Chapter 19 Ubuyashiki

I couldn't sleep at all that night something felt off, really off and instinctively I shouted, "I got you!" and got up throwing a nichirin knife at the wall stabbing what looked like an eye with upper moon four on it.

My stomach dropped as Homura and Hakuro rushed in shouting, "Uncle Nikolaos is everything okay"

Even Ayano rushed in and said, "Niko!"

Feeling like I was going to vomit I shouted, "sound every alarm and rush to protect Nezuko!"

Ayano rushed over to me as Miyuki grabbed her children and said, "come on now, its okay everything will be okay"

Ayano looked at me and said, "Niko…what was that"

"a demonic eye, baring the symbol of upper four" I said getting up and rushing to put on my armor and grabbing my weapons.

Ayano looked worried too saying, "but- but upper four was Hantengu! I thought he was"

"Killed by the sun? well clearly muzan replaced him rather easily, whoever this demon is I think they specialize in" I started to say.

Just as I grabbed for my spear though I finally realized what was going on and said, "Ayano send word to Inosuke to remain vigilante and then get our horses"

Vonfused Ayano looked at me and said, "Niko whats going on! What did you realize!" starting to get even more worried.

"If this person specializes in stealth and infiltration and were after nezuko they would have found her by now, they weren't looking for her!" I shouted, grabbing my spear.

Ayano finally realized why I was so worried and said, "oh gods master Ubuyashiki!"

Nodding I rushed out to find our horse spooked by the many eyes that surrounded it and slayers desperately attacking the eyes.

"How the hell are there so many!" I shouted as I rushed on to my horse.

Ayano took a good look at the eyes and said, "theres only one demon I can think of that can do this, and only one demon capable of making that structure that the demons hide in that Shinazugawa and Iguro saw, Nakime!"

Confused I said, "a normal demon?"

Ayano nodded and said, "her blood demon art was unique enough for muzan to keep her close and not require her to kill…her demon art is known as the infinity castle!"

As we rode off, I got word from lord Gyomei it was time to spring our trap, the master has ordered for us to final end him. Remembering the meeting me and gyomei had with the master finding out that not only was I in the care of his only son but his daughters would be in the care of lord tengen I smiled remembering the good times the many feasts the master attended at the bronze pavilion. How he accepted me, a foreigner into his ranks and called me his greatest friend, he treated me like a brother and I knew this wouldn't be the end of it, I would see them again.

Ayano looked at me and said, "Nikolaos what does the letter say?"

Crying a bit I said, "listen up and listen well Ayano as I will only be saying this once…the master's mansion is about to blow up and when it does it will hinder muzan's attempts at healing, we are to face him head on then and their along with our ally, a lady known as Ms. Tamayo…the master, lady Amane and the eldest two daughters have opted to stay as bait for the trap…"

Ayano looked like she was about to cry as she said, "that's why you went off on your own! You- you knew this was going to happen"

Nodding somberly, I said, "this was meant to happen…we're in the endgame now…the final pieces of this very long game of chess have finally been moved into place and its time for our final assault it is very much likely we will not make it…so lets leave nothing back, make your peace now Ayano"

Ayano rode closer to me with tears in her eyes as she held her stomach saying, "Niko…I wanted it to be a surprise after we finished muzan but…I am pregnant with your child Niko…"

Smiling a thousand thoughts raced through my mind and I just I just couldn't help but grin like a lion as I said, "well now this gives me an even greater reason to fight! Fwehahahahaha! I won't let you or our child down Ayano! You have my w"

But before I could finish that sentence an explosion lit up the entire area and we watched in horror as the master's manor went up in flames.

Howling in rage as I watched the master's mansion blow up, I rushed forward with Ayano shouting, "its game time Ayano!" before using my horse as a springboard to get over the rubble.

We had no time to wait the master needed us and more importantly muzan would be weakened we had to keep moving, must keep moving! Must keep moving! By gods apollo, Hermes, Zues! Any of the gods of Greece please here this spartan's plea let me make it in time! I needed to make it in time and avenge my master who

Ayano nodded and as we leapt over the rubble I saw a demon being stabbed by an unknown demon with loads of branching thorns all around the two of them.

Shouting at Ayano I said, "Ayano! Is that him? Is that muzan!"

Ayano looked pale and said, "yeah that's him! Be careful Niko he can't be beheaded like most demons!"

