Gray fixed the crumples of his blue button up shirt as he stepped out of the car. Loke soon followed, still giggling to himself while he slid the keys into his pocket, and looked up at the restobar standing in front of them. On the top of the wide entrance showed the name of the establishment: Fairy Tail.
For the majority of the civilians, Fairy Tail was known as the Central itself, the heart of the island. However, only a few had an idea what truly was beyond its name―a group of people not only bound by a contract who shared the same interests and goals, but also had the responsibility of providing support for every member in any legal way.
A brotherhood.
Founded a hundred years ago by a Vermillion, Fairy Tail had passed three generations and was still running the fourth. It consisted of powerful and private families hailing from different parts of the country, with Tenroujima serving as their mainland. The association was run by the members' equal contribution, which were all used on separate businesses in and out of the island for the steady flow and continuous growth of Fairy Tail's wealth.
"Welcome to Fairy Tail!" the barmaid greeted as soon as the chime on the entrance rang, waving her hand to Gray and Loke who had just entered.
"Mira-chan! Long time no see!" Loke exclaimed in delight as they walked over the counter where Mirajane Strauss stood, looking classy with her long silver hair in gentle waves and a maroon dress that flowed until her ankles.
"How is Magnolia? I heard you're enjoying your bachelor life way too much in there," she gave him a teasing smile while she began working for the men's drinks as she had already memorized their favorites. Loke bashfully smiled, scratching the back of his head and chose to play innocent.
"What do you mean? I've been busy monitoring Fairy Tail's new building."
"Hmm. I heard it's near completion already."
"Yup! Just a little more work and we're finally gonna have our second headquarters! Man, I can't wait to transfer there. It's been a hassle crossing the ocean just to report here."
Mira giggled and put down two glasses on the counter. It caught Gray's attention who had been busy looking around. Since it was only late in the morning, there were not many customers and the establishment was opened as a restaurant. The warm and cozy atmosphere was completed by the slow music playing in the background at a low volume. There was only one couple sitting by the glass wall, two teenage girls on the other side, and a woman sitting alone on the far end corner with a laptop in front of her. Gray's eyes narrowed as he examined her four bundles of curled silver hair. He couldn't see her face as her back was facing him, but he felt like she was familiar. He had seen her somewhere else before.
"Here's your drink, guys."
Gray turned to Mira, the woman a few tables away was immediately forgotten. She smiled at him when their eyes met.
"How about you, Gray? How are you doing? You seem happier and blooming."
Loke suddenly bursted laughing, getting the attention of the two. Gray rolled his eyes, a vein throbbing on his temple. One more random laugh and he would really have his fist flying onto Loke's head.
"Oh, Mira-chan. You haven't seen Natsu!"
"Natsu?" Mira pressed a finger on her chin, tilting her head a little to the side. "Oh, right. He's back in Tenrou, but I heard he's been busier the past weeks."
Loke's lips behind his glass formed a smirk, not saying anything. Gray, who had gulped his drink in one shot, put the empty glass down as he wiped his lips with the back of his hand.
"I'm sure you know the reason why we're here, Mira-chan. Natsu is asking for a file regarding Sting Eucliff. We're in a hurry."
Mira raised an eyebrow. "He won't get it here himself? I was hoping to see him too."
"He's busy with his princess," Loke snickered. Gray rolled his eyes. "Actually, Gray has his own princess too waiting for him to be back in Crocus―"
"Can you shut up for once?" The dark haired male snapped, a blush spreading across his cheeks with a glare thrown at Loke's way. It only made the latter's smirk widen, a giggle coming from Mirajane.
"Alright. Let me get the file in the office and you two can go," Mira turned to go, leaving the two bicker about how asshole and insane Loke was for laughing out of nowhere, and Loke retorting he was just so happy to see his friends finally succeeding in the Love Department after years of devastating failures.
It didn't take Mira long to come back with a white folder, sliding it across the counter. Gray picked it up and examined the content for a short while until he was satisfied, sighing heavily.
"Does Natsu need any more help? I'm the one who prepared that file, and it seems like he needs additional security. Sting Eucliff isn't just an actor…"
Gray and Loke exchanged glances.
"Well, we've already offered him that but he declined."
Loke pushed his glasses up with his middle finger. "He reasoned it's a personal affair. Besides, Dragneels are supposedly out of this issue. It's just between Heartfilias and Eucliffe."
Mirajane's eyes widened upon hearing the name. "H-Heartfilias?"
