Off the coasts of Rhode Island, in a deep part of the vast and overgrown forest a scream could be heard. This scream could be mistaken as the shriek of an eagle or the roar of a lion, but what was making these sounds was neither but a small girl, a girl that had the power to change humanity's fate, or so they say.

Getting up from a small rock, fourteen year old Lindo, a strong and charming young girl set out to get some breakfast. Like every other morning this one was not quite different. Lindo had been dropped off at this cave at the young age of four by a pair of parents that had hated her for what she was, a girl. Her parents had wanted a boy, to help with the farm work and to help there family but Lindo could not do all a boy could do, so they left her in a forest, leaving her to survive.

"Time to get some breakfast!" Lindo says, with a large breath, breathing in the wonderful Rhode Island Air, this was the life. "I will have a wonderful meal today!" She laughs, as she skips along the path that had been formed from her trodding it every day.

Walking down the path Lindo softly hummed to herself, the tunes the birds would sing to her and the songs the crickets would chirp only to run away afterwards leaving her to remember how they went from memory.

"Oh hello Mr fox!" Lindo gasps looking in the direction of a large oak tree, "And hello there little squirrel!" She says, looking up the tree. There were of course no animals anywhere around the tree, as Lindo had gained a massive imagination as a result from being so lonely out in the forest, away from civilization and people.

"Where could my wonderful breakfast be?" She asks herself, rubbing her chin with her hand. Looking all around after getting no answer Lindo decides to climb a tall hickory tree so that she could see all around to find something that could possibly be her meal.

Suddenly gasping to herself a flash of brown flashes under the tree for only a moment before disappearing from view. "Hello?" She softly says, climbing down from the tall tree. Looking around once on the ground, the footprints of a deer could be seen on the ground causing Lindo to jump with joy. Maybe Lindo would get get breakfast after all.

Chasing after the deer prints, Lindo suddenly stops, a print on the ground stops the deer tracks in place, a trail of liquid trailing away along with some strange prints. Looking closer Lindo could recognize them as tiger prints.

"Great-" Lindo mutters, turning back towards her cave. Walking back towards her home, she grabs a stick as she pulls out a piece of stone shaving the wood of the stick until finally Lindo was holding a spear.

Looking up Lindo notices a small clearing off to the side of the path. "That wasn't there before..." She says softly, walking towards the beat path leading to a area where a tree had fallen.

Lindo shakes her head at the tree before hearing a small snap of a twig behind her, causing Lindo to jump. "Who's there?" She asks as she turns around, followed by a scream at what she had just seen.
