"What the heck is that?!" Nakumoto asked as he saw Olaf walking up behind them. Anna screamed and kicked his head, to which it landed onto kristoffs hands.
"Nope! You can have it!" Kristoff said as he tossed it back to Anna, clearly a bit shocked by a living snowman.
"No way! I don't want that thing!" Anna retorted as she tried throwing it back to him. However, it seemed this turned into a game of hot potato, as they kept tossing it back and forth.
"Wait guys stop! I know who this is!" Nakumoto said, canceling the throwing contest as Olaf's head dropped to the ground instead of someone else's hands.
"This thing has a name?!" Kristoff asked as Anna gave him a disapproving stare.
Naku grabbed the snowman's head and placed it on his body. Then, grabbing a carrot from Kristoffs satchel, he slowly but surely fit it right into Olaf's face, allowing him to breathe. "This is Olaf. He's a snowman of Elsa's creation."
"My sister created this?" Anna was completely shocked by this new discovery.
"Yup! My name is Olaf, and I like warm hugs!" Olaf said in a cheerful voice. "You must be very smart! I've never met you before and you knew who I was!"
"You could say that. My name is Nakumoto, and I'm a Guardian." Nakumoto said, bowing as he introduced himself.
"My name is Anna, and this is Kristoff. I'm introducing him because he's a serious kind of guy." She said rather mockingly, causing Olaf to look at her confused, and for Kristoff to give her a disapproving look. "Oh, and that's Sven!" She was completely oblivious to his implications.
"Hi Sven!" Olaf said, completely ignoring the fact he's greeting an animal who can't talk. "So, where are you guys heading?"
"We're trying to find her sister, Elsa. Anna believes she's near the north mountain." Kristoff said, trying to explain to a talking snowman, even though he's completely unsure if he will even understand.
"Oh, okay! Why is she in the mountains? Is she in trouble?" Olaf asked, to which Anna wanted to say something, but Nakumoto came in with the save and spoke up for her.
"There was an accident in Arendelle and she was blamed for it." Naku said, beginning to explain. "So she ran away from her kingdom, and now there's a winter storm engulfing the place, so we need to get Elsa back so she can change it back and save the kingdom." He hoped Olaf would understand, considering he thinks Olaf isn't too dumb.
"Oh, Arendelle? I always wanted to experience summer!" Olaf said gleefully, yet Kristoff looked at him with an amusing look on his face.
"I'm going to tell him." He said bluntly, to which Anna elbowed him in the chest.
"Don't you dare!" She said harshly.
"Alright. Let's keep moving. The more we stand around, the less time we have for Arendelle." Nakumoto said, reminding them of the race against time.
"Northern mountain, here we come!" Olaf said gleefully, obviously intrigued by the whole adventure.
"Let's hope Trevor made it safely…"
Meanwhile, back at the castle…
"No, no, no. The burger must be cooked thoroughly or it's a failure." Trevor exclaimed as he was cooking some western food for Elsa, who had never heard of such a dish before.
"A…burger?" Elsa asked. "Also, You must calm down. You shouldn't stress over food this much."
"I have to. If I don't, then I'm not a good chef." Trevor said begrudgingly. "I have standards I have to uphold in the kitchen."
"Just..don't get too upset okay…?" Elsa said worryingly.
Trevor looked at her and sighed, realizing his anger wouldn't leave a good atmosphere. "You're right. I'm sorry. Sometimes I take cooking a little too seriously." He finished plating the burgers with lettuce, tomato, mayo, cheese, and onto a brioche bun. He also made a side of sweet potato fries. Gotta stay healthy am I right? "Here. This is called a Cheeseburger. Where I'm from, it's a common dish served in a lot of restaurants."
"Oh wow! What are these?" Elsa asked as she pointed towards the sweet potato fries. "I have never seen these kinds of potatoes. They're orange!"
"That's because they're called sweet potatoes. They're just as starchy, but they have a sweet, candy taste towards the middle of the bite. It's also very healthy for you." He answered as he put his plate down and sat beside her, since she was now more comfortable being around him. "Let's eat!"
