Author's Note: In this alternate version of 'Pac-Man and The Ghostly Adventure' Series, this will feature a new character who has come into Pac-Man's life.

Pac World, was a peaceful planet until the Ghost Wars of the lost century.
When Commander Betrayus, that a revolte against the nation.
-Cut to the Present Time-
But the Ghost Wars was over centuries ago and now Pac World has became a peaceful planet again ever since.
The cititzens of the Pac World's city called 'Pacopolis' are minding their own business while some are hanging out with their friends or families.
But there's one new citizen who has just been moved into Pacopolis, the scene changes to reveal a female anthromorphic black jackal (who resembles the Eyptian God Anubis). And she is a priestess at a faraway temple located in a faraway place called the 'Mirage Oasis'.
The jackal's name is Patra and she just recently entered Pacopolis because she wants to explore the world rather than being a high priest like her father back home, by now Patra has adapted so well to the Modern City of Pacopolis where it's full of buildings and cars and others powered by technology.
Patra has no friends but she always goes to boarding school which is called 'Maze High School'.
Patra is very kind and polite, refusing to introduce herself sometimes. She hates people mocking her but she's very sociable.
Patra is seen walking through one of the busy streets of Pacopolis, wearing her usual oufit she wear back in her home at Mirage Oasis.
The female jackal is walking and passing some of the cititzens of Pac World as she kept a kind smile on her face.
Some of the citizens gave her a friendly wave in which she waves back to them, Patra then hops into one of the Pacopolis Transport Tubes and soon she arrived at the Maze High School.
"Whew, made it." Patra said in relief and she entered the building.
Once inside, some of the students there are going to their respective classes.
Patra then head towards her History Class which was lead by the class teacher named Ms. Globular, upon entering she saw the rest of her class already there with Ms. Globular getting ready for the History Lesson to start.
"Hmm, always on time Patra?" Ms. Globular asked.
"Yes Ms. Globular. Have to use the Transport Tubes to get here." Patra answered.
"Alright then, take you seat." Ms. Globular smiled.
Patra nodded and she took her seat in the back, but when she looks to her left she saw a yellow Pac-Worlder who is eating a small canister of berries.
"Who's that?" Patra asked in thought.
Soon Ms. Globular starts the History Lesson as Patra and the rest of her class are learning about the Ghost Wars that happened centuries ago.
As the lesson went on, some of the students are starting to become board while others just listen.
That was until Patra felt her phone ringing, "Huh?" She asked.
The female jackal takes out her phone and quickly shuts it off, Ms. Globular and the rest of the class are staring at her.
"Patra did someone called you?" Ms. Globular asked.
"Yes Ms. Globular. And according to this number I think I might know who did it." Patra said.
She then looks over at one of the tables and see the school bully, Skeebo who has his wrist-watch on.
"Skeebo how many times do I have to tell you that I'm not interested in you." Patra said which caused the entire class to stiffle their laughter as Skeebo blushed, knowing his plan was busted.
"Mr, Skeebo. Please stop doing this to Patra and focus more on the Ghost Wars and a little less on your love line." Ms. Globular said.
"Come on Ms. Globular. No one believes in ghosts anymore." Skeebo said.
"I do Skeebo." Patra interrupted. "Back in my home, I always see ghosts in the temple."
"Hah! Oh really, after all you're priestess 'CleoPatra'! Hahahaha!" Skeebo laughed.
Patra gasp before she fumed in anger and she stomp towards Skeebo and gave the bully a hard slap on the cheek before returning to her table.
"OW!" Skeebo screamed.
"It serves you right Mr. Skeebo. Never insult you classmates like that!" Ms. Globular scolded.
"Show of hands, how many of you believe in ghosts besides Patra?" Ms. Globular asked the class.
"No one?" Ms. Globular asked, noticing that none of the students answered until one of them raised his hand.
"Ah, one student believes." Ms. Globular smiled.
"Paccy!" The students laughed and it was revealed to Patra that the yellow Pac-Worlder is none other than Pac-Man!
"Um, Ms. Globular, who is that?" Patra asked the teacher while pointing at the yellow one.
