Hello everyone, Shunya Toshiki here is bringing you a serious project of Gaidens for my Kamen Rider Hibiki story.

The Gaidens for Hibiki will be based around the RWBY: Ice Queendom anime series. As much as I like to mix it into the actual story, I just felt the Ice Queendom would be perfect in my Collection.

Plus I'm planning on doing the same thing for Fuuto PI for my W series, so I thought, what's the harm in doing the same for Hibiki?

Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.

Hibiki Gaiden 1: Shion Zaiden

In Team RWBY's room, both them and Team HYPN were taking turns in a fighting game. In one match, Hitoshi was up against Ruby and it was a close match between both of them.

"Come on, Ruby! You almost got him!" Yang said.

"Show her what you're made out of it, Hitoshi!" Nagisa said.

"I have to say, you're pretty good at this." Ruby commented.

"Thanks. Nagisa would often force me to play this game with him, but I've grown to like this over time." Hitoshi said.

"Then I hope you like losing even more!" Ruby said.

Ruby soon got the edge on Hitoshi as she managed to bring his heath bar to the red and was close to winning. Just as Ruby was about to throw in the final combo, Hitoshi confidently smirks before he blocks Ruby's attacks and manages to dish out a killer combo along with finishing moves, beating Ruby's character.

"KO!"

"Player 2 wins!"

"What? No way!" Ruby said in shock.

"That's what you get for being too overconfident, Ruby." Hitoshi told her with a cheeky smile.

Ruby pouted.

"Grrrr…rematch then!" Ruby demanded.

"Okay, you're on!" Hitoshi said.

Just as Hitoshi and Ruby were about to restart their match, everyone in the room heard the door being opened loudly and heard a familiar voice calling out to them.

"Everyone!"

Both HYPN and RWBY turned to the door and saw it was Pyrrha as she had a concerned look on her face.

"Pyrrha? What's wrong?" Hitoshi asked.

"It's Jaune! He's ill!" She told them which shocked the others.

After discovering the thorn-shape markings on Jaune's body, they soon brought him to the infirmary as Glynda Goodwitch was examining the leader of Team JNPR.

"How is he, Professor Goodwitch?" Pyrrha asked in concern for Jaune.

"I'm afraid Mr. Arc's condition is quite dire." Glynda told them as she turned to the students.

"How so?" Nagisa asked.

"You see these thrones on his back?" Glynda said and the students nodded. "This is the work of the Nightmare Grimm."

"Nightmare Grimm?" Ren said.

"I heard about this type of Grimm before." Yuki said, getting the others' attention. "It's a type of parasite type Grimm which can live in the dreams of its host."

"You are correct, Mrs. Chidori. The Nightmare Grimm are known to enter a person's body to drain their aura by living in the host's dreams and lock them in an eternal dream created from their trauma as their body is used as an eternal breeding ground for the Grimm, leaving them as an empty husk." Glynda explained to them.

"That's pretty scary." Ruby said.

"But…But there has to be something that we can do." Pyrrha said in worry for Jaune.

"Don't worry. As luck would have it, there's already a Huntsman in the area who specialize in dealing with this type of Grimm." Glynda told them.

"And who would that be?" Hitoshi asked before he and the others heard a knock on the door.

"That would be them." Glynda said before the door opened and the visitor entered the room.

The visitor appears to be nonbinary, having both feminine and masculine appearance.

They appear to be a young person with long silver hair and lavender eyes along with a pale white skin complexion. They have light purple nail polish on their fingernails. Their outfit consists of loose light purple long sleeves with their shoulders exposed, baggy white trousers with a black sash that holds three golden keys, and high heel black boots. In addition to their attire, they wear a big light lavender mage hat with three black feathers on it and a black fabric collar with two gold rings around it.

They were carrying their suitcase in their hand.

Glynda then approaches the Huntsman to greet them.

"It's been a while, Zaiden. I'm glad that you're here." Glynda said.

"I came as soon as I heard your call." The Huntsman said before Glynda turned to the students to introduce them.

"Students, this is Shion Zaiden. A huntsman who specialized in dealing with Nightmare Grimm."

"A pleasure." Shion greeted the students in training.

"Hey there." Ruby greeted the Huntsman.

"Can you really help, Jaune?" Pyrrha asked.

Shion then turns to the unconscious Jaune before they move in to check his condition.

"The infection looks severe, but it's not irreversible. I can manage with my skills and your help." Shion told the students in training.

"Then you'll get it." Hitoshi said as he and the others had a strong determination in their eyes showing their willingness to save Jaune.

"Okay then. First, I need a bigger space than this." Shion said before they pointed at Hitoshi and Nagisa. "You two, carry him."

"Right." Hitoshi nodded before he and Nagisa picked up Jaune by his arms and legs to carry him.

After bringing Jaune to a larger room where Ozpin was waiting for them, Shion soon placed their suitcase on a table and opened it to bring out their equipment.

Shion's equipment consists of an old fashioned typewriter, a telephone and some other devices. There was an hourglass filled with lavender flowers along with a jar for sealing the Nightmare Grimm including some purple string.

