Chapter 1: The Princess Returns

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

The Sun rises over a lone road on the countryside, deserted except for 1 lone carriage slowly crossing through. It was a small carriage, big enough to fit only one person in the compartment, but it was pristine white with flower patterns carved into the wood with wheels made of gold, something made for royalty or high nobility. There was only 2 people in it: The coach, an elven man apparently judging by the pointy ears he possessed, and a woman dressed in a wide sleeve green and yellow dress with flat heel wooden shoes and matching green and yellow cloak with the hood over her head.

As they continue down the road, eventually a city presented itself to them: The Castle city of Camelot, crown jewels of the Kingdom of Great Britain.

Coachman: *Pulls on his reins half way there* Wooooow, we have arrived Milady.

The Mystery Woman, got off the Carriage and walks next to her coachman, gazing at the great city she had not seen in almost a decade, with happiness but also wariness as it has become unknown territory to her. None the less she will not flee from the mission she was one.

Mystery Woman: Thank you Damon, you may go home now, i will continue from here *Begins to walk*

Damon: *Worriedly* Are you sure Milady? It's still quit a distance, especially on foot.

Mystery Woman: *Stops walking and turns around with a smile* Yes Damon ill be fine, now move along before your dear wife gets angry and hunts you down with her iron skillet again.

Paling in fear, the coachman hurriedly turned the carriage around and left to go home, while the woman continued ahead to Camelot. When arriving at the gates, 2 Anthropomorphic red foxes who act as the gate guards approached her, asking her what business brought her here.

Mystery Woman: *Removes her hood to reveal a young green haired woman with cherry red eyes and pointy ears* My name is Stella Springfield, i'm a medicine woman from the kingdom of Hyrule and i'm here hoping to practice my craft in service of the good people of Camelot. *Takes out of a scroll from a pouch on her belt and hands them to a guard* Here are my identification papers.

The guard took the scroll and read through it quickly. Everything appeared to be in order, so he closed it.

Guard 1: *Hands her back the scroll* Everything seems to be in order, tho there's one question i'll have to ask you.

Stella: Which is?

Guard 1: Your papers say that you practice magic, would you please tell us what kind of magic you use and for what purpose.

Stella: Mainly Healing magic, for ailments and injuries to severe to be treated with regular medicine, or inflicted by magical means. I also know a bit of fire Magic and i use low level water and earth wands, for preparing medicine *Shows them by igniting a small flame in one hand and producing 2 wands, one blue and one green sparking a bit at the tips from her pouch*

Guard 2: And do you have the proper permit to use your magic here? You must know that the use of magic in Camelot is restricted and no one can use it without a proper permit?

Stella nodded before putting her wands back in the pouch and producing another piece of paper, her permit for magical usage, from that same pouch to show them.

Guard 1: *Reads it over quickly before nodding* Alright Miss Springfield, you may enter, welcome to Camelot.

The second guard opened the gate and lets her pass.

Guard 1: Oh and *Stella stops and turns to him*, enjoy the festivities.

She didn't understand what he ment at first, until she got in the city and saw it decorated with many colorful banners and many merchants running around to set up their best to sale while the people all around looked pretty exited about something, like some kind of grand celebration is about to take place. Could it be a Tourney or some kind of festival occurring? Spotting a Baker's shop nearby, she walked to the Baker, an Anthropomorphic Turkish Van cat who was unloading many heavy bags of flower from a wagon with the help of 3 other, younger Turkish Vans, to ask.

Stella: Excuse me baker, but is there going to be a celebration?

Baker: *Looks at Stella half scowling* Yeah, woman, are new King's birthday is tomorrow. Do you know how much baking that means?: Two hundred cinnamon rolls, three hundred strudel, four hundred cream puffs, ...

Stella: It does sound like you have your job cut out for you.

Baker: And those are the easy ones, i must in addition bake a colossal birthday cake! Do you have any idea how much time a single layer takes to make, or how heavy it weights *Wines*.

Baker's Wife: *Walks at the counter with fresh cinnamon rolls to sale and scowls at her husband* Oh stop your wining George, the court pays us well for it all and you have me and the boys to help you out.

