Chapter 3
A month had passed since enrolling into Yokai Academy. Strangely enough, not much has happened since the incident with Moka. Shirou was inwardly relieved about that. An S-Class vampire who enjoyed fighting was just asking for trouble. Thankfully, that little scuffle he had with her had allowed him to try and figure out more things about who he was and what he could do.
His magic circuits were almost like a muscle, operating off of some vague memories, but allowing him the use of magecraft that was quite useful. What memories he had of them allowed him to access the spells there, though they were quite limited. Adding that on top of his yojutsu was actually opening up more possibilities. He wasn't sure why, but it was almost as if he was able to access a greater variety now.
Still, no access to elemental magic, but he never really had any need for such things. Yojutsu and his magecraft was enough. He guessed that it was his secret heritage that allowed his use of magic related options to increase. It made sense, especially because it only happened after he entered the monster realm. That was the catalyst for his yokai side to awaken.
He held up his hand and looked at his pendant. It was a mirror, yet, he had a feeling it was a divine treasure of some kind. The voice that spoke to him when he fought Moka, told him that his bloodline was divine. Which, if that was the case, then that meant that he was far more than he imagined himself to be. At first, he thought that he was just a fox yokai, but now he was realizing that was only part of the puzzle.
He experimented with his powers over the last month, but he couldn't bring out anything substantial. Mizore was rather helpful and attempted to help him better understand how to control his power. He had a feeling that he'd need to do some more studying on yokai races and abilities before he attempted to try anything substantial. He hoped that he wouldn't need to be in a stressful situation to unlock more of his memories and powers, but looking back at everything, he had a feeling that he wouldn't be that lucky.
"This academy's goal is to train monsters to adapt to human society. So, starting today, everyone is going to enroll in club activities!" The teacher, Nekonome, said to them. "In order for your transformations to work, it's always better to understand humans and how they do things. One of these things, is clubs. We'll get a better understanding by following their example!" She finished excitedly.
Shirou raised a brow at that. He understood the target they were shooting for, but felt like this missed the point a bit. However, it wasn't like he had any power to change the school at the moment, so he knew he'd have to the part until he did have some say. Judging by Tsukune's face, he was sure that he already had an idea ready.
"Hear that Shirou? Why don't we join the same club so we can be together after school?" Mizore asked, appearing next to him and threading her fingers around his until they were holding hands. He noticed the small blush on her cheeks, causing him to smile a bit.
"Hey guys, do you want to come check out some clubs with us?" Tsukune asked, himself blushing from Moka who was standing with him. Shirou rubbed the back of his head as he looked at Mizore become a bit disheartened, before shaking his head.
"I think we're going to look for ourselves for a bit. Why don't we meet up after and see if there are any that seem like a good fit?" Shirou replied, knowing that Mizore wanted to be with him alone for awhile. Tsukune grinned at him, likely happy that he'd get some time alone with Moka. Though, Shirou noticed the gem on her rosary glow red for a moment, as Moka looked at him with a saddened expression. She almost seemed a bit disappointed he wasn't coming, before smiling again once Tsukune looked at her.
Shirou hummed to himself, wondering what that last bit was about, but decided to ask her when he saw her next. 'Preferably in private.' He sighed, before Mizore began to pull him towards the door. Club activities didn't really interest him that much, though Archery and Kendo were something he felt he could try.
"Shirou, do you think joining some clubs might help with your memories?" Mizore asked, her grip tightening a bit. Shirou gave her hand a reassuring squeeze.
"They'll come back eventually, Mizore. So, don't feel like you have to rush to get them back. If anything will help, it'd likely be just getting to spend time with you, my childhood friend." He said in a reassuring tone, though he was certain he saw her cheeks redden from his words. 'I wonder if she's embarrassed about asking me to marry her all that time ago?' He thought to himself.
'I wonder what my reply was?' He couldn't help but muse on the question as the pair continued to walk through the school and into the area where the clubs had all gathered together. He couldn't help but raise a brow at some of the clubs. 'Phantom Photography, Acupuncture Club, a Mummy Club, the only normal one sounds like the Chemistry Club, but it's clear those potions aren't all that safe.' He thought, as he Mizore passed them by.
