Midoriya and everyone else watched Su Han observing Bakugo's Miraculous. Midoriya could tell that Bakugo was a bit uncomfortable with this class as he twirled it around with his fingers.
"HawkMoth made this apparently, correct?" Su Han asked him.
Bakugo was having a hard time answering his questions considering he's been trying to avoid talking about stuff like this.
"Y-Yes. He did," Bakugo said to him as sweat dripped down his forehead.
"It is quite impressive. He used the same materials that were made to make a Miraculous. He must have had books and grimoires on how to make them," Su Han explained to them, "If you ever get akumatized and it gets absorbed into a Miraculous, the only way to get it out is to destroy the Miraculous with Cat Noir's cataclysm. Luckily, Ladybug's Miraculous can repair it so it ends up going back to normal."
Bakugo got nervous for a moment, but settled down once he heard about Ladybug's powers.
"As for the Kwami..."
Su Han put it on his finger, which Bakugo wasn't expecting. Sparkky appeared out of the Miraculous and found itself floating in front of the class. It looked around to see Su Han wearing the Miraculous. Something about being in the presence of a Guardian seemed to help Sparkky keep itself under control.
"Hello there, Kwami. I'm Su Han, the Celestial Guardian of the Miracle Box," Su Han said as he bowed to it, "It's an honor to meet you, and you are?"
Sparkky looked back at Bakugo, and then back at Su Han.
"Sparkky. The name's Sparkky," The Kwami said back, "My power is Explosion."
Su Han looked a little concerned, but went on with the class anyway.
"Alright, does anyone know why Kwamis are contained into something like the Miraculous?" Su Han asked them.
Midoriya's hand shot up in the air again, and Su Han called on him again.
"Kwamis are actually very powerful. More powerful than anyone realizes. The Miraculous help contain that power so that they don't lose control of it," Midoriya explained, "Kwamis can use their powers, but it's best that they don't because they are much stronger than us."
Everyone else was shocked and speechless to find this out. Su Han looked impressed that Midoriya knew so much about them.
"That's correct," Su Han said back, "That goes for all of the Miraculous, including Izuku's. Now..."
Everyone was pretty much ready to see what he was about to do.
"Katsuki, if you may tell me the transformation phrase so that I may show everyone how it works," Su Han said to him.
Bakugo hesitated to say anything as his face began to warm up from embarrassment. He could feel everyone watching the two of them and decided to just get it over with.
"It's Sparkky, Ignite," Bakugo said out loud, causing some other classmates to laugh out loud.
Bakugo almost got up from his seat to cause a scene, but then Mr. Aizawa stared a piercing glare at Mineta and Kaminari. Su Han got ready to transform, which Bakugo was really regretting giving it to him now.
"Sparkky, Ignite!" Su Han called out.
The Kwami went inside of the Miraculous and Su Han was surrounded by a glowing orange light. He was soon standing in the middle of the classroom in a full on hero costume. Everyone was blown away by how different he looked compared to Bakugo. Even Bakugo was surprised by how completely different he looked.
Su Han had more of a Chinese robe than a spandex suit. The robe was mostly black with orange designs all around it. He wore baggy black pants with a belt around the robe ammo and grenades. His shoes turned into shoes that fit more with the style, but were still sandals. He wore gauntlets that looked just like Bakugo's but that was really the only thing that was the same thing. He even wore a black mask with orange edges around it.
"Whoa! That's so cool!" Kaminari cried out.
"It looks completely different from Bakugo's hero costume!" Ashido cried out.
"Even when Midoriya wore it, it wasn't nearly as different as this!" Sero cried back.
"Yes, and why is that?" Su Han asked them.
Midoriya's arm shot up again, and Su Han sighed.
"Anyone else know why?" Su Han asked them.
Uraraka's hand went up, but was still nervous.
"Yes, umm... sorry miss. What's your name again?" Su Han asked her.
"It's Ochaco Uraraka, sir," Uraraka introduced, "And when you wear the Miraculous, it changes costume depending on who's wearing it. My guess is that takes on the form of someone's style and personality."
"Yes, exactly. I'm at least glad that someone else has been paying attention," Su Han said to them, "I bet a lot of you don't know that you can also fuse with another Miraculous. For example, I could fuse Katsuki's Miraculous with Queen Bee's. Any of them if he wanted to," Su Han explained.
Everyone didn't expect him to say that, even Midoriya.
"Wait seriously? You can fuse with any of them?" Iida asked him, "Even the Dragon Miraculous or maybe even Midoriya's Miraculous?"
"Yes, even Izuku's Miraculous can fuse with any of them. It is unfortunate that his Miraculous got taken from Chrysalis, but we will get it back for sure," Su Han explained.
Everyone started getting nervous and looked at Midoriya. He tried not to pay attention to everyone looking at him, but kind of felt the same way.
Then he remembered Uraraka mentioning something about Chrysalis fusing with his Miraculous a long time ago. He now worried about his mom and the fact that she has it again. He really hoped that Chrysalis wasn't planning on doing anything while he was doing schoolwork.
