Virtue and Venom: Chapter 49
Suna; At night: With Kankuro
Kankuro was in the Kazekage tower going through paperwork as he was 'temporary' Kazekage until Gaara returns; Kankuro groaned as he went through another stack and put it to the side.
'Damn it Gaara; this is your job' Kankuro thought as he grabbed another sheet of paper 'hell even if it was just Temari and Hinata here it would go faster'. Suddenly there was a knock at the door and Kankuro looked at it 'probably Matsuri… here to bring me more work' Kankuro thought with a sigh "come in".
The door opened and Kankuro expected to see the brown haired Kunoichi and he did but not in the way he expected; Habu walked into the room holding Matsuri's head. Habu was holding the head by the girls brown hair as a blood trail followed behind her.
"Hello" Habu said with a smile; Kankuro got up quickly and attempted to grab his scroll to bring out one of his puppets. However before he could Habu threw the head towards Kankuro; Matsuri's head hit his hand knocking the scroll from his hand. Kankuro did not lose a beat as he tried to grab a kunai from his holster; however before he could Habu rushed over and grabbed him.
Habu had one hand on his neck and one hand on his arm that was holding the kunai; Habu snapped the arm and Kankuro let out a strained scream as Habu's hand was crushing his wind pipe. "Wow, not even a greeting to a visitor; how rude" Habu said acting hurt and Kankuro looked at her with a hateful glare.
"H-How did you get in" Kankuro asked and Habu smiled.
"Simple; I killed everyone on my way here" Habu said nonchalantly "you know the people defending the wall, several people on the street, that girl who's head I just hit you with". "I killed maybe about thirty people" Habu said with a shrug "but enough about me, lets talk about some business". "Where is the Kazekage" Habu asked seriously.
"I won't say" Kankuro said; Habu began to crush his neck and Kankuro began to struggle harder.
"I didn't find your sister, her girlfriend or that Hyuga girl your brother is fucking" Habu said with a scowl "You are the last one I can ask; now… where is Gaara". Kankuro feeling his throat beginning to break spoke hoarsely.
"Fuck…You" Kankuro said and Habu sighed; Habu using her strength crushed Kankuro's neck killing him instantly. Habu dropped him to the ground and tossed him aside.
"Idiot" Habu said as she began to walk out.
Outside the village: With Pein
Pein waited patiently outside the village as Habu came walking up "was he there" Pein asked and Habu shook her head.
"The one tails is not in the village; his sister and wife are not there either" Habu said walking up "their brother was, but he did not talk; so what now".
Pein looked at her and spoke "Suna has always been aggressive in it's policies and its expansionism" he said "the world will not become a better place with such an aggressive nation". Pein began to float up into the air and fly towards Suna making Habu raise and eyebrow at what he was going to do; Pein flew over the walls and hovered above the village and hands above his head.
"All Mighty Push" Pein said; suddenly the ground began to shake and sand began to fly off in all directions as Habu began to cover her eyes from the sand that was flying by her face. It lasted for a few seconds until it died down; Habu was covered in sand as she began to dust herself off and looked to where Pein was.
Habu's eyes widened in horror at what she saw; Suna, the village she was just in was now nothing more than a pile of ruins. In the middle of the ruins was a five mile wide crater; Habu has never seen such destruction before and it terrorized her.
Pein flew back over to Habu and landed "now do you see" Pein said looking at Habu "this… is the power of a god". "Go and find the one tails; do not return to the base until you do" Pein said and Habu nodded while swallowing hard.
Pein began to fly across the sky back towards the direction of Ame and Habu fell to her knees 'M-Madara wants to take him on; what the hell is he thinking' Habu thought as she grit her teeth. 'I'm strong but… this' Habu thought as she looked to what was left of Suna 'I need to rethink my plan'. Habu got to her feet and began to thing 'the only place I can think of that the one tails could be is Konoha' she thought 'looks like I'm heading east'.
Habu began to go east leaving the ruins of Suna behind her.
4 hours; Near the Suna border at dawn: With Hinata, Temari and Tayuya
Hinata, Temari and Tayuya were walking across the border to get back to Suna; they've been on the road for about 2 days and can't wait to get back home.
"So you're really thinking about asking Gaara for a kid" Temari said to Hinata and she nodded "wow, really".
"Yes really" Hinata said softly "seeing Gaara with Naruto's child really struck a cord with me; I think he could be a great father".
"I agree" Tayuya said "all he has to do is not be a prick like Temari's dad or a neglectful asshole like yours".
"Tayuya" Temari said shocked and Tayuya shrugged.
"What her dad called her 'worthless' and 'a failure'; and your dad tried to Kill Gaara dozens of times" Tayuya said "basically all Hinata and Gaara have to do is do the exact opposite".