He had to admit, spending time with Mizore was actually quite nice, even if the clubs they looked at all seemed like a bust. "Hey, Shirou, were you part of a club when you went to human school?" Mizore asked him, popping in another one of her lollipops as she did so.
"I was in the Archery Club until I enrolled here, and sometimes helped out the Kendo club. Though, I don't think I was all that passionate about either one, at least, not to the same level as the other members." He replied, remembering how he had only ever missed one shot while in the club. One shot that he already knew that he would miss.
"Well, perhaps we'll be able to find something you're passionate about this time?" She questioned in a slightly more upbeat tone than she normally used. It was enough to tell him that she really did want to make him happy. Ever since his dreams had been occurring more recently, he couldn't help but feel a sense of guilt about it though.
It was a feeling he immediately pushed down, but it was still there, and he could tell that Mizore had picked up on the few times it shined through. He shook his head, refocusing, before shooting Mizore a reassuring smile. "I'm sure we'll find something we both enjoy."
Mizore turned away, with Shirou noticing some red on the tips of her ears. She replied in a quiet and hushed tone, "I'll enjoy any club as long as we're together." Shirou couldn't stop the playful chuckle that escaped his lips, causing Mizore to look up at him with a pout.
The pair made it to the school fountain, a fair distance away from the rest of the club presenters, though there were still a student or two who were passing by. "Hey, did you hear Moka's joining the swimming club?" One of the asked, catching Shirou's attention.
"No way!? We better hurry over to the swim club as fast as we can!" The other said, before both began to run back towards the direction of the clubs.
"Swimming club? That doesn't make any sense. Vampires are weak to water they haven't fixed themselves." He said aloud, before thinking to himself. It didn't make any sense to him. Mizore seemed to understand what he was saying, sighing at his words.
As he was about to check on Moka and Tsukune, he caught two scents that gave him goosebumps for some reason. He paused, before looking at Mizore. "Mizore, can you go check on them for me? I have something I need to check on, but I'll join you as soon as I finish, alright?"
Mizore looked up at him with a puzzled expression, obviously thrown off by his suggestion. She quickly, but discreetly took a look around, the temperature dropping rather low as she did so. She didn't find anything, but it was clear that she was on edge now.
"I'll check on them and bring them here, so we can discuss clubs, okay?" She informed him, obviously trying to speak in a way to deter anyone who may be listening. She may have trusted him, but it was clear that he wasn't completely in control of his powers.
Considering the amount of yokai in the school, she may have assumed he would try to deal with the issue alone, so as not to bring harm to her. However, she wasn't going to let that happen. Unknown to Shirou, but she had trained since she was young to fight opponents of a high rank, solely to be able to stand by his side.
Shirou nodded, understanding what she wanted. "I'll be safe." He whispered to her, as he let go of her icy cold grip. A faint look of annoyance flashed across her features, as she turned around and began to head off.
She had already gotten quite far away by the time Shirou turned around towards the fountain. "Oh, that's quite cute. 'I'll be safe.' Surely you don't assume we are enemies, do you?" He heard the same slightly seductive voice he heard during his fight with Moka speak out. "We don't want to fight, dear, though maybe a nibble or two may not hurt." She continued, appearing sitting on the side of the fountain.
His eyes narrowed, seeing a petite girl with pale skin and short purple hair that reached down to her shoulders, with the bangs cut just above her eyes. Said eyes were a lustrous purple color, being rather unique when compared to anyone else's eyes he had seen. She was dressed in the yokai academy uniform, but wore a loose purple kimono with red designs over it.
Despite her petite size, he would be lying if he said that she wasn't beautiful and didn't possess a strange allure. He shook his head, feeling a little off. While she was attractive, he didn't get why he would think such a thing. Without another thought, he activated his circuits, immediately feeling whatever was effecting him flush out of his system.