"Oh, I forgot you just got here Patra." Ms. Globular said. "The yellow student there, his name is Pac-Man and he's the new studdent of our class."
Patra understood and she look at Pac-Man, she couldn't help but looking at the yellow one has made her heart beating a bit faster.
"What is going on with me? Am I in love with Pac-Man!?" Patra asked in thought, realizing she has developed a crush on the yellow orb.
"Huh. He's not a student. He's an overgrown lemon!" Skeebo taunted.
The class laughed at what Skeebo just said but that proved to be a mistake as Patra went over to the bully again, but this time she gave Skeebo a hard slap on cheek with her tail.
"OW! That hurts!" Skeebo shouted.
"Don't you dare insult another classmaten Skeebo! Just because you're popular here in school doesn't mean you can just bully or insult anyone around you!" Patra shouted angrily which caused Skeebo to keep his mouth shut.
Ms. Globular and the rest of the class look at the female jackal in amazement, they never seen Patra being so protective for others.
"Alright then, Pac, on what do you based on your beliefs?" Ms. Globular asked.
"I've read up on ghosts." Pac said as he placed some books on his table. "The ones from the Nether Realm, they're dangerous and they hate us. They creep up on you and take you by surprise."
"BOOGA BOOGA!" Skeebo shouted.
"AH!" Pac screamed and he jumped high into the air in fright.
"You mean like that?" Skeebo asked.
The students laughed at Skeebo pranking Pac-Man like that but the bully was soon met by a powerful slap followed by a loud voice.
"SKEEBO!" Patra scolded.
Skeebo was soon face-to-face with the angry female jackal who was giving him an angry glare, the bully gulped in fright and the students stopped laughing and cowered in fear as Patra gave Skeebo a painful slapped across tha face over and over again.
"Say one more insult, or I will give you a piece of mind." Patra warned and Skeebo nodded his head in reply.
Ms. Globular was stunned by how Patra gave Skeebo a harsh scolding and defended she was for Pac-Man.
Patra then looks at Pac-Man who was clinging onto one of the overhead lamps, "Here Pac-Man, let me help you get down." She said and jumps into the air.
The female jackal manages to gently grab Pac-Man and brought him safely to the floor, "Are you alright?" Patra asked.
"I'm fine, thank you." Pac-Man answered.
"Nice to meet you for the very first time, Pac-Man. I'm Patra." The female jackal introudced herself.
"Nice to meet you, Patra. I'm Pac-Man and it's nice to meet you too." Pac-Man replied.
Patra and Pac-Man both couldn't help but have deep blushes on their faces, just then the school bell rang and it's time for lunch.
"Oh, it's lunchtime." Patra said before looking at Pac-Man. "You want to join me at lunch Pac?" She asked.
Pac was surprised by this and said, "Sure thing, Patra. Let's go."
Soon everyone in the classroom all left for the lunch room as Pac and Patra followed them from behind, the students all got their lunches including Patra and Pac.
The two of them sat together at a table and eat; as they were eating, Patra then tells Pac-Man all about herself.
Needless to say; Pac was amazed to learn about Patra being a priestess in Mirage Oasis and he too tells Patra all about himself as well.
Both Patra and Pac got to know each other quite well and they became friends, but deep down in their hearts they feel like they're more than just friends.
"Hey dweebs." Came Skeebo's voice.
The two friends turned and saw Skeebo in front of them, "Why don't you and sit with me Patra instead of this lemon ball loser?" Skeebo quipped.
"No way Skeebo, I'd rather hang out with Pac-Man than you. You're nothing but a bully." Patra answered crossly.
"Heh. Yeah right, that lemon loser is so lame." Skeebo snorted until Pac started to feel queasy.
"Uh-oh, Patra take cover." Pac warned and the female jackal gaso and took cover as Pac burped so loudly which instantly sent Skeebo flying into the air.
"Woah!" Skeebo screamed before he landed on an ice cream machine and got covered in chocolate ice cream.
"Oh, that smarts." Spiral said, noticing Skeebo's current state.
"Yeah; a good look for you Skeebo." Cylindria added.
