Eternal Gaiden 14: The Will to Live

Kyoya continues to look at the desert-like landscape around him in confusion on how he's here.

"What's going on? How did I get here?" Kyoya said as he tried to remember. "That's right...I took that cure Sei gave me, but it doesn't make sense. How am I here?"

"The same way I'm here."

Kyoya turned around and saw an armored figure looking down at him on top of a slope of sand.

"Hello, Kyoya."

Kyoya's eyes widened as he recognized that armored figure as Kamen Rider Kabuto in Masked Form.

Kabuto then walks down the slope to face Kyoya.

"The name's Kamen Rider Kabuto. Surely you heard of me." Kabuto introduced himself.

"No way...This can't be real." Kyoya said.

"Oh I'm real alright. I hope you're ready for a fight, because I am." Kabuto told him.

"What? I'm not gonna fight you." Kyoya told him.

"Then I suppose you'll be destroyed." Kabuto said as assumed in his combat stance.

Seeing that he doesn't have much of a choice but to fight, Kyoya was about to reach for his Lost Driver but…

"What? My Driver, it's gone?!" Kyoya gasped before he saw Kabuto charging to attack him.

Kabuto punches at Kyoya and he dodges it before the beetle Rider throws another punch and Kyoya blocks it before Kabuto grabs onto his shirt and throws him across the ground as he flies on the sand.

"Come on! Unless you want to survive, you're gonna have to fight!" Kabuto told him as Kyoya stood back up and faced him.

Kyoya assumes his combat stance as he and Kabuto charge at each other as they throw in an attack at the same time.

(Meanwhile)

During the battle against the Earth Elemental, Ange's Villkiss was pushed back by him as the Elemental was standing on a floating rock platform that was in the air.

"What's wrong, vermin? I thought you said you were going to kick my ass." The Earth Elemental said in a mocking tone as the others flew to Ange's side.

"Damn this guy is tough. I'll give him that." Hilda said in frustration.

"Yeah...But we can't give up now." Ange said. "Not with so much on the line here."

"Agree! For Princess Salamandinay's sake, for Kyoya-san's sake, and for their son's sake!" Naga said as she readies her Soryugo's blade as she charges at the Earth Elemental as the others fire at him.

"Useless!" The Earth Elemental said as he created a wall made out of earth to protect him from the incoming shots fire, and changes that wall into spears of rock as he sends them out as they dodge the spears while Naga smashes through one of them with her machine's armblade as she kept charging at him.

Kyoya and Kabuto continue to battle against each other as Kabuto throws a punch at Kyoya and he dodges it and throws a couple of punches on Kabuto's chest and the beetle-theme Rider withstood his punches as Kyoya only hurt his hands as he took a step back and flicks his hands before he saw Kabuto throwing another punch at him and Kyoya dodges it by ducking under it and grabs onto Kabuto's arm.

Kyoya then used that chance to use all of his strength to throw Kabuto across the ground as he fell on the sand.

"Wow! I can't believe I pulled that off…" Kyoya said in amazement before Kabuto stood back up.

"Not bad. But let's see if you can handle this." Kabuto said as he flicked on his Zecter, and then his armor slightly opened up before he shouted.

"Cast Off!" Kabuto said as he pulled the horn on his Zecter.

CAST OFF

Kabuto's Masked Form armor pieces jumped off of him as some of the pieces headed towards Kyoya, which he managed to avoid by rolling on the ground before he felt a feeling of dread as Kabuto's horn rose up and attached to his forehead.

CHANGE BEETLE

"Oh no…" Kyoya mutters as he knows what's going to come next.

"Clock Up!" Kabuto shouted as he pressed the side button on his belt.

CLOCK UP

Kabuto then moves at Kyoya in high speed so fast that Kyoya wasn't able to see him.

Kyoya was sweating as he looked around the area as he waited for Kabuto's next attack, but then Kabuto attacked in front of him sending Kyoya flying backwards before Kabuto moved in behind him to throw a kick that sent him rolling on the ground.

Kyoya was left panting as Kabuto disappeared at high speed again.

"Dammit...I can't beat him like this…" Kyoya mutters as this felt hopeless for him, before images of Sala and both versions of Sei appeared in his mind. "No...I can't give up. Sala and Sei are waiting for me. I can't let them down."

