Leaving Servine and Skarmory to face the skeletons, Megma continues to greet Seryu.
"Seryu-chan... I'm really glad to see you again! Ever since I knew Ganondorf was resurrected, I was afraid that something horrible had happened to you."
"That girl." Bols recognized her. "She's one of the Raptors."
"Megma..." Seryu growled, unable to hide her anger.
"Huh?" The newcomer wondered. "Why do you seem so angry? From what I remember, we parted on very good terms."
"SHUT UP!" Seryu roared, pointing at her. "Megma... I will never forgive you! I could never forgive you for betraying me like you did."
"Huh? Oh... did your friends tell you that we fought them during our vacation in the Mushroom Kingdom? Sorry about that! It was nothing personal! It was just a mission we were given."
"A mission?" Run repeated. "What are you talking about? Who would have asked you to fight us?"
"Sorry, but a mercenary never reveals the name of his clients." Megma said, winking at him. "Our mission was just to fight you to know your power! But since our mission has ended, I no longer have any reason to fight you! That's why I decided to help Seryu-chan when she was in danger.
"I would rather die than be saved by you." Seryu roared. "Being saved by evil? It makes me want to puke."
Listening to hier, Megma seemed surprised. Then, she declared.
"I didn't think you were so stupid."
" What ? "
"Seryu-chan... if I was a bad person, why would I have saved you? Okay, I attacked your friends because it was my mission as a mercenary! But, now that this mission is over, your group just has to hire me so I can help you! After all, I don't hate you."
"Don't talk nonsense." Seryu roared. "Even if it was only one fight, you faced justice! Nothing can forgive your act! You must die for this."
"Seryu, calm down." Run ordered hrt.
Hearing the sounds of fighting, the man saw Wave's body crash against a wall before being hit by King Bulblin. Further away, Megma's Pokémon continued to fight the Stalfos, which came out of the ground in increasing numbers? If Megma decided to leave, Run knew they didn't stand a chance. Therefore, he declared.
"Proposing a temporary truce might not be a bad idea."
" WHAT ? " Shouted Seryu.
"Seryu... Try to be reasonable." Bols stated. "We don't have time to waste on her! If she doesn't want to fight us, then we have to allow her to help Wave."
"That's out of the question." Seryu roared. "That girl... That girl..."
Immediately, Seryu thought back to her meeting with Megma, while the girl had not hesitated to save the drowning. Then, she remembered the day and night she had spent with her. She had talked with Megma... She had fun with Megma... She had eaten and slept with Megma... Seryu had considered her as her friend.
That was why she felt an intense rage inside her. For Seryu, knowing that Megma had attacked the Jaegers was a true betrayal.
"I COULD NEVER FORGIVE HER." She roared, rushing towards her.
" SERYU ! STOP ! " He ordered Run.
Ignoring her, Seryu ran towards Megma, despite not being able to attack her with her weapons. Making her see her, Megma sighed, before muttering.
" Servine ... "
Stopping attacking the skeletons, the grass pokemon turns towards Seryu, before targeting her.
Servine utilise BULLET SEED.
Hitting the ground in front of Seryu's feet, the projectiles forced her to stop. Then, crossing her arms in front of her, Seryu tried to shield herself from the cloud of dust the attack caused. Seeing her stop, Megma affirms.
"Seryu... you're a stupid girl! I like you though! I'm sure we could be good friends if you stopped getting angry like you do."
" You ... " Said Seryu.
Suddenly, a huge impact noise was heard. Having grabbed Wave's helm in his hands, the Bulblin King tried to crush Wave's skull with his phenomenal strength. Unable to free himself from his grip, Wave closed his fists and used them to repeatedly strike his opponent's stomach. Groaning in pain, the monster ended up spinning around, before throwing Wave's body. Hitting the ground, Wave rolled for several meters before stopping by hitting a wall.
But he barely had time to regain his senses when he heard the heavy footsteps of King Bulblin, who rushed towards him to crush him against the wall. Getting up in time, Wave jumped to the side and let the monster hit the wall with force. And, then turning around, Wave directed his leg towards the back of his opponent's shin and hit him with force. Hearing the sound of a bone cracking, the king groaned in pain. Then, directing his arm towards Wave, he tried to grab him again. However, Wave made another jump back to avoid him, before taking support on the ground and throwing himself towards him.
As part of his armor was cracked, Wave managed to crush his fist against the bulblin king's snout, forcing him to back away. Taking two steps back, the monster remained still and tried to catch his breath. Feeling blood flowing out of his snout, the monster seemed exhausted. In front of him, Wave was in no better position, while his entire body was hurting.
"Damn it! At first, when we arrived in the Mushroom Kingdom, I thought we wouldn't encounter any threats! Yet, Mario... Luigi... Bowser... The Raptors and their pokemons... Ganondorf... and now you! I keep encountering powerful enemies."
Despite this, Wave began to smile.
"I've been dreaming for years of feeling this adrenaline rush from fighting opponents like you."
