The very next night, the Halliwells were walking around the banquet hall that Oliver had rented out for the wedding rehearsal. Paige was carrying Chris around while Ethan and Wyatt were trying to sneak some of the desserts that Piper had baked.
"Mommy looking?" Wyatt asked and Ethan shook his head. Ethan sped over, grabbing two cookies, and arriving back to Wyatt. He smiled and handed one to Wyatt.
"Alright you two, you can't be sneaking cookies. You haven't eaten supper yet." Oliver smiled as he walked over.
They giggled and orbed off.
"You made him sleep on the couch last night?" Piper asked in disbelief as Paige told her sisters about the fight the night before.
"He was being unreasonable. Besides, I have other things to worry about." Paige said.
"Your charges?" Piper asked.
She shook her head. "I heard Ethan talking to someone last night. I-it reminded me of when we had the problem of Wyatt's imaginary friend. What if it's a demon?"
"He may have been talking to Chris." Phoebe suggested.
"Chris was asleep." Paige sighed as she saw Clark holding Ethan, showing him out the window.
"Daddy, I have a new fwiend." Ethan smiled.
Clark smiled widely. "Really? What's their name?"
"Cole!" he declared.
"Well, I would love to meet him." Clark smiled, "But, we better get you to the bathroom. You know how mommy is with potty training."
He started to walk his son out to the bathroom when the demon from the night before appeared. "Ethan run! Now! Go get mommy!"
"No! I help! Cole!" he yelled as a man appears beside Clark.
The demon formed an energy ball and threw it at Clark, knocking him back. Cole formed one and threw it at the demon, causing him to dodge it. He vanished.
"So, you're the one who saved Oliver and I?" Clark asked as he, Ethan, and Cole stood in the hallway.
"I did. I'm still trying to figure everything out anyways." Cole said as he picked Ethan up.
"But, if you're the monster of an ex-husband as Phoebe says, why did you save Oliver and I, let alone my son?"
"First of all, who could say no to this face." he said, pointing at Ethan, "Secondly, this kid is the number one target in the underworld."
"He what?!"
"There's this guy in the underworld by the name of Sokid. He's an upper-level demon who seems to have taken an interest in your little boy. Apparently, he matches up to Wyatt when you think about it, possibly even more of a match." Cole said.
"So, does he not know what happened to Kalic or is he just that stupid? Ethan has his mom and I, his aunts, and also his uncle Oliver." Clark said.
"He also has me." Cole states as Clark gives him a look.
"I promised Ethan I'm not gonna let anything happen to him. I'm keeping my promise."
"Cole, I ap-" "Clark? Ethan?" he heard Paige yell.
Cole sat Ethan down and shimmered away