Midoriya could hear Kaminari and Mineta snickering at Bakugo since Su Han mentioned Chloe's Miraculous fusing with his. Bakugo looked like he was getting red in the face as he was about to go at them with empty fists. Mr. Aizawa stopped them from doing anything that was deemed unnecessary, and they sat back down.
"Alright then, why don't we get into akuma repelling?" Su Han asked them.
Class 1-A seemed excited for this part of the class, especially the half of the class that went to Paris. Su Han took off Bakugo's Miraculous and gave it back to him. He then went back to Mr. Aizawa's desk as he went through something behind it and everyone grew curious. Soon enough, he ended up pulling out something in a jar.
It was an akuma.
"An akuma?!" Midoriya cried out, nearly jumping out of his seat.
"Master Su Han?! Why do you have an akuma here in the school?!" Iida cried out as he waved his arms back and forth.
"I wouldn't normally do this, but I am told that we've gotta hold of this situation very well," Su Han said to them, "I wanted to do this in the best way that I know how."
"Mr. Aizawa, you approve of this?!" Iida cried out.
Mr. Aizawa didn't seem all that interested in this class, but he did look a little hesitant about this one in particular.
"Master Su Han. Are you sure that this is the right way to go about it?" Mr. Aizawa asked him, "My students have been through enough, especially the ones that were stuck in Paris with me. They might not want to do something so risky. Besides, this is one of the akumas that went through the portal and into Japan. Chrysalis could be planning something with these."
"No matter what, there's always a plan with one of these things around," Su Han explained to them, "Besides, how are they going to learn how to repel these things without having one in the room?"
"Oh I don't know, maybe actually telling us how to do it before releasing it in the classroom!" Kaminari cried out.
"Very well," Su Han said and kept the jar on the desk for now, "All you have to do is first calm down. It helps a lot to stay calm when an akuma appears."
Everyone tried to do so, and mostly everyone that went to Paris were able to do so. The others were still taking their time since they didn't know exactly what an akuma was and what it did. Once everyone was calm, Su Han went on to the next step.
"Okay, once you are calm the akuma will soon not be able to detect you, and it will fly away. It's that simple," Su Han said to them.
"Wait a minute, you don't have any sort of spell or incantation. You are a celestial guardian of the Miracle Box," Iida pointed out.
"Ah yes. I am. But the incantation is specific for us monks who are taught a chant called, the whirlwind of wisdom by saying, the virtuous wind resists the temptation and repeating My anger is mine, but I am not my anger to repel any akumas that are nearby," Su Han explained, "Those only work best if you're a celestial guardian and/or train to be one."
"But what about if you do get caught? I've seen Bakugo break out of an akuma," Midoriya asked him, "How do you do that?"
"That's easy. That Butterfly Bastard was annoying me to no end!" Bakugo said back, "So I broke out of it. I told him to leave me alone and that he wasn't the boss of me."
"Yes actually, Katsuki is right," Su Han said to them, "It can definitely help when you're under the influence of the akuma."
Su Han held the jar, which made everyone flinch a little. He looked at Mr. Aizawa and the rest of the class.
"I'll only open it if everyone wants to try it. If not, I'll leave it closed," Su Han said to all of them.
Everyone looked at it with so much confidence, but knew that this wasn't a good idea. Even Mr. Aizawa knew that this wasn't a good idea. Things were different here in Japan, and they didn't want to accidentally damage the school or for anyone to get hurt.
"No, sir," Midoriya said to him, "We're not ready for this lesson. We all think it's best that we don't do this at the moment."
Su Han seemed to understand and put the jar away. Everyone relaxed and already felt much better once it was put away. Even Mr. Aizawa looked a little bit more relaxed as Su Han went on to the next part of the class. The whole class felt like they wanted to move on to a different class for once.
Even Midoriya felt like he already had enough of Su Han for one day.
Later in Support Class...
Marinette felt like she wanted to make so many different inventions already. She had finally finished the invention for Bakugo back in her room last night, and it seemed to work. Probably.
She just needed him to try it on, but she didn't know how it would work considering he could just transform without needing to change into anything. She at least hoped that he could use it somehow.
And now she was already working on something for Jirou. She felt bad for her and everything that she's been going through. She felt like she owed her considering she didn't think that she would be in Japan with her. Marinette had to admit though, her quirk was very unique and kind of inspiring. Marinette asked Mr. Aizawa if she could borrow a pair of headphones that Jirou wore for her hero costume. She just needed something like that so she could get some sort of idea on how to make headphones with adjustable noise canceling options.
"Wow Marinette! That looks so cool!" Melissa exclaimed as she helped her out.
"Thanks. I just think that Jirou deserves something that might help her in a fight," Marinette said as she wiped sweat off of her forehead.
"And what's this? It looks like some kind of backpack?" Melissa asked her.