Elsa, who was obviously eager to try out his food, immediately grabbed the burger and took a bite out of it, only for her to not taste heat and juices from the burger patty, but a crunchy, cold texture. After she took a look down towards her food, she realized her food became cold and a bit frozen. Her control wasn't up to par yet. A frown soon developed on her face, but Trevor quickly noticed what had happened. He then put his hand over the food and slightly warmed it, allowing the temperature to come back to normal. As she saw this, her frost soon retreated from her fingertips, allowing the heat to take over the food. Then, going in for a second bite, she was able to enjoy the crunchy, savory, and juicy burger to its full potential.
"Wow! I've never had anything like this before!" She exclaimed with a smile on her face. "You're a very good cook. Maybe if you were to stay in Arendelle…" She looked up to him with a soft hearted look, "You could..become my personal chef?"
Trevor looked at her with a bit of confusion at first, but after a few moments, a shade of red appeared over his cheeks, and he quickly turned his head away. "T-That's very kind of you…." He said rather nervously, "B-But don't get your hopes up!"
She giggled softly as she finished her plate and picked up his, as they were finished with their lunch. "It seems you're not as serious as you put out to be." She then blew her tongue at him playfully, before walking towards the kitchen to put the dishes away.
Trevor sighed as he went to go sit down on the couch, since he was quite embarrassed over the little joke she pulled. As he waited, he took out a journal, a mini pocket one that he usually kept with him to log his days, recipes, and important events. While Elsa was seemingly washing the dishes, He began to write down his adventure up to that point, including their mission, his morality behind the whole thing, and also…his feelings.
"As I continue on this journey that seemingly has no end, I am still unaware of my actions. I killed people. They were fake, and they were from an animated film, but somehow the impact is still there. The blood, the adrenaline, the fear. It's there just as if this were the real world. I only hope that the Lord does not spite me and judge me for the sins I have committed, even if it were for the greater good of the mission." This part was mainly him questioning himself with his choices, and his mental state of mind. The next part dealt more with his inner feelings towards others, including…Elsa. "I have yet to find myself making friends. Everyone around me had abandoned me. My family, my co-workers, and my own happiness. Yet, Elsa somehow makes it all bright again. She's different, different from anyone else. I had a gift that was not liked by many, and most see it as a curse. Elsa…doesn't see it that way. She too has a gift, yet now everyone most likely fears her. Her abilities are amazing and useful for good, but most see it as a threat to their own self worth, their ambitions. I..connect with her. The only person I've ever truly…enjoyed talking to, is someone I just met two days ago. She's…amazing. She's…courageous, ambitious, kind…and..beautiful."
He was going to continue writing, but suddenly Elsa popped up next to him, having unexpectedly finished the dishes faster than he had hoped. "What's that you're writing?"
"GAAAAH!" He screamed as his frantic hands released the journal from his fingers, and as it fell to the ground, it slid towards her feet, causing her to pick it up, and not intentionally, read it. The pages were out and readable after all. "Wait! Don't read th-!"
As she began to read it, since she was interested in this kind of stuff, she started to read the last part out loud. "I..connect with her. The only person I've ever truly…enjoyed talking to, is someone I just met two days ago. She's…amazing. She's…courageous, ambitious, kind…and..beautiful…." As she finished that sentence, she slowly put the booklet down, and looked at him, not with judgment, but almost a sense of a plea for confirmation. Did he mean that? He called her beautiful. It made her heart tingle. "B-Beautiful?" That really did impact her the most. She feared others out of being resented, but he saw her deeper than anyone else ever had.
"Y…" He began as he choked on his words, but as his confidence grew, he slowly took a deep breath before answering. "Yes."
As she heard that, she almost ran towards him, tackling him into a hug. She began to not cry, but slowly embraced him as they slowly warmed up towards each other's touch.
"You're…really an angel aren't you?" She asked softly as she picked up her head to look deep into eyes. Her blue eyes shimmered as she spoke, almost as if she had found peace in herself.
"I couldn't say." He said rather sheepishly, causing a soft chuckle to escape both of their lips. "But I am an angel for you. Someone who promises to protect you at all cost."
As she heard his response, she slowly moved her face towards him, and as they both began to realize what they were about to do, they closed their eyes, and with almost every inch of desire in their minds, they said their names out loud, almost as a confession.
