When the sun rose to mark the start of the new day; Miho, Saori and Annelien were all resting on Miho's bed with their legs dangling off the side, while Yukari and Hana were both sleeping on the floor. "Good morning everyone," she says, causing everyone else to stir and finally wake up.
After everyone ate a quick breakfast with Miho's parents, they all decided to head to the park next to the museum before heading back to their homes. While Kirce and Michael tried to insist on them staying and waiting for their folks to pick them up, they were persuaded otherwise. After they arrived, Saori and Hana left together since their homes were in the same direction, Yukari left followed by Annelien who went in the opposite direction.
Miho headed back to her house to spend some more time with her parents before returning back to her dorm room to prepare for school the next day. After she arrived, her mom greeted her, "so, enjoy your little trip?"
"Yeah, it was nice." Miho responded, heading over to the table.
As her mom joins her across from her, "so come on now, tell us about your first week, you didn't really say much during our calls." She asked, curious about how her daughter was faring in her new school life.
"Oh, it was great," Miho said. "I enjoyed it far more than at my previous school, I wasn't the only transfer student, a lot of new students actually came from Oorarai girl's academy; that's where Hana and Saori are from." Miho elaborated.
"Nice," her mom was glad that Miho was able to make some new friends, especially with students who were also transfer students. "I know that you already accepted the commander position, but I still have to ask, are you sure you wanna jump into this so quickly?" She asked, while she knew of Miho's appointment to armored corps commander at her graduation ceremony at MLS, but she still couldn't help but worry that Miho might be pushing herself without giving herself enough time to recover from her traumatic experience.
"Yes I am," Miho answered. "I'll admit back then I didn't really know what to do since tankery was all I'd known and I'd wanted to get away from it. But after meeting you guys and Annelien and Yukari at MLS I feel more motivated to come back again."
After dinner Miho started the trek back to her dorm. While she was done with her homework, she still had to draw up plans for the armored corps training sessions for the coming school week, this also meant that both she and Annelien would have to head to school early to plan. When she arrived, she outlined a makeshift "to-do" list so that when she and Annelien meet back up the next day, they could more quickly form a plan.
