping making it all but impossible to hear what was going on. Once she was finished her set she walked off the stage collecting the tips thrown on the stage for her and entered the dressing area, a bottle of water on in front of her mirror, she frowned noticing that all of the grills were whispering bout something
"What's up?" Eldar asked
"Clinton Queen just walked in" a cherry red haired woman said
'Bowman's here' she though "He ordered anything?" she asked
"Not to my knowledge" the woman said
"Cool, I'm going to take his order." Eldar smiled
"Amber Wattle" Clinton said as the girl walked up to him this time wearing a geisha like costume making the girl freeze "Or do you prefer Eldar?" he asked
"How did you find out?" Amber asked
"Your mother works for me" Clinton said "So you lead the vigilance huh?" Clinton asked
"I do" Amber said as she frowned "What do you want us to do?"
"You're not going to turn us in are you?"
"No, as you know I'm sort of a vigilante myself" Clinton said
"Yeah, the Bowman, you were a pro hero until you gave up your license after those riots and started to patrol the streets of the Gold Coast" Amber said "Drink?"
"Just a beer, Cooper's pale ale" Clinton said
"Okay" Amber said leaving.
"The Bowman huh?" a Viking like man said "I didn't think you were still doing that shit"
"Claude" Clinton said "I'm surprise you are here"
"I'm not as old as you old man" Claude said
"So you became Berserker, rather different from your old identity as my sidekick" Clinton muttered
"Yeah, that happened due to my mentor quitting and heading to Queensland, how can you stand the humidity here" Claude asked
"I'm sorry but the riots affected me" Clinton frowned
"It's okay boss" Claude said as he got up "My break's over"
"Break?" Clinton asked
"I'm a bouncer" Claude said
"I see" Clinton said as Amber came back with his beer "Thanks Amber" he smiled giving her a tip.
The next day Clinton was looking at some pictures on the wall as his assistant and Knight walked in
"Claude Adelaide, Amber Wattle, Clive Docker, Elvis Hound" Clinton said pointing to the photos
"Who are they?" Alanna asked
"The Vigilance" Clinton said
"NO way, how did you find those?" Alanna
"I have my ways' Clinton said as he looked over the data
"You're planning on training them aren't you?" Knight asked as he walked in
"I am" Clinton said as he picked up a case and places it on the table. "Your new sword"
"Thanks" Knight asked opening the case which held a ninjato like sword.
"Made to your specifications, we increased the amount of titanium in the blade, and added a carbon fibre handle weight reduction" Clinton explained as he saw his friend swinging his new blade around before putting it in the scabbard on his back "Not bad"
"And then there's these" Clinton grabbed a pair of smaller blade like objects which he flicked out into a pair of three bladed glaives
"Three blades?" Knight asked as he threw one and watched as it came back "Boomerang function?" Knight asked
"Yeah" Clinton smiled
"But seriously man, why the Vigilance?" Knight asked "You could be a teacher at any Hero school in Australia, especially since you guys are one of the biggest names in the support sector here
"I have my reasons" Clinton frowned
"Yeah, yeah" Knight sighed as he sat down.
"What do you think Claude?" Amber asked as she walked home with him
"He could be a good leader" Claude said throwing an empty bottle in the big as well
"But what about the others?" Amber asked
"I'm sure you're not going to hear anything
"we've been vigilantes for a year now, why have the police left us alone?" Amber asked
"I'm not sure, I'm a support technician when I'm not at the club, and I have a CQL" Claude said
"Your quirk is quite handy, you get to mast any weapon you touch" Amber said "You even made my blades"
"That's true, most of your weapons were made by me, and I was bowman's sidekick"
"What happened?" Amber asked
"He changed after the riots, he felt like being a pro hero was not the true way to go fohim so he switched to support and vigilantism" suddenly their phoens rang
"What is it Elvis?" Amber asked
"We've got a villain by your location" Elvis said
"Okay, too bad we don't have our gear" Amber said
"I can send Silver Mask with them" he said
"Thanks, tell us we can see him soon" Abmer nodded
"I think Shellraiser should be nearby as well" Claude said
"I'll ring him" Amber said.
In a gym not to far from where Amber and Claude was, a giant 8 foot turtle looking guy was boxing a punching back, the music he was playing was a mix of hip hop and hard rock, his head bopped along as he threw punch after punch at the back when the music cut off and replaced by a ringing phone. Sighing the giy picked it up "Shellraiser" he growled in a gruff voice
"Leo we need your help" Amber said
"Where are you?" he asked as he cracked his knuckles.
"I'll be there soon" Shellraiser said as he hung up and smirked as he walked out, making sure he locked the dor
"Now " He then walked over to the street where they were "AMBER, CLAUDE!" Shellraiser said
"Good to see you old friend" Claude said as Silver Mask arrived with two duffle bags. "Eldar, Berserk your gear"
"Thanks" Eldar said going into the van to changed
"Sup Leo, hope we didn't mess up you gym sesh" Silver Mask nodded
"I was just finishing" he said as he pulled out a katana, a bo-staff, tonfa and sais.
"Still going with the urban ninja thing?" Berserker asked
"Yeah, I'm Shellraiser" he said as he put a toothpick in his mouth "So where are they?"
"Let's get a move on" Silver Mask said as Eldar came out in her gear.
"ROGER !" the team said as they followed their lead.
"We are the Vigilance" Eldar said.
"Those idiots" Bowman said as he watched while perched up on hair, his sunglasses scanning them "Alanna what villain is in the area?"
"I'm still checking,. And you should be here getting those reports ready for tomorrow's board meeting" she snapped.