Heartfilia, the only big name in Fiore's top five that wasn't a member of Fairy Tail. Despite having direct connections with the Vermillions, they refused a membership offer for an unknown reason.
"Haven't you watched the news? The Heiress was dragged into a scandal. She's in lockdown, pfft―"
Gray nudged Loke with his elbow, sending him a warning glare. "Natsu is in charge of her well-being while she stays here."
Mira nodded, getting lost in her thoughts. Dragneels getting involved meant it was a serious matter, but why would they be in the first place? It was even Natsu who was personally handling the situation when he should be in Alvarez and running their family's empire alongside his older brother. Why was he suddenly back in Tenrou? She had heard from Lisanna that he had no reason and any plan on returning, the reason why they broke up six years ago.
Obviously, it was because of Lucy Heartfilia. But what was his connection with her?
From staring at nowhere, Mira looked up and met Gray's eyes. He smiled at her as though he could read her thoughts. It was enough to give her an idea and her eyes widened.
A small smile soon formed on her lips, her deep blue eyes held a gentle spark. "I understand."
"Don't worry, Mira-chan. Even without the help of Fairy Tail, Natsu and Lucy will be fine." Loke stood from the stool and flattened his shirt, preparing to leave.
Gray nodded at her. "And please don't forget, Dragneels have their own private army."
LUCY HEARTFILIA
I was still in a frenzy when I walked out of the fitting room. I felt so sensitive that even with just his stares had my mind wandering in forbidden places. My throat felt dry, and every corner of my body tingled.
"Lucy, what do you think?"
I almost jumped in surprise when Cana appeared next to me, a wide grin plastered on her beautiful face. I pressed my lips in a grim line, preventing myself from voicing out any weird word. Kinana had already excused herself with the dresses I tried, and I hated that my cheeks started to heat up again at the sight of the blue one.
"Are you okay? Your cheeks are all red."
I stepped back, forcing a smile. Oh my god. I felt like Cana would be able to read what was running in my head!
"It's... It's great!" A gasp slipped past my lips, slightly flinching at the feel of Natsu's warm and rough hand on my back. "I mean, I'm going to take the white one…"
Cana clapped once, smiling from ear to ear. "That's nice to hear, though I would still be very much willing to make a custom dress for you. Maybe next time, then? For your wedding?"
Her eyes went from me to Natsu and back to me again. The grin she wore widened more at the sight of my reddened face. What was she saying? Wedding? I wasn't even in a relationship with him!
The thought made me feel like a bucket of cold water was splashed into my face.
Right. We're not in a relationship…so what was I doing?
"I'm just kidding," Cana winked at me. "Alright! Give me a few minutes. I'll check your dress out."
When Cana turned her back to leave, I took a glance at Natsu with furrowed eyebrows. The thought about our relationship still lingered in my head.
"Is there something on my face?"
"Aren't you going to look for a suit?" I voiced out instead. I…chickened out.
His lips rose up a bit. "I changed my mind. I remember I still have unused ones in my closet." He pulled me closer, crouching down to reach my ears. I pressed my hands against his chest to at least put a little distance between us, my knees starting to wobble again "I'm gonna visit my pad, Lucy. Wanna come?"
I clenched my fists on his shirt, his hearty chuckle made me want to just vanish in the air.
"I have never expected…"
Our attention was then caught by that familiar voice coming from the store's television. I turned to search for it, getting stunned at the sight of crying, vulnerable Yukino Agria being interviewed by the press. It was live footage.
"...that Sting would do that to me. I trusted him. I loved him so much…"
A shiver ran down my spine. The way Yukino stared at the camera made it look like she was staring directly at me. It was like she was talking to me. Unconsciously, I walked forward to hear everything more clearly despite Natsu's hold on my arm. I looked up as I watched her shed tears, letting the world know how betrayed she had felt. I swallowed the lump in my throat. I wasn't sure if her tears were true or it was just part of their plan to gain more sympathy.
"I tried to fight back…" Her lips trembled, more tears trailing down her cheeks. "I mean, I tried to fight for what we have. I did my best."
"Then, are you confirming that your relationship with him is officially over?"
"Yes."
"And the reason is? Is it true that he had an affair with the Heartfilia Heiress?"
Heat gathered in my cheeks from anger. I shook my head, trying to deny the shame and disappointment that began seeping through my skin. My side was trying their best to resolve this issue privately, so why was there suddenly an interview? Aquarius hadn't contacted me again, which meant they hadn't had any idea about this as well.
