During Lucy's party where she got her reward, she passed out drunk after being a total gremlin to Natsu. Wendy used her powers to take the worst away from Lucy and to keep her from being hungover in the morning.

"There, she will be all the better in the morning. Do you plan to tell her soon, Natsu?"

Her fellow Dragon Slayer, the closest thing she had to a brother, looked out over the party. She wanted to tell him how she felt, offer to be his little sister. After what happened a year ago to his older brother, Zeref, maybe he would be too worried about hurting her to accept. Both of them had lost everything at one time and found family with Fairy Tail. She would be satisfied with that for now.

"Not just yet," he confessed. "Not until she gets Aquarius' key back. Wendy, I got permission to do the 100-year Quest. I was going to ask Lucy to come with me. Would you and Carla like to come as well?"

Wendy smiled. Yes, the 100-Year Quest was bound to be dangerous, but with her friends at her side, she knew they could conquer any challenge.

"Sure, Natsu. See you tomorrow morning then?"

He nodded. "Perfect time to depart."

She wandered off. If she was leaving soon, she wanted to see Sherria and tell her the news.

Fairy-Tail*

Erza was trying to coax Jellal to dance with her when Natsu approached.

"Hey, Erza…." He started. She cut him off with a glare.

"Of course, I am coming tomorrow. I would not miss the 100-Year Quest for the World. I had been considering going myself for some time, but I would rather go with the team we have made."

Natsu grinned and held out his hand. "Oh yeah, I'm fired up now."

Erza bumped fists with him. "We leave in the morning, I assume? That will leave me just enough time to pack my supplies."

Natsu grinned and walked away. Two of three down.

Fairy-Tail*

Grey was sipping punch when Natsu approached. He groaned. "Looking for a fight, firebrand?"

Natsu shook his head, more serious than Gray had seen him since the war. "Nah, not tonight. Lucy would never let me hear the end of it."

Grey coughed. "You should tell her soon, man."

Natsu waved his hand. "I will. But I want to help reunite her and Aquarius first. That and the 100-Year Quest might just be the place to start looking."

Grey raised an eyebrow. "Well, if you're going on something so important, I can't let you go without me. After all, you might tarnish the guild's name if I left you unsupervised."

"I'll have Erza with me." Natsu huffed.

"Yeah and remember when you got that job to stop her gambling?"

"Oh, right. Well, I was going to invite you along anyway. Because you're strong, not because I like looking at your stupid face or anything."

Juvia laughed from beside them. "It's nice to see you too getting along better. But Juvia will miss her Grey-Sama while he is gone. So complete the 100 Year Quest and come back to Juvia quickly, darling!"

Grey sighed. "I bet you get heartsick in the first five minutes but alright. Count me in, Natsu."

He and Natsu bumped fists. Fire and Ice would never mix properly, but perhaps they could co-exist.

Fairy-Tail*

Wendy giggled as she heard the ruckus coming from Lucy's house. They were all waiting for Natsu and Lucy to join them.

"Did you say your goodbyes, Wendy?" Erza asked. "We don't know how long we will be gone or if we will ever return."

Wendy nodded. "Yep. Everyone has faith in us that we won't just come back but we will complete the job."

Grey, Carla, and Erza all nodded. The door opened and Natsu emerged, carrying Lucy with Happy beside him.

"Alright, let's get going! On the 100 Year Quest!" Natsu called.

They all cheered as they headed out of Magnolia and off to their next great adventure.
