Back in YGGDRASIL, there existed a limiter upon every player. The said limiter was used as a benchmark of one's power as it was the only way to gauge the true extent of one's abilities and how strong they were in the battles.

Satoru knew this fact that the world where he found himself in worked on an entirely different principle than YGGDRASIL.

Despite the sheer number of similarities, this world had powerful number of beings hidden somewhere waiting to return on this planet.

While he had no problems with their internal matters, some of them were so tyrannical in their stories that Satoru was afraid of meeting them. He lacked power, units, options, and most importantly, knowledge.

The increment of levels had put him at edge of what kind of powers existed here. If they could level up like him, then it might be possible that they had enough time to surpass him as well.

Satoru needed options and powers. So, he thought to raise his Racial class by 5 more levels.

Heteromorphs were given a limit of having 45 levels in their racial skill tree. He fell into the same category as an Overlord.

There were many variants of Overlords in the YGGDRASIL. Some specialized in magical prowess, some in chronomancy, while most in undead manipulation. Satoru fell into the last category as his Necromancy was the strongest trump card. His Eclipse class was the proof of his specialization in that field.

After his victory over Tchazzar, his level limiter had been pushed so high that he had now 114 levels in total. Out of that number, he invested 5 levels in Necromancer class to complete its limit. As of then, his general class was 15, the maximum. The effect of this job evolution was pretty evident in his Create Undead traits of his Overlord racial skills.

The remaining 9 were yet to be invested as he was not sure where he should go after this.

Should he raise his racial class as an Overlord variant? Or, should he invest them in new job classes? He was in dilemma, but he would figure it out, eventually.

Hid mission was completed. Diderius got what he'd wanted from him in return to use his divination pool.

Countless realities came and vanished as he searched for his next part of plan.

Seven mountains of Celestia, Twin Paradises of Bytopia, Ever-changing realm of Xaos, Elemental realms of primordial chaos and finally, the Nine Hells of Baator. The plane of reality where he was going to meet Tiamat for the completion of the mission.

While he had no enmity towards the Chromatic Dragon Goddess, her disastrous intentions were what putting her as a threat. He also found that the Deities could be killed as long as they had no devotees to support them. Without any devotees, their divine spark would dwindle into nothingness and they would succumb to death.

That was how he defeated Tchazzar. He exploited that weakness and killed his most powerful clerics and devotees, and used his Eclipse skill to weaken his quasi-divinity to the point where he became harmless.

If the same process happened to Tiamat, then Satoru was sure of his victory over her as well. Despite being a lesser deity, she still needed her retainers to support her existence. Once he dealt with her strongest clerics and Paladins, he would easily kill her.

He mused at his plans and various other contingencies that he could use against her. He was so engrossed in his thought that he ignored the presence of Diderius for a moment.

"So, is that why you requested for my divination pool?"

The sudden question of Diderius broke his thought, as Satoru stared directly at Diderius.

"Pardon?"

"I am asking about your motive. Why are you interested in the Nine Hells? Don't you think it is dangerous place to venture, especially for an undead? The lands are hot, the sky rains the fireballs randomly. That's not the best place to visit, you know?"

"Yes. I know."

"Then, why? Do you have a means to deal with fire? Have you successfully managed to won over your fire vulnerabilities?"

Satoru shooked his head negatively.

"So?"

Satoru thought for a moment on how to answer his ally. He wanted to tell him the truth, but decided against it. Not only it sounded surreal to hear, he had no way of making it look normal to others. So at the end, he decided to narrate his own story in a fantastical way. That might be a partial lie, but it seemed to be simpler than the other way.

"The thing is, a long time ago, when I was just a kid. A normal kid with no knowledge of right and wrong, these dragons fought a war on my land. They destroyed the lands to fulfill their greed, they exploited the weak to manage their luxury, the poor became poorer and the rich became richer. I lost my mother as she overworked for the sake of my birthday." He paused for a moment and watched the barren lands of Avernus with his burning gaze, "I am strong now. I may be able to handle those tyrants, but I want to kill the very source of this problem. I may sound like a hypocrite for bullying those who are weaker than me, but if I left them unchecked then they will harass me instead."

He clenched his fist in anger as his words carried an aggressive tone.

"I want to live in this beautiful world. Unstained by the tyranny of the corrupted ones, and always full of adventures." Satoru was done with his reply.

He waited for the response from the Mummy Lord. For all he knew about the undeads, they might mock him for thinking like a naive undead archmage. But, he did not care about. It depended whether they were eager to die by his hands, or be his slaves had they started to become nuisance for him.

Mummy Lord was silent at his words. No words were exchanged after that as he bowed and left Suzuki on his own.

Satoru did not stop him as well, just glanced for once on him.

Closing the doors of his divination room, Diderius left the guest he had received a few days ago.

When he first met Satoru, he was a little scared on being raided by some powerful archmage. But it never happened.

When Satoru requested for his divination pool, Diderius had an idea of what kind of person this lich was. As he contemplated about his story, Diderius sensed like he was hiding something from him, but at the same time, Satoru told him the truth.

Diderius could understand that something had happened which led him to live like an undead, but it was not his place of judging others. Everyone had reasons for becoming what they never wanted to. They never had a choice to live like how they wished to. Diderius also went through the same treatment.

But leaving his guest's story aside, the Mummy Lord was curious about his magic.

He wanted to study this alien magic called Tier magic. It felt too similar to the ones used in Faerun, with few differences. The problem was, Satoru had no interests in teaching his Art with him.

But he was Diderius, the Mummy Lord, who was older than cities like Waterdeep and was familiar with the most planes of realities, even parallel realities.

"Should I become his warlock then? He seemed to be very chill guy to me."

Diderius considered the possibility of getting new spells out of him through pact magic. It was the easiest way of getting the good graces of this undead...
