It is a bustling night in Inazuma City. Everyone were having fun with food and clothing stalls, games, and even lighting up fireworks all around for an annual festival going around for fun.

But there are two people especially looking forward to this kind of fun off in the distance.

"It's lovely, isn't it?" Aether, the well-known hero of Teyvat, asked.

Laying next to him was none other than the fireworks loving girl of Naganohara Fireworks, Yoimiya, who giggled in response.

The two were at their own spot to enjoy the soon-to-be scenery at the cliff of Amakane Island; the very island they and Paimon went to the first time to celebrate fireworks during the Traveler's first time in Inazuma during both the Vision Hunt and Sakoku Decree(s), and eventually became a regular spot away from crowds and enjoy their own scenery.

"Yeah. I really pulled all the stops this time." Yoimiya explained.

"Shame Paimon couldn't come. She would've love this too." Aether said, sarcastically.

"I can tell sarcasm in your voice." Yoimiya teased, which Aether wouldn't argue with.

Yoimiya has been one of Aether's most cherished friends during his time all across Teyvat. She is always a friend to all children, looking out for others and seeing the good in them, and most of all, one of the few people who really wants to help look for his missing twin sister, Lumine. He helped her twice with one helping two friends reconcile in Inazuma and the other in Sumeru where they watched a meteor shower together, even having bridal carried the fireworks girl in the night sky together with his gliders.

Aether was very touched by her kindness and willingness to help, but a part of him didn't want to involve her with whatever goes on in his head, feeling the business with Lumine being leader of the Abyss Order, the true revelations of the Archons including the Raiden Shogun (AKA Ei) and her overall past and having a body double all this time, the prophecy in Fontaine, among many things that he was afraid to tell her. Plus, she has her family and all of Inazuma to be with. Taking her from home just to be with him would be selfish.

He did however, remember that Yoimiya once told him of offering a place in Inazuma to likely live in when his long journey is over. It is still an idea he would consider, if he successfully saves Lumine and find a way to convince her to stay in Teyvat as their permanent home. Something he would think about in the future.

His long train of thought was suddenly interrupted when Yoimiya pinched his cheeks to snap him back into reality.

"The fireworks are about to start!" Yoimiya hollered, pointing to the sky that is soon to be lit.

Fireworks all around Inazuma City were being set off to the night sky, giving off many colors of fireworks in every direction that popped and illuminated.

Everyone from the city to the other islands of Inazuma were watching the spectacle with joy.

Aether and Yoimiya were in total awe.

"They sure are beautiful." Aether and Yoimiya said in unison, unconsciously being far closer than usual. They were blushing hard and tried to pull back.

But in that moment where everything slowed down while the fireworks continued, both Aether and Yoimiya couldn't hold the emotions they had hidden for each other for so long. That moment, their lips connected, feeling like a different kind of fireworks were exploding in their heads.

The kiss lasted for a few seconds before releasing, leaving the two young adults blushing hard. But they seem really happy while fireworks were still going off for a few more moments.

"It was like… a firework." Yoimiya commented, which Aether smirked and petting Yoimiya on the head.

"Most definitely." Aether said.

"I know I can't be with you on your journey, but if you ever need help… just give a call." Yoimiya explained.

Aether smiled. "I promise."

Aether and Yoimiya's hands on the ground slowly connected as the two dove in for another kiss, all the while the fireworks were starting to die down in the night sky.

A loud burp came from the Kamisato Estate as Paimon was laying on the ground, her tummy full from all the food she ate alongside a sleeping Ayaka, Thoma and even Sayu and Kirara (who already finished her recent deliveries and was asked by Aether to look after Paimon the best she could), all having their own party during the fireworks display.

I originally had planned to post this on the 4th of July, but really got sidetracked for a long while plus the mobile version of FanFiction was down for a few days to wait, and of course it was a little short, but wanted to make it good the best I can. Anyway, I really liked Aether and Yoimiya as a pairing due to their similar kindness and willingness to help others. The icing on the cake is Yoimiya's 2 Story Quests that really kicked the ship off, especially her second one in Sumeru.

Now, I have a new announcement to make: I decided to not use Honkai: Star Rail (don't get me wrong, I still like the game despite no longer playing it) and a series with a female protagonist for a sixth story, 'cause that would be too many stories to do. Instead, I'm adding the 2 extra to my two spin-offs Tales of Emblems and Kings and Genshin of the Granblue Skies separately… and they are Soul Eater (from XFangHeartX's version) and one, two, three: POKÉMON (based off the XY anime series and Generation VI)! So, Soul Eater will go to Tales of Emblems and Kings and Pokémon will go to Genshin of the Granblue Skies, so those titles will have to be renamed and the prologues of those stories will have to fixed up. It's fine if no one likes this, but this is a long choice I had to make to save time and avoid too much stress.

One more thing: sometime in the future, I plan to set up an Archive of Our Own account as a backup plan. But like I said, that's a plan in the future.
