After Chloe and Pete left, Lana, Zatanna, and Neville exchanged knowing looks and turned to Clarke and Harry with playful smiles.

"You know, there's one thing we've always wondered," Lana began, her eyes twinkling with mischief.

"Yeah, we all want to know who's faster," Neville added, clearly eager for the showdown.

Clarke and Harry looked at each other, their competitive spirits already ignited. "What do you say, Harry?" Clarke asked with a grin. "Ready to find out?"

"Absolutely," Harry replied, equally enthusiastic. "Let's do it."

They all headed out to the expansive fields behind the Kent Farm, where there was plenty of open space for the race. Lana, Zatanna, and Neville stood by to act as the unofficial referees.

"Alright, where do you want to start and finish?" Zatanna asked, stepping up to mark the starting point.

Clarke pointed to a distant tree on the far end of the field. "Let's start here and race to that tree and back."

"Got it," Harry said, positioning himself beside Clarke at the starting point.

"On your marks," Neville called out, raising his hand. "Get set, go!"

In an instant, Clarke and Harry took off, their feet barely touching the ground as they accelerated to incredible speeds. The wind whipped around them, and the world seemed to blur as they raced across the field.

Harry, powered by both the sun and ambient magic, found himself gaining a slight edge over Clarke, who was solely powered by the sun. The difference was subtle but noticeable. Harry reached the tree first, turned sharply, and sprinted back towards the starting point.

Clarke pushed himself harder, but Harry's combined powers gave him the advantage. As they approached the finish line, Harry crossed just a fraction of a second before Clarke, both of them coming to a stop and breathing heavily from the exertion.

"Looks like Harry's the winner," Lana declared, clapping and cheering.

"That was incredible," Zatanna added, clearly impressed. "You guys are both amazing."

Neville nodded in agreement. "Yeah, that was something else. Harry, you were just a bit faster."

Clarke, still catching his breath, grinned at Harry. "Well done, mate. Guess you had a little extra boost there."

Harry laughed and clapped Clarke on the back. "Thanks, Clarke. You were right there with me. We should definitely do this again."

As they made their way back to the farmhouse, the excitement of the race lingered in the air, a testament to their unique abilities and the fun of friendly competition.

Meanwhile, back at her home, Chloe Sullivan sat at her desk, her mind still buzzing from the day's events. She had always been curious and inquisitive, and her curiosity often led her to uncover the strange and unusual happenings in Smallville.

In front of her was her 'Wall of Weird'—a sprawling collection of newspaper clippings, photographs, and notes detailing the various unexplained events, odd occurrences, and mysterious phenomena that seemed to be a constant in their small town. Chloe had been meticulously gathering and organizing this information for years, driven by an insatiable need to uncover the truth.

She scanned the wall, her eyes lingering on some of the more recent additions. Reports of strange lights in the sky, unexplained accidents, and peculiar sightings filled the space. Each piece was a puzzle, and Chloe was determined to fit them all together.

Her thoughts drifted back to the Potters and their friends. There was something different about them, something she couldn't quite put her finger on. Their private school in Scotland, the way they seemed to have a close-knit bond, and the occasional odd comment that didn't quite add up—it all intrigued her.

"What's your secret?" Chloe muttered to herself, tapping a pen against her desk. She made a mental note to dig deeper into the background of the Potters and their mysterious school.

Chloe added a few more clippings to the wall, connecting them with red string to highlight potential patterns. The more she looked, the more convinced she became that there was something significant about the seemingly random events.

"Everything is connected," she whispered, her eyes narrowing in determination. "I just have to find the missing pieces."

She reached for her laptop, intending to do some more research, when a knock at the door interrupted her thoughts. Glancing at the clock, she realized it was late. Curious about who it could be, she got up and opened the door.

"Hey, Chloe," Pete said, standing there with a sheepish smile. "I was just passing by and thought I'd check in. You looked pretty deep in thought earlier."

