No Five. It's not okay?! We are no longer welcome in our own Home and my Daughter has aged ten years!" - Allison wasn't happy with the Answer that Five gave them.
She couldn't and didn't want to give him the Time, to process this new Information in Peace.
"Hey - calm down, everything is fine. We have the Briefcase from the Commission and we can use it to fix everything", said Vanya, who wanted to avoid a Fight between Allison and Five.
"Everything is fine? Then how do you explain a Teenage Claire and a Toddler?", Diego spoke irritably.
"Lia no Toddler. Lia big girl!", - came it reproachfully from Amelia, who still didn't look at Diego, but started to play carefully with the Chain that Klaus was wearing.
"Naw of course you are a big Girl Cutie. Diego why didn't you ever tell us , that you create such cute Kids?", Klaus said and took the chain from his neck, gave it to Amelia and seemed completely fascinated by the dark-haired Girl.
"Because it's not Diego's Daughter. Nor is it Allison's Daughter. Two others Timelines seem to have crossed with this Timeline. Ours when we traveled from Dallas back to 2019...and sceond one is theirs", Five said exhausted and gestured once at Claire and Amelia. Claire didn't take this analysis very well.
"Why should what he says be true? He's barely older than us. Right Mom?" Claire spoke in a confident tone and if Five hadn't been so incredibly exhausted from the Fight, he would have twisted the girl's arm for these cheeky words.
"This is your Uncle Five Claire...you just haven't met him...back then...after I called you and said goodbye", Allison spoke now - a big question mark appeared on Claire's face. She looked from Allison to Five and shook her head.
"That...can't be...that's not Five. He was with us as Grandpa...", Claire trailed off and didn't seem to understand a few things...not understand to want. Wasn't this her Mom? It couldn't be otherwise. They had found their Family. They were safe...right?
"Lia? Now don't tell me you believe that nonsense about those timelines?", Claire tried to get her Cousin on her side after all.
But Amelia was fascinated by the Necklace and pulled it over her head , to smile proudly at Klaus. Her 'Uncle Klaus' had never had such an interesting Necklace.
"Um...the Girl isn't even 4 years old...I don't think she understands Time travel?", Luther spoke, still confused by the two Girls.
"Even you wouldn't understand the Complexities of Time Travel, if someone tried to explain it to you", Five commented, unimpressed.
"Yes, yes your job is so exhausting", Diego commented sarcastically.
"Five, where's the Suitcase?", Vanya asked optimistically.
"There are two Problems with that Statement..." , Five stood up from the Park bench, drawing all eyes and Attention.
"Just to Mention it again for you Neanderthals. Time travel is complicated...and I don't have the Commission's Briefcase anymore", - Five dropped the literal Bombshell.
The Hargreeves Siblings were not upset at being compared to an extinct earlier form of human Evolution.
No, the Fact that the Briefcase they had come with was no longer in Fives Possession - yes, that was the straw that broke the camel's back (right after Claire & Amelia's appearance) - Emotions ran high.
Was it Five's fault? No?! He had tried to save his siblings' ass in the Fight against Sparrow Academy. Yet again.
"Five where the hell is the Suitcase?", Allison asked in Shock.
"I don't know", Five admitted, and while Allison shook her head and her Attention shifted to Claire, who was holding an unused handkerchief towards her, so that Allison clean the blood...in the meantime, Diego made a snide comment.
"And now? Should we babysit these children who aren't ours? Is that part of your Plan as well Five?!"
"Hey, hey - everyone calm down. I know the Place , where we can all gather our chi, take a break and not have to pay any more Attention to those Sparrow Idiots", Klaus stood up with Amelia on his arm and led the Way - he seemed to know the Way and the Rest of the Hargreeves followed him.
Not necessarily because they really wanted to see this place...more because a group of puzzled 30 year olds with a Teenager and a Toddler couldn't lie by these park benches all day.
As they passed the Sparrow Academy Poster again, Luther made a grimace that looked more like a disgusted expression.
The 30-year-old Hargreeves didn't seem to like the Slogan and message behind Sparrow Academy either.
"I can't believe Dad replaced us with those Assholes", grumbled Luther.
"Suitable for Dad. According to Klaus, he was so disgusted with us back then in Texas...", Diego said bitterly and started to play with one of his Knives.
"Once we've rested...we can definitely work on a plan", Vanya tried to bring optimism back to the Group. At the Moment, the Mood was rather negative. Allison was pissed off at Five, because he didn't have the briefcase anymore, Diego seemed pissed off at the presence of the two strange Girls, and Luther seemed still confused about being beaten up so badly by Sparrow Academy's No. 1.
Amelia glanced from the Poster at Claire, who seemed to be fully enjoying Allison's Attention. The Girl, caught in her own power, looked back at the Poster and cocked her head. Only then did she notice a small Detail, that she hadn't noticed before. One of the members looked familiar to her.
"Claire?" - the Girl turned in Klaus' arms , so that she could face Claire. But her Cousin seemed so engrossed in the Conversation with Allison, explaining to her Mother, that her Dad had not only remarried after the Divorce, but had a new baby with his Wife as well. Claire lived with her Mother and she had been in regular contact with Grace, Pogo and Reginald.
Only slowly did Claire and Allison seem to understand , that they came from two different alternate Universes. But the mother-daughter bond still seemed to be there.
Amelia made no second Attempt, to point out the Detail to her Cousin. She lowerd her Head and said nothing. Half-listened as Klaus talked about a Hotel.
"What are we going to do now?" - Allison walked alongside Claire, the Rest of the Family members followed them.
They were on one of the park's busier sidewalks. Klaus seemed to have an exact plan of where they were going.
"Survive?", came sarcastically from Five.
"Why is everyone staring at us like that?", Klaus asked in surprise.
"Because we look like someone beat up the Village People" - grumbled Diego and wanted to steal Klaus' Cowboy hat.
However, both Brothers forgot that Klaus actually had Amelia in his Arms and during the little 'fight' between Diego and Klaus, Amelia landed more badly than well on the Ground of the Sidewalk.
A surprised sound abducted the Girl and she quickly stood up, brushing the dirt off her dress and it didn't seem like the first time she had fallen out of the safe arms of an Adult.
Diego and Klaus only noticed this Problem when Amelia walked in front of them and didn't seem to hold grudges about the Incident. But you could see from the Child, that every step cost an awful lot of energy and effort.
"Amelia right? Should I carry you further? Don't worry, I won't let you fall down", - Vanya noticed what had happened and offered her help.
Amelia hesitated for a Moment, but she also recognized something of her 'Aunt Vanya' in this 'Vanya' and so she nodded and Vanya carried her on a little later.
At least she didn't have to worry about being pushed off her Transport...because Diego really wanted Klaus's cowboy hat. But she still wore the cool chain.
"Okay? You know what, Claire and I are going back to L.A. now and sorting out this...new baby and divorce thing. See you later!" Allison wanted to turn away along with Claire, who seemed taken with the idea , but Vanya spoke again.
"Allison wait! Let's go to the Hotel Klaus was talking about first, clean the wounds and then figure out what to do okay?" , Vanya suggested while Amelia made a rattling noise of support with the pendants on the chain in Agreement.
"My words - let's go to Hotel Obsidian. The most secluded place where nobody will watch us!", - Klaus clapped his hands once and walked ahead.
The rest of the Group followed him.