I watched how Yukino looked around her, fear and hesitation was clear on her face. It made the crease between my eyebrows deepen more.
"Don't be afraid, Yukino," one of the interviewers said, getting her attention. They were in a wide room with walls all white. She was sitting behind a long table with her manager and personal assistant, not minding the nonstop flashes of cameras in front of her. "You can tell us the truth. We're on your side. Heartfilia is a very powerful family, but with the media and people's attention all on you, I'm sure they won't do anything. We'll protect you."
Yukino slowly nodded, and looked at the camera again as she swallowed hard. "T-That's right. Lucy Heartfilia is his mistress. I know that they had been in a few projects together in the past, but I thought they're just close friends. I was so heartbroken. To be honest, I wanted to confront her first, but she already went into hiding."
She gasped sharply, the tip of her nose and cheeks were tainted red and her eyes were swollen. "So please, if you're watching, don't be a coward. Take accountability. Help me…and yourself."
Buzzes of whispers soon filled the conference room. My eyes blinked when the TV blacked out. Looking around, I found Cana on the counter with the remote. Pairs of eyes were also darted my way. They were not saying anything but the way they looked was full of judgment.
"Let's go." Natsu tugged on my hand, getting my attention, and pulled me out of Cana's store. "Your dress will be delivered to the mansion."
As soon as the door closed behind us, I stopped walking and held on to him with both of my hands. Tension was heavy on my shoulders, anxiety filled my chest.
"Natsu, there's something wrong with her. With Yukino!"
"Lucy, calm down―"
I shook my head rapidly. "It appears like she's being forced or something! Can't you see her face? Her hesitation? This sudden interview? She's reaching out to me! She needs my help!"
"We can't tell that yet. We need further investigation―"
"What?!" I pulled my hand away from him in frustration. "Do you hear yourself? She might be in danger and you still need investigation? This interview was probably her last straw! We need to move now!"
"How sure are you that it's not one of their schemes to bring you out? This isn't just about you, or their loveteam, or showbiz anymore. It's deeper than that―"
"I know it's because of my family! It won't be as serious as this at all if I'm not a Heartfilia, I know!"
I avoided Natsu's hand when he tried to reach for me and walked away, marching to the parking lot. I found our family car there with our driver and my new bodyguard instead of Gray and Loke. Taurus, the bodyguard Natsu had appointed for me, bowed a little before opening a door on the backseat. I was about to enter when Natsu caught my wrist, forcing me to turn to face him. I gritted my teeth.
"Lucy, please. Listen to me."
"Send Yukino security, Natsu."
He gasped, staring at me for a moment before he exhaled deeply. He pulled out his device and dialed someone. His eyes were intently watching me as he put the phone against his ear.
"Is your team still watching Yukino Agria?... Good. I'd like you to follow her and reveal yourself in private… Yes, call me as soon as you meet her. And make sure she's safe."
The call ended. Silence settled between us for a moment before I let my shoulders relax. Natsu pulled me and caged me in his arms.
"I'm sorry," I buried my face on his neck. "I'm just so worried. I have a strong feeling about this, Natsu…"
"It's okay. After we confirm the real situation, I'll send more men to guard her until everything's done."
Nodding once, I let my eyes close as I leaned more into his warmth. Despite my doubts about our relationship, I couldn't deny the comfort his arms and presence were giving me. I just wished it's always like this everyday.
Our peaceful silence was soon interrupted when his phone rang. Pulling away, we both looked down at his screen and was greeted by Gray's name. Our eyes met and he showed me a forced smile.
"I'm sorry, it seems like I won't be able to go home with you."
"I'm fine. Do what you need to do."
Natsu nodded and pulled me again to plant a kiss on my forehead. He then turned to Taurus. "Bring her home safely." Taking a few steps back, he watched me enter the car. "Lucy, I know you want to call Aquarius. Go get your phone in the third drawer next to my bed. You can use it only this time."
I rolled my eyes at him as Taurus closed the door, shaking my head at the sight of his smirk.
Feeling alone since Hanz, our driver, and Taurus remained silent on the front seats as we drove away, I leaned against the backseat and closed my eyes, my mind wandering back to my relationship with Natsu even if I didn't want to. What are we? Certainly not lovers, yet we're doing those kinds of things. He had always been asking if it was all fine, and would have no hesitation to back off if I told him to. It was on me. I was letting myself get consumed by his fire. But this wouldn't even start if he wasn't making the move, right?
So what are we?