Chloe smiled, stepping aside to let him in. "Thanks, Pete. I was just working on the Wall of Weird."

Pete glanced at the wall, shaking his head with a chuckle. "You're really dedicated to this, aren't you?"

"You have no idea," Chloe replied, her eyes sparkling with determination. "One day, I'll uncover the truth behind all of this. I just know it."

Pete nodded, admiring her persistence. "If anyone can do it, it's you, Chloe."

As they sat down to talk, Chloe felt a renewed sense of purpose. With friends like Pete by her side, she was confident that she would eventually unravel the mysteries of Smallville, no matter how deep they went.

In a cozy corner of the Potter household, Lily and Marlene gathered around Sera-Vex, their faces filled with gentle determination. Sera-Vex, still adjusting to the newfound magic within her, looked both curious and apprehensive.

"All right, Sera-Vex," Lily began with a reassuring smile. "Let's start with something simple. Focus on your breathing and try to feel the magic inside you."

Sera-Vex nodded hesitantly, closing her eyes and taking a deep breath. She could sense a faint, pulsating energy within her, unfamiliar yet strangely comforting.

"That's it," Marlene encouraged softly. "Now, imagine that energy as a gentle stream of light flowing through your body."

Sera-Vex concentrated, visualizing the magic as a shimmering current moving through her veins. Gradually, she felt a tingling sensation in her fingertips, a sign that she was connecting with her magical core.

Lily reached out, placing a hand on Sera-Vex's shoulder. "Now, try to channel that energy. Picture it forming into a small orb in your palm."

With a focused expression, Sera-Vex extended her hand, and to her surprise, a faint glimmer of light began to materialize. It hovered above her palm, fluctuating in intensity but holding steady.

"You're doing great, Sera-Vex," Marlene praised, her voice filled with pride. "Just keep practicing like this, and soon controlling your magic will feel like second nature."

Sera-Vex smiled tentatively, amazed at the progress she had made in such a short time. The support and guidance from Lily and Marlene were invaluable, easing her fears and boosting her confidence.

As the afternoon sun cast a warm glow through the windows, the three of them continued their practice, immersed in the quiet yet profound journey of unlocking Sera-Vex's magical abilities.

At the Kent Farm, the peaceful atmosphere was shattered by a sudden, piercing sound that reverberated through the air. Harry and Clarke, their Kryptonian senses finely attuned, immediately picked up on the signal's intensity. Neville, Lana, and Zatanna, though not privy to the nuances of their friends' heightened perceptions, could sense the gravity of the situation from the determined looks on Harry and Clarke's faces.

"What's happening, Harry?" Lana asked, her voice tinged with concern as she glanced between Harry and Clarke.

Clarke's brow furrowed as he honed in on the source of the signal. "It's coming from Reeves Dam, I'm sure of it. Something's not right."

Harry nodded in agreement, his mind racing with possibilities. "We need to go and check it out."

Meanwhile, at the Potter Farm, Sera-Vex had been engrossed in a discussion with Lily and Marlene when her Kryptonian senses abruptly zeroed in on the same screeching signal that Harry and Clarke were hearing. Her eyes widened in alarm as she excused herself hastily, leaving Lily and Marlene exchanging concerned glances.

"Sera-Vex, what's wrong?" Marlene called after her, worry etching lines on her face.

"I'm not sure, but I have to go find out," Sera-Vex replied urgently, her voice tense with the urgency of the situation. She dashed out into the cool winter air, the signal growing stronger and more dissonant with each step she took away from the house.

Standing in the open field, away from the confines of the Potter Farm, Sera-Vex's heightened senses locked onto the distant Reeves Dam. The screeching signal pierced through the stillness of the countryside, drawing her towards its source with an almost magnetic pull.

Back at the Kent Farm, Harry and Clarke exchanged a quick nod of understanding, their determination clear as they sprinted towards Reeves Dam.