The students in the lunch room all laughed at Skeebo's misfortune as the said bully got up and glared at Patra and Pac.
"Uh-oh, Pac, we gotta run." Patra gulped.
"Agree! Here take this berry!" Pac said while handing a purple berry to the female jackal who ate it.
Patra felt herslef getting a boost of energy as well as Pac who also ate the same berry, "We gotta run! Later Skeebo!" Patrao shouted and soon she and Pac ran out if the lunch room with Skeebo chasing after them.
The two friends ran down the school hallway as Skeebo was hot on their tail, that was until Pac saw an open window and both he and Patra jumped through it and made their way outside as Skeebo continues to chase after them.
They past through the tennis court and Skeebo got hit by a tennis ball along the way, both Patra and Pac kept on running but unaware that they entered the dangerous Maze 256.
Skeebo stopped and realized that the two had entered the Maze 256 and he has an idea.
Night soon rolled in as Patra and Pac both managed to get themselves lost inside the maze.
"It looks like we're lost Pac." Patra said.
"Looks like we are Patra." Pac answered nervously.
"Don't worry, I know how to get us out of here." Patra said. "Get on my back."
Pac just follows what Patra said and soon he got onto the female jackal's back, "Now hang on. Whee!" Patra said and soon she begins to jump onto the maze's hedges.
"Wow! I didn't know you were a great jumper Patra!" Pac said in amazed.
"Actually I am, Pac. I love to jump." Patra replied and soon both friends began to head back to the entrance of the maze.
Along the way; Pac noticed something. "Hey, what's that?" He asked while pointing down.
Patra looks down and saw a bunch of warning signs telling anyone to not enter, "Huh, I never seen those before." She answered.
"She would we take a look?" Pac asked.
"Hmm, well, I'm not sure Pac but let's see where it leads." Patra replied.
Patra landed in front of the warning signs and both she and Pac entered what appears to be unknown section part of the maze, as they were walking slowly however, they tripped on some stones and soon the two friends began to roll down further into the dark passageway.
"AHHHHH!" Both Patra and Pac screamed as they continued to fall down through the long dark tunnel and hitting more signs along the way.
They soon reached at what appeares to be small chamber as Patra landed on her tail with a loud, "Ow!" While Pac sped past her in his Ball Form and hits a wall along with pulling down what appears to be a lever.
Pac landed next to Patra in his Normal Form until he and the female jackal look ahead and saw the symbol of a ghost, then all of a sudden a trapdoor opened up from underneath them.
"AHHHHH!" Both Patra and Pac screamed once more as they slid down the slide until they eventually arrived in a bigger chamber with a huge door at the end.
"Ow. That really hurts." Patra groaned as she and Pac got and turned around, trying to find their way back.
Suddenly, a glow can be seen from behind and the two friends slowly turned and saw ghosts!
Patra and Pac ran for their lives as they ran out of the big chamber and through the dark passageway and finally returned to the maze.
Both Patra and Pac continued running until they eventually bumped into Spiral and Cylindria, who were both looking for the two.
"Woah! Patra, Pac, are you two alright?" Spiral asked.
"Yeah Spiral; we're fine." Pac panted.
"We have to run away because we've accidentally stumbled upon the doorway to the Nether World." Patra added.
"The Nether World?" Cylindria asked.
"Wait; isn't that the place where all the ghosts of Commander Betrayus's army and himself were sentenced to?" Spiral added.
"BOO!" Came a familair voice.
Both Patra and Pac turned and saw three ghosts in white sheets, "Seriously Skeebo?" Patra asked, dumbfounded.
"That old bedsheet trick is only for kids." Spiral added.
Pac thought he was going to scream but after hearing that it Skeebo and his buddies, he just stayed silent.
"Aw, come on! How'd you guess it was me?" Skeebo demanded as he and his two buddies took off their disguises.
"Only for a brain that has the size of pea is dumb enough to think it was to fool anyone." Patra answered as Pac, Spiral, and Cylindria stiffled their laughter.
"Also we should probably run." Pac interrupted.
"Why is that, Pacster?" Spiral asked.
