Hello everyone! Today, I give you this mini chapter to celebrate Spyro's 25th birthday!
It was September 9th, and Drake, Spyro, and Cynder were heading to Fu's message shop.
Interestingly, Spyro had a small blindfold on. As Drake and Cynder have special surprise in mind for the purple dragon.
"Where are we going?" The Purple Dragon asked as they entered the shop, with Cynder dragging him along.
"It's a surprise~" Cynder said in a slightly cheeky tone.
Once the three enter a room, Drake takes the blindfold off of Spyro.
The Purple Dragon saw that the room had purple and gold balloons and streamers. Standing in the room were Ignitus, Chris, Crash, Aku Aku, Nix, Coco, Prill, Ombra, Brandish, Siorc, Maven, Fu, Ashley, and Falx. They were standing around a table, and in the center of it was a cake with two purple candles. One was shaped like a 1, and the one next to it was shaped like a 6.
"Happy Birthday, Spyro!" They shouted. (Well, except Prill, Chris, and Crash, due to the former two being unable to talk while the latter just made jabbering noise)
"Guys..." Spyro said with a surprised and touched look.
"Ignitus told us your birthday was coming up, so we put something together." Drake said with a smile.
"And, I have my own birthday gift for you." The Chronicler said as five other holographic figures appeared.
The first be a golden dragonfly with arms, a humanoid cheetah with a archery bow on his back, a three dragons, one yellow, one blue, and one green.
"Sparx! Hunter! Volteer! Cyril! Terrador!" Spyro shouted with glee as he and Cynder fly up to the group.
"Good to see you again, bro." Sparx said before facing Cynder. "You too, she-dragon."
"Nice to see you too, Sparx." Cynder said with a eye-roll.
"I'm glad to see you're both safe and sound." Terrador said before facing Drake. "And in capable hands."
"So this is a human." Volteer said as he looks Drake over. "The next evolutionary step of the Apes. I can say it's an improvement. You have better posture, greater intelligence, less ugly-."
"That's quite enough Volteer." Ignitus said, not wanting the electric dragon to let his motor mouth run wild.
"Tell me Drake. Have you mastered the element of Ice?" Cyril asked.
"While I wouldn't say mastered, I do have a firm grasp." Drake said, forming a small flower made of ice.
"Decent, but nowhere close to my masterful skill." Cyril said with a prideful look, not noticing the eyerolls from Ignitus, Volteer, and Terrador.
"Your friends, family, and allies back home are glad to hear that you two are alive and well." Hunter said.
"Mom and Pops are very proud of you." Sparx said before looking over Spyro's Kwami-like body. "In fact, with you're new, you look might allow you move back in."
"Better make it a room for two." Cynder said as she lovingly nuzzles the birthday dragon.
As the inhabitants of the Dragon Realms give their congratulations to the couple, Drake picks up the cake and holds it out to Spyro.
"Now that the reunions are out of the way, time for the birthday boy, or should I say, Birthday Dragon, to blow out his candles." He said.
Spyro thinks about his wish for a second before blowing the candles out, getting cheers from everyone else.
For the next few hours, everyone was playing party games, like pin the tail on the dragon and whacking a Ape-shaped piñata, eating cake and drinking punch, teaching the Dragon Realms inhabitants about humans and their various cultures while the humans learned about the Dragon Realms, and just generally having a good time.
As this was happening, Malefor watched with a look of disgust on his face. But, if one dares to look close enough, you can see a bit of envy in his eyes.

Just a quick chapter made to celebrate 25 years of Spyro the Dragon!
I will like to say this. This chapter is canon to the actual story. As not only celebrates Spyro's 25th birthday (16th in universe, as Spyro was 12 in a New Beginning and the Eternal, while being 15 in Dawn of the Dragon) but it also shows that Ignitus managed to give Spyro and Cynder contact with their homeworld, letting them at least talk to Sparx, Hunter, Volteer, Cyril, and Terrador again.