'A charm effect? No, it felt a bit different from that.' "You may not be enemies, but I tend to trust my gut when it comes to my senses. And they tell me that you and your friend are bad news in one way or another." He replied to her, scanning the surrounding area for the source of the second scent. Though, he did notice the girl's eye slightly twitch at his words.
"Bad news? That's a bit harsh, dear. Also, I believe that 'friend' is too strong a word to describe her. More like, acquaintances whose goals just so happen to line up at the moment. Unfortunately for me, one of those things just so happens to be you." Shirou raised a brow at her words, causing her to let out a playful giggle. "Don't be so on edge. Other than taking a bite or two out of you, I simply wish to shake up your brain a bit."
The girl then uncrossed her legs and stood up from her spot on the fountain. "Can't say that sounds all that appealing, but if you insist, perhaps telling me your name would be enough to keep me from complaining too much?" The girl's eyes widened a bit, before a playful grin appeared on her face.
"What is it the humans like to say? All in good time?" Before he could say anything else, another girl showed up. Dressed in the school uniform, though with a few adjustments to it to make it more stylish. The fact that a few of the top buttons were undone and showed off a bit of her cleavage was enough to tell him that she was likely going to be a handful.
"I've finally arrived! It took awhile to get everything how I wanted, but in the end it was worth it. Don't I look stunning, Shirou?" She said, with Shirou getting a strange feeling from her. Then again, now that he thought about it, he was getting a similar feeling from both. The second girl really was rather beautiful, or stunning, as she said, with blonde brown long hair and golden eyes.
She appeared to be about a head shorter than he was, but she was definitely taller than the purple hair girl, and more well endowed, being rather curvy. Once again, he shook his head, channeling more magical energy into his circuits, feeling another effect slowly wash out. It was then that he noticed the second girl's eyes, feeling the magical energy flowing through them, as well as the slightly glow they possessed for a moment.
The first girl let out a small growl, before looking at the new arrival with a slightly annoyed expression. "We were just about to start you dunce! You just ruined the moment!"
The second girl simply rolled her eyes. "That's why I did it. You were trying to start without me. Besides, how do we even know this will work? What if it's a lot more simple than you're making it?" She said, before focusing in on him again. "Let's try this first." Just as she finished, two fox ears appeared on the top of her head, along with a fluffy fox tail.
He heard the first girl let out a sigh, before two horns that were the same color as her skin popped out of her forehead, though the tips of her horns seemed to be red in color. The two stood next to each other, causing Shirou to become a bit on edge, considering he was only one person. Then again, he fought Moka's vampire form, so he was feeling a bit confident in at least being able to fight them off.
As he was looking at the two, a sharp pain entered his brain, causing him to wince and hold a hand to his head. He bit back a groan, before shaking his head. It felt like static went through his mind, but also felt like something was pushing its way to the surface. By the time he recovered, he looked up and noticed both of the girls looking at him with inquisitive expressions, almost as if they were waiting for something.
After a moment of waiting, the second girl sighed, before reaching into the handbag that she was carrying. She then proceeded to pull out a katana. "I guess you were right. Well, we'll just have to do it your way then." She said in an annoyed voice, causing the first girl to smirk at her.
"Don't worry, dear. While this will definitely hurt, it's for your own good." The first girl added, before tying her kimono a bit tighter around her waist. Shirou still had no idea what they wanted or who they were, but he wasn't about to let the two of them beat him into the ground. Not to mention, one was an oni, which likely meant her taking bites out of him may have been literal. That was something he wanted to avoid.
The other girl, she didn't feel like a fox yokai. It was strange, he knew she was something, but he highly doubted that she was a legitimate kitsune or even a youko. The unknown nature of her species was something he was going to have to be wary of. "Trace on." He said, imagining the hammer of a gun firing off, before also grabbing his pendant and pulling it off.
The moment he did, his yoki swirled and his kitsune features appeared as the mirror floated a short distance behind him. The two girls both smiled rather dangerously at his transformation, which only caused his wariness to increase. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a talisman, activating it and causing the sword Irisviel gave to him to appear in its stead.