I was drowning myself in those thoughts until we arrived at the mansion. I only snapped out of it when I saw Spetto walk out with a backpack, the rush was evident in her actions as she approached the gates half running. When she saw our car approaching, she stopped on the side and waited for me to fully roll down my window.
"What's going on, Spetto-san?"
The bridge of her nose and the corner of her eyes wrinkled. "I'm sorry, Lucy. But I really have to go home. Something happened and I'm needed there."
My eyebrows furrowed, watching the anxiety dance on her face. "Are you okay? Do you need any help―"
"No, thank you. It's fine, I can handle it," she forced a smile. "I have already informed Mr. Heartfilia. Don't worry, I'll be back after a few days."
I blinked at her, the thought that I would be alone with Natsu finally sank into my head. Oh, god.
I opened the car's door and stepped out, glancing at Hanz who's also looking at me through the rear view mirror. "Can you drive Spetto-san to her house, please?"
"Eh? Lucy?!"
Hanz nodded, smiling slightly. "Of course, Ms. Heartfilia."
Taurus stepped out of the passenger seat and opened the door wide enough for Spetto. I faced her, motioning her to enter the car. Instead of taking a cab and spending a fare, she should just take this offer, right? She could just save her money for a more important matter. A blush crept to her cheeks, a finger scratched her cheek.
"T-Thank you…"
"No problem. Take care!"
After they left, I walked to the mansion while Taurus remained outside with few of the other guards. Since Spetto would not be around, I thought of making something for our lunch after taking a bath. I needed to get myself occupied and busy.
"Aquarius…" I scrolled through my contacts until I found her name. I sat on the table, in front of me was a plate of a piece of pancake and a bottle of honey. Yes, a pancake for my lunch but who cares. My eyebrows furrowed as I chewed a slice slowly, getting impatient as Aquarius seemed to have no plan on answering my calls. After the first failed attempt, I redialed three more times and she wasn't really answering!
Groaning, I put my phone down on the table and just stuffed another slice of pancake into my mouth. I licked the honey that grazed the side of my lips. It wasn't long when the screen of my phone lit up, getting my attention as Levy's name appeared. With wide eyes, I quickly answered the call and put it on the loudspeaker.
"Where the hell are you?!" was her lovely greetings. "I've been calling you but you're always out of reach! Your tainted name is all over the showbiz news when you're not even a celebrity! And that Yukino, I want to break her face!"
I cringed at her loud voice. I looked around, making sure that I was alone because it would be embarrassing.
"Look, Levy-chan. Listen," I heaved out a sigh. "I think Yukino is being blackmailed or something."
"What? How can you tell? Don't tell me you've talked already since her interview was just a few hours ago."
"Actually, it's just a feeling. But a strong one. It will be confirmed later after Natsu comes back home."
"Wait, what? Natsu?"
My eyes blinked rapidly. I slowly brought my fork and knife down as I reached for a glass of water. Fuck. I shouldn't have mentioned his name!
"You're with him right now? I thought you―"
"Please, it's a long story."
"Make it short."
I shut my eyes close at her response. I knew I wouldn't be able to escape her now. I put my elbows on the table as my fingers massaged my temple. It was frustrating that I was trying my best to forget about this matter, but I guess I wouldn't really be able to run away from it.
"H-Honestly, I need your help. An advice…about my relationship with him. It's a little complicated and I need your opinion."
Her silence after that creeped me out. Biting my lip, I waited for her to respond. And when she finally did, I regretted not ending the call sooner.
"You two have sex?"
"No!"
"Not yet?"
"Damn you," I shoved another slice of pancake in my mouth. "What made you think of that?"
I was so sure all I talked about Natsu with her was how I hated him. And yet she was thinking this way?
"Just spill the beans. I'm getting impatient."
I rolled my eyes as if she's seeing me. "To make the story short, we're in each other's throats the first few days of our reunion, but now kissing has become a habit and touching is normal."
"Oh." I sighed as I ate the last slice of my pancake, and gulped down my glass of water. I stood up to wash the plates and utensils I used. "That will lead to more intoxicating acts, I'm telling you."
"And I want to ask for an advice how I could possibly avoid it―"
"No, you can't," she cut me off with certainty. "When you're under pleasure, you'll want nothing but more. You'll be able to avoid it only if you don't stay under the same roof or be in the same room. As long as you're together, it's impossible for you."
I swallowed hard. "I'm scared."
"Why?"
"Because I know…I can give him all of me. But what about him? I know everyone changes and it's been seven years, but I still can't get help but think he'll reject me again."