"You're right Tayuya" Hinata said making both girls look at her "when we become parents… our child will be born into a house of love and compassion". "When the time is right we will start trying for a baby" Hinata said and Temari smiled; Tayuya however began to chuckle.
"You know when bitches say 'trying for a baby'; it's really a polite way of saying 'getting creampied by my boyfriend" Tayuya said as she began to laugh. Hinata began to grow red from embarrassment and Temari looked like she was about to scold her until they heard a second set of laughter.
"Hahaha, creampied by my boyfriend; that's hilarious" Habu said from behind the group; Hinata, Temari and Tayuya turned around and say Habu. Hinata got into her taijutsu stance while activating her Byakugan, Tayuya took out her flute and Temari grabbed her fan.
"Fuckin fuck; its her" Tayuya said and Habu nodded.
"Yep, its me" Habu said before looking at Hinata "so… Naruto has a kid in Konoha now huh".
"What's it to you bitch" Temari said; Habu in a flash rushed over and punched Temari in the face breaking her nose. Habu then grabbed her fan from her hands and swatted Temari into a sand dune; Habu grabbed both ends of the fan and bent it to a 90 degree angle.
"I wasn't talking to you" Habu said; Tayuya was about to rush in but Hinata stopped her.
"Don't Tayuya; keep your head" Hinata said and Tayuya growled; Habu turned to Hinata and spoke.
"And you said Gaara was holding Naruto's child; how very useful" Habu said making Hinata and Tayuya go wide eyed "you know it's funny; I was heading to Konoha to see in Gaara was there, but it looks like you saved me some time". Both Hinata and Tayuya looked at the smirking Habu and Habu continued speaking "I saw you three and I thought, maybe I should torture and kill them to find out the information; but looks like that's no longer necessary".
"So what now" Hinata asked nervously and Habu began to walk forward; Tayuya charged at her and sent a flying kick towards her head. Habu grabbed her foot and slammed her onto the ground knocking the breath out of her as she laid on the ground moaning; Habu proceeded to kick Tayuya in the gut as she smiled viciously before she approached Hinata.
Hinata got ready for a blow but instead Habu gently put her hand on her face "I would so love to bring you back with me; Fu and I would love to have fun with a girl with such a nice body"; Habu moved her hand down and dragged a single finger along Hinata's breasts making her feel uncomfortable "but… I need you to send a message to Naruto".
Hinata was trembling in fear as Habu looked at her with a soft smile "w-what message" Hinata asked; Habu put her hand onto Hinata shoulder and gently gripped it.
Habu quickly pulled Hinata down and kneed her in the gut making her cough out her breath and fall to the ground; Hinata vomited as Habu looked down at the injured Hyuga with a smirk.
"Tell Naruto, I'll be coming to claim him; and I can't wait to spend time with him again" Habu said to the gasping Hinata "until next time… tata" Habu said as she began to walk away. "By the way, if you run for another few hours west; you'll see a giant crater where Suna used to be" Habu said with a chuckle as she left Hinata, Tayuya and Temari injured and on the ground.
Temari leaned up with a groan and looked at looked at Hinata and Tayuya; Temari went through hand signs and then used the blood from her bloody nose and slammed her hand onto the ground.
"Summoning Jutsu" Temari said; a puff of smoke erupted and a white weasel appeared "go to Gaara in Konoha; tell them Suna has been attacked by the Akatsuki". The weasel nodded and poof'd into smoke; Temari looked at her bent fan and frowned "bitch" she said before falling backwards.
Meanwhile; In Konoha, Yamanaka household : With Naruto, Ino, Karin, Inoichi and Hikaruga
"Oh… what a little lover boy" Hikaruga said as she held Asuma in her arms "Inoichi, our first grandchild; and Ino didn't have to get pregnant".
"That's a strange way to put it mom" Ino said as she sat with Naruto and Karin in the living room "especially since he's not related to you, like at all".
"I don't care about that" Hikaruga said "Naruto is basically like your husband anyway; so Asuma is family".
"Thanks mom" Naruto said as he wrapped his arm around Ino "don't worry, I'll marry Ino one day; first I got to get a ring, find the right moment, stop the end of the world and kill Habu first".
Ino and Karin chuckled at this "well I'm just glad I have a baby daddy who didn't run for the hills when I told him I was pregnant" Karin said looking at Naruto "and he pays child support; I swear, hell might freeze over next".
Naruto scoffed and looked at her "oh come on; I'd never abandon a pregnant lady" Naruto said "I'll always own up to my responsibilities".
Meanwhile in an alternate universe
Naruto entered his house and spoke "honey I'm home; what's for dinner" he said as he entered the house.