"That can wait" Bowmn said as he fired a grappling arrow so he could swing after them, landing on a building so he could re-equip the arrow he had used
"You look like you could use a hand" a voice said making Bowman turn around once as he landed, and what he saw behind him shocked in, for there behind him was a man in a purple suit, with a skull like shape cut out of his hood, his eyes covered by a domain mask. Bowman froze.
"You're him?" Bowman asked
"I am" the man said as he looked at the vigilante group "They're going to face him" the man said
"WHAT NO WAY!" Bowman said
"Boss, I got an identity on who the Vigilance is facing, its Street Skull" Alanna said
"Shit, try and make sure they don't do anything stupid!" Bowman said before he turned back to the man, who was gone "Figures he would disappear.
"What is it?" Alanna asked
"Nothing" Bowman said as an explosion sounded.
"Shit it's Street Skull!" Berserker said as a man in grey armour with a ragged piece of cloth over it and a white skull like mask, who pulled a bone knife out of his arms.
"The Vigilance" he said in a cold metallic voice I was wondering when you guys were going to come out and play" Street Skull laughed as he pulled out a stun grenade and threw it at them, Eldar quickly racing in and sliced them in half, negating their explosive capabilities.
"That's too close" Berserker said as he took an axe off his back and closed his eyes; gathering all he could about the axe, which was thanks to his quirk where he could master any weapon he held. Silver Mask pulled out a pair of guns and fired at hthe vill9an, which did nothing, the bullets pinging off the villians' armour which opened up so he could make another bone weapon and this time he flung it at Silver Mask
"SILVER MASK!" Bersrker shouted as he watched the bone knives fly straight at his friends, twirling his axe he quickly sliced one of them in half
"I got hi" Eldar shouted as she dashed in, using her telekinetic quirk to control her elven like swords. Street Skull just laughed at her pulling out what appeared to be his ribs and turning them into massive swords. He parried Eldar's blades, before holing hi hand out to grab her throat and lift her off the ground
"ELDAR!" Silver Mask shotted as he aimed at Street Skull, who moved Eldar into the line of sight of Silver Mask's guns.
"What are you going to do now huh?" Street Skull laughed as he held Eldar, crushing her airways so she couldn't breathe. Silver Mask was about ready to stand down when the sound of something flying through the air started, it hitting Street Skull's armour and sticking there "What?" her asked before he was blown up and sent flying.
"Surprise?" Bowman asked as he landed and pulled an arrow but and aimed at him
"Bowman!" the vigilante gasped
"Yeah" Bowman said as he stood up and glared at the armoured villain who was standing and quickly pulling a sword made of bone out of his leg "gross" he sneered with disgust.
"He can make his bones into weapons" Silver Mask said struggling to his feet and shaking his head.
"I know" Bowman said "Who's the reptile?"
"Name's Shellraiser!" he grunted
"Leo Splint" Bowman said shocking the group "I know about all of you, in fact I have an offer to make you" he said as he glared at the villain. Most of the vigilantes glared at him. Street Skull pulled out another grenade and threw it at them, Bowman seeing this and sniped it out of the air, while Silver Mask grabbed his gun and fired at the areas in between his armour. Shellraiser charged in with Knuckle dusters on his hand, punching Street Skull in the head, making several loud clangs
"Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow" Street Skull grunted before Berserker shoved his axe into Street Skull's axe. Reaching behind him, the villain removed the axe, throwing it away and rolling his shoulder "I will kill you all"
"You will try" Bowman said pulling out some AP Arrows, spearing into the armour. Eldar quickly moved in and started to slash at the armour, making the ragged coat fall away revealing the off white armour was not covered in grey scratch marks. Getting desperate Street Skull grabbed one more grenade and threw it down covering the area in a think grey cloud of smoke making the heroes cough and splutter.
"He's getting away" Shellraiser shouted before Bowman put a hand on his shell
"He'll keep. Besides there is something more that I need to discuss with you, come to Quiver Tower tomorrow, and wear your best clothes; and that goes for everyone on your team" he said walking away.
The next day The Vigilance walked over to where Clinton was standing in his best three piece suit
"Ah good morning" he smiled making the Vigilance nervous "Oh relax"
"We're here because you have something to talk to us about" Amber said
"You're right" Clinton said as he opened the door and walked out where dozens of reporters were there, In the back was Knight and Ryoko looking nervous.
"What the?" Elvis quietly asked.
"Good morning, as you know I am Clinton Queen, the creator of Longbow Technologies. I also am the hero Bowman; and as you may know I have been spotted in the past couple of days performing hero work, what you don't know is that I have renew my heroic quirk license; meaning I can now work as a pro hero again!" Clinton smiled shocking everyone
"Did you know?" Ryoko asked
"No" Knight said
"Now why have I unretired?" he asked "Well it is because of the people behind me: Claude Adelaide, Amber Wattle, Clive Docker, Elvis Hound and Leo Splint. There is also a sixth member we are looking into. They are the Vigilance and they will be a team of heroes who will work with the Green Quiver agency and Longbow Technology" Clinton said
"WHAT!" the Vigilance exclaimed shocked. Clinton turned to them and smiled before he turned back to the press and smiled
"Now any questions?" he asked.
G'day Guys Grizz her and this was a surprise I bit, after his only appearance in Chapter 9 Bowman is back and once again I tried to make this feel like an Arrow episode. But with that you also get a new team of vigilantes aka teh Vigilance. Yeah yeah I know punny name but these guys will be basically his team, much liek the MHA Vigilantes.
Now as for that mystery guy in the purple was basically this world's version of the legendary PHANTOM! One of the oldest characters arodun and he will be back you can bet on that and I look forward to using him
