She stared him down as he just stood at the window sill. The air was cold as his words were made clear to her through the silence that followed his last statement. She couldn't see his face though she knew he must have been amused by his nonchalant body language. It almost looked like he was bored.

He watched her for a moment longer before beginning his approach. She knew better than to let him as she sprang up and leapt to the door. Opening it she found the slumped over body of a nurse to the wall in front of her. She resisted the urge to stop her movement as she ran out of the room and down the hall. He only watched her run, not seemingly worried at all.

She ran throughout the hospital as more bodies laid out on the floor, some hospital staff, others patients. She felt sick at the sight, though knew she couldn't stop. She came to a fork in her path. 'Shit!' Turning right she met him spooking at her with his arms crossed. She weaved through hand signs. "Insect Style! Net-Shaped Prison!" A web of silk erupted from her mouth as it ensnared him. He grunted as she began to run away.

"So, she's still got some fight left. Hm, good."

She ran towards the left corridor. Hopefully the web could keep him busy, long enough to find help. She began to cough. No, not now.

She fell to the ground. Looking at the floor she saw drops of red. 'No, why now.' The crimson liquid flowed out of her mouth as her failing body finally showed its protest to the activities of the night.

'Please, we can't stop now.' She pleaded, though she knew there was nothing she could do. Her body has been failing for far too long. She knew her time was coming to an end for the past couple of months now. If only this had happened a few months ago, at that point she would have had the energy.

"You seem to be in quite a pickle, huh?" She looked up to the cage in front of her. The room having changed to a bedroom, her bedroom. "Yes it seems so. I'm sorry. It looks like we won't be able to have our talks anymore. And…my little Fuu will have to grow without knowing me." Wet hot tears streamed down her face. She failed.

"You have nothing to apologize for. This is all my fault. I'm the reason you're being chased." She looked up to the giant beetle. "Nanabi."

"Now then. It might not be for long, but I think you can use my power for a short time. At least long enough to fend him off." She looked at the Seven Tails, its words going through her mind.

The sound of lightning came to her ears as she just dodge the bolt that would have ended her life. The dust around her faded quickly as He walked towards her. "Well now, you're full of surprises. Now let's end this." His hand buzzed to life as the sparks of lightning surrounded it.

A punch landed in his gut. He flew through the wall as it shattered. "You're right, let's end this."