Simultaneously, Sera-Vex reached the edge of the Potter Farm property. With each stride, her Kryptonian speed propelled her forward, closing the distance to Reeves Dam in record time. The urgency of the situation fueled her, pushing her limits as she raced towards the looming structure where the ominous signal emanated.

As Harry, Clarke, and Sera-Vex converged towards Reeves Dam from different directions, the urgency in the air was palpable. The screeching signal, which had disrupted their peaceful day, intensified as they approached the dam's edge. Harry and Clarke led the way, their Kryptonian senses guiding them unerringly towards the source.

Behind them, Neville, Lana, and Zatanna followed closely, aided by Zatanna's magic that hastened their journey. They could feel the tension radiating from Harry and Clarke, understanding that whatever awaited them at the dam was significant.

Simultaneously, Sera-Vex's swift movements brought her closer to the group. Her Kryptonian speed allowed her to cover the distance in record time, her thoughts racing with the possibilities of what the signal could mean for them.

As the three Kryptonians reached Reeves Dam, their eyes scanned the area for any signs of the source. The dam stood silent and imposing against the backdrop of the winter sky, its structure casting long shadows over the frozen ground.

Moments later, Lily, Marlene, James, and Sirius apparated to the scene, their arrival punctuating the urgency of the situation. They had sensed the disturbance through magical means, recognizing the significance of their children's involvement.

"Lily, what's going on?" James asked, his voice filled with concern as he took in the tense atmosphere.

Marlene exchanged a worried glance with Lily, her instincts as a mother and protector kicking into overdrive. "I'm not sure, but Sera-Vex seemed alarmed."

Sirius, ever the vigilant godfather, scanned the surroundings with a practiced eye. "We need to stay alert. This could be more than just a coincidence."

As the group gathered at Reeves Dam, their combined presence created a circle of support and determination. Harry, Clarke, and Sera-Vex stood at the forefront, their Kryptonian abilities heightened and ready for whatever challenge lay ahead.

The screeching signal continued unabated, echoing through the air with a haunting persistence.

"We need to find the source of that signal," Clarke said, his eyes narrowing in concentration.

Harry and Sera-Vex nodded in agreement. Together, they activated their X-ray vision, scanning through the water of the reservoir. The murky depths gradually gave way to a clear image of what lay beneath.

"There," Harry pointed, his voice tinged with excitement and urgency. "There's something down there."

Clarke and Sera-Vex focused their vision on the same spot. At the bottom of the reservoir, partially buried in silt, lay a sleek and advanced vessel. Its hull gleamed faintly, and emblazoned on its side was the unmistakable Crest of House El.

"It's a Kryptonian ship," Sera-Vex said, her voice a mix of awe and curiosity. "But how did it end up here?"

Clarke shook his head. "I don't know, but we need to investigate. This could be important."

Harry agreed. "Let's get down there and see what we can find."

Without hesitation, the three Kryptonians dove into the water. Their powerful strokes propelled them quickly to the bottom of the reservoir. As they approached the vessel, the details became clearer. It was a craft of sophisticated design, far more advanced than any Earth technology.

Working together, Harry, Clarke, and Sera-Vex used their combined strength to lift the vessel from its resting place in the silt. With careful coordination, they guided it upward through the water, ensuring it remained intact during the ascent.

As the vessel broke the surface of the reservoir, the others—Neville, Lana, Zatanna, Lily, Marlene, James, and Sirius—were waiting on the shore, their expressions a mix of awe and anticipation.

"That's incredible," Neville muttered, watching the sleek craft emerge from the water.

Zatanna's eyes widened with fascination. "This technology... it's beyond anything we've seen."

Lily and Marlene exchanged a look of concern and curiosity, while James and Sirius readied their wands, prepared for any potential threat.

Harry, Clarke, and Sera-Vex gently set the vessel down on the shore. Its metallic surface gleamed under the winter sunlight, the Crest of House El prominently displayed on its side.

"We found it at the bottom of the reservoir," Clarke explained, addressing the group. "It's a Kryptonian ship."

Sera-Vex nodded. "And it's emitting the distress signal we heard."

