Virtue and Venom: Chapter 40
Konoha; 1 week after the Kazekage rescue mission: With Naruto, Sasuke, Ino, Mamushi and Anko
Naruto, Sasuke, Mamushi and Anko were all walking to the Hokage tower as Tsunade has summoned them; Naruto rolled his neck as he walked along the road.
"I wonder that granny Tsunade wants" Naruto said "hopefully it's not another mission; we still have one week of R left".
"Yeah, another week of you and Ino rutting like rabbits" Anko said and Ino blushed at this.
"Hey it's not like that" Ino protested "me and Naruto just entered a new phase of our relationship and we want to explore the emotional connection from it".
"Huh… what you talking about Ino" Naruto said confused "we're just having se-"; Naruto didn't finish his sentence as Ino elbowed him in the gut.
"Don't say it out loud doofus" Ino said and Mamushi chuckled.
"I totally agree with Ino" Mamushi said as everyone arrived at the Hokage tower "when you enter that phase you have to explore and experiment; a whole new world opens up and you have to try new things, maybe even with-".
Ino looked at Mamushi and spoke "oh my god Mamushi, how many times do I have to tell you; we are not going to have a foursome".
"Why not" Mamushi whined and both Naruto and Sasuke looked at each other.
"What is this about" Naruto asked.
"How the hell should I know; she never brought it up before" Sasuke said in total honesty.
"I just put out the offer; but Ino has a stick up her butt" Mamushi said and Ino blanched.
"I said no" Ino said but Naruto chimed in.
"Oh come on Ino, at least hear her out; maybe you'll-" Naruto began but was stopped by the looks Ino and Sasuke were giving him.
"If you finish that sentence, I can guarantee that you will never see me naked again" Ino said and Naruto winced.
"If you touch her I'll kill you" Sasuke said and Naruto got a tic mark.
"Why aren't you mad at her" Naruto said pointing to Mamushi.
"Trust me if you knew half the shit she wanted to try, it would make that look like role playing" Sasuke said.
"Uhh guys" Anko said as she pointed at the door to the Hokage office "Hokage?Mission"; everyone looked sheepish and nodded.
Hokage office: With Tsunade, Jiraya and Hiruzen
Tsunade, Jiraya and Hiruzen were all sitting and waiting when the door opened and Naruto, Anko, Mamushi, Sasuke and Ino all walked in.
"Hey Granny, Pervy Sage, Ji-ji" Naruto chirped as he walked in; he then realized that they were all serious and he dropped the cheer in his voice "what's going on" Naruto said and Tsunade spoke up.
"Naruto, Sasuke, Mamushi, Anko; we have a mission for you four" Tsunade said "Jiraya has found some information that will explain everything".
Jiraya stepped forward and spoke "While you were gone I've been checking my spy network for any hits" he said as he crossed his arms "I wanted to let you know that I found Orochimaru".
As soon as he said that both Anko and Mamushi both got wicked smiles on their faces; Hiruzen in all his years of being alive recognized those looks as he'd seen it twice. Once when Madara Uchiha set out alone to face off against the Second Tsuchikage Mu and a younger Third Tsuchikage Onoki and once when Kushina Uzumaki went out to kill an entire platoon of Kumo ninja who tried to kill her comrade Mikoto.
"Where's he at" Anko asked.
"How many men does he have" Mamushi asked.
"Is it a kill or capture mission" Anko asked.
"If it's a kill mission can I do it" Mamushi asked.
"I want his sword" Anko said.
"I want his skull so I can use it every time i eat ice cream after dinner" Mamushi said as both she and Anko began to release menacing chuckles.
"Wow… you two need therapy" Hiruzen said before clearing his throat "this is an assassination mission; no need to bring him back alive at all" he said and both Mamushi and Anko fist bumped.
"When are we leaving" Sasuke asked and Jiraya spoke.
"1 week" Jiraya said "gear up and spend time with your loved ones; this is by far going to be the hardest mission you'll ever do". "We will be heading to his Northern Hideout" Jiraya said "expect heavy resistance".
Naruto, Mamushi, Sasuke and Anko had serious expressions on their faces and Ino looked at them in worry; Ino reached out and grabbed Naruto's hand giving it a gentle squeeze.
Later that night; Yamanaka compound: With Naruto
Naruto was in the kitchen of the compound with his kunai and shuriken out on the table; he had 4 separate piles of weapons, 2 piles of shuriken and kunai that he hasn't sharpened yet and 2 piles that he did.
Naruto slowly dragged his kunai against the wet stone sharpening both edges of his blade; Naruto pulled it back and wiped off any excess oil with a rag and felt the edge. Naruto then grabbed a piece of paper and used his kunai to make a cut; Naruto's kunai cut clean through the paper and he nodded.
"Nice" Naruto said to himself as he placed the kunai in the sharpened pile; Naruto was about to grab another shuriken when he heard a noise behind him. Naruto turned around and saw Ino standing in the door way in her short shorts and her tank top "hey babe; what you doing up" he asked.
