Waluigi entered his taco stand, which still barely had any customers. He opened the door to find nothing but plates of uneaten tacos everywhere. He sighed, shaking his head as he stood behind his yellow counter, placing on the open sign as he began waiting.
"Yep. Another day of doing absolutely nothing but just standing here." Waluigi muttered as he sighed, placing his right hand on his face. "Oh joy."
Toadette skipped over to the taco stand, being the first customer Waluigi has seen in days. "Oh hey, Wally! Things seem a bit quite here, huh?"
Waluigi rolled his eyes as he turned to Toadette. "Well gee, I wonder why."
Toadette giggled as she clapped her hands together. "Oh, don't feel so down in the dumps, you big silly!" She placed her hands behind her back. "I'm sure if you just believe in something, maybe good luck will come your way!"
Waluigi scoffed at the notion as he tossed his arms in the air. "Pah! Why bother? Something stupid is going to happen to be regardless! I always have bad luck and bullshit happen to me! I'm Waluigi!"
As if on cue, the entire taco stand collapsed on Waluigi, crushing him and all of the tacos. Toadette blinked in astonishment as she whistled, backing away from the taco stand as she resumed her walk around Seaside Hill.
Waluigi was eating some of his delicious hot tacos as he was thinking to himself, with it being quiet.
"You know... I might have realized this earlier at some point and it begs to be repeated since time is an endless loop, but it seems like the reason I'm so cranky is because no one ever thanks me for anything, let alone something. If I just got some acknowledgement for things that people take for granted, then perhaps I wouldn't be such a butthead to everything."
"...That must have taken alotof pressure for you tosayoutloud." AGoomba said.
"WAH! What the hell are you doing here!?" Waluigi snapped as he flailed his arms about, falling back within his taco stand as he was not expecting anyone else to be present.
"I came all the way here to enjoy the peace due to there not being that many people roaming around here so I can be alone."
"Well damn, I guess I'll have to pick a different spot to be able to have the chance to just enjoy myself, eh?" Waluigi bemoaned with a disgruntled tone in his voice as he adjusted his purple cap in disappointed.
"Perhaps, you could do that, or you can just go on about what you were doing in spite of my presence and not get so bothered over it."
Waluigi waved his left gloved hand. "Eh, whatever. It doesn't matter all that much. Do you want a taco or not?"
"No thanks, you lanky purple man. I don't really need it."
Waluigi clenched his fists as he dropped his composure, groaning while shaking his head. "Of course you don't, you culture void." He stretched his lanky limbs.
"Well if you excuse me, I'm going back to thinking about myself. It keeps me at bay while working on these tacos."
"Feeling selfish today, are we?"
"Nah, I just feel like taking a look at myself and wondering where did it all go wrong for me... besides being myself that is."
"...Don't you think it would be better to think positively instead of being so negative all the time?"
Waluigi scoffed as he squinted his eyes. "What benefit would that bring me?"
"Well it would do you better."
"Are you sure about that?" Waluigi asked as he was placing several spices on different flavored tacos to give them more of a taste kick.
"I'm quite positive, if you know what I mean."
Waluigi was so disgusted that he chucked a taco at him.
"And you wonder why I don't like talking that much." Waluigi bluntly muttered as he looked quite tired of life.
"We both know that isn't true."
Attempting a comeback wasn't enough for Waluigi as he made 1 of his defeated poses once again. "Eaugh... you're right."
"Is it just me, or did we-"
"Have this conversation years ago? Maybe we did in an alternate dimension... but I do know that I didn't have this kind of talk with you!" Waluigi finished as he did some weird posing things with his arms since he didn't feel like using his hands due to making so any tacos earlier.
"Oh really? Well who did?"
"Let me think, since that actually takes effort..." Waluigi mumbled as he rubbed his chin, proceeding to snap his fingers as he remembered. "Oh, it came back to me now! It was Birdo!"
"What about me?" Birdo spoke up as she pulled up on her pink colored Dolphin Dasher bike, adjusting her red bow as she didn't look amused to be randomly summoned.