"Oh hey Naruto" Kurenai said walking out of the kitchen towards Naruto; Kurenai then kissed Naruto on the lips and smiled "back from the Kusa already; how was it".
Naruto rolled his neck and sighed "another boring escort mission done; I'm just glad I get a week off" he said; Naruto then heard some fussing and looked over to a little play pen "oh hey sweetie; how you doing". Naruto walked over and reached into the play pen and pulled out his step-daughter Mirai.
"Hey baby girl; did you miss me" Naruto said as the baby snuggled against his orange jacket "hehe… you missed daddy huh".
Kurenai smiled at this; after Asuma's death at the hands of Hidan, Naruto took it upon himself to help out Kurenai through her pregnancy out of guilt. What first started out as help soon turned into romance and a night of passion between Kurenai and Naruto; Naruto has since moved in and became Kurenai's husband and Mirai's father.
'Asuma may be her father' Kurenai thought 'but Naruto… you're her daddy'; Kurenai walked over and gave Naruto another kiss and smiled. "I just finished making some curry; lets eat, you must be hungry" Kurenai said and Naruto nodded.
"Thanks babe" Naruto said before looking at Mirai "lets go and eat mama's dinner sweetie".
Back to the story
"Well I'm glad it was you Naruto" Karin said as she gave him a hug.
"Uh oh" Hikaruga said while holding Asuma "someone needs a diaper change".
"I got it" Inoichi said as he walked over and grabbed Asuma "time to dust off the old 'changing diapers' skills I thought I'd never have to use again". Inoichi and Hikaruga took Asuma to another room to change him.
As that happened there was a knock on the door "huh, wonder who that is" Ino said as she walked up and opened the door "Anko sensei, Kakashi sensei; what are you guys doing here".
Naruto looked over and saw Kakashi and Anko standing at the door and saw looks of dread plastered across their faces "what happened" Naruto said getting into 'fight mode'.
"Get to the Hokage tower ASAP" Kakashi said "full combat gear, and anything else you'll need". Kakashi took a deep breath and spoke "they're back" he said and they all knew what he meant.
Hokage office; 20 minutes later
Naruto, Ino, Sasuke, Mamushi, Orochimaru, Kakashi, Anko, Sai and Kabuto were all looking at Tsunade, Hiruzen and Gaara in worry.
"Approximately an hour ago, Gaara was informed by weasel sent his sister Temari that her group was attacked; it was Habu who did it" Tsunade said; both Naruto and Mamushi got visibly angered by this.
Ino grabbed onto Naruto's hand and Sasuke wrapped his arm around Mamushi's shoulder "they are currently heading back to Suna; and from what we found out by corresponding through her weasel there was an attack there" Tsunade said.
"Then what is the plan" Naruto asked and Gaara walked forward.
"I'm heading back to Suna and you will all come with me" Gaara said "I need to see the damage done to my village; if we hurry we could be there in a two days".
"Lets go then" Mamushi said speaking up "we need to help them out".
Gaara nodded and spoke "meet at the west gate in an hour" he said and everyone nodded.
2 days later; Suna: With Naruto and group
"Fuck me" Naruto said as he and his group stood on the edge of Suna, or what was left of it; Suna was reduced to a pile of rubble with the only exception being a wide crater in the middle of the village.
"What kind of monster could do this" Sasuke said looking at the destruction "Habu couldn't have done this; even she isn't this powerful".
"It was Pein who did this" Orochimaru said gaining everyone's attention "he has a technique called the 'All Might Push'". "I've seen it before but… not on this scale" Orochimaru said as he scowled 'so this is the power of the rinnegan'.
"Look, over there" Sai said pointing off into the distance; there were several clouds of black smoke "those might be survivors".
Gaara looked at everyone "stay alert" he said as he and the others rushed over to the smoke.
After running for a few minutes Naruto and the others found a large camp made of tents and rickety huts made of scrap metal and wood; outside there were several Suna shinobi, one of them pulled out a sword and spoke.
"Halt, who goes there" he shouted as the group approached; upon him seeing Gaara he dropped his sword "Lord Kazekage; thank Kami you're back".
"What happened" Gaara asked.
"The Akatsuki attacked us my Lord; we never even saw them" the ninja said "we couldn't find Lord Kankuro… we think he was in the tower when it happened; there was nothing left". Gaara balled up his fists in anger and spoke.
"Where is Hinata and Temari" Gaara said trying to keep his composure.
"They are with elder Chiyo; she set up a hospital tent in the middle of the camp" the ninja said "I'll escort you there"; the ninja began to lead Gaara and the other through the camp and everyone looked around.
Everyone looked defeated and crushed as both ninja and civilian alike tried to hold together "how bad are the casualties" Ino asked and the sand ninja choked.