Ino walked in and sat with Naruto at the table "I woke up and you weren't in bed" Ino said and Naruto frowned "why are you up".
"Can't sleep" Naruto said as he picked up a shuriken and began to sharpen it "This is it Ino; after all the shit Orochimaru has put us through, this is our chance to make him pay". "He messed up Mamushi, cursed Anko and Sasuke, killed so many people we knew… I just want it to be over" Naruto said and Ino frowned.
"I know you want to help Naruto" Ino said before reaching out and putting her hand on his shoulder "but don't let it get to you… I don't want you to get sloppy and get hurt".
Naruto put down the shuriken and grabbed her hand "I'm now sloppy; if anything I'm more laser focused than ever" Naruto said giving Ino a reassuring smile. Ino smiled as well as she looked over and saw Naruto's sharpened blades; Ino got up and walked over to a drawer and pulled out a leather strop before sitting back down.
Ino put her foot through the loop and pulled the leather strop tight before grabbing one of Naruto's kunai "you always forget to refine the edge" Ino said as she began to run the blade along the leather strop.
"That's why your the smart one of the relationship" Naruto said before both he and Ino began to work together to sharpen his weapons.
Uchiha compound: With Mamushi and Sasuke
Mamushi and Sasuke were both in the training field in their taijutsu stances as they were both having a sparring session; Mamushi rushed towards Sasuke who activated his sharingan to see her movements.
Mamushi threw a punch towards Sasuke's face and Sasuke raised up his arm in order to block the strike; Sasuke countered with a punch of his own and Mamushi moved her head forward. Sasuke fist hit Mamushi's forehead with a thud and Sasuke felt a jolt in his wrist that ran up his arm.
"Gah" Sasuke yelped as Mamushi grabbed his hand and jumped up wrapping her legs around his arm and brought Sasuke to the ground; Mamushi put Sasuke into and arm bar and began to put pressure on his joint.
"Tap out Sasuke" Mamushi said and Sasuke strained to break free.
"Damn it" Sasuke said tapping her leg and Mamushi let go; Mamushi rolled away and hopped up.
"I win" Mamushi cheered as she ran over to a chalk board and put a tally under her name "that makes forty two wins for me and forty seven for you" she said and Sasuke huffed.
"I can't believe that happened" Sasuke said as he got up "why didn't you move your head when i punched".
Mamushi turned around and Sasuke saw the red mark on her forehead where his fist landed "I was doing what Rocky Balboa did" she said with a smile "I was blocking with my face".
Sasuke sweat dropped at this and shook his head "You're really something else" Sasuke said as he walked over and grabbed her hand "but I guess that's one thing I like about you" he said trying to hide his blush.
Mamushi smiled and gave him a kiss on the cheek "and I like how your hair looks like a ducks butt" she said and Sasuke sweat dropped again.
Mamushi and Sasuke both walked into the house and Mamushi rolled her neck "I'm so excited! I finally get to kill my dad" she squealed and Sasuke looked to her "I've waited so long and now I finally get to do it".
"That would sound very bad out of context" Sasuke said and Mamushi huffed.
"Oh I'm sorry Mr. 'I will kill my brother and avenge the Uchiha clan'" Mamushi said and Sasuke rolled his eyes.
"Ok, ok, fair point" Sasuke said as he began to walk to the bathroom "aren't you going to take a bath" he asked and Mamushi began to walk into the living room.
"I'll join you in a minute ok" Mamushi said and Sasuke nodded.
"Ok; I'll fill up the tub for you" Sasuke said and Mamushi nodded as he walked into the restroom.
Mamushi walked into the living room and looked above the fire place 'ohhhh baby… this is what I've been waiting for' Mamushi thought with a smile 'I can't wait to hang them up'. Mamushi turned around and began to walk to the bathroom to join Sasuke for a bath.
As she exited the room the moon light revealed 2 plaques for deer heads with 2 gold plates on each of them; one said 'Dad' and the others said 'Dad's bitch'.
Kakashi and Anko's apartment: With Kakashi and Anko
Anko was sitting on the couch watching TV with Kakashi as he had has his broken leg supported on a foot rest "It sucks" Kakashi said catching Anko's attention.
"What sucks" Anko asked curious.
"You're going on a important mission and I'm stuck here laid up" Kakashi said and Anko leaned against him and rubbed his thigh.
"Oh don't be sad my sexy scarecrow" Anko said making Kakashi groan.
"I really hate that nickname" Kakashi said and Anko giggled.
"Well… I'll tell you what" Anko said as she straddled Kakashi "when I get back from this mission, your leg should be healed up enough and we can-". Anko leaned in and began to whisper into Kakashi's ear and his eye widened; Kakashi's jaw then dropped and he began to shutter.
Anko pulled away and smiled "how does that sound" Anko said and Kakashi nodded vigorously.
"Yes, please" Kakashi said and Anko chuckled.
