Collector Wants to Play Tag With Sahara

In a cave within the Sahara Desert, it was looking pretty grim for a group of individuals. At the back of the cave, underneath a light that came from an opening above, Ajar the purple Cobra, Eve the Green Snake, her brother Greg and Pit the Scorpion were all gathered together. They had come together to stop an evil snake charmer from carrying out his sinister plans. But during the fight, the man had undergone a gruesome transformation and became a demon. The group of smaller animals were panting after such a battle with the transformed man. The demon man stood on his back legs and raised his right hand into the air and it turned into a long green scythe appendage. With a growl he threw the appendage at the group. The group braced themselves by closing their eyes and Ajar standing in front of Eve to try and shield her. But the appendage was stopped short with a small clink before it could touch any of them. When he didn't feel anything, Ajar opened his eyes and became surprised when he saw a new being standing between them and the demon man. The being held one of the demonic man's scythe between his finger and thumb of his left hand.

(Cue Collector's Theme)

The new being looked like a human child, his face was clashing with colors of white and blue as were his robes and the hat on his head. His eyes were yellow with red irises. The child-like being had a smile on his tilted head as he looked down and asked the surprised group, "What'cha playin?"

None of them knew what to say to do as they looked between the child-like being and the demonic snake charmer. The demonic snake charmer seemed to grow afraid of the new being and took a step back while his claw remained in the child's grasp and said with surprise, "Collector?"

The Collector's smile immediately dropped at the sound of the demon snake charmer's voice and he twisted himself to where he could fully see the transformed man. The demon snake charmer tried to make it sound as if he were the Collector's friend by saying, "You're fee.

"Just as promised." He nervously added, hoping that the child-like being wasn't upset with him from earlier. But the Collector didn't to see the bear as he repeated the last two words, "As promised?

"I remember someone throwing me off a bridge." The Collector said as he lifted his head and thought about recent events. But his mood quickly changed again when he perked up and his smile returned when he said, "I'm not angry though.

"Say, you wanna play tag?" He asked the demonic snake charmer as he lowered the claw in his grip before loosing his hold a little. Then with a twirl of his index finger, the Collector magically pulled the transformed man forward to where he was now face to face with the child-like being. The demon man seemed greatly afraid when the Collector said with a grin and raising his hand, "I'm it."

He flicked his finger forward and in turn it sent the demon snake charmer flying across the cave. The nightmarish being that was once a man harshly slammed into the top of the opening on the other side of the cave and had turned into a large puddle of mush in the process. Bits and pieces of the mush fell to the ground with squelching sounds. From behind the Collector, all the animal friends were greatly horrified by what they had just witnessed as they looked with wide eyes and Pit covered his mouth with his claw. But the Collector didn't seem too upset about it as he placed a hand up to his mouth and laughed, "Too slow!"