Without another word, the two burst forwards at incredible speed, one throwing a kick and the other using her sword. He parried the sword strike, allowing his mirror to shoot forward and protect him from the kick. 'I'm still not used to using it, but I'm getting the hang of it.' He thought, equating it to moving something with puppet strings, but without the strings. Needless to say, it was more intuitive than anything. 'But, intuitive I can work with.'
Mizore had a bad feeling about leaving Shirou behind, but hoped her words were enough to deter others long enough for her to check on their friends. Of course, that hope was immediately squashed when she arrived to the swimming club's pool. Honestly, it was as if Tsukune just attracted bad things to him.
Then again, she realized that he likely held a very human scent to the yokai whose senses were elevated. Which was likely why the mermaids were attempting to suck out his life energy and blood. Still, that wouldn't have been that bad. She could have just froze the pool and saved him. Then Moka had to be a dunce and throw herself into the pool.
It had the exact the effect she thought it would have. She was pretty sure she would have drowned from the pain and shocks she was receiving if it wasn't for her and the succubus girl, Kurumu, helping keep the mermaids away from the pair. Mizore wasn't sure why Kurumu was there, but she didn't really care at the moment.
The two of them held the mermaids off long enough for Tsukune to take off Moka's limiter. Neither her or Kurumu were all that excited to see the Inner Moka, but if it allowed the problem to get solved faster, Mizore was all for it.
Unfortunately, the water had managed to weaken Inner Moka enough that the pair had to help by fending off a few of the other mermaids. Then Moka proceeded to jump out of the pool, before kicking the mermaids in the face who thought they could take her outside of their domain. It was actually kind of impressive to see her blast through multiple airborne mermaids by using them as footholds to jump off of.
After it was done, she immediately ran towards Tsukune and Moka, just as Inner Moka slapped Tsukune. She didn't catch what she said to him, but she was pretty sure it had to do with the fact that Tsukune tried to check out a swimming club with Moka, whose weakness is water. She actually felt sorry for the innocent Moka, since it wasn't hard to see how such a thing could bother her mentally.
"Hey, you, Stalker Girl." She heard, causing her to focus on what she was doing, seeing Vampire Moka looking at her. She tossed the rosary over to her, before continuing. "Where's Shirou? Aren't you two supposed to be together?"
Mizore's eyes widened, before she nodded. "That's right, I was supposed to come check on everyone here, since Shirou was worried about the other you and water. But, he seemed a bit troubled by something, so I was going to try to hurry back to see if he needed help."
Moka's eyes narrowed, before the two of them felt a surge of Yoki. It was enough to tell Mizore that her suspicion was correct. Moka simply grinned, revealing her vampire fangs as she did so. "There you are, Shirou Emiya. I hope you're ready to satisfy me again." She said, causing Mizore to look at her with angry eyes, but Moka ignored it as she rushed away at high speed.
Mizore was actually surprised by the speed Moka showed, but decided to worry about it later. She looked over towards Tsukune and Kurumu. Kurumu seemed to be checking on him after his slap. "Watch over, Tsukune. And don't try to charm him again." She added the last bit just as she started to follow Moka back to Shirou's location.
Shirou's body shot straight into a nearby wall, creating a hole. "Ow. This is getting annoying." He said aloud, forcing himself to stand back up. The two girls were working together rather well, watching each other's blind spots and complimenting the other's fighting style.
It wasn't something he was used to, but he wasn't going to give up. He was able to keep up with the sword techniques, and his mirror was able to help him keep the other girl from caving his head in with kicks.
As he was making his way to his feet, he felt a familiar presence appear next to him. He looked up and saw Moka's vampire form looking down at him, smiling rather happily. "Shirou, it seems that you sure know how to treat a girl to a good time."
Shirou let out a small huff, as he continued to his feet. "If getting your butt kicked counts as a good time, then I'm definitely first date material." He replied, before focusing on the two in front of him, missing Moka's surprised expression from his reply. She shook her head, before letting out an amused huff.
"Hmm, they don't seem like low class weaklings. I shall accept your gift, though I still plan on having some fun with you, one on one." She finished, with the last part said in a low and slightly seductive voice. Her eyes even glowed a bit.