"You might all want to look up." Patra said and all of them looked up, and they saw the spectral ghouls of the Nether World flying over them as they head towards Pacopolis.
In Pacopolis; the whole city is in chaos as the ghosts began to spook the citizens.
Patra, Pac, Spiral, and Cylindria head back to their school for protection while Skeebo and his buddies ran for their lives.
"This is really bad." Pac said.
"Really bad, Pac. Really bad." Patra added.
"We have to think of something." Pac suggested.
"Yeah, but what?" Patra replied.
"Surrenduring would be nice." Came another voice.
"W-Who said that?" Patra gulped.
Just then a small red ghost entered through the window, "Ghost!" Pac screamed as he and Patra ran for the door but was soon blocked off by three more ghosts. One is pink, the second one is orange and the third blue.
"Heh, these ones had been readin' up on ghosts." Said the red ghost who was holding a book.
"Good, so they know what's gonna happen to them." The blue ghost added.
"Grr, that does it then. Take this!" Patra shouted and she immediately conjured a ball of energy and launch it at the ghosts.
The ball hit the ghosts upon impacylt and sent them flying backwards, "Come on Pac! This way!" Patra shouted and she and Pac exited the room.
The ghosts recovered from the attack and they chased after them down the hallway, Pac then opens up a Janitor Closet and he and Patra entered the room that still has a functioning light.
When the ghosts got closer; they finally see both Patra and Pac in the light, their faces turned pale.
"The yellow one and the prietess!" The ghosts screamed and they all entered both Patra and Pac in their mouths.
Meanwhile; up on the roof were Cylindria and Skeebo as the two watched the ghost invasion from down below.
Suddenly, a Cyclop Ghost appear right in front of door.
"AHHHHHH!" Skeebo screamed. "AHHHHHH! HAHAHA! AH!"
Then Skeebo runs off like a chicken leaving Cylindria behind as the Cyclop Ghost grabbed her.
"Skeebo! Help!" Cylindria screamed to her supposedly so-called boyfriend. "My hero." She groaned as Skeebo kept on running.
As soon as Skeebo was about to leave, Spiral stopped him.
"Skeebo! It's got Cylindria! You got to save her!" Spiral shouted.
"Are you out of your mind?!" Skeebo retorted.
"But she's your study girlfriend!" Spiral said.
Skeebo removed his ring and threw it away and said, "We just broke up." Until he continued screaming in fright like a coward.
The Cyclop Ghost was about to eat Cylindria when a powerful blue ball of electricity struck it right in the eye, causing the big ghost to scream in pain as it let go of Cylindria.
"HELP!" Cylindria screamed until she was enveloped by a blue aura.
Cylindria finds herself floated back onto the roof as the aura disappeared as soon as Cylindria got onto solid ground.
The Cyclop Ghost turned to whoever shot the attack at him.
"Please, in the name of Pacmanity!" Came Pac's voice.
The Cyclop Ghost looked down and saw Patra and Pac standing before him.
"We don't want any trouble! Just leave us in peace please!" Patra added.
The Cyclop Ghost got a good look at them and went wide-eyed, until it screamed in a howling voice before it flew away.
Then some more ghosts appeared right behind them as Patra and Pac both turned around and faced them, once the ghosts saw them, they all quickly turned into small and blue ghosts and flew off.
"Patra! Pac! Are you both okay?!" Spiral asked in concerned.
"Not exactly." Pac answered before he and Patra both burped out two sets of ghost eyeballs each.
The eyeballs floated into the air and when they saw Patra and Pac, they screamed. "The yellow one and the priestess!"
"Must have been something we ate." Patra said before she and Pac suddenly fainted.
"Patra! Pacster!" Spiral screamed as he and Cylindria went over to help them.
Later on, both Patra and Pac recovered and are now in their dorm room as Patra comfort Pac-Man.
"Pac, I, there's something I wanted to tell you." Patra spoke in a concerned voice.
"What is it, Patra?" Pac asked.
"You see Pac, ever since when we just first met, remember how I was offended when Skeebo insulted you?" Patra asked.
