Chapter 1

"Shirou, dear, you better hurry, otherwise you're going to be late for your bus!" A voice called out, causing Shirou to let out a small sigh. Honestly, while he was thankful for the opportunity to study at a new school, he wasn't sure how he felt about leaving his family behind. 'Then again, with Sella running things, I won't have to worry too much.'

"Right, I'll be right there." He replied, being sure to make sure he had everything he needed. He was wearing his Homurahara uniform, since he couldn't find the uniform for his new school anywhere. Around his neck was a pendant of sorts, it was ornate being designed with blue and gold, with eight strange protrusions on the sides and a reflective mirror face one side.

He didn't know why, but he always wore it, feeling like it was something he needed. According to his mother, Irisviel, it was a keepsake from his biological mother. He may not have memories of her, but the emotions behind the pendant were still strong. He let out a sigh, before placing the pendant inside of his shirt.

He grabbed his bokken and placed it into it's silk carrying case and slung it over his shoulder. It was one of the first gifts that Irisviel had given him, so he wasn't going to leave home without it. The rest was just different essentials that he may need at the dorm.

After getting his things, he made his way out of the house, being stopped by his mother on the way. Thankfully, he said his goodbyes to everyone the previous day since no one would be there in the morning, except for his mother. Illya had school, Sella and Liz left to pick up groceries, which left Irisviel.

"Alright, I'm ready to head out. I'll be sure to keep in touch as much as I can." Shirou said with a small smile. Irisviel had her usual happy smile on her face, seeing him off from the house.

"Be sure to make friends, Shirou. Oh, and try to have fun. I don't want you to get to caught up in helping everyone that you forget to take care of yourself, okay?" She said with a hint of worry in her voice, though Shirou simply shook his head.

"Don't worry, I'll do my best. Tell everyone I'll miss them while I'm gone." Shirou waved before grabbing his things and making his way towards the bus stop. Irisviel simply smiled and waved as he left. Though, he missed the slightly worried expression she made once he turned.

"Oh, Shirou. I hope this doesn't end up being too much for you." She then shook her head. "No, I'm sure if there's anyone who could help with coexistence, it'll be you." Irisviel whispered to herself, watching until he was out of sight, her red eyes lighting up slightly before turning and heading back into the house.

The bus ride was always pretty nerve wracking, especially when you were like Tsukune Aono. He let out a sigh, 'Flunking out of the high school entrance exam and now heading to a strange school that my dad just happened to stumble upon on the way home from a flier.' Honestly, it was pretty strange, but beggars couldn't be choosers.

Even the bus driver was odd. He had an odd aura about him, rather, it was creepy. 'He told me to prepare myself because it was a horrifying school, but how bad could it really be?' The bus then rolled to a stop, surprising him. After a few moments, he saw someone step aboard the bus, carrying a few bags with a sword case on his back.

He was likely like him, wearing an old uniform. Though, he wondered why he was going to this school, unless he was like him when it came to failing as well. 'Not likely.' The boy seemed normal enough. He was pretty tall and muscular, likely from training with the sword on his back. He had what looked like golden eyes with rust red hair, though he noticed that there was some parts that seemed to fade to pink interspersed throughout.

He wondered if it was natural, though from the looks of it, it most likely was. Which made it even more strange. He watched as the boy did a double take at the bus driver, with a very subtle shifting of his eyes, before he continued onto the bus. When he noticed him, the boy had a slight smile on his face, which was friendly enough.

Tsukune was a bit nervous though, as he couldn't imagine why another student would be on the same bus to somewhere like this. "Hello, it seems we'll be classmates at the same school." He said to him, sitting his bags down and holding out his hand. "My name's Shirou Emiya."

"Uh, Tsukune Aono, and it certainly seems so." He replied with a weak laugh. "Do you know anything about the school we're heading to?" He decided to ask. Shirou looked at him for a moment, before shaking his head.

"Sorry, no. My mother sort of told me about it and was really excited for me to go, so I never really asked for specifics. She said that I shouldn't have too much trouble there, but that it's different from normal schools." Shirou replied while rubbing the back of his head. Tsukune couldn't help but slouch a bit dejectedly.

However, he decided not to let that get to him. 'At least it seems Shirou is a nice enough person.' "Normal schools, I suppose that makes sense." Tsukune knew that had to be true if they were willing to take him in. "Speaking of, are you part of a kendo club or is it more of a hobby?" He asked, deciding to make some small talk.