"Ok it's a deal" Anko said as she got off Kakashi and walked to the kitchen "I'm gonna get a drink, BRB" she said and Kakashi nodded.
'Oh my god she's actually going to do it for me' Kakashi thought with the eagerness of a child 'I can finally cross this off my bucket list'.
Time Skip; 1 week later: Konoha front gates
Naruto adjusted his backpack, Mamushi fixed her scythe, Anko put on her trench coat and Sasuke slung his sword over his shoulder. Jiraya looked on at Naruto and smiled.
'He's like a spitting image of you Minato' Jiraya thought 'I guess after this mission I can reveal his parents… I think he's ready'.
Naruto looked to the front gate and saw Ino, Kakashi, Tsunade and Hiruzen all standing there; Naruto walked over to Ino and smiled.
"I'll be back in a few days babe; don't you worry" Naruto said and Ino nodded "I love you".
Ino went in and gave Naruto a hug and a kiss on the lips "I love you too Naruto; be safe ok" she said and Naruto nodded before they seperated. Naruto walked over to Hiruzen and stood in front of the former Hokage.
"I'm sorry my boy" Hiruzen said with a tired sigh "you have to clean up this old fools mess"; Naruto scoffed at this and waved his hand.
"No problem Ji-ji; besides I have a bone to pick with this guy" Naruto said and Hiruzen nodded.
Jiraya walked to Tsunade and smiled "can i get a goodbye kiss… for good luck" Jiraya said with a wiggle of his eyebrows; Tsunade proceeded to slap him across the face leaving a red mark.
"I'm you're Hokage and that's sexual harassment" Tsunade roared and Jiraya grumbled; Tsunade then leaned in and gave him a kiss on the cheek "come back alive… pervert". Jiraya then made the goofiest looking face and began to giggle like an idiot "ughh… you had to ruin it" she said.
Anko went up to Kakashi and smirked "remember our deal" Anko said and Kakashi nodded with an eye smile.
"I look forwards to getting it" Kakashi said and Anko leaned in and gave him a kiss on the cheek before walking away.
"Ok you four" Jiraya said to Naruto, Mamushi, Sasuke and Anko "lets head out"; Jiraya and the others all began to walk down the road leaving Ino and the others behind.
Northern Hideout; 3 days later: With Orochimaru
Orochimaru was in his science lab with Kabuto as they began to dissect another test subject; suddenly a toad appeared in front of them making both hop back.
"What the hell" Orochimaru shouted as he pulled out a kunai and the toad spoke.
"I have a message from Mamushi" the toad said opening a scroll and making both Orochimaru and Kabuto go wide eyed:
Dear, dad; 'Knock, knock/ Who's there?/ Butter/ Butter Who?/ Butter get ready to see me because I'm coming to kill your ass
The toad then disappeared leaving both Orochimaru and Kabuto stunned; the next moment an explosion rocked the hideout and Orochimaru looked over to Kabuto.
"They found us" Orochimaru growled "Kabuto, contact Karin and release the prisoners"; Kabuto nodded as he ran over to an intercom.
"Karin; release all the prisoners and get ready to fight" Kabuto said.
"Very well" came the voice of Karin.
With Karin
Karin was in a control room with monitors so she can see every single cell with a prisoner in it 'oh well; here goes nothing' Karin thought as she pressed a button and every single cell in the facility opened and all the prisoners began to run out.
Karin adjusted her glasses and began to make her way to Orochimaru and Kabuto 'looks like I'll have to get my hands dirty' she thought.
Outside the compound: With Naruto, Jiraya, Mamushi, Anko and Sasuke
"Wow out combined wind and fire jutsu's really did a lot of damage" Naruto said as he looked at Jiraya, Mamushi and Sasuke.
"Yeah, two fireballs and two great breakthroughs make a hell of a jutsu" Jiraya said impressed "I wonder why we didn't think of it sooner".
"Hey look" Anko said pointing at the front doors which were opening up "they opened up the doors; what are-". Before Anko could finish over 200 inmates in their final curse mark forms ran out and were heading straight for them "oh…" Anko said bewildered.
"Awesome; we get to kill some jobbers" Mamushi cheered as she grabbed her scythe "can i go and fight them, can I, pretty please" Mamushi said eager and Jiraya shrugged.
"Knock yourself out" Jiraya said and Mamushi cheered.
"Naruto, Sasuke; wanna join" Mamushi asked and Naruto nodded.
"Sure; I can use a warm up" Naruto said taking out his trench knives.
"Ok" Sasuke said taking out his sword "lets go".
"Alright it's a threesome; let hit it" Mamushi said and Sasuke groaned while Naruto laughed.
"Oh come on it was a clever joke" Naruto said as he jumped away.
"Damn that girl" Sasuke groaned as he chased after them.
Anko and Jiraya both looked at each other and nodded "Ok then; let's go and find the snake" Jiraya said as he and Anko ran off while Naruto and the others began their battle.