Seeming to understand, the Bulblin King looked surprised. Then, displaying what could be compared to a slight smile, he ended up letting out a huge roar, before rushing towards Wave, his fist clenched. Imitating him, Wave shouted in turn, before directing his fist towards his opponent's face.
The next moment, a bone-crunching sound rang out as the fists of both fighters crushed each other's faces. Shattering upon impact, Wave's helm vanished, while one of the king's canines shattered into pieces.
Standing still, both fighters showed pain on their faces. Still, refusing to give up, they continued to stare at each other. Finally, after a few seconds of silence, both opponents jumped back. But as soon as he touched the ground, Wave fell to his knees, while his armor began to glow.
Disappearing, his armor took the form of a sword and fell in front of Wave, who was exhausted. He no longer had the strength to fight.
" Damn it. "
For his part, the Bulblin King remained standing on his feet. Now having the right side of his face completely swollen, the monster also felt blood flowing out of his mouth. However, raising his arms in the air, he let out a roar, proving that he was still fit to fight.
Seeing him do this, Run growled in displeasure, and wondered if allying with Megma wasn't the only solution they had.
Yet, to everyone's surprise, King Bulblin turned around. Then, starting to walk away from Wave, the monster began to hiss. Coming at full speed, his pig stopped near him and allowed him to climb on its back. Finally, giving it the signal, King Bulblin ordered it to run and leave the castle.
Not understanding what had just happened, Bols asked.
"He... He's leaving?"
"Why?" Wave asked.
At that moment, he heard someone applauding him.
"Well done!" Megma congratulated him. "Jaegers? You are truly amazing."
" What ? "
"The Bulblin King is known to be a ruthless person." The young woman assured. "He does not hesitate, with his underlings, to attack anyone he meets in order to kill them to rob them! He is one of the most powerful inhabitants of this world! And yet, he has a weakness! He loves to fight against powerful opponents! And since the death of Ganondorf and his minions, the Bulblin King has found himself deprived of many opponents to fight."
Staring at Wave, she assured.
"The only reason King Bulblin spares his targets is if he finds them worthy of life! He spares the strongest fighters he encounters so he can fight them again! Even though he is ruthless, there is some honor in him! It proves that you are very powerful people."
Hearing this, Wave ended up sitting on the ground, unable to do anything else. Around him, Skarmory continued to attack the Stalfos that came out of the ground, before being helped again by Servine. Knowing that his companions would not have been able to fight all these undead, Wave turned to Megma.
"Why are you helping us?"
"Because it's fun." Megma assured. "I hope this proves that I want to be your friend."
"Stop treating me like an idiot."
Picking up a sword belonging to one of the Stalfos, Seryu pointed it at Megma.
"I will never be your friend."
"If I were you, I wouldn't do that."
Getting hit by two more attacks, the Stalfos were knocked out, while two more Pokemon appeared.
" BLASTOISE / BALTOY ! "
Recognizing the two Pokemon, Megma saw John running towards them, while he was chased by many skeletons.
"Hey, I could use a little help."
Seeing him running towards them, the Jaegers saw that he was carrying someone on his back.
"Tatsumi!" The Jaegers recognized him, while their companion was still unconscious.
"It seems he fought valiantly to the point of exhaustion."
Staring at Seryu, he questioned her.
"Do you think you're in a good position to threaten my friend? Given your condition, I doubt you can afford to do something so stupid! Especially since I might kill your friend before you can do anything."
Hearing this, Seryu began to growl in rage.
" You ... YOU ... "
"From what I see, you don't want us." Megma said, pretending to be disappointed. "Okay, in that case, we have no choice! We're going to leave and leave you here."
Starting to whistle, she ordered her pokemons to return to her, despite the fact that more skeletons came out of the ground.
"Good luck to you." The young woman said, flashing a smile at the Jaegers.
"You'll need it." Jon assured, setting Tatsumi's body on the ground.
"Hey!" Wave shouted, trying in vain to get back on his feet. "Wait! Is this a joke?"
Seeing the skeletons coming towards them, he affirmed.
"We don't have the energy to beat them all anymore."
"You don't want us." Megma asserted. "So why should we stay here and put ourselves in danger if we're going to hear you hate us?"
Then, she turned one last time to the Jaegers, before waving at them.
" Bye, bye ! "
Then turning around, she walked away with John, while he ordered his Pokemon to attack several skeletons to make their way out of the castle.
" HOW MUCH ? "
Surprising everyone, Run had taken a step forward, while shouting this question.
"Huh?" the duo wondered, turning around.
"Are you mercenaries who work for anyone?" The blond asked. "What's your price? We'll hire you."
" What ? " Said Seryu.
"Run... are you sure?" Bols asked. "If Esdeath-sama knows, she..."
"I take full responsibility for this." Run assured. "We have no choice! I'd rather have Esdeath-sama kill me for my decision than be responsible for the deaths of half of the Jaegers."
"I refuse." Seryu retorted. "Run... justice can never forgive this! We only need justice to..."