He noticed Shirou look down at the sword on his lap. "Oh, you're talking about this? No, this is more of a hobby, I don't compete competitively. I was in the archery club, but that was more for my family than anything." So, Tsukune and Shirou continued to talk to pass the time, thankfully taking his mind off of the creepy bus driver and strange destination.

Though, it didn't take his mind off of it enough to make him miss the change in the environment. The moment they exited out of a tunnel, it was like they entered a whole other world. Strangely, Shirou felt like he could breathe a little easier now, though he chalked it up to not being in the city anymore.

After the bus driver urged them to be careful, the two stepped off the bus and looked out into a new world, with the school off on the horizon. "Whoa, this is like a completely different world. Honestly, it's pretty freaky, I almost want to go back home." He muttered, before seeing the school. "Wow, it looks like a haunted mansion."

Shirou couldn't deny that. The place did give off a spooky vibe. Though, it didn't bother him as much as that bus driver's scent. It was, inhuman, if he had to describe it. It was completely different from what he was used to. Then again, he wasn't exactly normal himself, dreams not withstanding.

"Well, it is called Yokai Academy, it makes sense that it'd have that kind of aesthetic." He answered, looking at the jack-o-lantern scarecrow set up at the bus stop. He figured it served as a sort of landmark, considering it even had a sign telling them it was indeed Yokai Private Academy.

Though, what really caught his interest was the insane bounded field they were inside of. He noticed it when they crossed the threshold, but he brushed it off as he couldn't feel anything harmful about it. However, that didn't mean he couldn't feel how powerful it was. His mind wanted to associate it with something, but he couldn't quite remember what it was.

'Noble Phantasm?' He thought to himself, before shaking his head. 'That was weird, where did that come from?' Whatever it was, it put the bounded field around his home to shame, and that was saying something. Stuck in his thoughts, he missed the varying degrees of shock his new acquaintance was going through.

At least, until a unique scent made itself known, followed by... 'Is that a bike?' He thought, before turning around and seeing a pink haired girl on a bike that was out of control. It seemed Tsukune had heard the noise as well, as he was in the process of turning around. "Watch out!" His body moved on autopilot, quickly reacting and running over and lightly pushing Tsukune out of the way.

After that little push, Shirou attempted to reach out and slow the bike to a stop. It would have worked too, if said bike's wheel didn't strike a rock in the road. The bike flipped, causing the girl to be thrown from her seat. Shirou was thankful for his sword training, otherwise he would have lost his footing and, considering his luck, landed in a precarious way.

He was able to regain his footing and managed to catch the girl after making sure the bike landed off to the side. Everything was moving in slow motion, thanks in part to his own skills and reinforcement, but also, the girl was quite cute all things considered. Her long pink hair contrasted beautifully with her green eyes, and there was also the fact that her body was quite mature.

He had no doubt that the girl would likely be the center of attention in the school. Though, he was quickly reminded of where he was when he took a step back and stepped on a rock causing him to lose his footing and have to kneel down, trying not to drop the girl. To his surprise, he caught the scent of something very familiar, though it only lasted for a moment.

The girl lifted a hand to her head, "I-I'm sorry, I got dizzy from my anemia." Shirou tilted his head, before noticing Tsukune in his peripheral vision, stunned by the girl's beauty. 'Can't really blame him, though I've spent enough time around Irisviel, Sella, and Liz not to be affected too much.' He wouldn't add Illya in there for very obvious reasons.

Though, that quick scent he caught was bugging him. Then he remembered what she said. 'Wait, Anemia? That's...' "Are you alright?" He asked, ignoring his own thoughts. The girl looked up, before looking around and noticing a small cut on Shirou's hand. It almost looked like she was going to reach for something, before she got a dazed look in her eyes.

She muttered something, though Shirou could make out the word "Blood", which surprised him. "Oh, no, I can't control myself when I smell that." Shirou's instincts then sharpened to eleven. The girl was pulling herself closer towards him. To Tsukune, it would look like she was going in for a kiss, but he knew better.

Shirou quickly reached into his uniform's jacket pocket, pulling out a small first aid kit. With one hand, he opened it up and reached in and quickly grabbed what he was looking for. "I'm sorry, it's just..." Her eyes closed, just as Shirou put what he grabbed in front of her mouth, allowing her to bite into it.