"Eighty percent of the village is dead or unaccounted for" he said shocking them all "we had eight thousand civilians and only one thousand five hundred have been found along with five hundred ninja out of two thousand". "We have people searching for anyone else" he said; as the approached the hospital tent they opened it up to a horror show.
Hundreds of wounded civilians and ninja laid in cots and on the ground as doctors and medics walked around helping those in need.
"Lord Gaara; you're alive" Chiyo said walking over to Gaara and the group "and I see you brought help".
"Elder Chiyo, have you been in charge" Gaara asked and Chiyo nodded.
"I have; lady Temari and Tayuya are out patrolling and Lady Hinata is over in the children section of the tent" Chiyo said "she's readying story book to the youngsters… poor little babies".
Gaara looked to Naruto and the others and spoke "I'm heading to Hinata" he said before walking off.
"Kabuto; help out where ever you can" Orochimaru said.
"Yes Lord Orochimaru" Kabuto said as he walked off.
"I will assist myself; where is the intensive care ward".
"Follow me" Chiyo said leading Orochimaru with caution written in her expression.
"I'll help too" Ino said before looking at Naruto "Naruto, create a hundred clones and send them everywhere".
Naruto nodded "got it babe" Naruto said as he stood outside the tent and made his signature hand sign "Shadow clone Jutsu". Naruto created 100 clones and turned to them "ok boys, we have injured people in here; lets help out" he shouted.
"Got it boss" the clones shouted as they began to pour into the medical tent.
In Ame: With Pein, Konan, Madara, Zetsu and Fu
"Where is she" Madara said "it's been nearly three days".
"She is coming soon" Pein said; a few minutes later a door opened up and Habu walked in "you sure took a long time Habu".
Habu looked to Pein and spoke "I got side tracked… by enemy ninja" Habu said.
Flashback: 2 days ago
Habu was walking through the scorching Suna desert as she was heading north; as she walked through the desert she wiped some sweat off her forehead.
"Damn this heat" Habu said as she continued to walk; as she did she saw what looked like a picket sign "finally". Habu ran over and read the sign to gauge where she was at and what villages were where.
"Ok so Suna is to the North, North village is to the west and east village is… also to the North" Habu read before looking in all four directions "where the fuck am I".
Flashback ends
"Yeah… enemy ninja" Habu said before clearing her throat "anyway, I found out where the one tails is; he's in Konoha with Naruto and the failure".
"Excellent" Pein said.
"So what do you have in mind" Konan asked and Pein looked at her.
"We will attack Konoha with an all out assault" Pein said making them all look at him "we have approximately ten thousand of the white Zetsu that Madara has been storing; with Konoha severely out numbered we could attack". "We will win two victories at the same time; we will destroy Konoha and gain the last two Biju required for our plan" Pein said "we should move out a week from now".
"So we'll all go and attack Konoha" Fu said and Pein shook his head.
"No" Pein said before looking at Konan "Konan will stay here and defend Ame in case of an attack".
"Are you sure" Konan asked "I mean-"; Konan tried to speak but Pein cut her off.
"You were one of the first Akatsuki members; you have the responsibility to defend Ame" Pein said and Konan nodded.
"Yes, Lord Pein" Konan said and Habu walked up.
"If that's the case could you watch Tokara for me" Habu asked "after all you are her god mother"; Konan raised and eyebrow at this.
"I am" Konan asked confused and Fu spoke up.
"Who else would we choose" Fu said "the plant guy, the guy who wears a mask twenty four seven, Pein; you're the only normal person here".
"What do you mean by that" Habu asked and Fu crossed her arms.
"Mistress you were created in a lab and I had a giant demon beetle sealed in me" Fu said "trust me… she's the most normal".
"Very well then" Konan said.
"Great; I'll tell you everything you need to know" Habu said as she, Konan and Fu all walked away.
3 days later; gates of Konoha: With Naruto and the others
Naruto, his group and the remaining people of Suna all walked through the gates of Konoha where Tsunade, Hiruzen and the clan heads all waited; as they walked through the gates Naruto, Gaara and Sasuke all walked up.
"You made it" Tsunade said as she looked at the group and the countless Suna refugees flowing behind them "how bad".
"It's pretty damn bad" Naruto said before Gaara walked forward.
"We have a thousand refugees, mostly civilians; we have no where else to go" Gaara said and Sasuke spoke up next.
"The Uchiha compound has enough room for half of them; it's not a hotel but it's better then the tents they've been sleeping in" Sasuke said "we need a place for the rest of them".
"May I suggest the Chunin exam arena" Hiashi Hyuga said speaking up "it has running water, latrines and will keep them out of the elements".