"Trevor…"
"Elsa…"
"ELSA!" A voice yelled, completely taking them by surprise. Elsa, now clearly embarrassed, pushed off Trevor like he was a stone and he was flown a foot away and got slammed into a wall. "Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to barge in at a moment like this!"
"You didn't barge into anything! We merely slipped and fell." She said, painstakingly trying to cover up their intimate moment. "I'm glad to see you! How did you find me here?"
"Ow…." Trevor said, still upside down from the push. Nakumoto quickly ran to him and helped him up. "Thanks bro…I think she broke something…" He said as he checked his ribs for any damages. "Good work regrouping. Did you encounter any resistance?"
"Just wolves. I managed to learn how to teleport." Naku responded while looking at him. "You?"
"I…killed 2 soldiers." Trevor said regrettingly. "They sent a squad after us earlier than I thought, and it was some Arendelle troops mixed with the Duke's soldiers. I shot them dead. They were trying to kill Elsa."
"Holy crap dude." Naku said, flabbergasted by the sudden answer that came out of his mouth. "At least you got Elsa somewhere safe. Besides it's the Duke's men. That bastard deserves more than death."
"Never wish death on others Naku! Fate isn't too kind to those who fiddle with it." Trevor said sternly and angrily, causing the sisters to turn their eyes towards them, with Elsa being the most concerned.
"Is everything okay Trevor?" She asked calmly yet worryingly.
"Everything's fine Elsa. I just got a bit passionate about something." Trevor said, trying to shift the negativity out of the way before turning to Nakumoto again. "Our mission is to take Hans and the Duke alive. Not kill them. I hate him too, but death is never the answer." He didn't mean to kill those men, but they left him no choice.
"Sorry. It's just that we already made choices that altered the future. Who knows what will happen next." Naku said, completely unsure of the outcomes.
"We'll cross that bridge when we get there, pal." Trevor said with a sigh of relief. "I'm just glad the army hasn't arrived yet."
After their own conversation ended, they walked towards Anna and Elsa, who seemed to be having their own discussion.
"So, you made this all by yourself?" Anna asked, absolutely amazed by the ice castle and its interior.
"Yeah. Well, with a little help from Trevor." She said winking at him. "He made some of the kitchen and decor possible with his magic."
"That's amazing! Who knew what your power was capable of!" Anna said, happy that her sister was doing okay.
"Yeah.." She looked at her sister, who seemed happy at the reunion, but she also felt fear. Fear of more accidents. "But you should go back to Arendelle. It's where you belong."
"B-But I just got here." Anna said, a bit hurt by her sister's sudden isolation attempt, "We both belong in Arendelle."
"No, Anna, It's safer for everyone that I am here alone in the castle. I've never felt so much freedom, so much peace." She slowly turned her eyes towards Trevor, who gave her a soft smile in response.
"Please, Elsa, come back with me." Anna said, stepping just a bit closer to her sister, while Elsa continued to back away slowly. Suddenly someone barged into the room unannounced.
"HI! I'M OLAF, AND I LIKE WARM HUGS!" Olaf said, practically screaming as he then slipped and fell towards Trevor, who basically tripped right over him. "Oh! Sorry!"
"T-Totally fine…." Trevor said weakly. How many more times is he going to be the butt of the joke?!
"Oh my gosh! Are you okay?!" Anna asked him as she helped Trevor up, while Nakumoto put Olaf back together. "Olaf be careful!"
"I said I was sorry!" Olaf said in his defense, "He seems to be fine!"
"Barely!" Elsa said laughing at the whole interaction, causing Trevor to sigh heavily. "How are you alive?" She was a bit confused by the whole ordeal.
"Well, when you and this guy were making the castle and singing together, you made me!" Olaf said, almost sounding like he was breaking the fourth wall. "I'm not mad though, because I basically waddled my way to your sister!"
Nakumoto couldn't help it and began laughing, clearly taken aback by the whole ordeal, especially since Olaf said Trevor was singing. "HAHAH! YOU NERD! DUETING WITH ELSA?! THAT'S LIKE A FANTASY COME TRUE FOR FIVE YEAR OLDS!"
Trevor then smacked him upside the head, shutting him up, while Elsa let out a chuckle, obviously intrigued by the situation. "Who are you calling a nerd? You're a mega nerd."