Shirou noticed Tsukune's eyes widen with shock, which wasn't a surprise. The girl was too focused in her meal to finish, so Shirou unconsciously did it for her. "You're a vampire." He breathed out, causing Tsukune to stiffen. The girl quickly recovered, before standing up real fast with a remorseful expression.

"Oh, I'm so sorry." She quickly said, her cheeks reddening slightly. Shirou had a feeling the girl apologized for her nature quite a lot. "My name's Moka Akashiya, and I'm a vampire, even if I look normal." Shirou could only smile lightly at the girl, while he felt he could hear Tsukune's head exploding. 'So, this kid has no connection to the supernatural at all then.'

He suspected it, but this only confirmed it. Shirou picked up the disposable blood bag he had in his first aid kit and placed it back in before closing it and putting it back in his pocket. "You mean like a bloodsucking monster that hates crosses and stuff?!" Tsukune cried out, moving a little closer to him for some reason. Shirou only sighed, realizing that it was natural for him to be scared.

Moka placed her hands on her cheeks and began to bashfully twist back and forth. "Yes, and thank you so much for the treat, that blood was sooo yummy." Shirou couldn't help but let out a small amused snort at that.

"It was no problem at all. I always make sure to carry it on me for emergencies." Shirou replied, with Tsukune stilling for a moment.

"Wait, Sh-Shirou, are you a vampire too?!" He asked with a shaky voice, though Shirou simply shook his head. He could practically see the relief in the kid's face when he did so.

"No, but you could say I'm well acquainted with vampires. They often suffer from anemia if they don't feed for too long." Shirou replied, trying to inform Tsukune, mainly to make sure he keeps an eye out. 'Most vampires are careful to not suck other people's blood so carelessly, but there's something about this boy that makes me think it won't be so easy for him to avoid that.'

Shirou shrugged, he'd do his best to watch out for him, but Moka didn't strike him as the kind to just treat him as a meal so he should be fine. Probably. "Um...Do you hate our kind...you know...vampires?" Moka asked, looking at Tsukune rather than him.

Tsukune quickly recovered and gave a nervous laugh. "No, I wouldn't say that! Vampires are pretty unique, you know." Shirou only nodded along with his words, since it was true. The girl's expression lit up and she smiled at the two boys.

"That's great! Then if you're okay with me, will you two please be my friends? I was feeling lonely since I don't know anyone here!" Shirou had to admit, it was pretty hard not to be smitten with her. He could already tell by the look on Tsukune's face that he was already charmed by the beautiful vampire.

"Of course, my name's Shirou Emiya, and this is Tsukune Aono. It's a pleasure to meet you." Shirou said with a short bow of his head. Tsukune panicked for a moment, before doing the same. Moka giggled, her smile still present on her face.

"I'm very pleased to meet you both. When the entrance ceremony is over, please come talk with me some more, okay?" Her voice was very sweet, so much so that Shirou was sure that her sentences ended with hearts rather than normal periods and question marks.

The three then made their way towards the academy, but before they got too far, Moka had to ask him something important. Well, important to her. "Oh, what kind of blood bag was that, Shirou? I thought only vampires could get those?"

Tsukune seemed to be interested in it as well. "Oh, well, it was actually my blood." He replied in a matter of fact tone. Though, he guessed that Tsukune would be surprised, but seeing Moka's surprised expression was surprising. "Why? Is that bad?"

She shook her head quickly. "No, not at all! It was just very tasty and rejuvenating. It felt warm, like the sun!" She said while placing a hand on her cheek, remembering the taste of it. Shirou wasn't surprised, he had gotten that feedback before as well. Though, he did find it odd that it was always specific with the sun part.

"Shirou, were you friends with a vampire before coming here?" Tsukune asked in a shaky voice, likely scared that such things were out in the real world. Shirou shot him a small, reassuring smile.

"Something like that. The supernatural are around, but they're mostly peaceful and tend to prefer to blend in. Chances are, you've run into the supernatural at one point in your life." He noticed Moka seemed to look a bit sad for a moment. Shirou could only guess that she was seen as weird by others.

Though, he was glad that Tsukune seemed to settle down a bit when he said that. He likely thought that vampires were bloodthirsty monsters. Well, if Yokai Academy was what he thought it was, then he hoped he could help Tsukune not freak out too much. 'Besides, how bad could it be?'

