Nighttime at the Coconut Mall.
"Closing time! The happiest time of the day!" Exclaimed the yellow male Pianta at the front of the mall, clapping his hands to signify that the entire mall was closing for the day.
Toadette sniffled as tears were filling in her eyes, walking out with a plain hamburger as she whined, "Closing time... the saddest part of the day!" She began crying loudly as she ate her burger, trying to let the greasy food settle her brief depression.
The Pianta watched as Toadette left while sobbing and eating, shaking his head as he folded his stubby arms together, scoffing. "Pfft. What a baby."
As hordes of random Miis, Nokis, and Piantas left the mall in troves, Mario and Luigi watched from the sandy beach, behind the red and white barriers as they looked at each other.
"Willing to see who can knock each other out as soon as everyone leaves?" Mario suggested, sipping some coffee as he let out a refreshed sigh.
Luigi nodded as he twirled his plain bagel in his right hand. "You know I'm there." He then bit into the bagel, munching it with pleasure.
Wario and Waluigi both sighed as they were in the middle of the Coconut Mall, sitting on the northern border of the fountain as they looked up at the dark starry night sky.
"You know, sometimes I like to take the time to appreciate how vast and beautiful this stupid mall is," Waluigi remarked as he held a bright red rose in his left hand.
Wario nodded, his arms wrapped around the back of his head as he glanced at Waluigi. "Yeah. For how common this course is online, it's actually pretty nice when no one's on it."
The two both chuckled as they continued to appreciate the mall's sudden quiet nature, with some of the Pianta cops wondering if they should kick the Wario Bros out or not.
With nighttime arriving at the Coconut Mall, the many visitors and tourists attempted to leave as they were in the congested parking lot, with none of them being able to get out as they all began complaining. Toadsworth, who was getting some pills for himself, simply stood close to the sidewalk as he watched cars come into collision with each other.
"Hooligans... they can't even have the courtesy to wait..." Toadsworth mumbled as he shook his head in disgust, continuing to walk eastward towards his car, the golden Parade Kart from Double Dash.