Kyoya then closed his eyes as he focused his senses, and then he could sense Kabuto moving towards him at high speed in spot to the next as he got closer and closer until…

"Now!" Kyoya shouted as he swept kicks at Kabuto's legs and his attack made contact as Kabuto was sent flying as he was knocked off of his feet and was knocked out of his Clock Up speed.

CLOCK OVER

Kabuto was rolling on the ground, and as he stood back up, Kyoya used this chance as he jumps at Kabuto and lands a kick on his chest, forcing the beetle theme Rider to stumble back and Kyoya throws an uppercut under Kabuto's chin sending him flying upwards before he falls to the ground.

Kyoya was panting as Kabuto stood back up.

"Not bad...I see you've got a lot of fight left in you. But is it enough?" Kabuto said before he pressed the side-button on his belt.

CLOCK UP

Kabuto left the area using his Clock Up speed.

"Wait!" Kyoya calls out as Kabuto leaves, leaving him confused on what he means by what he just said. "What was he talking about?"

Both Accel and the Wind Elemental continue to battle against each other as they race through the city at high speed as they clash their weapons against each other before their next clash brings both of them in a bladed lock as they stop.

"You're fast, I'll admit that. But you can never catch the wind!" The Wind Elemental said as he pushed Accel with a gust of wind, and with a flick of his arms the Elemental soon entraps Accel in a tornado as he flies up and spun around in it.

After a few spins Accel soon calls out to.

"Hey girls, now will be a good time!" Hearing that confused the Wind Elemental before he was fired upon by cannons and beams from behind, and was forced to free Accel as he landed on his knee, hand, and foot as he shook his head as he still felt a little dizzy.

The Wind Elemental turned around and saw Kaname, Chris, and Rosalie in their respective machines who fired at him with their weapons. The Wind Elemental growls before he turns at Accel as he slowly stands back up.

"Cowards! You're that afraid to face me one on one?!" The Wind Elemental exclaimed.

"Hey, calls us what you want. We'll do anything to protect our world, and from what Sei told us about you, you're just as bad...No, you're worse than anyone I ever set eyes on." Accel said which made the Wind Elemental growl at him as Accel readies his sword.

"Now, where were we?" Accel asked as he and the Elemental charge at each other to attack with their respective weapons.

Kyoya now found himself in a deep forest with a green sky, and he could hear someone echoing his name.

"Kyoya...Kyoya…"

"Something tells me I'm not on Arzenal anymore." Kyoya said.

"Or Tokyo." The voice said before he chuckles before the source of that jumps down in front of Kyoya as he stood up.

Kyoya soon saw it was Kamen Rider Amazon Omega as he faced him.

"Hello, Kyoya, it's a pleasure to meet you." Omega told him.

"Amazon Omega? How are you here?" Kyoya asked.

"The same way why Kabuto was here, and the same reason why he appeared before you." Omega said as he assumed his combat stance.

"Not this again…" Kyoya mutters.

Omega soon jumps at Kyoya to attack with his arm blades and Kyoya dodges his attack by rolling on the ground. As Kyoya stood back up he kicked at Omega two times but the Amazon Rider dodged his kicks before he punched at Kyoya, and Kyoya managed to dodge his punches and Kyoya managed to land a punch on Omega's head, but then Kyoya groaned as he flicked his hand.

"Oh if you think that hurt, just wait on what else I have in store for you." Omega said darkly as he assumed his combat stance once again and Kyoya did the same as he was ready for the Amazon Rider's next attack.

The Water Elemental charges at Skull as he fires at her but his gunfire pass through the Elemental's water-like body as she kept charging at him and soon thrust her trident at Skull, and he dodges it and throws a kick at her head but the moment he made contact his kick pass through the Elemental's head as it liquefied.

The Water Elemental then lands a slash on Skull's chest, sending him rolling on the ground.

Then the Water Elemental then used the water from the sea behind her to form giant tentacles as she swings them at Skull as he stood on one knee, and Skull dodges the tentacles as he fired and destroyed them but then the Water Elemental soon took a chance to grab onto Skull's neck and lift up him as he struggled to break free.

"You've put up a good fight, I'll admit to that. But you can never hope to defeat me." The Water Elemental said.