After the entrance ceremony, which was surprisingly dull, all things considered, Tsukune and Shirou headed towards their class. Surprisingly, and to Tsukune's relief, the two were in the same class. "Hello everyone and welcome to Yokai Academy! I will be your home room teacher, Shizuka Nekonome."

Shirou's sixth sense, rather his ability to detect magical scents, was going haywire ever since he entered the academy grounds. He thought that there would be some normal humans here, but so far, every single person other than Tsukune was something else. He was doing his best to hide it, but it was giving him a migraine.

He knew it'd settle down eventually, but for now, it was annoying. Tsukune was sitting in front of him, giving him a decent radius where he wasn't overwhelmed by some strange scent. He was largely ignoring the home room teacher at this point, trying to wrap his head around what was going on. He could make out what she was saying, like the school was built for the sake of monsters.

Apparently, with so many humans occupying a majority of the world, the monsters had to coexist peacefully to survive, which he already knew. What the school was for, was to teach the young monsters how to coexist. He could see Tsukune was about to implode, 'Hopefully he keeps it together, otherwise this could end badly.'

It wouldn't do for the two of them to get expelled on the first day, after all. Thankfully, there was a rule to not let others know your 'True Form', as they called it. Though, he wondered if these rules were actually enforced, considering the teacher was flaunting her tail in the front of the classroom.

Shirou sighed, thankfully, his migraine was going away. His senses were settling and adjusting to his new surroundings. Though, he wouldn't lie, physically he was feeling better than ever. He noticed it when he entered the bounded field. He felt better overall, though he guessed it had something to do with magical energy or something.

He noticed Tsukune react with disgust to someone's words, causing Shirou to look up and notice a blonde student with piercings in the front of the class. Shirou could instantly tell the guy was scum. He normally gave people the benefit of the doubt, but something deep within him was disgusted by him. He felt something burning in his chest, telling him to remove his existence from the world.

However, he squashed that feeling. He wasn't going to cause trouble. He was here because his mother wanted him to make friends and have fun, at least, that's what she said. He met Tsukune and Moka, so he felt he was making pretty good progress on that front. He was even able to help Moka with her anemia.

He then noticed a small uproar, causing him to shake his head and try and see what was going on. To his surprise, as well as Tsukune's, Moka walked into the classroom. Everyone was commenting on her beauty, though some were quite vulgar, which irked him. They even talked about her transformation, which told him a lot.

Vampires didn't really have to transform, since they already looked like humans. It was more like their vampiric traits just receded. Though, he still thought it was odd that o didn't smell like a normal vampire. 'Well, she did for a moment, but it instantly went away.' It was odd, but he ignored it. He was more interested in her rosary.

Normally, he could get a rough understanding of items, mostly weapons, with swords being the best, but her rosary just outright rejected him. The eye-like jewel even looked like it was disappointed when he tried, but he shrugged that off. 'It's an inanimate object, maybe it's just incompatible with me?'

The vampire girl the beamed at the two, "Tsukune, Shirou! We're in the same class!" She quickly made her way over to the two of them, easily ignoring all of the students and their comments. It was pretty impressive considering Shirou was having a hard time ignoring it himself. Tsukune was definitely not able to ignore it, though it seemed Moka was occupying most of his thoughts at the moment.

Shirou couldn't help but let out a weak chuckle, though he caught scent of a few things that slightly concerned him. One was rather sweet and slightly disorienting, reminding him of a certain blindfolded woman from his dreams. The other scent was strangely familiar to him, but he couldn't quite place it.

It reminded him of snow, but there was something comforting about it. He just couldn't quite remember why that was. He mentally sighed, he figured he'd figure it out later. Though, he couldn't quite shake the feeling that someone was watching him.

Considering it was the first day, classes didn't really last all that long if one were to compare it to a human school. Though, it seemed that the vampire girl wasn't bothered by that one bit. Watching people was always interesting, well, normally it was. Though, this hobby only started because of a single reason. That reason was that she was looking for someone.

That pink hair of the vampire girl stirred some memories in her the first time that she saw her. It was probably why she decided to keep an eye on her in particular. The girl was beautiful, there was no doubt about that, but there wasn't much that was interesting about her, save for the rosary around her neck. Incidentally, this was how she figured out the girl was a vampire.