"Anyway!" Anna said, trying to keep back on topic. "Elsa, Arendelle needs you. It's imperative that you come back with us!" Nakumoto shook his head in agreement.
Now playing: For the First Time in Forever (Reprise)...
"Anna…" Elsa said, fearful of what might happen to her if she stays near her. "Go back home. Your life awaits! Enjoy the sun, and open up the gates!" She was trying to reason with her sister. Elsa still had trouble controlling her powers, even with Trevors lessons.
Suddenly, the guardian's communications system buzzed in, causing Trevor to sigh in relief. "Hello? Can you guys hear me? I had some interference on our end." Reggie had finally brought back communications.
"Took you long enough. What the hell happened?" Nakumoto asked as Reggie sighed over the comms.
"That's not important. The mission event alert went critical. None of you can interfere with this." Reggie said firmly and sternly.
"What do you mean we can't? We managed to save Elsa somewhat back at the palace." Trevor said, refuting the order, "How come this event would be any different?"
"Because your dumb interference caused the story to change! You caused the guards to send out a search party early! You killed two guards! What makes you think saving Anna won't cause anything else to go wrong?!" Reggie said, reasoning with him. "Now that you both have interfered with the story, you must be whole with it. Any more changes will cause the system to collapse. You must now protect her and Elsa at all costs. The mission remains the same. Arrest Hans and the Duke of Weselton." Reggie said, finalizing his order. "If any of you screw up, Iger is going to have to explain your failure to the board!"
Trevor cursed at the order, but Reggie was right. They were now in total responsibility for what happened next. It could mean the deaths of everyone there. "Copy. I'll deliver the prisoners myself." He said this rather coldly.
After that conversation, the attention was shifted back towards Anna and Elsa, with the room suddenly becoming even colder than it was before. Only Nakumoto was affected, since Trevor had his fire to keep him warm. "Trevor..I can't feel my…"
Trevor quickly went to his partner and used his heat to thaw the obvious frostbite. "I put a layer over you. Try to keep yourself next to me." Nakumoto acknowledged this as he kept his distance towards him.
"Elsa, I have a problem with that!" Anna said, unsure if it would be a good idea to tell her.
"What do you mean? Arendelle is okay right?" Elsa said, now becoming more fearful by the minute.
"Arendelle is in…deep, deep, deep…deep snow." Anna said, now fully sure of herself. She thought Elsa would go if she knew, but both of them were about to realize that those words would start an extreme chain reaction.
"What?!" Elsa said, now extremely afraid and frightened by her response.
"You kind of..set off an eternal winter, but it's okay! You can undo it, right?" Anna asked, hoping she would agree. But the most unexpected part was that Elsa then suddenly looked like she saw a miracle. She quickly turned her head towards Trevor, and rushed towards him, holding his hands firmly.
"Trevor! You have fire! You can help me stop the spell!" Elsa said, almost relieved that he was here and a part of her world. "Can you do it? Maybe with the winter stopping we can help save the kingdom!"
Trevor looked towards Nakamoto, who was also surprised by the sudden change. It didn't seem like a bad idea, and no one was telling them not to do it. He then turned his head back to Elsa, who was looking at him with pleading eyes."Yes. I can. Let's save the kingdom and get you guys home safe."
"YES!" Elsa screamed in joy as she tackled him with a hug, causing a gasp from Olaf and Anna, and a smirk to escape Nakumotos lips. "I'm so glad you came Trevor! Without you, none of this would've been possible!"
"Is everything okay?!" Kristoff said, barging in after hearing someone scream. He then saw Elsa and Trevor hugging each other, confusing him. "Did I come at a bad time?"
"Kristoff! We're going to save the kingdom! Trevor has some sort of fire power that can thaw the spell!" Anna said joyfully, now happy that her sister felt safe around someone for the first time in her life.
"Well, what are we waiting for?! Let's go!" Olaf said hurryingly, obviously excited for another adventure.
"Alright, Lets gather our equipment and get going!" Nakumoto said as the whole gang got ready to face one of their greatest challenges yet. But as they seek the safety of their kingdom, the choices made along the road, will surely cause more consequences. Will their path destroy the world, or will their choices save the kingdom?