"Yeah...Don't bet on that! Salia!" Skull said and the Water Elemental was confused on what he means by that.

"On it!"

The Water Elemental soon saw Salia in her Ragna-mail appearing before both her and Skull before Salia grabbed onto the Elemental and soon used Cleopatra's teleportation ability to teleport herself, the Elemental, and Skull to another location.

As Cleopatra teleports in that very location, the Water Elemental let's go of Skull as she jumps away from them as Skull lands on one knee and foot as he mends his sore neck.

"Ken, are you okay?" Salia asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Skull said.

"Damn you two…" The Water Elemental growled as Ken and Salia turned to her. "I don't know where you've brought me. But if you think separating me from the others will change another, you're...sadly…"

The Water Elemental soon begins to feel weak as she falls on one knee and leans on her trident for support.

"What the...what is this…" The Water Elemental said as she looked around and to her horror, she saw that they were in the middle of a large desert with no water around them and as the scorching sun was shining down at her.

"Surprised?" Skull said getting the Water Elemental's attention. "Welcome to the good old Sahara desert, and as you can see no water anywhere."

"Do...Do you really think that would stop me…" The Water Elemental said weakly as she stood back up.

"Nope, but I'm sure this will!" Skull said as he brought Kyoya's Iceage Memory. "Let's go, Kyoya!"

Skull soon inserted the Iceage Memory into the Maximum Drive Slot in his Skull Magnum.

ICEAGE: MAXIMUM DRIVE

Skull soon fired ice bullets into the Water Elemental's body.

"What? Was that supposed to hurt…" The Water Elemental said before she looks down at her body and to her horror. "What is this?! No...No!" The Water Elemental shouted in horror as her body was completely frozen solid.

"Now as an extra precaution!" Skull said as he pulled out his Skull Memory and inserted it into the Maximum Drive slot on his belt.

SKULL: MAXIMUM DRIVE

Skull's energy skull appeared from his chest and soon kicked on it to send it at the Water Elemental to destroy her as she exploded.

Skull then looks at the remains of the Water Elemental as the ice fragments begin to melt and vaporize thanks to the scorching sun.

"That's one down, and only three to go." Skull said before he turned to Salia's Ragna-mail. "And you said that my plan wouldn't work."

"Okay, so I was wrong. Are you happy now?" Salia asked with a smile on her face.

"More or less." Skull shrugged. "But that's enough of that, best that we join the others."

"Right." Salia nodded as she lowered her Ragna-mail's hand to Skull as he jumped onto it as they teleported back to where their friends were.

In his battle against Amazon Omega, Kyoya is seen dodging the Amazon Rider's attacks as he was forced to move back before he counters by throwing a reverse spin kick at Omega, but Omega dodges it by jumping backwards and Omega lands on a tree behind as he uses it jump at Kyoya to land a kick on his head sending him rolling on the ground as Omega lands on his feet.

"Get up, I'm not done with you yet!" Omega said as he grabs onto Kyoya and picks him up on his feet. "Is that really all you've got?!"

"No...Not even close!" Kyoya shouted as he pushed Omega's hands away from him before they grabbed on each other's shoulder.

"That's good, but don't forget, I'm stronger and faster than you!" Omega said before both him and Kyoya spun around.

"That may be true...but I'm smarter and I still have a few tricks up my sleeve!" Kyoya said before he headbuts Omega which was strong enough to force the Amazon Rider to let go of him as he stumbled back.

Omega soon saw Kyoya charging at him, and Omega soon twisted the Handle of his Driver.

VIOLENT PUNISH

Omega's arm blades extended as he charges at Kyoya to slash him with them, but then Kyoya dodges it by jumping over Omega and as Omega stops in his tracks he soon saw Kyoya jumping off of tree to tree as he heads to Omega and lands a kick on the side of his head, stunning Omega as he stumbles and as Kyoya lands on his feet he soon jumps at Omega and lands a double kick on his chest sending the Amazon Rider rolling on the ground as Kyoya lands on his feet once again.

"Impressive…" Omega said as he stood back up. "Now we'll see if you're ready to face your strongest challenge." Omega told him as mist surrounds him as he disappeared as it fades away.

"What? That wasn't challenging?" Kyoya asked.