"That's a pretty good idea Hiashi" Hiruzen said and Hiashi nodded "my clan can donate bedrolls and blankets; we have a large surplus from the last war".
"My clan provide food for them" Choza Akimichi said "we can afford it".
"This Inuzuka can provide security to them" Tsume said looking at the refugees "I'd rather not have looters and criminals coming to their camp and stealing what little they have".
"Fine, do it" Tsunade said and everyone nodded; Hinata walked over and bowed.
"Lady Tsunade, Father; I'm glad to be back, but I wish the circumstances were better" Hinata said and Tsunade and Hiashi nodded.
"Who did this Hinata" Hiashi asked and Hinata spoke.
"It's was Habu and the Akatsuki" Hinata said "she ambushed me, Temari and Tayuya on the road; I made the mistake of saying Gaara held Naruto's child… she knows Gaara is in Konoha now".
"Don't worry about that" Hiashi said "what did she say".
"She said that… the Akatsuki are coming" Hinata said and everyone went wide eyed "she seems especially fixated on Naruto".
Naruto hearing this felt a wave of anxiety and fear until he spoke "let her come, I'm not the weakling I was last time" he said; however Sasuke and Tsunade heard the fear in his voice and Tsunade spoke.
"Damn it" Tsunade said "they already destroyed one village, and if they come here then we don't know what will happen". "I don't want what happened to Suna to happen here" Tsunade said and Gaara nodded.
Gaara looked to the large group passing behind him and spoke "nor do I" Gaara said before turning to Tsunade; we need to plan for this".
"I have a suggestion" came a voice; out of the shadows Danzo appeared with Fu and Torune by his side.
"And what is that" Tsunade asked skeptical.
"We wait" Danzo said making everyone go wide eyed.
"What? No way" Naruto shouted before Hiruzen cut him off.
"Silence Naruto" Hiruzen said sternly and Naruto huffed "what do you mean".
Danzo smirked and spoke "we know they are coming… but we'll be waiting" he said before looking at Hiruzen "remember Lord Hashirama's plan in case Madara came to the village with the nine tails if her got defeated". Hiruzen went wide eyed and spoke.
"That will be a logistical nightmare and a race against time" Hiruzen said and Danzo nodded; Hiruzen clenched his fists and spoke "but… looks like we have no choice".
"What are you talking about sensei" Tsunade asked and Hiruzen looked at everyone.
"All clan heads, jonin, anbu, root, Naruto, Gaara and their teams meet me in the council chamber in one hour" Hiruzen said as he began to walk away "this is going to be complicated".
3 days later: With Habu, Fu, Konan and Tokara
"And there you go" Habu said as she changed Tokara's diaper on a changing table "all better; how do you feel baby". Tokara giggled and Habu smiled as she went in and gave her a kiss "don't worry honey, mommy has to leave to work for a little while" she said "but I'll be back so fast you won't even miss me".
Habu turned to Konan who was standing next to Fu "are you sure you can watch her; I'm serious Konan" Habu asked and Konan nodded.
"I'll be fine, she's just a baby" Konan said and Habu nodded.
"Just remember she likes to be sang to at bed time and she loves cuddling" Habu said "make sure she's constantly watched".
"I will" Konan said; Habu nodded and walked over and handed Tokara to Konan. Konan looked to Tokara and smiled at the innocent blonde baby who was looking at her with her metallic blue eyes "I need to go talk to Pein; I guess I'm taking Tokara for a little walk".
Konan walked out of the room with Tokara and Fu looked to Habu with a smile; Habu looked at her with a raised eyebrow "What" Habu asked.
"You're a good mother mistress" Fu said as she wrapped her arms around Habu.
"And so are you" Habu said as she gave Fu a kiss on the lips.
"And when we get Naruto here and he see's Tokara… our little family will be whole" Fu said and Habu nodded.
"Trust me; you'll like him" Habu said with a smile "blonde hair, blue eyes, goofy smile".
"I can't wait" Fu said "what about Naruto's other child".
"Don't know… maybe we should keep it; give Tokara a little playmate" Habu said with a shrug "although we're going to kill Ino though; can't have her looking for her daughter".
Just then Madara and Zetsu walked in and interrupted their moment "Habu, we leave in ten minutes; get you're weapons" Madara said and Habu nodded.
"Fine" Habu said as she went and picked up both Kusanagi and Samehada "lets go already; I have a daddy to capture".
Habu, Fu, Madara and Zetsu all left the room and went to look for Pein so they can leave.
1 Day later; Outside Konoha: With Habu, Pein, Madara, Fu and Zetsu
A giant sphere of rock and boulders appeared in the distance from Konoha as it slowly began to get closer towards the village.
