Happy birthday KakaAnko!
I do not own.
"What do you want for dinner?" Caesar asked Beverly.
"Oh anything." Beverly said.
"How about pizza?" Caesar offered.
"We already had pizza this week." Beverly answered.
"Oh, of course. Then tacos?" Caesar tried again.
"We always have tacos." Beverly said.
"Sushi?" Caesar asked.
"I don't feel like fish." Beverly shrugged.
"Thai? Indian? French? Peruvian?" Caesar was just naming anything that popped into his head now.
"Hmm, not really." Beverly wrinkled her brow.
"So… is there anything you would like?" He asked apprehensively.
"Oh, anything." She said offhandedly.
Caesar felt a headache coming on. "Ok, then I'm going to order some Chinese…"
"Oh anything but that…" Beverly said.
"Can… can you give me a hint what you'd like to eat?" Caesar started to sweat.
"I don't know. What do you want?" Beverly asked back.
Caesar felt his brain freeze up. He suddenly wasn't hungry anymore. "I… I don't know."
"Well, I'm ok with anything…" Beverly insisted.
"Except Chinese, sushi, tacos…" Caesar repeated.
"Oh… right. How about soup?" She said.
"Soup?" Caesar asked confused.
"Yes, soup." Beverly said.
"Like chicken noodle?" Caesar inquired.
"Well, I was thinking of clam chowder." She replied.
"New England or Manhattan?" He asked.
"Ummm…" She wrinkled her brow.
Caesar wanted to kick himself. He should have just ordered New England and called it a day. Then he had an idea. "Why don't we get each and you can have some of both?"
Beverly's eyes lit up. "That's a great idea! My boyfriend is so smart." She smiled proudly at him.
Suddenly, all the hassle was worth it. He returned her smile and picked his smart phone to put in an order online.

An hour later they were unpacking their order.
"Oooo, they both smell so good!" She exclaimed.
Caesar watched with satisfaction as she scooped two bowls. She handed him one as she added oyster crackers into hers. They ate while chatting about nothing. Soon the pleasant meal came to an end.
"After this, would you like to watch a movie?" Caesar asked as he started clearing the bowls.
"Sure." She agreed as she finished the last drop of her soup.
"What would you like to see?" He asked.
"Oh anything…" She replied.
Caesar grew pale. Here they go again.
Sorry for the short and lame dates. I guess I'm running out of steam. But I do want to wish you from the bottom of my heart a happy birthday and I hope you have another great year!