"So you think Natsu is just after pleasure? Your body?"
"N-No. It's not like that. It's… It's just I've always known he's not the type to get into commitment. And I don't want to settle with that."
I turned the faucet off and dried my hands with a pink towel. I walked back to the table and slumped myself back on my previous seat.
"Ah, so you're afraid he would never have plans of making your relationship official."
"T-That's right."
"Hmm… The only solution I can see is to confront him about it. You'll never know if you don't talk to him. Conversation is a key to healthy connection, right? Like you said, people change. What you knew about him and his relationships were all from seven years ago." I bit my lip. Confront Natsu? It's easier said than done! "As for the sexual tension between you, I suggest you just get along with it, Lu-chan. You're twenty-five and not experienced at that matter, so sexual frustration is normal. Release it."
My face flushed in embarrassment. "You know I'm a sentimental person, Levy-chan."
"That's the reason why I'm suggesting you talk to him! If he doesn't have plans on getting serious with your relationship, then tell him to keep his hands off you. Perhaps threaten him you'll cut his dick off." Shivers ran down my spine when she laughed evilly. "But to be honest, exploring without attachment is also fun."
I could imagine her smirking! What? Was she talking based on experience?
"To tell you frankly, you actually don't need advice because you already know what to do. You're smart, Lu-chan. I'm sure you've already thought of ways on your own. You just didn't have the courage to do it."
A breath got stuck in my throat.
"Why would you avoid him when you know you like what you two have, right? You know you have to talk to him but you're just scared. Question is, why would you be if it's for the peace of your mind? Has he never shown concern for you? Has he never cared for you? Haven't you ever seen the love in his eyes? You already know the answer."
Her words kept repeating in my head. I didn't even notice that the call had already ended. I just sat there, pinching the pad of my fingers as my heart raced awfully in my chest. I began thinking of ways how I would open it up to Natsu, and when I should do it. Should I confront him today? Or maybe tomorrow? Or maybe after all this issue ended? But taking it for a longer time would just drive me insane! Perhaps―
"Oh, so you're here."
I froze on my seat. My breathing stopped.
No fucking way he's here already.
"I first went to your room to check on you. I thought you're taking a nap."
My lips parted to exhale silently when he stood next to me. He reached for the bottle of honey I forgot to return in the cupboard.
"What did you eat for lunch?"
"P-Pancakes," I squeaked, making me want to slap myself. The way Natsu turned silent made me close my eyes. What's with this sudden tension?
"I'll cook. What do you want?" he asked after a while. My eyes widened as I looked at him when he went to the fridge to check our stocks. I stood up, shaking my head.
"I'm already full, Natsu. What about you? Haven't you eaten yet?"
"I have. But I can't let you eat only pancakes for lunch."
"I told you, I'm full. Let's just cook later."
I watched him raise an eyebrow as he turned to me. The beat of my heart went even crazier as he ran his eyes down my body. Wearing only a white loose cropped sleeveless shirt and black shorts, my feet in a bunny slippers, I suddenly felt so cold that I had to hug myself. I turned my body away from his gazes, ignoring the contrasting warmth in my face.
"W-What are you looking at?"
"Can't I look at you?" His deep chuckles brought me goosebumps. He placed the broccoli back in the fridge, leaning his shoulder against the door and crossed his arms over his chest, watching me with full attention. "You seem jumpy, Lucy. Is there something wrong? Don't tell me to forget what we did in the fitting room earlier because I won't."
I gasped at how straightforward he was. I pressed my legs together when a sexy smirk tugged on his lips. Sucking in a deep breath, I did my best to face him bravely as I made up my mind.
"Can we talk, Natsu? Seriously?"
"Sure."
I quickly stepped back when he stood straight and attempted to get closer to me. I raised my palms up at him, watching his eyes widen in disbelief as we both stopped moving.
"C-Can we at least keep our distance while we talk? I don't want you near me at the moment, please."
"What?" He looked dumbfounded and it's a pleasure to see. I walked away and went to the other side of the dining table to make sure he wouldn't be able to reach me. The moment our skin touched, it would be over. "Wow. You're making me feel like I have a contagious disease or something, Lucy."
My eyebrows furrowed. "It's because we both know you can't put your hands off of me and we won't even be able to talk properly!"
I was starting to get irritated when amusement danced in his dark eyes. For some reason, this annoyance was making me let all my thoughts out.
"What do you even want to talk about? Is it that important?"