The group gathered around the vessel, their combined presence creating a circle of support and determination. The discovery of the ship had deepened the mystery of their Kryptonian heritage and promised to lead them to new revelations.

"We need to find a way inside," Harry said, stepping forward to examine the hatch.

As they worked to open the entrance, the sense of urgency remained. The vessel's presence in the reservoir, combined with the haunting signal, suggested that their journey was far from over. The answers they sought lay within the craft, waiting to be uncovered.

Clarke, using his knowledge of Kryptonian technology, carefully manipulated the symbols on the control panel. With a soft hiss, the hatch began to open, revealing the dimly lit interior of the vessel.

Everyone held their breath as the door fully opened. Inside, bathed in a soft, otherworldly glow, was a stasis chamber. Within it lay a girl, seemingly asleep, her features serene and untouched by time.

Sera-Vex gasped, her eyes widening in recognition. "It's Kara... Kara Zor-El," she whispered, her voice filled with awe and surprise. "Kal-El, this is your cousin."

Clarke stared at the girl, his expression a mix of shock and disbelief. "My cousin? I thought I was the only one who escaped Krypton's destruction."

Harry stepped forward, examining the stasis chamber. "It looks like she was sent here as well, but her ship must have crashed and ended up at the bottom of the reservoir."

Lily, Marlene, James, and Sirius approached cautiously, their wands ready but their expressions softening at the sight of the girl.

"We need to get her out of there and make sure she's alright," Lily said, her voice filled with concern.

Clarke, guided by Sera-Vex, activated the release mechanism on the stasis chamber. The lid slowly lifted, and the soft glow began to fade. Kara's eyes fluttered open, revealing her bright blue eyes as she took in her surroundings with confusion and wonder.

"Kara, it's alright," Sera-Vex said gently, stepping forward. "You're safe. This is Kal-El, your cousin, and these are our friends."

Kara blinked, her gaze shifting from Sera-Vex to Clarke, and then to the others. "Kal-El?" she repeated, her voice soft and filled with a mixture of relief and curiosity.

The confusion was evident in her eyes as she tried to reconcile the man standing before her with the baby she remembered. "But... the last time I saw Kal-El, he was just a baby," she said, her voice trembling slightly.

Sera-Vex stepped closer, placing a comforting hand on Kara's shoulder. "I know it's overwhelming, Kara. A lot of time has passed since then. You were in stasis for a long time. Kal-El grew up here on Earth."

Kara's eyes widened, and a smile of genuine relief and happiness spread across her face. "Sera-Vex," she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. "I can't believe you're alive."

Sera-Vex nodded, her own eyes glistening with tears. "I am, Kara. And I'm so glad to see you."

Kara embraced Sera-Vex tightly, drawing comfort from her presence. "I thought I'd lost everyone," she said, her voice muffled against Sera-Vex's shoulder.

Sera-Vex gently stroked Kara's hair, holding her close. "You're not alone, Kara. We're here now, and we'll face whatever comes together."

Kara pulled back slightly, her eyes filled with confusion and uncertainty. "I was sent to take care of baby Kal-El," she said, glancing at Clarke. "But now he's my age. I don't know what to do."

Sera-Vex offered her a reassuring smile. "Things didn't go as planned, but we can adapt. Kal-El has grown up here, and he'll help you adjust to life on Earth. You're not alone in this."

Clarke stepped forward, giving Kara a supportive nod. "We'll figure it out together, Kara. You don't have to go through this alone."

Lily stepped in, her voice calm and reassuring. "Let's carry on this discussion back at the Potter Farm. James, Sirius, can you hide Kara's craft for now? Marlene, could you ask the Kents to come to the Potter Farm as well?"

James and Sirius nodded, immediately moving to secure the vessel. Marlene apparated away to contact the Kents, ensuring everyone would gather at a safe location.

"Come on," Lily said, gently guiding Kara and the others. "We'll explain everything in a more comfortable setting."

