Waluigi yawned as Luigi suddenly popped up in the pile of tacos, smiling as he had his arms folded.
"Hello, Wally." Luigi introduced as he kept his smug grin.
Waluigi slowly turned his head towards Luigi, his right eye twitching. "You. What do you want, dumb green bean?"
"You like her." Luigi chuckled as he nodded his head, raising his eyebrows.
"Who, Daisy?" Waluigi scoffed as he rolled his eyes. "She may be a loud mouthed, gassy airhead, but I like her spunk."
"I wasn't talking about Daisy." Luigi remarked as he moved his hands around, still smiling. "I was talking about Toadette."
Waluigi clenched his fists as he turned to Luigi, pointing at him with his right hand. "What did she tell you?"
"She didn't tell me anything. All I know is that you're generally acting nicer now than you ever did before." Luigi insisted as he handed Waluigi a few dollars, taking a regular taco and munching on it. "Like when we all went racing in the Dry Dry Desert on our bikes. You let her get first place even though you were in the lead."
"...So...?" Waluigi stuttered, slightly blushing as he tucked his purple cap down a bit with his right hand.
"And when we went to Daisy's Cruiser to play some baseball, you let Toadette pitch while you were the first runner," Luigi continued as he munched on his taco, "And you let her bat right after you. Normally you would reserve that for Wario, but this was something else."
Waluigi's blush was becoming more noticeable as Birdo approached the stand, waving hello to Luigi as she noticed that Waluigi was feeling awkward.
"I see that you're noticing his newfound appreciation for Toadette," Birdo asked Luigi as she placed her hands behind her back.
Luigi nodded, wrapping his right arm around Birdo. "Why yes, I am, Birdo." He then turned his focus back at Waluigi, chuckling. "Turns out she really likes you, Waluigi."
Waluigi placed his hands on his head as he shook his head in disbelief. "I can't believe it... that stupid pink mushroom girl is actually making me less grouchy..."
"Yeah. Seems like she finally thawed you out!" Luigi laughed, with Birdo laughing alongside him as the two walked together towards the western direction.
Waluigi sighed as he watched Luigi and Birdo go, turning around and screaming as he flailed his arms, to see Toadette looking at him, her hands behind her back as she innocently smiled.
"Hiya, Wally! What's up?" Toadette asked as she giggled.
Waluigi sighed as he had a slight smile on his face, simply patting Toadette on the head with his right hand. "Just... have a taco and enjoy your time here, damn it."