It was just a passing fascination, nothing more. Just something to pass the time before she moved on to something more interesting. However, to her surprise, after class ended, the vampire girl exited the classroom with two boys beside her. Judging from the bright expression on her face, it was easily noticeable that the two were her friends. That wasn't what caught her attention.

One of the boys looked incredibly average. He had standard dark brown hair and brown eyes, and while he looked like a kind person, that's all there was to him. He seemed weak and extremely anxious. Any other time, it may have been enough for her to keep an eye on him, but this wasn't any other time.

It was the second boy that took her breath away and caused her heart to pound in her chest. He had piercing golden eyes and rustic red hair that appeared to be fading into pink in some places. To her, he looked incredibly handsome and was built like a swordsman. He looked strong, though it wasn't exactly his physical strength she was talking about.

No, he had a strong gaze that appeared to see through everything. He stood tall and confident, walking alongside the girl and other boy in a way that looked like he was ready to jump in and protect them at any moment. In her eyes, he was as bright as the sun from the moment she saw him.

She continued to follow the trio, hopping from behind columns and lockers to keep herself hidden. To her dismay, someone ended up breaking her concentration by bothering her, causing her to lose sight of the three for a moment. When she recovered, she noticed that the trio had turned into a duo, with her target being no way in sight. She quickly made her way forwards, trying to find wherever he escaped to.

However, when she did so, she felt a hand tap her shoulder. She immediately turned and almost turned into her true form, with the temperature dropping around her significantly for a moment, before seeing who it was. Standing there in front of her was the boy she was watching, looking at her with a questioning gaze. "Can I help you with something?"

Her eyes widened as her mouth opened to reply, but nothing came out. "Ah." 'Oh no. I wasn't expecting this to happen so soon!' "Um." Something about her must have caused him to relax a bit, as he shot her a somewhat comforting smile.

"You don't have to be nervous, I was just wondering why you were following us?" He said, rubbing the back of his head. 'Oh no, this isn't good, he's still so bright.' She couldn't help herself. The fact that her body was already moving without listening to her was evidence that she had lost control, not that she minded. Her hands reached up and caressed his face, causing his face to redden.

He seemed to be caught off guard, but she continued, standing on the tips of her toes before gently placing her lips onto his while closing her eyes. She felt him stiffen for a moment, before his hands came up and grabbed her own, however, to her surprise, he relaxed. She then separated from him, noticing that he seemed somewhat dazed. She couldn't help but smile.

"I finally found you, Shirou!" She then wrapped her arms around him and placed her head firmly on his chest. Monsters like her usually hated warmth, but there was something about Shirou that made her forget it. It was something else entirely, which was always the case. She hummed, content with the situation, unaware of Shirou's thoughts.

He just wanted to find out why they were being followed, thinking it was a monster who wanted to harm them. That was all it was supposed to be. However, the moment the girl placed her cold hands on his face, it was like he was in a trance. No, that wasn't right, there was something oddly familiar about it. It was so familiar that he subconsciously couldn't bring himself to fight against it.

Then she kissed him. He immediately moved to separate her from him, but just when he started to, something strange happened. He saw things that he had no recollection of. He saw a young girl with long purple hair and purplish blue eyes in a white and blue kimono. She had some kind of lollipop in her mouth and was pulling a younger him through some wooded area covered in snow.

"Here it is, Shirou. Look, aren't they super pretty?" The young girl said softly, showing him a field of blue flowers that looked like they were made out of ice or crystals. He knelt down and picked one of the flowers before giving it to her, causing the girl to smile softly. She then held his hand, before looking at him in the eyes.

"I-I love you so much, Shirou! When we grow up, let's get married!" She exclaimed, being quite adamant in her declaration. The younger him nodded, before smiling at her. Before he could hear the rest, or even remember anything else, Shirou was back in the present.

He looked down, seeing the young girl from his memories all grown up. She still had long purple hair, though it seemed a bit more wild than what he remembered. Her outfit was far removed from the kimono he remembered. Heck, it wasn't even the school's uniform.

It was a light brown, pleated, checkered skirt and a white sweatshirt with blue baggy sleeves that revealed her shoulders. It appeared she wore some sort of tank top underneath it, along with light and dark purple striped stockings with a belt tied around her thigh for some was also her gold pendant, which he guessed was important to her.