I gaped at him. "Well, let me ask you. Do you have plans for us? Because it's starting to bother me that you can have your way with me whenever you want and I'm willing to give you anything I have, yet there's no assurance you'll ever get serious with me!"
A vein popped in my forehead when he smiled! Seemingly seeing my irritation, he pursed his lips and took a few steps around the table, so I moved away too! Did he think I didn't notice?
"I have plans, Lucy. A lot, actually. But I know your career is much more important to you, so that's what I've been focusing on as well."
My cheeks flushed. When Natsu attempted to move again, I moved away too. Now we're both at the ends of the rectangular table. Just a few large steps away from me was the entrance of the room. I eyed it for a while before bringing my attention back to him. His eyebrow raised.
"Hmm, it'll be very much my pleasure if you want to settle all this now."
The sound of my heartbeat was loud in my ears, it's almost deafening. The bravery that I had earlier when I was expecting a negative response from him melted in a blink of an eye. Now I couldn't look at him properly because I was sure my excitement mirrored in my eyes and I was too ashamed to show it to him, aside from the fact that I was feeling so small under his intense gazes. My mind had completely gone blank and all I needed right now was my alone time just so I could scream against my pillow or roll across my bed until my heart calmed down.
He had plans, yes. A lot, he said.
I cleared my throat. "Does that mean…you're my boyfriend now?"
The sound of his chuckles made my heart flutter. I felt giddy. "If you want to, of course."
"You're my boyfriend, then."
"Hm. I'm your boyfriend." We stared at each other for a moment. His tongue ran across his lower lip, his fingers running through his pink hair. I watched the strands fall messily on his forehead, some were sticking up in its own stylish way. He was so, so attractive. "Well, why don't you give your boyfriend a hug?"
I shook my head, biting my lip. "I need some alone time for myself. I can give you a hug later, Natsu."
"You can't be serious."
I dashed towards the exit of the room, screeching when Natsu also moved as if he was already expecting it. He was like a destructive force coming my way. I saw Taurus and one more guard enter the mansion, alerted by the noise, but the moment they saw me and Natsu wrapping around his arms around my waist from behind, they stopped and turned away to leave, ignoring my cries.
"No! Taurus, help me!" My laughter soon echoed when Natsu began tickling my side as he brought me back to the dining area. He then put me down, turned me around to face him, and lifted me up to make me sit on the edge of the table while he stood between my thighs. I rested my hands on his strong shoulders, staring at him with little tears in the corner of my eyes, and giggles escaping my lips.
"You're such a tease."
"I'm serious, though. I need to be alone."
"Why?"
"So you won't see me melting onto the floor or screaming against my pillow because you're now my boyfriend? That's embarrassing."
He laughed, even throwing his head back as his chest vibrated. I couldn't help but laugh too with more warmth spreading across my cheeks. I had never been this happy. I couldn't remember the last time I felt this way, something positively overwhelming that I wished for the time to stop and let me stay here in this moment forever.
There was still this smug smirk on his handsome face even when he calmed down, his eyes were attractively half-lidded as he scanned every corner of my face like I wasn't real. From my waist, his hands went up to cup my cheeks. A small smile formed on my lips, watching his eyebrows furrow and his own smile faded. I closed my eyes when he leaned closer, feeling his soft lips press against mine.
It had always felt like it was the first time. The way I still got those sparks whenever our skin touched, or the butterflies whenever our eyes met, I knew I would never get enough of him. I then realized, what I had felt for him years ago was nothing compared to how I was feeling for him at this moment. Before, I was able to move on. My pain and hatred because of how we ended was greater than my adoration for Natsu. I forgot about him. I had lived as though he never happened.
But this time around, I couldn't imagine myself losing him again.
I had my arms wrapped around his neck, my fingers finding interest to pull gently on his hair. His groans made my back arched, pressing myself against him. While our lips danced with each other, his hands let go of my cheeks as his arms wrapped around my body again. I could feel his one hand running up and down the length of my back, the other squeezed on my waist. Our gentle kisses turned into something with aggressive need as our tongue clashed, a bite and suction on my lower lip and he had me moaning. Not only my face or my chest felt hot, but my core too as he began grinding against me.
I pulled myself away, feeling drunk especially at the sight of his flushed cheeks and swollen lips. I couldn't help but place a hand on his jaw, my thumb reaching for his lower lip. One touch and he caught my finger between his teeth, his tongue lazily swirling the tip.
"Natsu… Why don't you make me scream against a pillow for a different reason?"