Shion then brought their weapon which was a staff with a giant dreamcatcher on the top with purple string forming the net.

After that, Shion then uses her weapon, the Dream Catcher, to infuse purple gravity Dust into the string to create a net below Jaune while moving in front of his eyes.

As they watched, the students were deeply amazed by Shion's work.

"It truly is mesmerizing. Shion's Semblance allows them to send others into the sleeper's world of dreams. While not ideal for physical combat, it makes Shion the perfect huntsman in combating the Nightmare Grimm." Ozpin told them.

After completing the net, Shion then turns to the students.

"Now then, in order to expel the Nightmare, I need to send people who have a close bond with this young man." Shion said and volunteering with that task as they step forward were the rest of Team JNPR with determined faces.

"We'll go." Pyrrha said.

After Pyrrha, Ren and Nora lied down on the net, Shion had created four voodoo dolls based around the members of Team JNPR and tied a string around each of their fingers and in front of their eyes.

In his dream, Jaune was seated on a small piece of ground with water and large thorns including stone statues of rabbit knights.

Jaune was in a fetal position as versions of his sword, shield and armor with rabbits on them were mocking him.

"For generations men of the Arc Clan have become glories warriors." The shield said.

"But then you came along. What a disappointment you are Jaune." The sword said.

"Hahaha! You're an incompetent miserable coward!" The armor said before they all laughed at him and disappeared.

Disheartened by their words, Jaune placed his face on his arms.

"No…I know I can do it! I can do it!" Jaune said before the Nightmare Grimm appeared on top of each of the stone statues.

Jaune then reverted to a child with rabbit ears and a tail as he began to cry.

"Big Sis, I'm scared…Help me!" Jaune cries out.

The Nightmare Grimm then moves closer to Jaune as it grows stronger by feeding on his despair and aura. Just as all seems lost, Jaune heard a familiar voice.

"Jaune!"

Jaune looks up.

"Who's there?"

Then a hole appeared in one of the massive thorns and opened like a door, and behind it were Jaune's teammates.

"We are here to help, Jaune." Pyrrha told him.

After waiting for a while, Shion's phone begins to ring and they soon answer it as they pick it up and place it on their ear.

"Shion, here. Did you find him? Good, now you must fight to set him free." Shion told Team JNPR before they put their phone down. "They were able to find Jaune."

"And fast. Excellent." Ozpin said.

"They're a good team. Who care about each other." Shion said.

After destroying parts of the Nightmare Grimm, the rabbit statues fall to the ground. Pyrrha then throws her spear at the large thorn around Jaune which forces it to retreat back to the ground.

Thanks to that, Jaune changes back to his present-day form as the members of his team move towards him with relief smiles on their faces.

"Pyrrha…Ren…Nora…" Jaune said.

Back in the real world, the markings on Jaune's body fades away and Shion narrows their eyes as the Nightmare Grimm ejected out of Jaune's body, before it could get away, Shion uses the Dream Catcher to entangle the parasite Grimm with their strings.

Shion then swung the Nightmare Grimm to their jar and closed and locked it so it wouldn't escape.

"Now it's your turn to be a captive, Nightmare. Stay in there and become a seed once more." Shion told the Grimm as it tries to escape but ends up falling.

Blake took a turn looking at the Nightmare Grimm which had reverted into a seed.

"A seed. So it's like a plant?" Yang asked.

"Usually Grimm would take on the form of beasts. But some Grimm are unique. Remember that." Glynda told them.

Nagisa then took a moment to look at the Nightmare Grimm.

"But man…hard to believe this little seed could cause so much trouble." Nagisa said.

After freeing from the Grimm, Jaune slowly begins to wake up as his eyes blink and see the ceiling.

"I've overslept!" Jaune said in worry as he sat up. "Oh, no!"

His teammates chuckles in amusement before he turns to them.

Shion then placed the jar containing the Nightmare Grimm in their suitcase.

"I'm glad we caught it before it grew too large. Fortunately his Aura is underdeveloped." Shion said.

"His Semblance hasn't awakened and his Aura in combat is below average. That proved fortunate for him." Glynda said.

While most of Jaune's friends were speaking to him and saying they were glad that he woke up, Weiss stood back for a bit with Nagisa standing beside her.

"Well I'm Jaune pulled through. He's lucky to have a great team." Nagisa said.

"I suppose." Weiss said and Nagisa noticed the tone in her voice.

"What? Are you worried that you'll be possessed just like him?" Nagisa asked and Weiss rolled her eyes and flicked her hair.

"Oh, please. There's no way I'll allow a Grimm to possess me." Weiss said with full confidence.

But little did Weiss know, she also housed a Nightmare Grimm as traces of thorn shape markings on her neck.

I have to tell you guys, I greatly enjoyed working on this. Also, I can't tell you how relieved I am that RWBY found a new home with VIZ Media! But man, I really need to catch up with the current volumes for my actual Hibiki story.