Honestly, he was surprised to even remember that small bit from his past, considering he had never regained any memories from when he was young ever. Even his dreams never showed him past a certain age. He figured it was just his amnesia and over active imagination bleeding over into his sleep, but he was beginning to rethink that. Something was going on.

However, even a small bit of memory was good. Especially since it seemed to be about something rather important. He remembered his childhood friend, a yuki-onna, or snow woman. It seemed he had ties to monsters since he was young, which was concerning. Sure, he was a mage, but that was taught to him by the Einzbern's and his father, who adopted him.

He couldn't imagine how a normal human boy could attract a monster girl. Even now, he was a little overwhelmed. From the sounds of it, she had been looking for him for awhile, which made him feel bad. He wondered how old he was when he last saw her. Was that the last time? Why would she look for him for so long? Was he that important to her?

His thoughts were interrupted when he remembered they were still in a rather public space, seeing and hearing students comment on his current predicament. There was also the fact that he was beginning to feel how much she had grown up. Even when he saw her before he remembered who she was, she was a beautiful girl, but now that he now had some memories along with the corresponding emotions, it was a bit much considering how well endowed she was.

He was a teenager after all! He tried to separate himself from her, but the girl was practically glued onto him. "Um, Mizore?" He spoke her name aloud, remembering who she was finally. Oddly enough, this seemed to be enough to get her to let go of him. She stepped back and tilted her head to the side. She had a soft smile on her face as she stuck some sort of lollipop in her mouth.

"You finally remember me?" She asked, though her voice was rather calm reserved, he could feel the hope and excitement present within it. Shirou couldn't help but feel saddened by it. He did remember her, but it wasn't like it was anything substantial. Not that he'd call what he remembered unimportant, because it really was, but he thought he'd remember something about his origins.

"I, uh, remembered a little bit." He said nervously, seeing her eyes grow curious. "The thing is, I don't remember much from when I was younger. I was in an...accident...so I lost my memories. In fact, this is the first time that I even caught a small glimpse of that time."

He expected her to be saddened by that, but it didn't seem to upset her at all. In fact, she seemed a bit happier. "So, I was able to help you regain your memories?" Shirou nodded, to which she proceeded to walk over and hug his arm. "In that case, I'll simply have to stay by your side and help you remember the rest of them." 'Not exactly what I had in mind.'

Of course, he wasn't going to say that. It wasn't that bad of an idea though. She was the first person he'd met that had any connection to his past. Considering he remembered something at all was enough to tell him that she was rather important. "I, uh, suppose that'll be fine." He heard her then hum contentedly.

He supposed if she was happy, then that was okay. However, it felt like he was forgetting something. He then felt like something was wrong, though he couldn't quite explain why. His eyes widened, "Crap, Moka and Tsukune!" He was about to take off, before remembering Mizore, who looked up at him with a puzzled expression.

"Sorry, but I have to find my friends. I promise I'll come right back, but I have to get to them now." She seemed to understand, as her grip loosened, allowing him to take off and look for the two of them. He couldn't explain how, but he felt like they were in trouble. He hadn't ever felt like this before, but he could figure that out later. He subtly reinforced himself and ran faster, passing multiple students.

Saizou Komiya was a predator, pure and simple. He was a monster who enjoyed preying on those weaker than himself, believing himself to be greater, though there was one specific thing that he enjoyed preying on the most, women. So far, it had mainly been human women, before he was caught and thrown into this school.

However, that didn't mean he would stop, as he wasn't a weak monster. To his surprise, a target made itself known to him from the get go. Moka Akashiya, she was an unparalleled beauty who he simply wanted to have to himself. To his disgust, her focus was on some weaklings. He thought he'd have some fun getting rid of them in front of her, or maybe enjoying her in front of them, but one of them wasn't around.

That soured his mood, though he figured it was a blessing in disguise. The other boy looked like a fighter and likely would have done everything to protect them. He didn't feel like dealing with that, which was why he was so lucky now. He had to take the chance now that it was only the weakling and her alone.

Which is exactly what he did. "Go ahead, scum. Turn into your true form. It won't matter." His monstrous form loomed over the boy and girl. The boy looked like he was about to pass out, but was managing to stay upright, likely to try and protect the girl. "I tell you what, just give me Moka Akashiya and I'll let you live." He said with a laugh.