He took in a deep breath before he roughly pulled me off the table, his one hand grabbing a hold of my ass. I squeaked and wrapped my legs around his hips as he turned around to leave the room. My voice echoed in the hall, giggling at Natsu's sweet kisses around my neck while he climbed up the stairs. I couldn't help but bit on my lip at the feel of the metal lock of his belt brushing against my center. It was deliciously harsh against me, causing me to tilt my head up as I moaned.
I wasn't sure where we stopped when I heard him click a door open, as I was busy with innocent pleasure down there. My eyes opened only after I felt the soft mattress behind me, his scent filling my nose. We're in his room, dark and cold. He put something down the nightstand, but before I could look, he had caught my cheeks as he leaned down. The warm light coming from the lampshade was the only thing helping me see the desire in his eyes. I shivered both from the cold and the heated gazes he was giving me.
"I love how your lips and tongue taste like honey. I wonder how it would feel if honey coats your body too, as I kiss every part of you…"
My eyes widened.nThe smirk that started playing on his lips caused my heart to jump, excitement was whirling in the pit of my stomach. I squirmed, rubbing my legs together. I watched as Natsu pulled something hanging on the headboard. A white scarf. My cheeks flamed at the thought of him using it to tie me up, but I was surprised when he used it as my blindfold instead.
"Tell me if you're uncomfortable," he whispered. I shook my head. "Great. Now I want you to follow a few instructions."
I swallowed hard, getting aroused already at the feel of his knee in between my legs and hot breath fanning my parted lips.
"Put your hands under your pillow." I did what I was told. The painful thump of my heart was getting me insane in anticipation. "Don't remove it from there unless I say so, and don't make even a single noise, or else you'll go back to your room and sleep. Do you understand?"
"Y-Yes."
Natsu's lips were pressed on mine again. But what made my rational thoughts begin scattering away was his warm hands that slipped under my shirt. Its roughness felt good against my smooth skin, travelling north until he reached my underboob. I almost whined in protest when he suddenly halted on that part, having his thumb creating lazy circles there, but I managed to stop myself when I remembered his instruction. The feel of Natsu's small smirk against my lips pissed me off, so I bit on his lower lip. Groaning, he quickly unhooked my bra before ripping my thin shirt off in retaliation. I gasped as soon as my torso got exposed to cold air, goosebumps travelling through my body.
"I'll buy you a dozen if you behave."
I felt him leave for a moment. Because of my blindfold, I couldn't see what he was doing. All I could do was exhale sharply in shock when I felt a cold liquid that dropped on my collarbone, travelling down my mounds, until my stomach.
Chest heaving, I managed to ask, "W-What are you doing, Natsu?"
"First warning."
I immediately pressed my mouth shut, gritting my teeth. The pooling heat in between my legs was so hard to ignore that it only got worse when I felt Natsu's arms cage me, his tongue started licking the liquid off my body. I would have found the feeling of stickiness disgusting on my skin, but I was too turned on to even care.
My fists clenched against my pillow underneath. All my moans turned to heavy pants, arching my back as my head sank deeper into the pillow at the feel of his lips and tongue following the trail of what I guessed was honey down to my chest.
"Hng!" I bit hard on my lip when I nearly let out a moan the moment his hot mouth enveloped my sensitive peak. I tugged ruthlessly on my pillow, almost ripping it off.
Natsu pinned down my raising hips, his tongue kept on circling around a nipple. After making sure that there was no trace of honey left, he transferred to the other. I felt like my head was so light. Even if I wanted to see him, I was still thankful for this blindfold because I was sure I would lose my mind at the sight of the things he was planning to do with me. However, with my eyes closed, I felt much more sensitive. It was like my senses were heightened and it was all too much to take.
My lips parted when I felt his fingers tugged on the garter of my shorts, slowly pulling it down, along with the lace of my panties as his lips also travelled south.
I took a sharp inhale when he firmly held both my thighs and spread them open. He pushed it up, continuing on licking off the remaining honey on my stomach. My lips hung wide open the moment he reached me there, his thumbs stretching it apart to see all of me.
"Natsu!" I couldn't help it when the tip of his tongue made contact with my clit.
Not having my wrists tied up was more torturing, I thought. He literally granted me freedom, but forbade me to do anything.
"Second warning."
His tongue kept on teasing me there, while I felt a finger slide down and enter me. I tugged on my pillow, my nails still dug in my palms despite the fabric. The sounds of my erratic breathing filled the room, mixing with the noise from my wetness. Pleasure was crashing down upon me so harshly that I couldn't think of anything but the man in between my legs.
