Hello! Here's chapter 3! I hope you all like it!

Three months later, it was getting closer and closer to Jasmine's due date. Ludwig and Jasmine were getting more excited than they already were. They couldn't wait to see and hold their baby boy! Jasmine smiled as she entered the nursery. The walls were light blue and the carpet was nice and soft. Jasmine sat in the rocking chair near the crib and looked around the room.

The white crib had a baby mobile with a plush Super Star, Mushroom, Blooper, and Goomba. Inside the crib was a baby blanket that Clawdia made for Luke. The blanket had soft, pastel colors. In the middle was a drawing of a Goomba wearing a crown. On the other side of the crib was a toy box filled with baby toys. Near the window was a rocking horse.

The rest of the room had a closet, dresser, bookshelf, and changing area. Jasmine smiled and rubbed her stomach.

"Any day now, Luke. We'll be able to meet soon. Your daddy is out in Serene Isles for a meeting. He'll be back later today." Jasmine said.

"Oh! How about I read you a book since we're in the nursery?" Jasmine got up and walked over to the bookshelf. She grabbed a book with a picture of a little Koopa Troopa on the front. She sat back down on the rocking chair and began to read the baby book.

As Jasmine read the book, she stopped when she felt a sharp pain in her stomach.

"Ow! W-What was that about?" Jasmine winced. The pain shortly went away and Jasmine took a deep breath.

"Maybe it was the baby moving around..." Jasmine sighed and went back to reading.

"Wow! I can't believe the baby's almost here!" Tiana, Iggy's wife, exclaimed.

"I know, right? I'm so excited!" Jasmine replied.

Jasmine was currently in the dining hall with her friends talking and laughing.

"I can't wait to spoil him just like with Tammy and Izzy!" Wendy giggled.

"Tammy won't stop asking when the baby will be here." Tiana said.

"Well, she and Izzy won't have to wait too long now." Jasmine chuckled.

As the girls talked more and drank tea, Jasmine shrieked, feeling another sharp pain in her stomach.

"Jasmine! Are you ok?" Wendy asked, rushing over to her sister-in-law.

"I-I think I'll be fine. The pain will probably go away fast like before." She replied.

As a few minutes went by, the pain didn't go away. It started to get worse.

"Ouch! Oh my gosh, it hurts!" Jasmine yelled.

"Tia, call the doctor! I'll call Ludwig and take Jasmine to their room!" Wendy said. Tiana nodded and quickly took out her phone, dialing a number.

In Serene Isles, Ludwig was walking out of Princess Summer's castle. He sighed, feeling glad that the meeting was finally over. He couldn't wait to head back to Darkland and see Jasmine. As he walked away from the castle, he felt his phone vibrating. Ludwig took out his phone and saw that Wendy was calling. Ludwig raised an eyebrow and answered the phone.

"Hello-"

"LUDWIG! GET HERE ASAP!" Ludwig almost dropped the phone as he heard his sister yelling.

"Wendy?! What's wrong?" He asked.

"Jasmine went into labor! You gotta get here now!" Wendy replied, making Ludwig gasp.

"A-Alright! I'm on my way!" Ludwig said and hung up. He looked around, trying to find the fastest way back to the Koopa Kingdom. Luckily, he saw a Warp Cannon near a palm tree.

Ludwig rushed over to the cannon and pressed a few buttons. When he was finished, he jumped inside of the cannon and flew into the air.

"Don't worry, Jas! I'm on my way!" He thought to himself.

Ludwig landed in the Koopa Kingdom and ran towards the castle. He burst open the doors and ran inside, seeing Wendy waiting for him.

"Where is she?" He asked.

"In your room. The doctor is on her way." Wendy replied. Ludwig nodded and ran to their bedroom.

When he arrived in the room, he saw Jasmine lying in the bed, wincing from the pain. Ludwig frowned and walked over to her. He held her hand and smiled softly at her.

"It's alright, honey. I'm here now." He whispered.

"Luddy! I'm so happy you made it." Jasmine smiled and held his hand. Jasmine felt another sharp pain and squeezed his hand tightly, making Ludwig wince.

"Y-You're in a lot of pain, huh?" He asked.

"No, Ludwig! I feel fantastic!" Jasmine replied. Ludwig couldn't help but chuckle at his wife's sarcasm.

"Hang on. Maybe this'll lessen the pain." Ludwig took out his wand and began to cast a healing spell, making most of the pain go away.

"Y-Yeah. It did help!" Jasmine smiled.

"I'm here, my queen!" The two heard a voice say. They looked towards the bedroom door and saw a female Koopa Troopa with short red hair, wearing a white coat, and carrying a medical bag entering the room.

"Oh my god, finally! What the heck took you so long?!" Jasmine exclaimed. Ludwig did his best to hold back a laugh.

"I apologize, your highness. Thankfully, I'm here now. So we can get started." The doctor replied. She closed the bedroom door and walked over to them.

"Oh this is so exciting! They're finally having their baby!" Wendy squealed.

"I wonder how long it'll be." Tiana said.

"I wanna see the baby!" Tammy said, bouncing up and down.

"You and your brother will soon, sweetie. Don't worry." Iggy chuckled.

"LUDWIG YOU IDIOT! THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!" They heard Jasmine scream, making everyone laugh.

"Oh man! I wish I could see the look on Ludwig's face right now! Hahaha!" Roy laughed.

"Ha yeah! I bet he's shaking so much!" Larry replied.

Everyone patiently waited another hour. Then, the doctor walked into the Great Hall where the others were waiting, smiling sweetly.

"The king and queen are ready for you all to meet the prince." She said before leaving.

Everyone cheered and made their way upstairs to Ludwig's and Jasmine's room. Ludwig heard them coming and walked out of the room.

"Who wants to meet him first?" Ludwig asked.

"Me! Me! I do!" Tammy said, raising her hand and jumping.

"Me!" Izzy said, copying his older sister.

Ludwig chuckled and picked up his now 4 and 2 year old niece and nephew. "Alright then. Let's go, you two."

Ludwig walked inside of the room and walked over to Jasmine. The children gasped and smiled as they saw the baby in her arms. The baby was Koopa, just like them. He looked exactly like Ludwig, but had black hair like Jasmine and a red shell.

"Baby!" Izzy said.

"Yep! This is your new cousin, Lucas." Ludwig replied.

"He's so tiny!" Tammy said.

Luke yawned and opened his eyes, looking around at everyone. Luke giggled and cooed, making Jasmine and Ludwig smile.

"Hi Luke!" Tammy greeted. Izzy waved at him. Luke giggled again.

"Aww. You love your cousins already, Lukey?" Jasmine asked.

Jasmine gasped while the others laughed as Luke made an annoyed face.

"Hahaha! I don't think he likes that name, Jasmine." Ludwig laughed.

Jasmine chuckled. "I guess not."

"Alright, you two. Let's go get the others." Ludwig said.

"Aww ok." Tammy frowned.

"Don't worry, Tammy. You can see Luke again later." Jasmine smiled. Tammy smiled back and waved goodbye to Luke.
