After hearing the big news that their parents gave them yesterday, Lincoln and Lucy were super excited to be having a new baby sibling added to their family. It reminded them a little of how they were ones to usually take care of Lily while they were living with the Louds, but at least, they hope this time will be different. They would definitely have a lot of fun with their new little siblings. Unfortunately though, since Lois was under pregnancy at the moment, that means that they would have to take care of her for now.

And this meant taking care of her cravings.

At the moment, the kids and their father were at the supermarket, doing some grocery shopping for Lois since her cravings were coming in. Their father saved up a lot of money, only to stock up on Peanut Butter and Pickles.

Fortunately, Bruce Wayne and his son Damian were sticking around to help out. As fast as he was, even Clark couldn't be in two places at once. It was nice to have an extra set of hands. And while they were shopping, Lucy was trying to have a bit of a conversation with Damian.

"I almost envy you had grown up." She said to him while they walking through the isles. "Trained to be an assassin, an heir to the cowl-"

"I was also trained not to speak of these things in public." Damian said in his ever stoic-voice.

"Sorry. I'm honestly just very excited to be with you." Lucy replied.

Damian gave her a look, seeing how expressionless she was before looking towards Lincoln.

"Trust me. She is pretty excited." Lincoln said, and Damian shrugged it off.

Their attention turned to Clark and Bruce as the former of the two was carrying a basket of groceries.

"Got everything here. We should head back to Lois soon." Clark said.

"Agreed." Bruce replied. "Then, of course, there are other matters we have to discuss."

"Is really now the best time to bring it up?" Clark asked.

"It's about what we talked about during the last meeting."

The kids were curious as to what they were talking about, since it involved superhero stuff. But they would remain curious as Clark and Bruce did not speak another word about it on the way home.

When they got back to the apartment, Clark wasted no time giving his wife what he needed as she almost immediately snatched the peanut butter and pickles from him.

Clark held back a laugh as he saw Lois dip a pickle into the peanut butter jar and take a bite out of it.

"Well, I guess I got you everything that was needed." He said to her, and Lois replied. "Yeah. I'm all good now. Thanks."

Lincoln looked to Lucy and Damian and stuck his tongue out in cringe. Sourcrout, he understood, but pickles with peanut butter? He wasn't sure he could stomach that. Lucy and Damian had small smiles of amusement from Lincoln's reaction. As Bruce and Clark finished putting other things away, Lois brought something up. Though, she was a bit afraid as to how her husband and kids would react.

"You know...ever since we learned about the pregnancy...there was something I wanted to talk to you about for a while." She said to Clark.

"Sure, what is it, honey?" Clark asked.

"You know how my father retired about a few years ago?" She said as she turned to her kids. "My father, General Sam Lane, your grandfather. He made his career off the military."

"Our grandpa?" Lincoln asked

"Yeah. Sam." Their father added. "I owe him a favor or two. He wasn't really crazy with my marriage to your mother."

Lois cleared her throat when her husband blurted that out. "Ahem...Anyway, he retired a few years ago and settled in Michigan...in Royal Woods. I was thinking that maybe we could see him."

"...Back to Royal Woods?" Their son asked with a hint of concern in his voice, concern that he and his sister shared.

"I know you two ran away from there, and I still hate the Louds for how they treated you...but that shouldn't have to bother you now. We'll...try to avoid them, if you like. I just want to see my father about all this."

Clark then faced his kids and said "If the two of you are not okay with this, then you don't have to come along. I'm sure Bruce here can look after the two."

"Add it to the list of favors you owe me." Bruce replied.

All this was a lot to take in, and both Lincoln and Lucy had mixed thoughts about going back to Royal Woods after the treatment they got from their family, and how they've been lied to about their real parents. But then again, they've left a lot of things before, their friends, a lot of things they cherished...

"...I did leave Fangs behind." Lucy admitted before facing her brother. "And Charles probably misses you, Linc."

Lincoln then said "I guess it wouldn't hurt to go see how things are back over there."

That did put a smile on Lois' face as she said to them "Thank you, Kids. I promise you'll love meeting your grandfather. Believe it or not, he was an old friend of your adoptive grandfather, Albert Loud."

Now that definitely surprised them. It would seem that even their Pop-Pop had a few secrets that they didn't know about. They would definitely have to talk to him about that. They certainly wanted to go back now after hearing all that.

"If it's alright with you, I'll arrange for your trip myself." Bruce said so suddenly."

Clark started saying "Oh, you don't have to do that, Bruce."

"Oh, I insist." Bruce replied. "I want to come along. We still have that thing to talk about to talk about."

The "thing" that both Clark and Bruce were keeping a secret from everyone was a matter from the Justice League...about the reformation of the Titans.

Meanwhile, back in Royal Woods, the Louds were not doing so well ever since Lincoln and Lucy had run to Metropolis in search of their biological parents. The way things worked around the house was not in disarray without two of its respected members. Without Lincoln to help out with most of what they needed to do, the sisters could barely figure out anything, and they were really beginning to miss Lucy and her gothic ways.

The one who was taking it the hardest was Lynn. A part of her blames herself for them leaving, she was often the one who treated them the most unfairly. She could how greatly their departure had affected the rest of the family, even the pets. Fangs hardly left the side of the room that belonged to Lucy, hissing whenever someone came close, and Charles, along with the other household pets shacked up in Lincoln's old bedroom, which she began to realize how small it was for him.

Though she never admitted it, she felt as if she was taking it the hardest for the harsh treatment she bestowed upon them. She may have never taken to Lucy's black-and-white way of life, but the way she treated her brother was just her way of showing love...Maybe she never really showed that as much as she wanted to.

"Oh, Lincoln..." Lynn whimpered. "Lucy...I'm sorry." She took a look at the baseball bat she cherished and remembered the worst time she treated Lincoln so horribly. She nearly lost her brother than...and she's lost him now. Taking the back, she broke it over her knee and threw its remains out the window. Looking out to the night sky, there was only one thing on mind.

"Lincoln, Lucy...if you're out there somewhere...I just really want you to know that I'm sorry...I'd do anything to get you back..."