"N-Natsu! Please...remove this blindfold―"
"Last warning."
Fuck.
I tried my best to keep my mouth shut. The movement of his fingers sped up, the dance of his tongue was slowly sending me over the edge. Few more glides and touches, I found myself reaching the highest peak with my body trembling in so much euphoria, and soon let out a weak cry. I forced myself to open my eyes when Natsu removed the white scarf, allowing me to see the sexy smirk on his glistened lips.
"Do I have to go back to my room now and sleep?" I asked with my hoarse voice, remembering the forbidden sound I had made.
"Nah. The game's already over." Natsu wiped the sweat on my forehead, brushing the irritating strands of hair skicking on my face. I closed my eyes when he moved down to kiss me, making me taste my desires with a flavor of sweet honey. But what caught me off guard was the feel of a hot iron-steel that rested on my belly.
Bringing my hands up from under the pillow, he let my fingers traced his every fine line, dragging my nails all the way down until his proud erection. Natsu pulled himself away, looking down at hands with his jaw tightly clenched as I stroked him with care.
"Am I doing this right?"
"Faster."
Natsu shut his eyes, throwing his head back as I sped up, my hold on him tightened a bit. Watching his furrowed eyebrows, parted lips, and reddened cheeks, made another pool of heat swirl in my core. I could feel him throbbing against my palm, so hot, big, and hard.
"Enough...!" My eyes blinked when a pained growl rumbled through his throat after pulling my hand away, pinning my wrists on either side of my head. As I felt his tip kiss my entrance, the realization that we're really doing it slapped me.
"Lucy... Relax," Natsu watched me with his lazy eyes. I breathed deeply, trying to ease my tense shoulders.
"T-This is my first time, Natsu."
"I know. I won't hurt you."
He stared at me, probably searching for any hint of hesitation and regret on my face. Seemingly found nothing, he smiled, kissing my forehead as I felt him push himself in. Pain instantly coursed through me at the too much stretching of my walls and breakage of barrier. He was so thick that even with my natural lubrication, it wasn't enough.
"I'll be careful," he peppered me with kisses all around my face, while I was busy shedding small tears. "Feeling pain is normal, Lucy. Just relax."
He stopped midway to give me time to adjust. He buried his face on the junction of my neck and left shoulder, breathing was heavy. When he felt my tap on his back, he pushed all the way in, filling me up to the brim.
I held back a sob, more sweat forming on my forehead from the pain on my lower body. Natsu moved again, now slowly pulling himself out. Just when only the tip left in me, he slammed himself back in. I dragged my nails on his back with no care if it left a mark. I closed my eyes as he did it a few times, slow but heavy... Until I felt myself meeting him halfway with small pleasure started building up until it was blinding.
Natsu's faint groan made me open my eyes to stare at him. His chest up to his neck were all red, complimenting well with his tanned skin. His jaw was clenched, eyes were tightly closed. I could feel him doing his best to make it as gentle as possible. Someone like him was probably rough in bed. Seeing him holding me this gentle had my heart flying in bliss.
I did my best to keep up with him, moving my hips with a bit of strength, getting his full attention. I whined in protest when he got a firm hold of my hips and pinned it down, eyes now glaring at me.
"Don't."
Pleasure had taken over me completely to even listen. Ignoring his warning gazes, I still dared to move. I smiled at him weakly after hearing his curses. Shutting my eyes close, my hands gripped on the sheets when he rammed himself into me. Fast, deep, and with no restraints. I felt his lips press against my left ear with his heavy breathing, while his hand reached me down there, a finger found my ever sensitive nub, sending bolts of electricity in every corner of my body.
Along with his erratic breathing, the sounds of the bed creaking with our bodies colliding to reach a certain heavenly point filled my ears. Even with the fatigue slowly consuming me, the thought that I was doing it with him made it all worth it.
"Natsu! Mhn!" I wrapped my arms around his neck as I buried my face on his shoulder when I reached my second heights, screaming and clamping down around him while he released his own pleasure.
"Lucy…"
Our heavy breathing and violent heartbeats were the only music to my ears when we finished. The chilly air was harsh against our heated skin. I closed my eyes, feeling my mind in daze. Exhaustion consumed me that I couldn't tell if it's still a reality or already part of a dream. Either way, it's enough to send me into a deep slumber with his voice echoing in my ear.
"...I love you."
