Waluigi was cleaning up his taco stand at his pinball stage used for racing, the Waluigi Pinball, as he was at the curve leading to the yellow pathway of the giant pinball maze. Toadette flew down towards him, spinning her pink pigtails in the air as she had a yellow backpack full of coins, rings, and other currency.
"Hey Wally, my ally!" Toadette exclaimed as she showed off all the money in her backpack to Waluigi. "Look at all this cash I managed to snag from my treasure tracking!"
Waluigi observed as he placed his hands into the backpack, pulling out various forms of money as he looked at them, noticing most of them were brightly yellow, signifying that they were gold. He turned to Toadette, surprised. "Where did you find this stuff, kid?"
"Oh, on a treasure hunt. Duh!" Toadette giggled as she let Waluigi keep the money in exchange for some tacos, which she took and began munching on. "You know, there's something about Captain Toad that makes him stand out from all the other Toads... and I like it!"
Waluigi scoffed as he rolled his eyes, shaking his head as he placed the money away in his purple overalls. "Pleh, I don't. All he seems to be is a captain of Toads. That's not impressive considering that all Toads are basically like Birdo."
Toadette paused as she had a worried look on her face, turning to Waluigi. "What... do you mean...?"
"You didn't hear the news? Toads don't have a defined gender. Well, non specific ones, anyway." Waluigi explained as he spun a fish taco in his left hand. "It explains why they act so girly all the time despite them seeming to be males..."
Not believing this, Toadette dropped her taco as she began crying, not having realized the true horror of the statement that Waluigi told her as she dashed towards the regular path of the race course, dodging the giant black pinballs as Waluigi shrugged and kept eating the tacos he made.