Baker: *wipes away none existing tears* Yes dear, you're right as usual *Gets back to work unloading the flower*.

Baker's Wife: *Shakes her head, whispering* Such a lazy husband i have married, *Then turns to Stella, smiling* and what about you dear, care for a role? Fresh out of the oven.

Stella: *Shakes her head with a smile* I'm not hungry, thank you. But tell me, do you know where Matthew and Vanessa Rabbit (1) live?

Baker's Wife: *Smiles, but it was a bit sad* You mean do i know where Vanessa and her daughter Caroline live? Matthew was killed 4 years ago by the false king alas, in front of his wife and daughter.

The news brought a pang of sadness to the elven woman's heart. Poor Vanessa must have been devastated. At least he had left her a daughter to love it would seem, it elevates the sadness a bit, but sadness soon turned to anger upon the realisation that she had witness his murder at the hands of Merlin failed creation, yet another crime he carries full responsibility for, he was lucky to be dead already or she'd... She took a breath to calm down, and again she asks the baker's wife where she can find them.

Baker's Wife: *Points down the road* Her house is a little further down the street, the walls are painted yellow with a straw roof, you can't miss it.

Stella thanked the kind woman and was about to leave when she accidentally walked into someone, a hooded woman wearing a yellow peasant dress under and carrying a large bag, causing the elven woman to stumble back a bit while the hooded peasant woman fell down, dropping her bag who's contents was sticking out a bit.

Stella: *Gasp* Oh my Farore (2) i'm so sorry, i didn't see you there *Walks to help the woman up*.

Hooded Woman: *Accepts Stella's help silently, then notices her bag was missing and panicked* My bag! Where's my bag!?

Stella was the first one to spot the bag and went to pick it up for her, that's when she notice 2 of the items spelling out of it: A small sachet of Boquila leaves, which is the main ingredient in a shapeshifting potion, and a straw doll, curious items for a civilian to posses, is she a practicing sorceress?

Hooded Woman: *Forcefully snatches her bag from Stella* Give me that, leave me alone *Quickly walks away*

Stella: *Follows her* Wait, are you hurt? I can heal you if you are.

Hooded Woman: *Turns around to glares at Stella* I said leave me alone *Walks away faster*.

Well that was an unnecessary display of hostility for what was essentially an accident, even if she was the one at fault. She then wondered if it had something to do with the things in her bag and if she was going to use them for nefarious plan? If so, should she do something about? The answer is obvious: She can't, she has no proof of anything like that, so she had no choice but to forget it and move along to Vanessa's house.

Meanwhile, in the Opposite Direction.

A group of knights, lead by Sir Lancelot, were quickly marching down the street in hot pursuit of the same hooded peasant woman, a witch that tried to assinate the king a few days back, but failed and was thrown into the dungeon, where she would await trial after the King's birthday celebration. But she escaped this morning and now the knights were looking all over for her. She was spotted walking down the street to the main gain, so here they were. But as they walked down the street, they passed by Stella as she was heading for Vanessa Rabbit's house, and Lancelot froze on the spot seeing her walking away, as if he just saw a ghost.

Lancelot: 'Her hair and ears are all wrong. But the shape of her face, her eyes, and she looks the right age, could it be...?'

Knight: *Runs to Lancelot's side* Sir Lancelot, i have bad news to report *Sees he's not responding to his words, he's not even looking at him* Sir Lancelot?

The Knight's words snapped Lancelot out of his stupor and he looked at him confused, as if not understanding what he just said.

Knight: Sir, are you alright?

Lancelot: *Shakes his head and clears his voice* Yes, i'll be fine. Did you find the witch?

Knight: *Frowns* Alas Sir she escaped. We asked everyone around if they saw a suspicious female pass through here, the Baker's wife said a strange woman in a hood passed by the bakery on her way to the main gates most quickly, we were to late.

Lancelot: *Teeth Clenched* Damn it. Go tell the other knights to fetch their horses and prepare to leave, we must track the witch down and recapture her fast before she can plot to kill the king again.

Knight: *Fist on his chest and bows* It will be done, Sir.

As the Knight walked away to execute his order, Lancelot turned back to look at Stella again, but she already left his line of sight.