" SHUT UP ! "
Jumping, Seryu saw Run staring at her angrily, while retorting.
"I don't want to hear anything from someone who wanted to blow themselves up without the slightest hesitation! Seryu... I don't want to hear from you anymore."
Not understanding the reason for his anger at meeting her, Seryu preferred to remain silent, while Run asserted.
"I'll pay you whatever price you want! So please help us."
Looking at him, appearing surprised, Jon retorted.
"It's not like we can decide without Goli."
Yet, Megma affirmed it.
"Why not? For once he's not here, we can have fun."
Staring at Run, she declared.
"We will help you! And regarding our payment, we want only one choice."
The twilight sky began to darken as a large thunderstorm broke out outside. Ganondorf looked at Kurome before smiling evilly.
"Can you repeat that? Defeat me in one hit? You're pathetic! Even though I can't understand how you're still alive, you're too weak to continue! Right now, I could finish you off by throwing you to the ground." Ganondorf said.
Yet, he noticed that the dark aura around Kurome was growing larger and larger. The aura even seemed to be moving.
"Is she really able to use the darkness within her to increase the energy of Zelda's sword?"
Suddenly, Kurome raised her sword vertically in front of her as the twilight around her grew larger. Then, suddenly, the aura took the form of a demon.
"What is this? " Ganondorf asked, as Kurome's eyes took on a twilight color.
"It's over." Kurome affirmed.
The twilight storm clouds from outside rushed through the windows as they began to envelop Kurome. The clouds then formed an electric twilight demon behind Kurome as all the aura around her gathered around her sword.
Kurome then leaned back as she pointed her sword at Ganondorf.
"I'LL KILL YOU!" Kurome lunged at Ganondorf as the demon followed her.
Ganondorf was now shocked, but regained his senses as a large dark aura formed around him.
"YOU THINK THIS WILL KILL ME?! YOU INSOLENT PARASITIC! I WILL NOT DIE AGAIN! TRIFORCE OF OBLIVION!" Ganondorf raised his hand into the air as the Triforce of Power on the back of his hand created a massive triforce symbol all over Ganondorf as he floated in the center as Kurome steps closer.
"DIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEE !"
Ganondorf fired a massive black blast from the center of his Triforce symbol, which struck Kurome and pulverized a large portion of the throne room. Wide-eyed, Link stood still as the explosion shook the entire castle.
"HEH HEH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! ARE YOU NOW REGRETTING FACING ME?!" Ganondorf yelled maniacally, until he noticed Kurome walking through the explosion.
Being completely naked, while her clothes had been reduced to ashes, Kurome had her body completely charred, while droplets of black blood flowed around her, and the ends of her hair were burning.
Being in a pitiful state, Kurome's body seemed on the verge of collapsing, unlike his sword which continued to emit an imposing dark aura.
"WHAT!?" Ganondorf gasped as Kurome pierced the triforce around Ganondorf and impaled him through his chest while the demon behind Kurome swallowed him and Ganondorf. The demon then pierced through the ceiling and rose into the sky.
Shocked, Link suddenly saw Kurome's body collapse to the ground, while a pool of black blood formed around her. For his part, also coughing up blood, Ganondorf screamed in pain, while Kurome's sword was stuck inside him.
" IMPOSSIBLE ! "
Surging around him, the darkness contained within the sword transformed into black flames with the power of the Triforce and began to burn him.
" IT'S IMPOSSIBLE ! "
Feeling several parts of his body turn to dust, Ganondorf used his last strength to generate lightning around his fist. Unsure if Kurome was dead or not to create this final attack, Ganondorf aimed his fist at her, to ensure he killed her.
"If I have to go back to hell, you will come with me."
However, an arrow suddenly pierced his skull. Having aimed it with his bow, Link had made sure that Ganondorf couldn't harm Kurome.
"It's over, Ganondorf."
"Link... you were lucky that bitch was here to help you! But don't dream! I'll be back! And this time, no one will be able to stop me from getting my revenge..."
And finally, the rest of Ganondorf's body was transformed into a pile of ashes that fell near Kurome. Then, a gust of wind began to blow them away, making them disappear into the distance. Seeing this, Link murmured.
" It's over. "
And as if to prove it, while Jon and Megma's Pokemon were fighting the Stalfos to prevent them from killing the Jaegers, the group was surprised to see the skeletons stop, before falling to the ground.
" Huh ? "
Eventually, no more skeletons emerged from the ground and an eerie silence filled the area.
"What is…?" Bols wondered.
"The skeletons are all dead." Wave remarked.
Seeing this, Megma began to smile.
"It seems Ganondorf is dead."
But suddenly, the sound of an explosion was heard.
With wide eyes, Stylish was still at the top of the castle tower, while Zelda's body rested behind him. Earlier, Link had come to him and entrusted him with the princess's body, before leaving at full speed. But, after making sure that Zelda was okay, the scientist had seen the entire fight between Esdeath and Goli. And now, there was a winner.
