Through the hallways, Lindo turned, not very sure of where she was heading, only that it was called the lab. After a few minutes of walking, she finds herself in a room that is bustling with activity, men in suits and lab coats running every wich way.

Not sure of where to go from there, Lindo stops one of the taller ones running out of a room, "Excuse me-" She starts before being softly pushed out of the way.

"Lo siento chico, no tengo tiempo para hablar!" The man said, his accent strong as he walked away into the crowd, leaving Lindo with no other choice but to find another way to get to her destination.

Looking up at the signs covering the dark walls with warnings and directions, Lindo realized she couldn't read, leaving her confused and puzzled, only recognizing the signs with little stick people running out doors to be understood.

"Tolli, do you have any ideas where to go?" Lindo asks, her tan skinned hand clutching the small box so as not to lose it in the mass craze of the lab.

The box suddenly lights up. "It's about time, you asked." He replied, an arrow pointing at a larger metal door off to the side. A small plate next to it flashed green. "Just walk in there." Tolli says.

"Alright." Lindo replies before taking a deep breath. Walking torwards the door a small hand suddenly pops out of the wall grabbing Lindo and holding her in place as a red scanner quickly scans her over, Lindo not knowing weather to scream or just let it happen.

"Test Subject 1976, Lindo Confirmed," a voice says from the ceiling, the door making an unlocking sound as steam escaped from the sides as the pressure suddenly changes in that room causing the door to swing open for Lindo on its own. "Please, Enter." The very robotic voice sternly says.

Looking up from a notepad, Doctor J smiles widely, still wearing his blue suit except now with a lab coat over it. "Well, hello Lindo, nice for you to join us." He says, leaning his arm against a ginormous box in the middle of the room. "We have been waiting for you."

"What am I here for?" Lindo asks, her eyes darting all over the room from the wall of medical tools to the multiple pictures on a separate wall. "And what is that big box?"

Doctor J looks torwards the box he's leaning on, "Oh Lindo, we can't reveal all the surprises." He says with a cough, taking his arm back from the monstrous contraption and walking toward her. "Why don't you look at it yourself?" He asks, putting a hand on her back, gently pushing her torwards it.

Lindo shrugs Doctor J's hand away with a frown and walks toward the box, running her hand along it. "It feels like a big can," she states, remembering the cylinders she would find back in the forest that sometimes had beans or corn in them.

"That's true in a sense," Doctor J says, nodding his head in a agreeable way, running his hand over the machine. "It's made with a different metal as a can and has much more inside then a can." He says explaining his contraption as if Lindo was a five year old learning about clouds.

Lindo crosses her arms and puts her feet apart, "So what does this have to do with me?" She asks, fear growing bigger every second she spent with Doctor J, yet she felt a burst of strength and power.

"I'm not going to tell you." Doctor J says with a smile, looking up at the other scientists in the room making a hand gesture, a loud purring sound suddenly coming from the inside of the box.

"You can't just do random things to me." Lindo says, half talking half screaming. "You need to at least tell me what you're going to do." She says, her eyebrows and mouth knitted in a stern frown.

Doctor J chuckles a moment before raising up his hand. "No." He simply replies, making a fist with his hand in which two of the scientists grab Lindos arms. "You'll know soon enough." He says, his eyes looking as if they turned red for a second.

"Your hurting me!" Lindo yells at the two scientists grabbing her arms, as Doctor J walks towards what looks like a control board. To no avail to stop them Lindo stops struggling and looks over to see Polly in the doorframe of the room staring at her with her purple eyes.

Loading Lindo onto what looked like a tray, metallic locks placed where her hands and ankles go suddenly shut and lock, leaving her defenseless. "Help?" Lindo says, not screaming as all of her voice had drained from her, replaced with fear.

With a smile Doctor J pushes a large button on the control panel, causing the tray Lindo is on to slowly make it's way into the box, traveling on the conveyor belt that ran through it. Looking around Lindo could see metal twisting to different parts of the box, her voice not able to make any noise because of the sudden dryness in the air.

Rolling into a small room inside the box multiple tiny arms lined the ceiling, some with syringes and some with what looked like stones. Suddenly coming to a stop the tray that Lindo is laying on suddenly sits still in the middle of the small room, one of the arms coming closer towards her.

"Leave me-" She starts to say before a sudden flash of light appears beside her, a pain started to seep in on her arm. Looking beside her Lindo could see a needle had just stuck her shoulder causing the world to start spinning wildly out of control, the voices of Tolli and Doctor J start floating through her mind before everything blacks out entirely.

"This is just unacceptable." A voice a little farther ahead from Lindo says, there tone growing strongly frustrated. "We can't just, oh wait I'll call you back." The figure says, before a small click is heard. Opening her eyes Lindo can see she is in a car, the dim light of the moon shining in through the car window.

"Where are we going?" Lindo asks, looking around the car, nothing much in the back besides a small tablet with the symbol for dead on the screen. "I fell asleep in the car again."

The dark figure driving sighs, the silhouette of a cap and a pair of glasses could be seen on there head, "Lindo, it's a... suprise." The figure says, there voice sounding a lot like a older man yet the face seemed to be blurred out from Lindos view.

"Will there be balloons?" Lindo asks with a small grin, she had always loved balloons during parties and celebrations. "Or maybe candy?" She says to no one in particular.

The other figure, a older lady, also sighs. "Maybe if you use that imagination of yours-" She says softly, before sitting up straight as if they were close to something they were looking for. "Just don't worry about it." She says under her breath.

"We're here," The man says, turning back towards Lindo yet his whole figure is blurred by unknown reasons. "Lindo, just so you know, one small step for man can be a leap for many others." The man says getting out of the car and rounding to Lindos side of the car, opening the door.

Getting out of the car Lindo looks around, the tall trees seeming to be looming over her in the darkness yet a sense of familiarity settles in. "What does that mean?" She asks, looking up at the man, who had just shut the car door.

The man sighs for a final time, "you will figure it out Lindo." He says before getting back into the car, and driving off with a slam of the car door, leaving Lindo there without anyone else.

"Wait!" She cries starting to run after them before stopping realizing it's pointless. "Wait, i just will wait for them to come back." She whispers, sitting on a rock, her golden hair blowing in the night breeze. Suddenly a rush of pain could be felt in her arm causing her to fall backwards onto the ground.

Black, everything was black, and everything hurt. Her arms hurt, her eyes hurt, even her legs hurt. Feeling around, the soft feeling of the covers of her bed instantly brought back the reality of where she was back to her head. Looking up at the ceiling Lindo notices that the fan lights are probably not on.

Getting up to turn on the light switch, Lindo rubs her eyes as they had never hurt this much before. Flipping the switch to no prevail Lindo stands there for a moment, rubbing her eyes before catching onto what was going on.

"I can't see." She exclaims, quietly at first. Realization sinking in. "Why Can't I See?" She asks, a bit louder but still quite as this was something she had not imagined was going to happen.
