Waluigi was selling his tacos at the dusty Dry Dry Ruins, being at the dry trail leading up to the finish line as he spotted Toadette, who was wearing some new treasure gear as she was waddling with pride, having a big brown backpack on her back as she hummed, waving to Waluigi.
"Hey Wally! Check out the gear I'm packing!" Toadette exclaimed as she twirled around, pointing at herself with a smile on her face. "I'm officially ready for adventuring! Aren't I adorable?"
Waluigi squinted his eyes in disgust as he folded his arms together, shaking his head. "You mean to tell me that Captain Toad allowed you to come on his adventures?"
"Yeah! Isn't it great?" Toadette exclaimed as she placed her hands on her face, gushing as she closed her eyes. "I'm going to be able to explore exotic places, collect some treasure, and be able to be a renowned treasure hunter... just like Knuckles and Rouge!"
Waluigi slapped his forehead as he sighed. "Well, isn't that quite a predicament..." He sarcastically complimented.
Toadette's stomach growled, with Toadette snapping out of her gushing as she moved her hands around. "Which reminds me, I'm famished! Hand me one of those tacos, please!"
"Yeah, sure, whatever." Waluigi remarked as he gave a plate full of tacos to Toadette, who paid him back in heavy diamonds that crushed Waluigi, much to his dismay as he was in great pain, with Toadette enjoying the tacos as she kept on marching westward throughout the desert surrounding the Dry Dry Ruins.
Waluigi stretched his arms as he watched Mario and Luigi fight over the last taco, with Princess Daisy and Toadette giggling as Waluigi shook his head in annoyance.
"Eck. You two brothers are such savages." Waluigi commented as he went further into the stand to make a new batch of tacos. "I don't know why I bother to ban anyone here."
"Because... that would be bad for business?" King Bowser Koopa commented, sipping some fresh lemonade as he stood across the counter, looking into the taco stand.
Waluigi scoffed as he rolled his eyes at Bowser. "Heh! Like you would care!" He commented as he started his taco making process, with Bowser watching from the counter.
Later towards the evening, Waluigi finished up making the last batch of tacos as he placed them on the yellow counter, waiting for any customers to come. Suddenly, thunder boomed as dark clouds showed up around Seaside Hill, rain pouring heavily as Waluigi folded his arms, looking around to see if anybody would buy the tacos.
"Hello, fresh tacos here!" Waluigi called out as he shook his head. "To think, I could be pushing innocent idiots off edges by now..."
Suddenly a couple of seagulls showed up, trying to take the tacos as Waluigi pulled out a slingshot, firing pebbles at them as he defended his tacos, which attracted more seagulls as it began to rain more.
Waluigi was at the Moonview Highway, once more selling tacos as he was on the western side of the Mushroom Bridge, being near the turnpike as he watched various vehicles go right past him. He did, however, spot Toadette in her treasure tracking gear, pulling up in a mine cart full of bright diamonds and jewels of various colors.
"Hiya, Wally ally! Look at all these priceless gems I got!" Toadette exclaimed as she held a giant green emerald in her hands, with it actually being bigger than her!
Waluigi dropped his jaw in disbelief as he recognized the enormous emerald. "Toadette... that's the friggin' Master Emerald from Angel Island! How... how did you of all people snag it!?" He gawked in disbelief, moving his arms around at an incredibly fast pace as he couldn't believe it.
Toadette giggled as she shrugged. "Well, I just saw it lying on some ruins, and there wasn't anyone there, so I took it!" She then placed the Master Emerald in her backpack, placing her hands on her hips. "It's not like anyone was watching over it, or anything!"
"Boy, I can't wait to see what will enchilada boy think when he finds out that his Master Emerald is missing..." Waluigi mused as he munched on a fish flavored taco, with Toadette once again exchanging her jewels in favor of Waluigi's tacos.