With that, the group made their way back, ready to delve into the details of Kara's arrival and what it meant for all of them.

Once they reach the Potter Farm, Lily quickly informs Jonathan and Martha Kent about the events at Reeves Dam. She explains how Harry, Clarke, and Sera-Vex discovered a Kryptonian vessel at the bottom of the reservoir, which led to the awakening of Kara Zor-El, Kal-El's cousin.

Jonathan and Martha Kent approached Kara with warm smiles, their curiosity piqued after hearing Lily's explanation of the events at Reeves Dam. Kara looked up from her conversation with Sera-Vex, her expression a mix of uncertainty and hope.

"Hello, Kara," Jonathan greeted kindly. "It's a pleasure to meet you."

Martha stepped forward, extending her hand in greeting. "Welcome to our farm. We're glad you're safe."

Kara glanced between them, her gaze flickering with emotions she struggled to articulate. "Thank you," she murmured, taking Martha's hand briefly.

Jonathan and Martha exchanged a knowing glance, understanding the weight of all the revelations. Lily joined them, offering Kara a reassuring smile. "You're among friends here, Kara. We'll help you get settled."

Kara nodded gratefully, feeling a sense of relief wash over her amidst the unfamiliar surroundings. The events of the day had brought unexpected reunions and discoveries, weaving new threads into the tapestry of her life on Earth.

As they walked towards the farmhouse, Jonathan put a comforting hand on Kara's shoulder. "You're safe here, Kara. We're a family that looks out for each other."

With those words, Kara felt a sense of belonging she hadn't experienced since leaving Krypton. Surrounded by newfound allies and reconnecting with her cousin's family, she knew that her journey on Earth was just beginning.

Meanwhile, at Reeves Dam, Dr. Steven Hamilton arrived with a team of LuthorCorp scientists and security personnel. Known for his obsession with the meteor rocks found in Smallville and their potential to bestow powers, Hamilton was determined to find the source of the mysterious signal that had piqued his interest.

As he stepped out of his vehicle, Hamilton scowled, his eyes narrowing as he took in the silent, imposing structure of the dam. "There was definitely something here," he muttered to himself, frustration and determination etched across his face.

The LuthorCorp security team fanned out, methodically combing the area for any clues. Meanwhile, the scientists began setting up their sophisticated equipment, hoping to trace the signal's origin despite the apparent emptiness of the site.

Hamilton directed his team with an air of impatience. "Keep looking," he ordered sharply. "There has to be something. I don't believe a signal that strong could just vanish."

The scientists worked quickly, their instruments beeping and whirring as they scanned the surroundings. Data flashed on their screens, but nothing conclusive appeared. Hamilton's frustration grew with each passing minute, his mind racing with possibilities.

"Dr. Hamilton," one of the scientists called out, pointing to a readout. "We're picking up residual energy signatures, but they're fading fast. Whatever was here, it was powerful."

Hamilton's eyes gleamed with interest as he approached the device. "Residual energy? From what source?" he demanded.

The scientist shook his head. "It's hard to say, sir. The readings are unlike anything we've encountered before. It doesn't match any known meteor rock signatures."

Hamilton clenched his fists, his thoughts turning inward. "We need to get to the bottom of this. If there's something new out there, something more powerful than the meteor rocks, we have to find it."

As the team continued their fruitless search, the sense of mystery and anticipation lingered in the air. Unbeknownst to them, the answers they sought were already at the Potter Farm.

Back at the Potter Farm, the atmosphere was a mix of relief and curiosity. Inside the cozy farmhouse, Kara sat with the group, her confusion slowly giving way to a sense of belonging as she learned more about her new surroundings and the people who had taken in her family members.

Sera-Vex introduced Kara to everyone, taking special care to explain Harry's situation. "Kara, this is Harkel Lor-Zel, my son. He was adopted by Lily and James when he arrived on Earth, just like Kal-El was adopted by Jonathan and Martha."