Lancelot: *Shakes his head and walks away* 'No, it couldn't be her. She wouldn't dare return to Camelot'.

BACK WITH STELLA

Stella: *Looks back from the quarter of her eye to see if Lancelot followed her, but sigh in relief when he didn't* 'Good he didn't recognized me, or he thought he confused me with someone else, either way my glamour worked'.

She finally spotted the house described by the Baker's wife, and near the door was a little rabbit girl wearing an orange dress with puffy white sleeves and matching shoes. She's playing with a blue kitten with yellow paws, ears and tail tip.

Stella: *Smiles* 'That must be Vanessa's daughter' *Walks to the little girl* Why Hello there.

Caroline: *Stops playing with her kitten and looks up to Stella, nervous but also curious as to what this stranger wants* H-hello.

Stella: *Crouches at Caroline's level* Don't be scared sweetie, i won't hurt you, i'm just looking for friends of mine, Matthew and Vanessa Rabbit, do they live here?

Caroline: *Nods* Their my parents *Looks sad now* But my daddy is dead.

Stella: *Pets the little girl's head in sympathy* I'm truly sorry to hear that dear. You know, i lost my daddy when i was very young to.

Caroline: *Tiles her head* Was he killed by a scary monster to?

Stella: *Whispers* Oh yes, a very scary and mean monster, one that thought he could decide how the people should live and denied many their hopes and freedom. *Smiles* But don't worry, both are monsters are dead now, they can't hurt us or anyone else anymore.

This made Caroline smile before getting up with her kitten secured between her arms and went to open her front door.

INSIDE

Vanessa Rabbit was standing on a stool on the second floor, dusting some cobwebs on the ceiling when she heard her front door open and her daughter calling.

Caroline: *Looks inside* Mama? *Walks inside and sees her* Mama, Someone's here to see you.

Vanessa: *Turns and smiles down at her daughter* I'll be right th-

While trying to come down from her stool, she lost her balance and fell on the stair railing, which broke under her weight and she continues to fall.

Caroline: *Eyes Wide* MAMA!

Seeing her friend and former Maidservant in danger, Stella's magic reacted, causing her eyes to glow Emerald Green and surrounding Vanessa's body with a green aura that slowed down her fall until she gently landed on the floor unharmed.

Caroline: *drops her kitten and Runs to her mother* Mama, mama, are you alright?

Kitten: *Meows in Worry at the older female rabbit*

Vanessa: *Takes a moment to regain her bearings before turning to her daughter and smile at her reassuringly while patting her head* I'm fine Caroline dear, just fine.

Vanessa then spotted Stella from the corner of her eye and turned to looked at her better. When the magic broke Vanessa's fall, she could feel it wrap around her body like a safety blanket, a very familiar safety blanket she hasn't felt in over a decade. Knowing she can't use magic and her daughter even less, the only one

that could have was the strange woman standing at her door, smiling at her an all to familiar smile that was causing her to get teary eyed.

Vanessa: *Slowly gets up and walks to Stella, starring intently at her as if examinating her features for something familiar, before putting her hand on her cheek, crying* Morgan? Is that you Milady?

Stella's smile widen at Vanessa's correct guess and momentarily grasp the gentle hand of her former Maidservant, basking in familiar comfort before taking a step back, as her eyes and whole body glowed emerald green once more. When the glow of magic dissipated, a much different young woman stood before the Anthro rabbit and her child: No longer stood an elven woman, but a human one, with normal human ears and longer red hair instead of green hair. Her complexion was slightly paler, tho her eyes remain the same in color, and instead of the peasant outfit she was wearing moments ago, she now wears a long red gown with long white sleeves, a golden belt around her waist and her collar and hem are golden and decorated with red and green gemstones, with a large ruby at the center of her collar. This, this is Morgan le Fay Pendragon, daughter of the true, but tyrannical king of Camelot Uther Pendragon, who ruled this Kingdom with an iron fist before Merlin replaced him with the fake Arthur, robbing Morgan of her birthright and forcing her into a 10 year exile...

Morgan: Hello Vanessa, its been a very long time, i missed you...
