I do not own.

Beverly wondered when they had gone on a date last. Caesar had been so busy lately that he barely was getting any sleep. The ironic part was even though they spent so much time together, they didn't really interact like a couple. She missed talking to him about anything but work. Right now, he was muttering to himself, glaring at the never-ending wires and screws in the new machine he was messing around with.

"Caesar, when will you finish this project?" She asked.

"Hmm?" He mumbled, not really paying attention.

"Will this be done soon?" She reiterated.

"Almost done. In another month or so." He answered absentmindedly. "Now why is this not working?"

"A month?" Beverly gaped at him.

"For something so complicated, that's the shortest timeframe we can complete it." He said. "But the way this is going it might take even longer. For some reason I can't get radial capacitor online even though the magnesium core is connected properly."

Beverly stared at him for a second before standing up. "Well, that's no good. Caesar, I want you to take a break tonight."

"Que?" He asked surprised. "But I wanted to check the schematics tonight to see if I missed…"

"Look, you've been working so hard, you need a break so you can see things with fresh eyes. I'm sure you'll be more productive afterwards." Beverly pointed out.

"Well…" He was uncertain.

"Don't worry, I'll plan everything. You just show up." She said confidently.

"All right." He agreed.

Beverly smiled and patted the side of his face before leaving.

Caesar tiredly rubbed his eyes. It was still not working no matter how much he changed the design. Maybe Meechum or Rylander can take a look at it but they were both off base at the moment. He tried one more time rerouting the energy core.

"Ok, time's up!" The door slid open and Beverly walked in.

"Already, but I just started…" He looked at the clock on the wall and gasped. He didn't realize it had gotten so late.

"Yup, come on." She pulled him up off the floor. "Change and we'll go out. Wear loose comfortable clothing."

"Like what?" He asked.

"Like sweats." She suggested.

"I don't have any sweats." He frowned as she pushed him down the hallway.

"Then anything you got." They arrived at his room. "Let's go. You have 5 minutes."

"5 minutes?" He asked incredulously.

"Is there an echo here? Hurry, go." She shoved him into his room.

"But…" He didn't get to finish as the door slid closed in his face.

Exactly five minutes later Caesar walked out.

"Are those your pajamas?" Beverly asked staring at his pants.

"It's the only lose comfortable clothing." He shrugged.

Beverly looked at the plaid pants and matching shirt. She made a quick decision. "It might work. Come on."

"Where are we going?" He asked as Beverly dragged him to the hanger.

"You'll see." She smirked.

Caesar suddenly felt nervous.

"What is this place?" Caesar asked Beverly as they pulled up to an ostentatious looking building.

"Spa!" Beverly said happily.

"Spa?" Caesar paled.

"There's that echo again." Beverly said happily. She handed the valet her car keys and got the receipt.

"I don't know what to do at a spa." Caesar said nervously.

"Silly, you don't do anything but relax." She giggled as she pulled him to the door.

Caesar dragged his feet as Beverly led him to the front desk. "I'm not sure…"

"Hi, two under Beverly Holiday." Beverly ignored Caesar's feeble protests.

"Ah, yes Miss Holiday follow me." The lady motioned for them to follow her.

Caesar was handed a robe and some towels and told to enter a room. "Wait, what am I supposed to do with these?"

A lady knocked on the door. "Sir, sir? Are you ready?" There was no answer. "Sir?"

There was a click of the lock and an eye appeared in a small crack. "I'm not sure if I did this right." Caesar whispered.

"You just need to put on the robe, sir." The lady said.

"Ok." Caesar came out with the robe on. The lady saw he still had on his pajama bottoms.

"Oh, well, whatever you're comfortable with." The lady said.

Caesar pulled the robe tighter around him. He walked with the lady into a room. He blinked as he saw the candles in the room. Beverly was already lying face down at a massage table. It looked like she was wearing nothing but a towel. He blushed profusely and looked away.

Beverly lifted her head and smiled. "Hey, quickly get on the table. We have an hour for a deep tissue massage."

"A what?" Caesar asked as he gingerly sat on the table. He watched as a large lady rubbed Beverly's bare back. Suddenly, he was pushed down onto the table. A muscle bounded man loomed over him. Caesar gulped as he was flipped onto his face.

"Relax." The masseuse said menacingly.

Caesar emitted a whimper as he felt large hands start pressing on his back. "Uh…" He protested weakly.

"You are too tense." The man commented as Caesar felt his muscles being tenderized.

"Doesn't that feel good?" Beverly sighed from next to him.

Caesar couldn't answer as pain shot through his entire body. So, this is what torture was like.

"I said relax." The masseuse ordered which made Caesar more tense. He was supposed to endure this for an hour?

Beverly bounced out of the room. "That was great! All that tension has melted away. How about you, Caesar?" She looked back to see a haggard looking man stumble out of the room.

"It was… different." He said.

"Oh, you'll love the next part." She assured him.

"There's more." He flinched.

"Of course." She laughed.

"I can't wait." He said grimly

Caesar sat as hot steam surrounded him,

"You'll feel better if you just use a towel." Beverly advised.

"No." He pulled the robe around him tighter. He was sweating profusely.

"They give you juice here. Try it. You need to stay hydrated." Beverly encouraged him.

Caesar looked dubiously at the glass of green liquid. He sniffed it before taking a sip. He almost spit it out.

"It's wheat grass with carrots, strawberries, blueberries, and tomatoes." She said cheerfully.

Did any of those even go together? He watched horrified as Beverly downed her glass.

"I'll just stick with the water." He said.

"It's a great detoxifier." She told him.

Caesar didn't know what that meant. "What does it detoxify?"

"Free radicals." Beverly answered.

Caesar was sure she was just making up words. He was starting to feel tired. His eyes were starting to close.

"Caesar! Wake up! You can't fall asleep in the steam room." An alarmed voice told him.

"Huh?" Caesar's blurry vision slowly cleared up. The big burly masseuse stood over him. He was sitting in a large armchair.

"You should drink more water." A worried Beverly said.

"Are we done?" Caesar asked tiredly.

"Yes sir. We hope you've enjoyed your experience at our facilities." The lady said cheerfully.

"I'm not sure I'd say that." Caesar mumbled.

He was ushered back into his room to get dressed.

He was standing in the lobby in two minutes waiting for Beverly.

She came out glowing. They walked outside and waited for the valet to pull the car up. As they got in, Caesar tiredly got into the passenger seat. Beverly got into the driver's seat. They wordlessly drove down the dark highway back to Providence. Caesar's eyes grew heavy again and soon he found himself dozing.

When he startled awake, he found the car pulled over an observation post.

"Hey sleepyhead." Beverly said softly. "Feeling better?"

"Actually, I am." Caesar stretched. "My back isn't tight anymore."

"Yeah, sometimes you have to endure some pain to get to the good part." Beverly laughed.

"I suppose so." He agreed.

"I have some empanadas in the warmer and some soda in the cooler." She offered.

"Thank you." He accepted both gladly.

"You're welcome." She smiled.

They sat in comfortable silence looking out at the stars.

"You're right. Now that I've taken a break, I realize what I'm doing wrong with the wiring." Caesar finally spoke. "Gracias, bonita."

Beverly blushed, glad that it was dark. "So shall we go home so you can work on it.

"I think it can wait a few more minutes." Caesar said firmly. Unbuckling his seatbelt, he leaned over and kissed her.

Beverly cupped her hands around his face and pulled him closer as the stars twinkled above them.