Pein was standing on a hill over looking Konoha with the Akatsuki and the 10,000 strong White Zetsu army behind him "here we are" Pein said as he began to float in the air "wait here". Pein flew over Konoha and stood over the middle of the village.
Pein raised both of his hands into the air and began to speak "all mighty-" however before he could finish he stopped; Pein lowered his hands and began to go down towards the ground. When Pein landed on the ground he looked around and came to a realization.
He was alone.
There were no people around as he began to walk through the streets of Konoha, stores were closed, homes were locked and there were no sounds; a crash happened behind him and Pein turned around.
There was a small white cat that fell out of a trash can; Pein flew back into the air and began to fly back towards his army. After a few minutes Pein landed and spoke "the village is abandoned" he said and everyone went wide eyed.
"Konoha's abandoned; this village had a population of twenty thousand people" Habu asked confused and Pein nodded as he turned to Zetsu.
"Zetsu, look around the village" Pein said and Zetsu nodded.
"Yes Lord Pein" White Zetsu said "I'll look around at several places of interest" said black Zetsu; Zetsu went into the ground and Pein looked around.
"Go into the village and make sure no stone is left in turned" Pein said and everyone nodded.
"I'm going to go and pay Danzo a visit" Madara said before he vanished in a vortex.
"I got to find my baby daddy" Habu said as she began to walk towards the villlage "Fu… how about you go and search the Uchiha compound; who knows maybe Mamushi's boy toy left some clues".
"Yes mistress" Fu said as her wings came out and she began to fly towards the Uchiha compound.
Pein looked to his White Zetsu army and spoke "move into the village" he said; the white Zetsu's all began to run towards the village with Pein flying above them while the Giant Sphere of rock got closer to Konoha.
Hokage tower: With Zetsu
Zetsu appeared on the top of the Hokage tower and began to go in; Zetsu walked down the stairs and into the building. Zetsu walked through the dark hallways of the Hokage tower and found the Hokage's office; Zetsu opened the door and looked inside.
As expected the office was abandoned and Zetsu walked in and began looking around; Zetsu walked over to the Hokage's desk and saw there was a scroll open. On the scroll there was a ink drawing of a tiger; Zetsu picked up the scroll and studied it.
'The Hokage was a painter' Zetsu thought confused; unseen by him Sai was in the ceiling of the room hiding his chakra signature.
Nailed to the ceiling was a large piece of parchment with the drawing of a life size tiger; Sai looked down at Zetsu and made a single hand sign.
'Sealing Jutsu; Crouching Tiger Bullet' Sai thought; suddenly the tiger kept from the parchment and went down towards Zetsu. Zetsu who was caught off guard looked up in surprise before the ink tiger sunk it's claws into him.
The Ink tiger pulled Zetsu back up towards the ceiling and into the paper; Sai grabbed the paper and jumped down towards the floor while rolling it up.
"Looks like Orochimaru's guess was correct" Sai said as he finished rolling up the paper and clicked his radio "Lady Tsunade, this is Sai; Zetsu has been captured".
Hokage mountain secret tunnels: With Tsunade
Tsunade along with all of Konoha's ninja were in the secret caverns of the Hokage monument "Very good Sai; go to the secondary location" she said.
"Yes Lady Tsunade" Sai said over the radio.
Tsunade smirked as the plan was working 'Well Sensei, looks like Danzo's plan has worked' she thought.
Flashback; 4 days ago, Council chamber: With Naruto and the others
Naruto and everyone else looked down at Danzo and Hiruzen who were getting ready to speak and explain their plan.
"When, me and Lord Third were but children we saw the destructive power of Madara Uchiha" Danzo said "when Lord Hashirama left off to fight Madara at the valley of the end he instructed Lord Tobirama what to do in the case of his defeat".
Hiruzen walked up next and spoke "Lord Tobirama was told that in the case of Madara coming back to take revenge on the village; we were supposed to evacuate all civilians and keep only shinobi in the village to fight him off".
Everyone began to whisper and murmur at this until Tsume spoke up "so what, are we just suppose to abandon our homes to the Akatsuki; we've never abandoned Konoha before, why should we now" she said and Hiruzen looked at her.
"Tsume… the village is nothing but buildings" Hiruzen said shocking them all "Konoha is the people, our ideals; buildings can be replaced… but people cannot". "We have eight thousand shinobi from both Konoha and Suna here; and we must protect those who cannot defend themselves" Hiruzen said.
Danzo spoke up again "we will use the catacombs in the Hokage mountain to hide the ninja while the enemy entered the village" Danzo said "once they do we will emerge and engage the enemy". "We will have an overwhelming advantage over them" Danzo said "this is our home damn it; we know the buildings and the streets, the choke points and the dead ends".