"Hey! You wait your turn you homewrecker! A being of the dark can yearn for the light all she wants, but we'll be the ones on the winning side in the end." The fox eared girl spoke rather earnestly. The oni girl looked at Moka with narrowed eyes, obviously identifying her as a threat, before a smirk appeared on her face.
"No need to worry about her. She's currently weakened from something. I'll deal with her real quick, then we can wrap this up." She said with a bloodthirsty grin on her face.
Moka smiled at her words, her aura radiated bloodlust. "I'll take that one, Shirou. Why don't we find out who finishes first? Try not to disappoint me too much." Moka said, before shooting towards the oni girl at frightening speed. Shirou let out a sigh, before he traced another sword to his off hand.
"Fine. Let's get this over with." He said to himself, before readying himself against the fox girl. He took a deep breath, before his magic circuits became visible on his body, creating a dull glow through his clothes. 'Her skill with that sword is too great.' He felt his reinforcement strengthen his body as he began to ready himself against the fox girl.
He quickly burst forward, his increased speed evidently catching her off guard, allowing him to nearly land a clean strike on her. She managed to step back in time to dodge, quickly throwing a strike of her own. However, Shirou already knew it was coming. He used his second sword to block her attack, before throwing a kick that managed to land and pushed her a fair distance away.
As it was, he could beat her. He charged again, engaging her with multiple sword strikes. Despite her high level of skill, Shirou's reinforcement allowed him to move faster than she could handle comfortably. It was clear that he had the edge in this duel, yet, he couldn't help but feel a strange sense of unease. Just as the feeling came through, he spun around and lifted his sword, managing to block another sword aimed at him.
'Another sword?! Can she freely manipulate it?' Shirou's eyes widened for a moment, before he quickly sidestepped, narrowly avoiding the girl's sword. However, she still managed to cut his arm. He could already feel the blood seeping down to his left hand. "Dang, I thought I had you there." The fox girl said with a sigh, as the second silver sword appeared behind her.
The swords should been enough to tell him who the girl was, but it was like something kept interfering every time he tried to get a read on them. Either way, he knew that they were superior to what he was currently using. In fact, the two swords felt similar to his mirror. They were likely magical objects. The only reason his swords weren't cut apart already was because of his reinforcement.
He tightened his grip on his swords, before deciding that he needed to try and finish this fight before her weapons destroyed his. "If you don't try to do something soon, you'll lose, you know that, right?" The girl said to him, causing him to look up at her with some surprise. "Well, I suppose even if you don't do anything, she'll likely be able to figure something out. Maybe if I cut you up enough, something may happen."
At this point, it seemed as if she was talking to herself. She thought to herself for a moment, before shrugging. She then looked back towards him with a serious expression and a scary grin. "I guess I won't find out until I do it." As she finished speaking, yoki seemed to swirl around her for a moment, before she shot forward. His eyes widened, before he leaned back, narrowly dodging getting cut in the face.
The second sword then shot forward, aiming for his leg. He brought a sword down to block the attack, while bringing his second sword up to parry another attack aimed for his chest, succeeding in keeping either attack from reaching him. Well, most of them, she speedily followed up the attacks by throwing a kick to his side that knocked the breath out of him.
Shirou quickly tried to recover, bringing his swords up to parry a few more strikes and delivering a few counter attacks, but it was clear that the girl was able to read his movements rather well. It was as if she was able to predict what he was going to do, making him second guess on what he was doing. She launched a flurry of sword strikes, manipulating the second sword to strike at him as she did so.
He was barely able to handle the attacks, gaining several cuts and scratches as he played defense. Even using his mirror to try and cover for him was only allowing him to keep from being injured significantly. 'If I get taken out, Moka will end up having to face her along with the Oni girl. In her weakened state...I can't let that happen.' He thought, using his mirror to strike the ground between him and the fox girl, allowing him to create some distance.