"Yeah, I remember that." Pac replied, still remembered when Patra defended him after Skeebo threw insults at him.
"Why'd you ask?" Pac asked.
"You see Pac, to tell you the truth, I'm in love with you." Patra answered, which caused Pac-Man to go wide-eyed in surprise.
"You mean, you're in love with me Patra?" Pac asked and the female jackal nodded in reply.
"Yes Pac, I'm in love with you ever since we've just first met." Patra said as she and Pac held each other's hands. "I-I love you, Pac. Deep in my heart."
Pac couldn't believe what he just heard, Patra, the priestess of Mirage Oasis is actually in love with him.
"Patra," Pac began. "I-I kinda fell in love with you the same way you fell in love with me." He said.
Patra gasp and asked, "R-Really Pac? You're in love with me?"
Pac nodded in reply until he and Patra got closer and soon they both shared a kiss, proving that it was official. Both Patra and Pac are boyfriend and girlfriend.
"Awwwww!" Came both Spiral and Cylindria's voices.
Both Patra and Pac stopped on what they were doing and turned and saw both Spiral and Cylindria who both had seen the whole thing.
"Way to go, Pacster." Spiral said.
"You and Patra are really a cute couple." Cylindria added.
Patra and Pac both blushed bright red as they giggled sheepishly in respond.
"So Pac, what are we gping to do about the ghost invasion?" Patra asked her boyfriend.
"Well, there was the secret passgeway we discovered that is connected to the Nether World and Pac World. We need to alert the authorities, S.T.AT!" Pac answered.
Suddenly; three bodyguards burst into the dorm room.
"That's enough for you two?" Spiral asked.
"That'll do." Patra replied as the bodyguards surrounded them.
The group are soon being escorted inside a limo as the three bodyguards are bringing them somewhere.
"We didn't do it on purpose." Pac said, trying to reason with the bodyguards.
"We stumbled into the door and it opened." Patra added. "It was a mistake."
"That's right! A-A mistake! S-So why don't you take us home and we'll forget the whole thing!" Cylindria said.
But the two bodyguards juts stayed silent.
"I guess that would be a no." Pac said.
"Ya think?" Spiral asked.
"What I think is that we're in big trouble!" Patra replied.
"Don't worry Patra, Pac. We're behind you two all the way, no matter what." Cylindria said.
But when they reached their destination which the Roundhouse; the two bodyguards escorted both Spiral and Cylindria into a prison cell, while the third bodyguard brings Patra and Pac to an office with a small berry tree in his hand.
When Patra and Pac entered the office, the two soon meet none other than President Spheros.
"President Spheros?" Both Patra and Pac asked in shock upon seeing the president for the first time.
"Thanks for coming you two." President Spheros spoke.
"It's an honor to meet you, sir." Patra spoke. "But why are we here and what have you do with our friends?" She asked.
"No need to worry about your friends." President Spheros replied as he walked towards them. "Come over here, I want to show something you two."
He then showed both Patra and Pac an old scroll.
"This is the 'Paclaration of Independence'. Written centuries ago."
"Wow! This must be the original." Patra gasp.
"Indeed Patra, none other." President Spheros replied.
"It says here." He cleard his throat and began to read.
"One day two teens
Will roll onto the scene
This Yellow One and The Priestess
A courages son followed by a princess,
Will both hold the key
To our destinies"
"And that Yellow One and Priestess, are you two." He finished.
Patra and Pac were shocked after hearing this as Pac asked, "Me and Patra?"
President Spheros nodded.
"Woah; I never thought we are Chosen Ones who are protectors of our civilization which depended on us." Patra said.
"Never the less, it's true." President Spheros replied.
"Then we are in deep trouble." Pac said.
President Spheros then offers both Patra and Pac to take a seat as the president puts the small berry tree down on the table.
"Tell me about this pant of yours." President Spheros said to Pac.
"It's from my parents. It's the only thing they left me when they-." Pac sigh deeply. "I didn't know them very well."
Patra then comforts her boyfriend as the female jackal gave the Yellow One a hug, and Pac returned the hug gently.
"I did." President Spheros spoke.