"A tactical retreat and a feint" Shibi said speaking up and both Danzo and Hiruzen nodded "that seems wise; it'll limit our casualties".
"We have over twenty thousand people in this village and twelve thousand are civilians" Hiruzen said "we have to work fast in order to get this done; so go and gather all ninja to assist the civilians". "We don't have a lot of time" Hiruzen said and everyone got up and left.
Flashback ends
Tsunade stood up and looked to the shinobi behind her "everybody move out and get to your fighting positions" she shouted as she and the thousands of ninja began to run through a maze of tunnels heading off in different directions.
Root HQ: With Madara
Madara appeared in the Root HQ in a vortex; he did not have to wait long as he heard 2 sets of foot steps.
"Hello again Madara; if that even is your name" Danzo said as he came out of the shadows with Kakashi.
"Danzo and Kakashi… how fortunate" Madara said as the 2 people he wanted to kill arrived "and I thought the village was abandoned".
"No; we are still here" Danzo said "we just prepared"; suddenly 2 figures fell from the ceiling revealing them to be Fuu and Torune. "I've waited a long time for this" Danzo said as he removed his robe and revealed his artificial arm along with the implanted sharingan "time to dispose of the trash".
Kakashi raised his headband and revealed his sharingan and spoke "I hope you are ready to die" Kakashi said "because I'm ready to stop you, no matter the cost".
"Hehehehe" Madara chuckled darkly "you four are not match for me; you will all die like the dogs you are".
"I am Kakashi the copy ninja; I've copied over one thousand Jutsu" Kakashi said "and I'll use all of them to defeat you".
"If i die here, it will be in service to Konoha; I cannot think of no nobler of a death" Danzo said "enough talk, lets kill this bastard and rid Konoha of this cancer". Madara chuckled as he took off his Akatsuki robes and tossed them aside before taking out a single kunai.
"Come at me" Madara said.
Uchiha compound: With Fu
Fu landed in the Uchiha compound and began to look around for any signs of life; as Fu walked through the compound she walked into a large open training ground with nothing but lush green grass present.
"Come on out; I know you're here" Fu said; as soon as she said a genjutsu lifted and 4 people came out.
Ino, Karin, Temari and Tayuya all came out and surrounded Fu "you're Fu, the jinchuriki of the seven tails" Ino said and Fu nodded "why are you helping Habu and the Akatsuki; they've been hunting jinchuriki for their Biju".
Fu looked at her and spoke "because Mistress Habu gave me a second chance at life; and for the past year I've been more happy than I ever was in Taki" she said. "I love her with all my heart; and I'd do anything for her" Fu said and Karin spoke up.
"But she's a monster, a rapist; how could you love her" Karin said and Fu shrugged.
"One persons monster is another persons hero" Fu said; Fu then looked over to Ino and spoke "you are Ino correct, mistress told me about you". "May I ask where is Naruto; Mistress told me to collect him" Fu said and Ino scowled.
"Why the hell would she want Naruto" Ino asked and Fu smiled.
"So our family can be complete" Fu said and everyone looked a little confused.
"You'll get him over our cold dead bodies" Temari said taking out her fan and opening it.
Fu smiled even harder and spoke "that can be arranged" she said 'Chomei; are you ready'.
"Yes child; lets show them our power" Chomei said in Fu's mind
Fu's curse mark began to activate and spread over her and Tayuya went wide eyed "Oh fuck" Tayuya said and the others looked at her "um guys… this might be a little harder than we thought".
Fu's curse mark not completely covered her and she was in her final curse mark form; Fu's tan skin was now a dark grey as her mint green hair was now darker and longer. Her beautiful wings became more edged and sharp; finally top of her head grew a rhinoceros beetle horn that as about six inches long.
Everyone looked at this in horror and disgust as Fu no longer looked human anymore.
"Kami above" Temari said.
"H-her power" Karin said nervously; Fu's chakra was now darker and more repulsive than before, Fu felt completely different than the test subjects she worked with.
Tayuya cursed in her mind 'fuck, the curse mark amplifies our power a shit ton when we use it as a normal person' she thought thinking about her and the sound five 'but if someone with a Biju or Biju chakra used it… damn we got fucked getting her'.
Ino swallowed hard and spoke "I don't care who you are or what your plans are" Ino said "no one is taking Naruto from me; especially you monsters". Tayuya pulled out her flute, Karin summoned her chains , Temari gripped her fan and Ino took out several kunai "come get some bitch" Ino shouted.
Yamanaka flower feilds: With Habu
Habu was walking through the Yamanaka flower fields after getting done searching the Yamanaka compound; as she walked through the field a giant snake shot out towards her. Habu took out Kusanagi and chopped the snake's head off.