Kara's eyes widened as she processed the information. "So, we're all connected," she said, her voice filled with wonder. "Different paths, but we all ended up here together."

Lily smiled warmly at Kara. "Yes, we're a family now. And we'll figure everything out together."

Kara smiled back at Lily, feeling a sense of warmth and acceptance. She then walked over to Harry, her steps tentative but hopeful. "Harkel," she addressed him softly, the name familiar yet strange on her lips.

Harry smiled gently at her. "You can call me Harry. It might take some getting used to, but that's the name I've gone by here on Earth."

Kara nodded, her expression softening. "Alright, Harry. I'll try."

Harry glanced over at Clarke and added, "And Kal-El goes by Clarke here. It's part of blending in and living among humans."

Clarke stepped forward, giving Kara an encouraging nod. "It's a bit of an adjustment, but you'll get the hang of it. We're here to help you."

Kara smiled, a mixture of relief and determination in her eyes. "Thank you. I'll do my best to adapt."

As they stood together, the bond between them grew stronger, their shared heritage and experiences forging a connection that transcended time and space. With their family by their side, they felt ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

Harry and Clarke began training Kara in using her Kryptonian powers, starting with her super strength and speed. They took turns demonstrating the abilities, offering tips and encouragement as Kara tested her newfound powers.

"Just focus on the target," Harry advised as Kara prepared to use her heat vision. "It can take some practice to get it right."

Kara nodded, concentrating on a distant rock. Her eyes glowed red, and a moment later, twin beams of heat vision shot out, striking the rock and causing it to sizzle and crack.

"Great job, Kara!" Clarke said, giving her an approving nod. "You're getting the hang of it."

Kara beamed at the praise but couldn't help noticing Harry's heat vision, which was a brilliant gold rather than the standard red. She was curious about the difference but too shy to ask directly.

"Alright, now let's work on flying," Harry suggested, giving Clarke a teasing grin. "Or at least, some of us will."

Kara giggled, catching on to the joke. "You can't fly yet, Clarke?" she asked, a playful twinkle in her eye.

Clarke rolled his eyes good-naturedly. "No, not yet. I'm working on it."

"Don't worry, Clarke," Harry chimed in, a mischievous smile on his face. "We'll get there eventually. Besides, you're great at other things."

Kara and Harry shared a laugh, enjoying the lighthearted moment. Despite the serious nature of their training, it felt good to have these moments of camaraderie and fun. Clarke joined in the laughter, shaking his head.

"Alright, alright," he said, grinning. "Let's see you two show off your flying skills then."

Harry and Kara exchanged a look before lifting off the ground effortlessly, hovering in the air with ease. Clarke watched them with a mix of pride and determination, knowing his time would come.

As the training continued, the bond between the three Kryptonians grew stronger. Kara felt more at home with each passing day, surrounded by family and friends who supported her. She knew she still had much to learn, but with Harry and Clarke by her side, she was ready to face any challenge.

As the Christmas break drew to a close, it was time for Harry, Neville, Lana, and Zatanna to return to Hogwarts. The past few days had been a whirlwind of discovery, training, and bonding, but now the young wizards had to shift their focus back to their studies and the challenges awaiting them at the magical school.

The morning of their departure was filled with a mix of excitement and a tinge of sadness. The Potters' home buzzed with activity as everyone prepared for the journey back to Hogwarts. Trunks were packed, wands were secured, and goodbyes were exchanged.

Kara stood with Clarke, Sera-Vex, and the Potters, watching as Harry, Neville, Lana, and Zatanna made their final preparations.

"Remember, we're just an owl away," Lily said, hugging Harry tightly. "If you need anything, don't hesitate to write."

Harry smiled, returning the embrace. "I will, Mum. Thanks for everything."

Neville, carrying his Mimbulus mimbletonia in one hand and his trunk in the other, gave Jonathan and Martha Kent a wave. "Thank you for having us," he said politely.

"Anytime, Neville," Martha replied warmly. "You're always welcome here."