He knew the weakling would take it, they always did. He'd love to see the despair on her face when she saw him run for his life. However, to his surprise that didn't happen. "I-I r-refuse! I won't let you hurt her!" A growl escaped his throat, 'Who does this scum think he is talking to?' The little punk was getting on his nerves.

"Very well, I'll just pummel into you the ground and make you watch as your powerless self can do nothing but watch!" His grotesque clawed arm came forward with tremendous speed, aimed directly for him.

"Tsukune!" An unfamiliar voice called out, before a blur pushed the weakling out of the way. For a split second, Saizou saw that it was the other fool. 'It doesn't matter.' He thought as his hand hit the other boy and sent him flying through a few of the headstones nearby.

"Shirou!" Tsukune and Moka yelled out, as they saw their friend being batted away so easily. Saizo only let out a satisfied laugh, amused at the turn of events that had taken place. Despite being a bit upset and not dealing with the other kid, he was now content since the idiot came and basically gifted himself to him on a silver platter.

"What an idiot! What did he think sacrificing himself would do?!" He continued to laugh, the line of thought being so idiotic and foolish that he couldn't help himself. He turned his attention back towards his previous targets, grinning maniacally at their expressions. He was about to reach out, when he felt his monster blood and instincts screaming at him.

His blood felt like it was boiling, causing him to turn his head towards the direction it was coming from, seeing a surge of yoki swirling around area he hit Shirou into. The yoki swirled, before it seemed to be drawn into whatever source generated it, before an aura of it settled upon the area. However, to Saizou, it felt like he was looking at the sun.

'It hurts.' He had taken hits like that before, but he was usually prepared for them. 'Come on, get back up.' He knew that he had to protect them. It didn't matter how badly he was hurt, he had to save them. Sure they were monsters, but that didn't change anything. If there was someone who needed to be saved, he would save them.

Amidst the pitch black surroundings, he saw something a bit disconcerting. He hoped he wasn't unconscious, since that was the only time he saw these things. It was him, or someone who looked just like him, kneeling on the ground, holding himself up with a sword.

He looked banged up, though it didn't seem like he was going to give up. He had seen it many times before. He couldn't allow himself to be stuck here when he could be helping someone. However, he felt something deep within himself had woken up. Like a fire had been lit. He looked down and noticed his pendant, the mirror face was beginning to shine.

It grew brighter and brighter, as he felt everything begin to click into place. He could feel himself growing stronger, like something had awoken after so long. A familiar image popped into his head. The hammer of a gun fired off, causing him to feel even more power, in fact, this wasn't yoki like he was accustomed to.

It was, but it also wasn't. No, it was magical energy. The two forces exploded out of his body, before he decided to mix the two together. When he opened his eyes, he looked down at himself and saw the familiar magic circuits lining his body. However, unlike his dreams, they were colored gold reminding him of the sun.

He stood up from his previous position, looking down at his hands and gripping them. "This feels familiar, yet, it also feels like more." He hummed to himself, before looking back towards the location he was hit from, seeing Saizou standing there in a cold sweat, despite his size advantage. "I suggest you leave and never bother us again, I'd rather not resort to violence if I don't have to."

Saizou flinched for a moment, before he began to war with himself in his mind. Shirou turned and looked towards Moka and Tsukune, seeing that they were both unharmed. 'That's good, I made it in time.' Though, he was a bit puzzled by their expressions. 'Sure my magic circuits may look odd, but it shouldn't be that weird.'

There were still mages around, even if their numbers were limited as compared to what he remembered. Then again, he supposed that Moka may have never seen one and Tsukune definitely didn't see one. "Don't mess with me! You think you can scare me with those eyes and those..." Shirou raised a brow, not understanding what he was talking about, but Saizou stopped and let out a growl.

"True form or not, I'm going to beat you into the ground!" Saizou then charged forward, causing Shirou to let out a sigh. He still remembered the words and the processes.

"Trace on." The effects were immediate, with arcs of magical energy generated from his hand, before the wooden sword Irisviel gave him appeared. Saizou's fist then appeared and bore down on him, however, Shirou only blocked the attack, easily standing his ground. Saizou's eyes widened, as he realized his mistake.

"Your reign of terror ends here, monster." He spoke calmly, before guiding his fist into the ground and jumping into the air and delivering a full power strike to his head. To Shirou's surprise, the monster was sent flying off much like he did earlier, landing a fair distance away. He then reached into his pocket and grabbed a paper talisman.