His swords were beginning to fall apart, and they were clearly not working against his opponent. 'I need a weapon, something that can let me fight her on equal ground. Ones better than she has.' He began to dig deep into his memories, searching for anything. He could feel his body summoning up more magical energy and even yoki. His mind then flashed to the memory of the fight he saw in his visions.
The fight in the wasteland of blades. Two swords stuck out, feeling like they were calling out. "Trace on." Immediately, he could feel his magic circuits wildly summoning up magical energy, with it appearing in his hands like arcs of lightning. His body began to emit a golden energy, pushing a barrier that he hadn't known was there. Several faces and names flashed through his mind. Rin, Sakura, Illya, Taiga, Archer, Lancer, and most importantly, Saber.
Flashes of a large fire began to flash like static in his mind, his body almost feeling like it was there. He grit his teeth and before feeling something in his hands, his previous swords already discarded. He tightened his grip, feeling the weight of the blades he had traced. Immediately, he felt as if he became lighter, but also, he knew how to use the swords in his hands.
'Noble Phantasms, weapons of a hero.' He thought, knowing what he had just called. The fox girl seemed stunned for a moment, looking at him with a wary expression. "Sorry, it took awhile, but you did distract me quite a bit." He said, calming down the energy surrounding him. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed another shadow next to where his tail was. 'Two? I had three when I first transformed.'
The only explanation he could think of was that he had no control the first time he transformed, meaning all of his yoki escaped at once, revealing three. However, it would seem that his body had to acclimate before he could summon three again. Still, the increase in strength he felt from the second tail was enough for now. His focus then went back to the girl, who looked at him, puzzled by his words.
He gestured towards her skirt with the white bladed sword in his right hand, Bakuya. The girl raised a brow, before looking down, seeing that her skirt was fully intact. However, it seemed she understood his meaning when her face reddened, causing her to place a hand down in the front. "Peaking under skirts is a naughty habit." She replied, though it seemed more teasing than malicious.
"Coming from the pervert, I'll take your word for it. Still, I'm not one to judge. If that's what you like, that's what you like." He said with a shrug and a small smirk. She frowned at his words, before standing up straight.
"I have my reasons for not wearing them! I'm not a pervert." She quickly said, before her sword flashed in front of her, blocking Kanshou, the black bladed sword Shirou summoned alongside Bakuya. Shirou quickly appeared, grabbing the deflected blade and throwing another attack that she quickly attempted to parry.
The swords collided, just as Shirou's mirror swept around and struck her in the side, knocking her off balance. Shirou quickly used the opening to attack, managing to hit her a few times, though he made sure not to hurt her too bad. Besides, he didn't want to cut her clothes off. With the increase in strength and his swords, he was definitely able to overpower her.
He knew that she had another card to play, but knew that she wouldn't use it for something like this. Just as he was going to charge forward, he stopped and brought his swords up, blocking a kick that actually almost caused his arms to buckle to a bit. He then felt a hand rub against his face, causing Shirou to push his swords outward, seeing that the oni girl was the one who kicked his blades.
Judging from her appearance, Moka wasn't as weakened as she first thought. Her outfit was dirty and he could already see where a few bruises were likely to form. He looked around, finally seeing Moka, her own appearance was rather roughed up. "It appears we'll have to retreat for now, my lord." The oni said to him in a soft, hypnotizing voice. The second girl looked at her puzzled, "The stalker girl is almost here, and I don't particularly like the cold."
"I didn't get to take a bite, but I'll just have to make do with this." She continued, as she brought her hand up, showing that she had wiped off the blood from the cuts on his face.
"That isn't yours to take, you annoying little oni." Moka said, standing next to him. The girl simply giggled and smiled as she licked the blood from her fingers, causing Moka's eye to twitch in annoyance. She was about to charge the pair, but Shirou stopped her.
"Will you two be coming after me again?" He asked, noticing the two look at each other for a moment, before looking at him and shrugging.
"Who knows, I guess you'll just have to wait and see." The oni girl said, before the pair turned. Shirou dismissed his swords, before sighing.