Saying Goodbye*

Lana and Zatanna stood together, their eyes scanning the familiar surroundings one last time before they had to leave.

"This break was... incredible," Lana said, her voice filled with wonder. "I still can't believe everything that happened."

"Me neither," Zatanna agreed. "But it's back to reality now."

Kara approached Harry, giving him a warm smile. "Thank you for helping me," she said. "I'll keep practicing and getting stronger."

Harry nodded. "You're going to do great, Kara. And remember, you're not alone anymore."

Clarke clapped Harry on the shoulder. "Take care, Harry. We'll be keeping an eye out for news from Hogwarts."

Harry gave Clarke a grin. "I will. See you soon."

With final hugs and goodbyes exchanged, Harry, Neville, Lana, and Zatanna made their way to the Portkey that would take them to King's Cross Station. It was a well-worn broomstick, enchanted to transport them directly to the village near Hogwarts.

As they gathered around it, Harry took one last look at his family and friends, feeling a swell of gratitude and determination. They had faced so much together already, and he knew they could handle whatever lay ahead.

"Ready?" he asked, looking at his friends.

"Ready," they replied in unison.

In a blur of motion, the Portkey activated, and they found themselves standing at a secluded corner of King's Cross Station, designated for wizards to arrive discreetly without drawing attention from Muggles. The bustling platform was a stark contrast to the quiet of the Potter Farm, filled with students and their families saying their goodbyes.

"Back to the grind," Neville said with a smile, adjusting his grip on his plant.

Lana laughed. "And back to all the mysteries Hogwarts has to offer."

Zatanna flicked her wand, clearing the dust off her boots. "Let's make this term even better than the last."

With their trunks in tow, the group made their way towards Platform 9. As they crossed through the magical barrier, the sight of the scarlet Hogwarts Express filled them with a sense of anticipation and excitement.

On the platform, they spotted their friends gathered in a lively group. Hermione, Susan, Hannah, Daphne, Tracey, Pamela, Harley, and Tonks were all chatting animatedly. Tonks, who had spent the vacation with her boyfriend Cedric in England rather than coming back to Smallville, grinned widely when she saw them.

"Hey, there you are!" Hermione called out, waving.

Harry couldn't help but feel a twinge of annoyance at the sight of Tonks with Cedric, but he pushed it aside, focusing on the joy of being reunited with his friends.

"Missed you all," Harry said, giving Hermione a quick hug before turning to the others. "How was everyone's break?"

"Eventful," Susan replied with a smile. "But I'm glad to be back."

"Same here," Hannah added. "It's good to see everyone again."

Daphne and Tracey nodded in agreement, while Pamela and Harley shared a mischievous grin, clearly plotting something already.

Tonks ruffled Harry's hair playfully. "Didn't get into too much trouble without me, did you?"

Harry rolled his eyes, but couldn't suppress a smile. "Not as much as you, I'm sure."

With everyone reunited, they boarded the Hogwarts Express together, finding a large compartment where they could all sit. The chatter and laughter filled the space as they shared stories from their holidays and discussed their plans for the upcoming term.

The compartment was cozy, with the rhythmic clatter of the train on the tracks creating a soothing background. Hermione unrolled a parchment and began listing potential study sessions, much to the groans of the others.

"You really know how to kill the mood, Hermione," Daphne teased, though her eyes sparkled with amusement.

"Just trying to keep us on track," Hermione replied with a mock-serious expression. "The exams are only a few months away, you know."

Susan leaned back, stretching her arms. "We have plenty of time to worry about exams. Right now, I just want to enjoy the ride."

Pamela and Harley exchanged glances and then launched into a story about their escapades over the break, involving a prank on Pamela's brothers that had gone hilariously wrong. The compartment erupted in laughter, even drawing the attention of other students passing by.

Harry watched his friends, feeling a warmth spread through him. The camaraderie and support they shared were something he cherished deeply. The train sped on, the countryside whizzing past, a blur of white snow and dark trees.
