Waluigi watched as Cream The Rabbit, Toadette, Birdo, and Amy Rose were playing the weird mini game Shadow Tag on the sandy shore of Seaside Hill in front of Waluigi's Taco stand, where the objective of the mini game was to run from whoever was IT, who couldn't collect the yellow rings as a result. Dr. Eggman was shining a bright yellow light on the characters who weren't it with his floating Eggmobile. Currently Birdo was it, and she was trying to tag Amy, who was the last person to not be it.
"Ho ho ho!" Eggman laughed as he briefly blinded the participants with his light, "I do enjoy doing this! It's fun and harmful to you all! Dohohoho!"
"Wah, I don't understand this mini game much," Waluigi commented as he munched on a fishy taco he held in his right hand, gulping down on a beefy taco as he watched Birdo successfully tag Amy. "But I'm enjoying it, that's for sure! Wahahaha!"
Amy attempted to tag Birdo back, but the blinding light from Eggman's Eggmobile was enough to make her fall face first into the sand, with Toadette and Cream giggling as they pointed at Amy. Amy growled as she shook her head, jumping back up and tackling Toadette to the ground, tagging her. Waluigi noticed a line of different customers lining up, smiling as he began selling tacos again.
