He looked at the creatures while the old man stood next to him. "This plan of yours. I can say it is very interesting." Jiyū said as Madara nodded.
"Unfortunately if I'm not careful, it could all go wrong in an instant. That's why I need someone loyal to my plans. Someone I know won't fail me."
Jiyū stayed silent, thinking to himself. "I know you have your own goals, so I think it's only fair for me to find someone."
Jiyū looked down at the old man. "No, I can help you. This plan of yours doesn't interfere with mine. In fact it may help me. I can help find your successor, as long as they don't interfere with my own ideas and ambitions."
Madara nodded as the two began to walk away, Jiyū's hand in the old man's back as green chakra flowed into Madara. They walked together until they reached the room that held the statue and Madara connected the tendril of the statue back into his neck, Jiyū removing his hand from the old man and wiping the blood from his hand.
"Thank you, I have not been able to leave this room in a few years now, not since I lost my Rinnegan." Jiyū only nodded as he began to walk away. "Where are you going?" the old man asked.
Jiyū stopped and stood at the exit of the chamber. "I'm going to begin on some plans of my own. I'll be back soon." with that he left the chamber as Madara looked to its ceiling and closed his eyes.