"It'd be nice to see you two again, especially after such a long time, Shuten and Suzuka." The pair stopped in their tracks, turning their heads to look at him. Shirou smirked, seeing their surprised expressions. He knew they'd likely be surprised, since he continued fighting when he could have simply stopped. He wondered what they wanted, but when he regained memories of his other life, he also regained a few from this one.
The pair likely wanted to try and help him regain his memory from before whatever blocked his yokai heritage. Which meant that the pair likely had answers to questions he had. Needless to say, he wanted to talk to them. They were with him since they were children, after all. Though, that didn't mean the pair weren't dangerous. Rather, Shuten was the dangerous one, for many reasons, so he'd have to watch himself.
He saw relief flash through their eyes, as well as happiness, but before they could speak further, a cold chill filled the area. Shirou turned and saw Mizore approaching with Tsukune and the succubus, Kurumu. He turned back, only to see the pair had disappeared. Shirou sighed, before he felt a hand tug at his clothes.
Moka pulled him towards her, looking directly into his eyes. "That wasn't a satisfying ending, Emiya. How do you plan on repaying me?" She asked, her eyes narrowing. Shirou simply sighed, already knowing that he had another dangerous girl he had to deal with now. 'One that might be just as bad as the other.' He thought with a wry smile, though it was clear that Moka was able to pick up on his thoughts.
"Fine, here, just take some, you troublesome vampire." He sighed, leaning his head over a bit, before feeling Moka bite into his neck. He had his blood sucked before, but he felt like Moka bit down a bit too hard. The fact he felt a shock throughout his body when she did was all the evidence he needed. When she finished, she wiped her mouth, before turning and grabbing the rosary that Mizore had for some reason.
"That will do for now. Next time, I hope you don't pawn me off to someone else like you did today, Shirou." She quickly said, before attaching the rosary, her form changing back and falling unconscious. Shirou could only shake his head, as he now had to deal with an upset Mizore, and whatever situation Tsukune was now in.
Done with this chapter. A huge storm came and messed with stuff where I live so it delayed this chapter. Not to mention issues with the site, but it seems fine now. Other chapters should be coming soon too. Anyways, this chapter was following the manga, but now I'm getting into Shirou's storyline that will be running along the main one. As you can see, Tsukune wasn't in this one all that much, because I want Shirou to have to deal with other things as well that aren't part of the main story. He's steadily regaining his memories and the mystery of his past, which will also lead to other things down the road. Shuten and Suzuka were my main picks because I thought it'd work pretty well since they were associated with the three monsters of Japan. Suzuka was associated with one, Shuten was one, and then there's Tamamo, which is represented with Shirou. These are different versions, technically, but I wanted to blend their fate versions with ones that could work in Rosario world. Shirou, Shuten, and Suzuka were together when they were young, they are the offspring of beings that are another faction, similar to the dark lords. Of course, it's more divine, rather than dark, but you get it. They have a name and I'll reveal it and their parents as the story goes on, but they definitely had a hand in stuff.
I also wanted to use Shuten and Suzuka because I really like them. Shuten is one of my favorite servants, and Suzuka is pretty cool in the Extra-verse. This chapter was mainly focused on them and Shirou, with most being kind of a fight with the canon in the background, but this is how I wanted to do it. Inner Moka was also in this, and while I didn't show her fight with Shuten, they'll definitely meet up again. There will be more stuff going and I want to move it kind of quicker than the manga does, but the student council stuff along with the student police. There's also the monstrel stuff and a lot of fun things that I'll have fun putting twists on. Tsukune will have to deal with certain arcs as Shirou's dealing with his own. Shuten and Suzuka did show up for a reason. I'll also be showing more of the real world and other places, like the snow woman village and a few other key places. The witch stuff, I have plans for, so there's also that.
Anyways, I hope this one came out well, I hope you all enjoyed reading it. It was fun to work on and I'll get into the newspaper club next chapter, with the start of a new arc. So, thanks once again, I appreciate all the support and reviews, they really help me out. If you have questions, feel free to ask, I try to answer what messages I get. I hope you all enjoyed this chapter, I really appreciate you reading and, as always, until next time.