In his battle against the Fire Elemental, an explosion was heard as Seiryuu was pushed back as he managed to stop and land on his feet. Seiryuu was panting as the Fire Elemental was simply staring at him.

"What's wrong, vermin? I thought you said you were going to destroy me." The Fire Elemental said in a mocking tone.

"I can and I will!" Seiryuu said as he sends an energy slash at the Fire Elemental and she too also sends an energy slash at Seiryuu's attack as they exploded against each other.

Then the Fire Elemental fired several balls of fire at Seiryuu and he blocked them with energy shields.

But then Seiryuu soon saw that the Fire Elemental was now gone, before she appeared behind him and lands a slashed on his back, and as Seiryuu turns around at her, she soon created a fiery explosion in front of him sending Seiryuu flying before he falls to the ground.

Seiryuu was about to stand back but then the Fire Elemental pressed her foot on his chest to pin him on the ground.

"And you said there was going to be a future without me." The Fire Elemental said as she raised her sword to swing it down at Seiryuu and the Rider Future of the future closed his eyes to brace himself from the incoming attack…

But then the Fire Elemental was fired upon as she was forced to walk away from Seiryuu, before the both of them saw it was Skull and Salia that fired at her as Skull jumps at the Elemental and lands a powerful punch on her making her to skid back on the ground as Skull lands beside Seiryuu.

"Ken...Salia…" Seiryuu said as he sits up as Skull turns to him.

"Hey, Sei, need a hand?" Skull asked as he offered his hand to the Rider of the future and accepted it as Skull helps him stand back up.

"And the Water Elemental?" Seiryuu asked.

"The plan worked. She's toast." Skull told him which surprised Seiryuu and the Fire Elemental.

"What?! But that's impossible!" The Fire Elemental stated in denial.

"Oh it's possible alright!" Skull said as Seiryuu was left stunned by this.

"Wait...If the Water Elemental is destroyed...then that means…" Seiryuu said as Skull nodded.

"Yeah, it means we're one step closer to changing the future. And we're going to that next step right here and now!" Skull said as he and Seiryuu turned to the Fire Elemental.

"Hmph! I like to see you try!" The Fire Elemental said as she created a large fire behind her.

"Let's go!" Skull said as he brought out his Magnum.

"Right!" Seiryuu said as he readies his sword and both Riders charged at the Elemental as Skull fired at her and Seiryuu flew at her to swing his sword and the Elemental did the same as she swung her sword at him.

Kyoya soon found himself in a different landscape that was filled with tree plants and trees all around him as he walks through before he stops.

"Okay, this is officially weird. Even by Kamen Rider standards." Kyoya mutters before he hears a familiar chant.

SOIYA

Kyoya soon saw the Daidaimaru appearing beside it as it was stabbed into a nearby tree before Kyoya pulled it and faced his next and strongest opponent.

"So you're here too." Kyoya said as he saw Kamen Rider Gaim walking towards him.

"Hello, Kyoya. I see you're a fan of Dark Riders." Gaim said.

"What can I say. I like what I like. And let me guess, you're here to fight?" Kyoya asked.

"You've guessed right!" Gaim said as he drew out his Musou Saber as he charged at Kyoya and Kyoya did the same as he charged at the Samurai-theme Rider as they clashed their blades.

Then both Gaim and Kyoya pushed each other back, and Gaim pulled the switch on his Saber to load its energy bullets and fired at Kyoya with them and Kyoya deflected the bullets with the Daidaimaru and soon charged at Gaim.

Then both Kyoya and Gaim soon engage in a sword fight as they slashed at each other while parrying and dodging at the same time before Kyoya manages to dodge a stab from Gaim and Kyoya used that chance to swing the Daidaimaru on his hand knocking the Musou Saber out of his hand.

Gaim flicks his hand before Kyoya lands a slash on his chest as he spun around and sends Gaim rolling on the ground before Kyoya assumes a combat stance.

Gaim soon stood back up as he wiped his hand on his mouthpiece.

"Not bad. But let's see how you'll handle this!" Gaim soon brings out his Kachidoki Lockseed and inserts it into his Driver.

LOCK ON

KACHIDOKI

Gaim then pulls out the Kiwami Lockseed as he pressed on the button to pop out its key.