Ayano raised her eyes in shock and said, "that's- that's impossible! That woman is lady Tamayo!"

Rushing Muzan Lady Tamayo shouted, "now mr. Himejima-san, Lord Nikolaos!"

Grinning as I twirled my spear ferociously and my heart pumped harder and harder till finally my mark appeared I shouted, "Ayano!"

Ayano unsheathed her sword as a mark of her own formed and said, "right! Blood demon breathing 6th form blessed demon dancing through bloody rains!" slicing through Muzan's legs leaving loads of spots for poison.

As Gyomei roared and smashed Muzan's head completely off I shouted, "for Master Kagaya and Lady Amane! Pantheon breathing 9th form Athena's 300 perfect strikes" twirling my spear and roaring as I pierced Muzan's body 300 different times before slicing upwards with the crescents slicing his arms clean off and then leaping back away brandishing my shield.

"Gyomei Now!" I shouted slamming my shield with my spear.

As if on command Gyomei launched his war mace and my shield ricocheting it and slamming directly into Muzan over again destroying more of his body before Gyomei retracted his weapon and I shouted, "Ayano stay behind me!"

Ayano looked a bit afraid as she shouted, "that won't kill him off! His blood demon art is too strong! He can regenerate faster than any demon!"

Tamayo smirked and said, "you would think so, but I have given him a poison that forcibly makes demons into humans!"

As Muzan's head regenerated he first looked at me and said, "you! you are the one responsible for killing my eclipses! I will personally enjoy killing you!"

He was however caught off guard though as his hand was sliced to ribbons and Ayano coldly said, "blood demon breathing 2nd form dancing hollow slashes" sheathing her sword as she did.

Coldly Ayano turned to Muzan and said, "I will never let you kill him! Touch my beloved and I will end your miserable existence!"

Muzan struggled but said, "you! I thought they were lying when they said you were alive! Tch! Daughter! I will personally make sure your death is as painful and gruesome as his death! EGYPTIAN!"

A column of sand then spouted out of the ground, and I watched as a warrior standing at well over 12 ft tall dressed in golden armor with turquoise gem stones and a helmet that reminded me of the pharaohs of Egypt emerge. As the sandstorm stopped, I got a better look at his armor which looked like two wings going from either side of his rib cage and crossing his chest with scales resembling feathers keeping the rest of his body protected. On his right hand we wore two long nail guards that were engraved with hieroglyphics and made of gold and turquoise with ruby inlays and in his left he carried a huge Khopesh.

Taking up a stance the man spoke in an unknown tongue saying, "𓏏𓈖𓎡 𓋴𓇋𓂋𓇌 𓋹𓈖𓈖𓇋𓀋𓋴𓌰𓅱𓅓𓂝𓇌. 𓃀𓅱𓏏𓏏𓏪 𓌰𓏏𓎡 𓎡𓈖"

Looking at Ayano she looked absolutely scared shitless as she said, "t-that's eclipse 1….that's the Egyptian!"

Grinning I said, "finally a proper challenge!" before rushing him thrusting my spear forward only for him to create a hole in his body where my spear would have landed and he laughed saying, "𓉔𓈖 𓈖𓏏𓎡 𓂋𓂝 𓅓𓏏𓎡 𓋴𓂧𓎡𓏲𓇋! 𓈖𓈖 𓂋𓈖𓉐𓏏𓇋 𓈖𓉔𓈖𓂝𓎡𓏲𓇋!"

Roaring he then bitch slapped me away and spoke to muzan before Muzan laughed saying, "good!" before the Egyptian nodded and disappeared.

As reinforcements came in, I shouted, "all together we need to keep on damaging him! We have to hold out till morning!" while twirling my spear.

The others nodded and started shouting their opening attack, and I roared rushing forward shouting, "pantheon breathing final form keening of Olympus opening of tartarus!" while unsheathing my nodachi.

Before I could land an attack on him, however, the ground below me opened up and I dropped into a castle. Shocked I sheathed my weapon and grabbed Ayano making sure she was okay before looking down with a grin and shouting, "BY ZUES THIS IS LIKE A HEAVEN I HAVE NEVER SEEN! FWEHAHAHAHAHAH Ayano stick with me its time we earn our names as hashira and warriors! Let us honor the gods here and now!"

Ayano looked shocked at first but mustered up the courage before grinning with me and saying, "lets do this Nikolaos!"
