Coconut Mall was full of racers, all of them simply being Miis this time as they were pretty commonly seen, with Luigi and Toadette watching from the donut shop that was near the staircase leading to the rooftop.
"You know what I don't like-a about this place?" Luigi commented as he gobbled his plain donut.
"What?" Toadette asked, in the process of munching on her third strawberry donut, being the food lover that she was.
Luigi shook his head as he grumbled, folding his arms together as he pouted. "There's too many Miis racing-a here. Why can't we have some variety in racers for once?"
Toadette burped loudly accidental as she slightly blushed, excusing herself as she placed her right hand over her mouth, moving it around afterwards. "Because this is a fanfic, and we can't have nice things in that."
Luigi scoffed as he folded his arms together. "Oh yeah? Well, I like to see about that. Who's responsible for this nonsense?"
While Luigi waited for an answer, one of the Mii racers went swerving off course, colliding into Luigi and knocking him down. Luigi groaned, only to be arrested by King Bob-omb and Goomboss, who were strangely hiding in the orange colored plant vases nearby for no reason.
"Thought we forgot all about you, didn't ya green and lean?" King Bob-omb stated as he handcuffed Luigi.
"Yeah! We're like a hurricane! You never know when to expect us!" Goomboss added.
Luigi sighed in annoyance as he was dragged off to jail by the two bosses, with Toadette shrugging as she kept on eating her sweet strawberry donut.