He then threw the talisman, aiming for Saizou, before turning back towards his friends. He allowed his magic circuits to deactivate, noticing that they returned to their normal blue color just before fading completely. Though, he could feel a large amount of yoki still around him, which concerned him. To his surprise, he saw Moka and Tsukune standing besides Mizore, who had a happy smile on her face.

He raised a brow, before sighing. "Sorry if I scared you guys, but I panicked there at the end since I was trying to save you guys." He said while rubbing the back of his head with a nervous smile.

However, he noticed Tsukune looking at him like he was an alien or something, though he noticed his eyes were focused a little above him. Moka's face brightened considerably, before she quickly ran up to him. "Oh, wow! That's why your blood was so warm and fuzzy, you're a kitsune! Or would it be a yoko?" Shirou's eyes widened for a moment.

"What are you talking about? I'm just a human mage." He corrected her, before she looked at him like he was dumb.

"I'm not that gullible, Shirou. Besides, I can see your ears and tails." She said, before Mizore appeared next to him, pushing herself close to him, being sure to be in-between Moka and himself. She looked up and nodded.

"You should probably change back, the teachers will get mad if they see it." She said, before leaning her head on his shoulder. Shirou panicked a bit, before grabbing his pendant and using it to look at himself. To his shock, he did have two fox ears and three tails. His ears seemed solid enough, but his tails looked to made out of some type of energy, rather, all but one did.

'What the heck is going on?!'

Nine giant tails flowed back and forth in amusement. A woman smiled as she looked into a mirror. She brushed her pink hair aside. "Three tails with the first seal broken? Oh, but that's to be expected, isn't it? That mage and those vampires did good in raising you, but it's time for you embrace who you really are."

"You'll be the wildcard in all this, my son. Will you be the reason coexistence is achieved? Or will you choose to keep the walls standing tall and firm? I can't wait to see how much you have grown." She said, before laying back down and sending her mirror away. "My little sun, I hope you continue to burn bright, for both monsters and humanity's sake."

Done. I did this because I wanted to release a little special something for Christmas, but Christmas kind of delayed that. Anyways, I saw that there were no Rosario+Vampire/Fate crossovers that were current. By that, I mean the last one I saw on this sight was like 2014. I really liked that manga, when it really got going, and I saw something that reminded me of it so I decided to make this. I decided to go with a reincarnated Shirou that doesn't quite remember his previous life, because of reasons that have to do with why he didn't know he was a monster in the first place. I also wanted to make a Non-human Shirou. But I also wanted to try and make the crossover be a little more action oriented and for a decent story to take place that has some elements of Fate in it. Like mages and stuff like that, but also to balance some things power level wise.

Let's be honest, if Shirou just went into that universe he's probably have no issue until the end game, and even then, he'd still come out on top with reinforcement and his NPs. I also wanted to put a different spin on things, like with the Einzbern's. If you all like this, I'll do more with it and add a lot more fun things in it. I had a lot of fun with it, especially since I was able to make a story where my favorite Rosario girl is a main character, because I love Mizore so much, she's so cool and funny.

I wanted to do other stories too, like an Arknights mini-story, Azur Lane with Shirou and Drake or someone like that, even Nikke. Though, I also wanted to some other crossovers that explore Shirou finding family from before the fire. Quintessential Quintuplets, Kanon, heck I wanted to do one with SHY and heroes. There were a few others. There was also the Rising of the Shield Hero cross idea I had, or a separate MHA cross I may release since it's a oneshot I was working on for Alex Kellar. So many ideas that just bug me until I write them. Those ideas get stuck which makes me unable to write the other stories, which sucks. However, because I've had these ideas, my creativeness is overflowing so hopefully I'll be able to get more chapters out quickly. The more recent ones for sure. We'll see. It depends on how engrossed I am. Like Lost Hero of Chaldea, sometimes I just want to sit down and pump out three chapters in a row, but then I'm like, naw I have to do these other ones. It's kind of funny sometimes.

Anyways, rant over. Thanks for reading, I appreciate that everyone takes the time to read what I write. I hope you all enjoyed, since I do this to entertain everyone and hopefully inspire others to make their own stories. Thanks for all the reviews and feedback, that really helps and means a lot. Feel free to ask me questions, I usually answer my reviews and messages. Once again, I hope you all enjoyed this story and, as always, until next time.
