The Coconut Mall racetrack was looking bright, vibrant, and shiny as usual as Birdo and Silver The Hedgehog were walking together in the parking lot, with there not being much racing as it was held off today.
"You know, this race course sure is roomy." Silver commented as he had his arms wrapped around the back of his head, turning to Birdo. "How is it that Nintendo can create so many race courses with a lot of room?"
"Because they tried their hardest to fit as many people onto the race course." Birdo explained as she rolled her hands, turning her head to Silver. "It's not that hard considering that they're going with the blue ocean strategy."
"...Blue ocean?" Silver responded as he squinted his eyes, not understanding.
Birdo sighed as she placed both of her hands on Silver's shoulders. "It's Nintendo's way of trying to get all the people who don't really play games. Granted, it did more harm than help since it made most of their fanbases angry, but that is what happens when you try to appeal to a certain demographic..."
"Oh." Silver responded as he frowned, shaking his head. "I don't really like business talk. It messes with my head."
Birdo sighed as she and Silver headed onto the beach, with the topic shifting to something else entirely unrelated.
