As Lindo screamed, the whole forest shook with much action. Birds flew out of the trees, their wings flapping as hard as they could go, leaving the tall trees waving in the air. The mice ran into their holes along with the many other creatures that had been enjoying the weather.
After a moment of screaming, Lindo stops looking closely at what was in front of her, it was a human, just like herself, yet it just stood still, it's eyes in the shape of what could be interpreted as fear or even possibly suprise.
"Who are you, and what business do you have in my forest?" She asks the man, the pang of fear in her voice yet still trying to sound confident. "And why are you standing still?"
Waiting a couple of moments, Lindo walks up to the frozen man, his hair in a mess yet staying still like the rest of him, not even the wind being able to move it. "Your head, it's-" Running her hand over his head, trying to think of the right words. "It's like a stone, not like a normal head."
Sighing, Lindo takes a step back, looking closer at the person, her eyes darting all around it, noticing the grass and branches pushed away and broken as if had just been placed here.
"Anyone else here?" She asks around her, expecting someone to just walk out of the forest and say they did it, but Lindo didn't see many people as this forest was protected because of some dumb birds or something.
Before Lindo could keep yelling for any strange people hiding in the forest, the man's forehead suddenly turned to the side with a small whir, a camera and microphone slowly lifted itself up, looking around in a circle before landing on Lindo.
"What are you?" Lindo yells at the small camera, her eyes shaped in fear, as she had never seen something like this before in her life of being in the forest. "Well?" She asks, as nothing had come from the camera or the microphone.
With a small click, the mini microphone turned a bright shade of red before a voice came out of it. "Well, hello there Lindo, we have been awaiting you." The mysterious voice says, the static growing louder ever second.
"Huh?" Lindo starts to say as the ground suddenly gives away, leaving Lindo to fall downwards, spiraling out of control before landing on a slide, wet and fast. "Help me!" Lindo yells as she starts sliding faster and faster, bright colors start to flash before her eyes as a result of the amount of speed that she was going.
Minuets passed of sliding downwards, sometimes going on the occasional loop or twist, leaving a small bruise on Lindos skin from the sudden impact with the slide. Suddenly a giant sound, like a million trees falling at once could be heard farther down the slide from where Lindo was, causing her to try and grip the sides only to get burned by the metal against her hands resulting in a yelp.
Reaching the sound, Lindo could see that it was a giant piece of machinery, blowing air towards the slide, a beam of light illuminating it in the darkness. As soon as Lindo gets near the fan she starts to slow down, the slide suddenly feeling more dry and scratchy before coming to a stop at the bottom of the slide, with just darkness in front of her.
After a few moments Lindo gets up, nothing around her except darkness until a slight sound of a click could be heard as lights on the ceiling start to turn on revealing a room that stretched for what seemed like miles being shown one light at a time.
"Woah," Lindo says, taking in the surroundings. All over the floor, where desks and chairs overturned as if a bomb or something had gone off, leaving everything in total ruin. A coat of dust could be seen outlining the overturned objects.
All of a sudden, a small circular ball pops out of the wall, and a camera on the side rolls towards one of the desks. Once it reaches the desk, the robot opens two panels on the side of there orb and out comes two hyper extended arms with claws on the end which picks up the piece of furniture and sets it back up as if it had never of been lying down in the first place.
Lindo looks along the wall, multiple doors lining it with one standing out to her, the door having a shiny gold knob, different from all the others with dirty, dusty, silver knobs. Without a word, Lindo starts to walk over to the door before multiple panels open on the other wall with multiple more robot orbs to come out and start to straighten everything up.
With a leap, Lindo runs toward the door away from the robots, quickly opening it and slamming it shut, her breathing staring to get the best of her as she slows down, looking around where she now was.
An office, but not the normal office she had seen in magazines or books that happened to be littered in the forest somehow. This office was huge and proper. The walls were a deep and dark crimson, along with the desk that sat in the middle of the room. While a black carpeted floor was beneath her feet along with black books and a figure sitting at the desk bathed in the darkness as a shadow ran right onto them, leaving there face expressionless.
"Excuse me, if you can actually talk," Lindo says to the figure at the desk, sort of mumbling to herself as she started to mess up her words, as she missed the green forest, her cave, even the animals running around her, playing with her when she was feeling down. "Why am I here?"
The figure leans forward, the light suddenly hitting their black hair, and their green eyes seem to be glowing with an emotion she couldn't quite put her finger on at the moment. "Oh Lindo," the mystery person says, their voice showing off many emotions at once, yet none at all. "We have so much to talk about."