"Nice try" Habu said as she looked off to where the snake came from; Mamushi, Orochimaru and Anko all got up from the knee high flowers "did you really think that would work".
"No, just wanted to get your attention" Mamushi said as she scowled at Habu "I had a feeling you'd be looking for Naruto; looks like I was right".
Habu smiled and nodded "yes I am, I came to take him back with me; me and Fu want him to join us" she said before losing her smile "where is he".
"Like we'd tell you" Anko said as she took out a kunai and got into her taijutsu stance.
Habu laughed and looked at Orochimaru "you're here helping her… my how far you've fallen" she said "I'm your perfect warrior and yet you choose a reject and your abandoned apprentice; how sad".
"You were a mistake; I created a monster, and that's saying a lot" Orochimaru said getting into his stance "you're time is up Habu; this is where your story ends".
Mamushi grabbed her scythe and activated her snake sage mode; her arm snakes appeared and her larger one grew out of her back "time to die monster" she said and Habu chuckled.
"Kinda ironic calling me a monster while looking like that" Habu said as she activated her curse mark mode; Habu's lower body turned into that of a snake, her nails turned into claws and her mouth turned more snake like "hehe; last time I used this form was at the valley of the end fighting Naruto, your boy toy and the one tails".
"Well guess what; it's not going to help you" Mamushi said as she got into her fighting stance "I'm going to enjoy killing you".
Habu smiled at this and spoke "atta girl" she said before charging at Mamushi.
Center of the village: With Pein
Pein was moving through the village with a large contingent of White Zetsu's; as walked he keep constant vigilance and was prepared.
Naruto, Sasuke and Hiruzen were on a roof top and were going through hand signs; as they finished both Naruto, Sasuke and Hiruzen jumped out.
"Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu" Sasuke shouted as he fired a massive fire ball towards Pein.
"Fire Style: Dragon Flame bomb" Hiruzen shouted as he fired a powerful fire Jutsu towards Pein and his White Zetsu's.
"Wind Style: Great Breakthrough" Naruto shouted as he fired a wind Jutsu towards Sasuke and Hiruzen's fire Jutsu; the wind Jutsu combined with both fire Jutsu and created a massive fire storm heading towards Pein.
Pein held out his hand and spoke "All mighty push"; as the fire approached Pein it began to go around him like a rock in the middle of a stream. When the fire died down Pein stood there as the Zetsu that were following him were reduced to ashes and the surrounding buildings were set ablaze.
"So… you were here" Pein said.
Naruto, Sasuke and Hiruzen landed and looked at Pein "It's not just us" Naruto said; just then 3 more people jumped down and joined them. Tsunade, Gaara and Sai all appeared and stood next to Naruto and the others.
"Hello Pein… or should I say Nagato" Tsunade said making Pein raise an eyebrow.
"How did you know" Pein asked and Tsunade spoke.
"Danzo and Orochimaru" Tsunade said "Orochimaru talked about Konan, one of the young genin Jiraya taught in Ame all those years ago; Danzo told us how he and Hanzo teamed up to kill you three and Yahiko was killed". "And the eyes are also a dead giveaway; those were Nagato's eyes" Tsunade said and Pein nodded.
"Correct, however, I no longer go by that name; I am Pein and Pein alone" Pein said and Naruto stepped forward.
"I don't give a fuck who you are; I'm here to stop you and your Akatsuki bastards once and for all" Naruto said as he pulled out his trench knives.
Pein looked at him and spoke "well then… looks like the odds are even for me"; everyone became confused until they heard something falling from the sky. Everyone looked up and saw five figures land on the ground; there were five more people, four men and one woman who looked like Pein with the orange hair and the black piercings.
"We are the six paths of Pein; Deva, Asura, Human, Animal, Preta and Naraka" the Deva path said making everyone go wide eyed "six on six… how fortunate".
Naruto grit his teeth and spoke "we won't go down that easy" Naruto shouted; Naruto activated his Kurama mode and gripped his trench knives as they began to glow just like Naruto's cloak.
Sasuke activated his EMS and summoned out his Susanoo as he glared at Pein "I won't lose to you" he said.
Gaara's gourd became sand and began to swirl around him "you will pay for what you did to Suna" he said in anger.
Hiruzen summoned out the monkey king Enma in his staff form and spun it around before getting into his stance "The will of fire will not be extinguished by the likes of you" he said.
Tsunade activated her '100 Healings' as her diamond tattoo began to spread over her body and she got into her stance "My grandfather village will not fall" she said with determination.
The Deva path looked on passively as he spoke "very well then" he said as a black chakra rod appeared in both of his hands "time to show you the true meaning of Pein".
Naruto cracked his neck and spoke "Bring it then" Naruto said as he and the others charged towards the six paths as the battle of Konoha began.