"You did? You knew my Mon and Dad?" Pac asked in surprised.
President Spheros walked over to his desk and showed Patra and Pac a picture of his younger self along with Pac's parents.
"Woah."
"Wow."
Both Patra and Pac said in amazement by the photo.
President Spheros then explained to them that Pac's parents left Pac a legacy far beyond Pac's fruit plant; they were the last of their kind (with Pac being their next generation) and they ruled the Pac World civilization for centuries, spreading peace and brotherhood.
But then one day, Commander Betrayus lead a violent revolt which devastated the planet.
Ultimately; Betrayus and his forces were defeated.
Along with his minions, he was stripped of his corporel body and the spirits were all sentenced to the Nether Realm for eternity.
"But now, the ghosts had broke free." President Spheros finished.
"Thanks to us." Pac lamented as he and Patra both guilty for letting the ghosts out.
"Get over it." President Spheros interjected.
"But how are we going to stand a chance against the ghosts, sir?" Patra asked.
"Come with me you two, there's something else I wnated to show you." President Spheros replied as he lead the two into a special hidden room.
There they saw a tree that looks just like Pac's berry tree, only it's huge and covered with different berries.
"Hey, it's the Tree of Life. I've heard stories about it back in my home in the Mirage Oasis." Patra spoke, which got President Spheros attention.
"Ah, so you've heard about it from your father Patra?" He asked.
"How do you know about my father?" Patra asked in surprise.
"Your father was an old friend of mine, and he heard countless tales about it." President Spheros answered.
"And what are those berries?" Pac asked, pointing at the colorful berries on the tree.
"Those must be the Tree of Life's Power Berries; and I heard that if the Tree of Life would fall into the wrong hands, the whole of Pac World would perished." Patra answered.
"You are quite right my dear." President Spheros said.
Just then, Spiral and Cylindria arrived and they too saw the Tree of Life.
Patra and Pac both gave their friends the details and history about it, needless to say they were amazed.
Suddenly, an alarm rang.
"Uh-oh, that means ghosts are coming!" Patra exclaimed as the bodyguards escort President Spheros to safety.
The ghosts arrived and begin to attack the tree, Patra and Pac then tells Spiral and Cylindria to go and protect the president while they protect the tree.
"Right!"
"Gotcha!"
Spiral and Cylindria both left to protect the president as Patra and Pac look at the ghosts.
"Ready Pac?" Patra asked.
"Ready Patra." Pac answered.
"Let's go!" Patra shouted and she and Pac got onto the Tree of Life and both of them ate a berry.
Soon both Patra and Pac are now flying and they began to eat up the ghosts, "Alright!" Patra shouted as she continued chomping the ghosts with Pac.
Then a Fire Ghost appeared but Patra saw it and managed to snag an Ice Berry and gobbled it, soon her fur turned blue as well as her tail.
"Ice Blast!" Patra shouted as she fired a powerful blast of ice at the Fire Ghost, freezing it.
Patra then eats up the frozen Fire Ghost and burped out it's eyeballs along with the other ghost eyeballs from the ghosts she gobbled up earlier.
Just then, both Patra and Pac regrouped until they saw four familiar ghosts.
"Hey! We know you guys!" Pac exclaimed as he and Patra began to pursue them.
"Uh-Oh!" The four ghosts screamed and ran as Patra and Pac chased after them.
The four ghosts hid under President Spheros office desk as the female jackal (returned to normal after Ice Berry effects wore off) and Yellow One both look at them.
The four ghosts prayed for mercy as Patra and Pac both started to interrogating with them, in exchange for helping them of course.
The four ghosts were reluctant at first; but soon had to agree with it.
Patra, Pac and the others regrouped and saw the ghosts were gone, Pac thought they had won but then came bad news.
"The Tree of Life is gone!" Shouted one of the bodyguards as Patra and Pac along with their friends look outside and saw the ghosts taking the Tree of Life.
"It's over, we lost." Patra spoke.
Then the group received a transmission from none other than Betrayus himself; declaring that he and his ghost army won the battle.
But Patra and Pac knew there's worst to come.