Marinette was pointing at something that she kind of got started on but didn't finish yet. It was supposed to be a backpack amplifier, but Marinette realized that she definitely needed help with that one.
"Yeah. It's a backpack amplifier so she can plug in her earphone jack. I thought that it would be a great way to have a surprise attack from behind her," Marinette explained to her, "Besides, she would probably really enjoy having a backpack like this."
Marinette stopped tinkering around for a moment and felt a little guilty for coming to Japan. She remembered seeing her really upset when she ran out of their dormitory the other night. Somehow she still thought that she might've done something wrong. Marinette just couldn't help but want to be a good friend to her.
"I just feel like I owe her," Marinette said little too quietly, "I just know that she's been hurting a little bit lately. Her and Adrien were kind of close in Paris, and now that me and him are together, something about it must feel really weird for her."
"I didn't know that Jirou and Adrien dated. I'm guessing that she doesn't want to talk about it very much," Melissa said back.
Then Marinette realized that she had spilled without even noticing it.
"Oh shoot! Melissa, please don't say anything to her or anyone for that matter!" Marinette cried out, "She really wants this to be a secret or at least private!"
"Don't worry Marinette," Melissa said back, "I won't say anything. I promise."
Marinette felt like she could relax as she got back to tinkering around with the brand new headphones. They were almost finished, they just needed a bit of adjusting with the ear pieces that will cover her ears. She just wanted to add her own design for Jirou that fit with her hero costume. Marinette ended up painting really cool and edgy initials of her hero name on each side. She even sealed it really well with special spray paint so it wouldn't rub off so easily. Her headphones were finally finished. They were pink with a black outline around them. The initials EJ were painted purplish color just like hair, but had black outline around it and then a white outline around that.
Marinette smiled at them, feeling pretty good about them.
"There. What do you think?" Marinette asked Melissa.
Melissa smiled and took them from her very carefully. She put them on. They fit her really well, and she could tell that the noise cancelling options were working pretty well. Melissa's eyes sparkled when she took them off.
"She's going to love them!" Melissa exclaimed, "It looks like she can even plug in her earphone jacks if she needs to protect them at any point."
"Yeah, I thought that would work out really well," Marinette said back, "I always thought that she needed something to protect her ears. I'm just glad that I could finally do something for her."
Marinette grabbed her backpack and turned over to Melissa with a big smile.
"Do you think you could help me with this? This would be one of the best inventions I've come up with so far," Marinette asked her, "I just need help with connecting the amplifier to the backpack so it doesn't topple in it while she's running."
"You got it," Melissa said back, "I'm already done my invention anyway."
Marinette and Melissa went to working on it, and Marinette really loved where this was going. She really wanted to make Jirou happy and get excited about being home. She didn't like the fact that she was crying and keeping her distance away from her friends. She just wanted to see her happy and smiling brightly. Something about that just felt so good.
Once she hooked up the amplifier, she smiled from ear to ear. She lifted it up and noticed that it didn't topple or fall over. It stayed in place really well.
"Yes! We did it!" Marinette cried out, "I can't wait to give this to Jirou! She's going to love this!"
"I'm happy that I got the chance to do this for you, Marinette," Melissa said back, "I hope that I can be there when you give it to her!"
Marinette looked at her as she realized that she reminded her of Alya a little bit. It kind of threw her off a bit, and she felt tears start to come up out of no where. Melissa noticed and tried to support her.
"Marinette, what's wrong? I thought you liked it," Melissa said to her, looking upset.
"Y-Yeah. I do, I just..." Marinette said back as she tried to look at her, "You just remind of a friend that I have back home. She's my best friend, and I just miss her so much. She used to help me with so much when she found out that I was Ladybug. She's just... a really good friend, and I know that you and Alya would be such good friends."
Melissa noticed how much she missed her and gave her a hug. Marinette didn't expect her to hug her, but she gave in and hugged her back.
"I'm sure whatever she's doing, she's very proud of you for helping out your friends," Melissa said back, "I may not know Alya, but she sounds like a really good friend that sticks by your side no matter what."
Marinette wiped her tears off of her face and smiled at her.
"Yeah. She is," Marinette said, feeling much better, "Thanks Melissa for helping me. I can't imagine doing this with anyone else."
They both smiled at each other and felt themselves laughing at one another. They were both just so glad to be enjoying each other's company. Marinette felt so lucky to have a friend like Melissa around, especially when she missed Alya so much.
She couldn't wait to give Jirou her new upgrades. Marinette just wanted to see her smile again.
Another amazing chapter!
This was a fun chapter! Su Han's class has finally wrapped up! He actually transformed with Bakugo's Miraculous! That was something! He even almost let out an akuma for class!! That was one way to learn about akumas and how to repel them, lol! It looks like Marinette is learning a lot in Support class already! She already finished Bakugo's invention and now Jirou is getting new noise cancelling headphones and a backpack amplifier!! What?! So cool!
What's going to happen next??
More to come soon!