FRUITS BASKET

Kyoya soon saw all of the Gaim Armor Parts appearing out of several cracks above Gaim as they surround him, as Gaim's Rider Indicator had change into the Senyo Joint as the Fruit theme Samurai inserts the Kiwami Lockseed into the Joint and the Kachidoki Lockseed and clicks it to open both Lockseeds.

LOCK OPEN: KIWAMI ARMS

DAI DAI DAI DAI DAI SHOGUN

The Armor Parts then combine and merge with Gaim as he changes into his Kiwami Arms Form.

Kyoya was now sweating as Gaim had changed into his Final Form, and Gaim soon flicked the Kiwami Lockseed several times.

PINE IRON

ICHIGO KUNAI

KIWI GEKIRIN

KURUMI BOMBERS

Gaim soon brings forth several of the said weapons as he throws them at Kyoya and he manages to deflect them the Daidaimaru, but then Gaim flicks on his Lockseed again.

SONIC ARROW

Gaim soon wields the Sonic Arrow in his hand as he charges at Kyoya and slashed him with it, and Kyoya dodges it before the two engage in a sword fight as they clashed their weapons against each other before Gaim dodges Kyoya's next slash by jumping backwards and as he was flying backwards he soon readies and fired an energy arrow at the Daidaimaru knocking it out of Kyoya's hand.

Kyoya's grabs onto his wrist in pain before Gaim flicks the Kiwami Lockseed once again.

BANASPEAR

Gaim soon wields the Banaspear in his hand, and pushes his Driver's Cutting Blade down.

KIWAMI SQUASH

Gaim thrust his Spear into the ground which sends a shockwave beneath Kyoya's feet which sends him flying when it explodes beneath and soon falls to the ground.

As Kyoya sits up as he saw Gaim standing above him as he pointed his Banaspear in front of his face.

"You should know how powerful I am. Why don't you just give up the fight?" Gaim asked.

"That's the one thing I'll never do!" Kyoya told him.

"Then I guess this is it!" Gaim said as he pulled his Spear back and Kyoya braced himself...but then Gaim lowered his Spear and offered his free hand to him. "You've passed the test."

Kyoya was left confused by this before he accepted Gaim's hand as he helped him stand back up.

"Test? What are you talking about?" Kyoya asked before he saw Kamen Rider Kabuto walking towards him.

"You haven't been fighting us. You've been fighting for your life." Kabuto told him before Kyoya saw Omega walking towards him as well.

"And you've proven that your will to live is stronger than any Rider power." Omega told him before he and Kabuto stood beside Gaim before they changed into their civilian forms, and to Kyoya's surprise the three Riders he fought against were different versions of himself as they were wearing different clothes.

The three Kyoyas then brought each of Eternal-Kyoya's Rider gear, his Eternal Edge, the Lost Driver, and the Eternal Memory.

Kyoya then took each of his Rider Gear from his dopplegangers.

"Good luck, Kamen Rider Eternal." The three Kyoyas told him as they faded away, and the world around Kyoya started to fade away as well…

In the real world, Kyoya begins to open his eyes as his vision is cleared to see a familiar white ceiling.

"Kyoya!" Kyoya blinks before he turns and saw Sala by his side holding their son in her arms as Sala was shedding tears of joy. "You're alive…"

"Yeah, I guess I am…" Kyoya mutters before he removes his oxygen mask and smiles at Sala. "Or I could be in heaven...Because you look like an angel right now."

"Oh don't even say something like that." Sala said as she wiped away her tears.

Kyoya then slowly begins to sit up which makes Sala worried.

"Kyoya, no! You shouldn't even try to get up." Sala told her husband.

"I'm fine." Kyoya said as he looked at her. "They're here, aren't they?"

Sala was a little hesitant to answer before she nodded.

"Then this is no time for me to rest. Our friends and our son needs us." Kyoya told him as he got out of bed and stood on the floor without stumbling a bit before Sala gave him support as she grabbed onto him.

"Oh...I swear you're still so reckless...but that's one of the things I love about you." Sala told him with a smile and he smiles back at her.

"I could say the same about you." Kyoya said as he stood on his own. "Come on! Best that we get moving!"

"Right!" Sala nodded as they left the room together to join their friends and their son to battle.

'Hang on, everyone, we're coming.' Kyoya thought as he was ready for battle and to change the future.
